Been here twice with my partner now and both times everything was exceptional, amazing, attentive staff, always smiles on their faces, the food is amazing especially for the prices, 10/10 lunch menu, would recommend to everyone.

Great gluten free options - all the pizza and most pasta dishes can be gluten free! The waiters were really kind and careful when taking my order and spoke to the kitchen specifically about me being coeliac. The food was lovely so would definitely recommend.

The staff was super attentive and extremely friendly. I appreciate that they have real candles which adds to the ambience and feel. The tiramisu is to die for! The other food and particularly the wine was great! Really charming, authentic Italian owned place.

We had been here once years ago and still remember how incredible the food and atmosphere here is. Finally managed to go back and were not disappointed. The design and decor (like a cave) creates a lovely intimate atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and approachable - they treat you like an old friend! They'll happily recommend dishes etc you'd like. Service is quick and good does come fairly quick. The food is some of the best Italian I've had - 3 days later I still can't stop thinking about it. If you're thinking of going here, definitely go!!

Love this place. Very homie both food and atmosphere.Lamp chops cooked to perfection. Tiramisu is also delicious Prices a bit on the higher side but ok. Gets quite loud on the weekend, but we enjoyed it very much. Also they have great lunch menu on weekdays until 5pm. Shnitzel is very good.

Incredible dining experience this evening with fantastic starters, mains and (don’t skip dessert!!) one of the tastiest panna cottas I’ve enjoyed. They had top tier service and were very attentive and thoughtful including service to my child.

My favourite restaurant in Angel. We usually come a couple times a month at least. The pizzas are amazing, everything I’ve tried has been great and the staff are really good with little ones too.

The food was divine, and very generous portions, I even saved some to take home. The cocktails was also fantastic. I would come back as the service was friendly and warm. They checked on us often and made jokes with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our night last night!

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in London. I would highly recommend it. The food is really good and it's not expensive. It's great value for money. I hosted a surprise 40th birthday lunch for my brother a few weeks ago, with around 20 guests in attendance. We were given the downstairs private area and they even gave a free meal to one of the kids. The food was awesome, the service was fantastic and it was all-around positive vibes. The team are super accommodating. They allowed us to hang a happy birthday sign and I forgot to buy candles so they gave me some. They also helped me cut the cake and then gave us containers to take the cake away. Whether you're looking for a local Italian, meal with friends or to host a private dinner party I'd highly recommend La Vita e Bella. I've eaten here for years and I've never been disappointed just delighted.

We booked a place for Valentine's evening in advance to celebrate both our first Valentine's in the city and our first week after moving to London. We arrived on time and found out the prices are about 3 times more than usual, without an option to order from the regular menu (40£ per person, not including drinks), but we decided to stay because we wanted to have a good time. About half an hour after ordering, our waitress realised she made a mistake and didn't enter our order. Still, we said it's OK and decided to wait. We waited another 30 minutes, receiving only water, no one offered us wine, bread, another starter or anything other than water during this time we were waiting. So after an hour of waiting, our waitress said we will get compensation in the end, but we were too hungry already to enjoy the meal, so we decided to leave. They did apologize many times, but it was too late...

Wow what a wonderful meal celebrating our time on London! The food was incredible and the staff were amazing definitely recommend! As Mario said “I’ll be back!”

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at La Vita é Bella. Olives were very fresh. Pepperoni pizza and the glass of Nero D’Avola was excellent. What stood out even more than that was the hospitality. As a solo traveler it can be intimidating to dine alone. The staff at La Vita é Bella made me feel like I was being welcomed into their home from the moment I walked through the door. They were all very friendly, gave me a nice table near the window for optimal people watching (vs sticking me somewhere uncomfortable and out of the way), and checked in on me regularly. It was such a contrast in the best way possible from other solo dining experiences I have had. This restaurant is a gem. I would enthusiastically recommend and will be returning when I’m in the neighborhood.

Fundamentally, the name is beautiful and also Italian. one star is even too much to avoid. more than the restaurant, totally inadequate to represent with excessive and unmotivated autism a country known for varied excellence and which has always distinguished itself in the world and from the world throughout the history of nations. For this reason I would consider the attempt to appear to be desperate because of the staff who manage the place, who have nothing Italian about them other than the tragicomic connotation and the audacious effrontery of aiming to present themselves to the customer as Italian. I do not recommend humanly and professionally. Vulgarity and mediocrity reign supreme in a miserable attempt to pass themselves off as good people. An experience to forget.

I like to look at pictures and reviews beforehand and they did not do enough justice for this place. The cute cave feel with Italian decor was definitely IG material. The owners welcomed us in immediately and you can tell that they loved their restaurant and wanted to share their passion for food. They have an awesome lunch deal 3 for £20 before 5pm. Appetizers we got the mozzarella sticks and calamari. They were light and crunchy. Main entree, seafood linguini and pepperoni pizza. Both were so good but we couldn’t finish it. We would have taken to go but were going to a concert after. The owner showed off his pizza tossing skills and taught me how he made the pepperoni from scratch. I also told them I love spicy so I got grounded red chili pepper, fresh red chili pepper and red chili pepper oil. I was in heaven. We could not fit 2 desserts in our stomach but shared a bishoff cheesecake. The dinner staff was rolling and were they just happy to be there. They were as friendly as the owners and you can tell they loved working there, that’s rare these days. There was also a lady there that told us she’s there once a week for the past 14 years. My husband and I are definitely coming back.

This place does not get the recognition it deserves. Absolutely amazing pizza from here, the owner is very friendly and so genuine he will greet you like a true Italian gentleman. This goes a very long way and he is passionate about his art in cooking that he is very good at. The taste of the pizza was 7 star. Truly sensational thankyou guys I will be coming back to enjoy again. Chow for now!!

Fantastic restaurant we stumbled upon. Despite being super busy the managed to seat us and get us in and out within 40 mins as we had plans later in the evening. The food was fantastic and the service was second to none. The coffee was actually some of the nicest I've had in London too. Well priced and nice atmosphere.

By far the best Italian restaurant we've visited on our trip to London! We definitely come back.

We booked a table for 12, including a 8m old baby. We showed up on time, and they only had 1 table for 6 ppl available. They said the table next to us was going to leave in 10mins. (though we did point out that they were still having their main courses, they told us not to worry) We ended up waiting 45mins before we could all sit down, and they made us split up and sit at 2 different tables. It was a end of year + family dinner so we didn't want to make a fuss, also understanding that the staff were trying their best, but the whole point of having a reservation is to make sure this doesn't happen no? The management team should be on top of this. At the end of the dinner we asked if they could compensate on the inconvenience caused (waiting with a 8m old baby isn't easy) and they said there was nothing they could do. ABSOLUTELY nothing. Which is striking, given usually at restaurants if they mess up something they come up and perhaps take your dessert off, just as a gesture. These guys said "well as you can see we are busy". In the end, they handed us a bottle of sparkling, worth £10, and said this is the most they can do. It's really not about the £ but more about the fact that they didn't seem to care that we made a reservation, and made us wait 45mins. The serving staff were lovely, but management needs to get their s*it together.

I was extremely disappointed by the lack of space as we were literally climbing over each other to go to the toilet. The problem was that the restaurant,because it was Christmas crammed more tables and chairs in to accommodate more people,but it was in fact extremely unpractical,it took everybody at the larger party tables a long time just to get out of their spaces as we had to wait for everyone else to move in order to get out. There was also no provision for coats and bags so ever time someone behind got up bags and coats were knocked to the floor ..I was so close to a couple they squeezed in I felt I was on their lap . The whole situation was appalling....has deterred me from eating out at Christmas ever again......such a shame as food was good.

Brilliant food and a lovely small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We both had the chargrilled asparagus and artichoke salad from the special board, it was outstanding. For mains we both had pizza, I had the ham and mushroom and my Mrs had a plant based one. Absolutely delicious obviously top quality ingredients. I finished off with tiramisu which was really good. The staff were all fantastic which was the icing on the cake. Thank you Well worth a visit.

I am updating my review as this place has changed, it used to be good and now, disappointing, unfortunately. 1st disappointment: It used to have a spaceous beautiful area at the back, but now, there is a wall. 2nd disappointment: The quality food is very poor: we ordered a caesar salad and we were served some lettuce with a plain piece of chicken. Also, the seafood rice, had a bad wine taste. They said that it’s the same chef, but not even possible. 3rd disappointment: It is much more expensive. The staff are nice, but it’s not worth it for what you have.

Ieri sera mi é arrivata la pasta, ancora calda, quindi non era un problema di tarda consegna, ma la pasta l’ho buttata e ho ordinato altro, ho speso circa 25€ e non ho mangiato, io non ho mai buttato il cibo anche se mal preparato, ma questa volta veramente, la pasta aveva tutti altri gusti ma tranne pasta,

do una stella perché zero non è possibile metterlo , ho preso una pasta che sembrava pasta modellabile e una pizza che era così secca che sembrava crackers . Non dico che dovete chiudere, ma di prendere in considerazione l’opzione . Ps: aveva ragione Checco Zalone dicendo :” non si nomina l’Italia invano …. vichinghi “, mi servirebbe una scala e un cacciavite per togliervi l’insegna contenente simbolo d’Italia . Buona serata .

I am a very picky customer and pretty fussy when it comes to food and serving, but this place certainly exceeds my expectations! The food was unbelievably good, perfect I could say! The best Italian restaurant I have eaten in in London. The food is always cooked fresh and the portions are so generous. The seafood is fresh and not frozen like many other restaurants. The staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are looked after.

The food and service was absolutely brilliant! We booked this restaurant to bring our families together for my boyfriend’s 30th. They placed us in a great area for a large party and the pizza chef was brilliant with my nephews (who are 3 and 5), giving them a mini lesson in making pizza to keep them entertained! They were accommodating in letting us decorate the tables to make it a bit more special too. Not to mention the food was delicious and great value! Will definitely be back!

Been here a couple of times, really nice restaurant, super cute. The food is really good, everything we've tried has been beautiful. The only thing I would say could be a little different, is to have the music turned down just a tiny bit as it was quite loud where we sat which made it quite painful when having a conversation. Everything else 👌

Me and my partner been coming to La Vita é Bella for couple of years now and this is our favourite restaurant by far! Keeping in mind we spend 60 minutes travelling here, it's absolutely been worth it every single time! Mustafa and his team always make sure all the customers are well looked after. The service is second to none, everyone is friendly and very welcoming. Food is consistently amazing and the atmosphere really make you feel like your a part of family here! Let's not forget about Roberto who always creates the best pizzas I've ever eaten! I really cannot recommend this place enough!

Terrible customer service. I ordered from uber eats wild mushroom tagliatelle and instead got risotto. I waited over an hour to get my order and the customer service just suggested to get a refund from uber eats. The person also hung up call in the middle of a conversation when I expressed disappointment. This is absolutely disappointing customer service. Wouldn't recommend.

Situated just off the main road in islington. Seating upstairs and downstairs. Lunch menu 2 course 15.95. Had portobello mushrooms, quite filling and fish and chips. Two glasses of house wine. Cost £72 for 2, service charge of 12.5%. Relaxing atmosphere and not too busy.

Absolute gem of Islington, authentic italian food and family run. La Vitta Bella offers a wide menu so you'll find something you'll love even if you're a fussy eater. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. The staff is always polite and attentive. I stumbled across this place 3 months ago and I'm already on my 6th visit and can't wait for the next one.

My son and girlfriend always rave about this restaurant in Islington. And at last we were able to join them. Quite frankly it doesn't get any better than this. Great traditional Italian food, served by highly efficient and friendly staff, and pleasant surprise when the bill came too, such great value for money. I'm sure now when in London we will make special trips to come here.

Outstanding service, excellent meal, wait staff is amazing. I ordered the veal schnitzel, and I don’t know if it was some kind of magic that the chef did to make the meal so delicious, or the people at the table next to us telling everyone within earshot that they were vegan. My husband and I were on vacation and visiting London for a few days, and we were just wandering around the area near our hotel and stumbled upon this sweet little gem. The food was fabulous, and the drinks were delicious. I was on a pina colada kick and they humbly obliged my request. It is very small and cozy, so be prepared to be close to the other patrons of the restaurant. I really wanted a window seat, but that’s popular with the locals so it tends to get picked fast and is never open. There’s an outdoor seating option but it was chilly(in July!) so we chose inside. Which was good because at some point it started raining. There’s only two bathrooms downstairs at the back of the restaurant, so you may need to wait if it’s crowded. We met the owner and his wife and they were so gracious with their hospitality. Constantly checking in us and making sure we always had our drinks full and any need was met. I would absolutely recommend going here if you are interested in a great experience and even better food.

Been here a few times and both times were excellent. First time we got pasta. This time we went for a lamb dish and chicken dish. We were so eager we started eating before taking the pictures! They always have lovely staff. We came in on a Saturday around 8 and managed to get a table. It was a bit loud but there are tables downstairs which seemed quieter when I went down for the toilet.

Really nice traditional Italian food at fair prices. The service was great and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was brilliant and the portion sizes were just right.

Friendly, efficient, reasonable prices and above all tasty Italian fare. The Manager is first rate, the pizza chef bent over backwards to accommodate my lactose intolerance and we all enjoyed our meals. My wife had aubergine parmigiana, my daughter lasagne preceded by deep-fried squid. Highly recommended. There are lots of restaurants in the area so choosing is difficult and a bit of a lottery. This trattoria will not disappoint. Charming decor.

In my friend opinion his bufala pizza was amazing in my opinion my 4 formaggi was dried due to the goat cheese wich I would avoid. But Georgian waiter was beautiful and kind and made us fall in love than 5 stars. We probably will come back for him. ❤️ 😂
