The steak here is to die for the best I’ve had in a long time. Service and food was exceptional We went with our grandchildren just before valentines as a treat, they had pizza and loved it , the staff boxed what was left to take home. I throughly recommend

Absolutely amazing meal from start to finish. Staff were all young and very attentive and friendly. Made us feel really welcome even though it was very busy and they were rushed off their feet!! We came for a pre birthday/anniversary dinner. Would definitely recommend and come again when we’re next in the area

Tasty food at a reasonable price. Potato skins starter were not as expected but very tasty; more like roast potatoes than crispy skins. Garlic mushroom starter was excellent and a large portion. Risotto was fantastic and pizzas and garlic bread were also very good. Desserts were a very mixed bag - high scores for the banoffee pie, but the Semifreddo was very poor. Can’t really complain though when the total bill came to less than £60 - you don’t get that very often these days!

Food wasn't great; I had the barbecue chicken pizza which was lacklustre as the base was mediocre, being basically soft and not crispy or thick. Others in my group had the chicken kiev which was a bit bland and had some sauce in a genie cup. Best item was the chips, which weren't my preferred style but other members liked it. Obviously not an authentic italian restaurant after travelling home from newcastle. As an italian myself, this wasn't anything special or 'amazing' as other reviews said.

Nice atmosphere, Italian music and food, good service. It's a pity that it's impossible to eat everything :)

A Mazing … absolutely amazing. I am fussy and it was one of the best meals I have had for a long time. King prawn starter was huge, fresh prawns with garlic sauce mmmmmm Then a chicken Al forno pasta dish which was very tasty, portions very generous , service perfect , would highly recommend .

Absolutely unreal food and service from start to finish. Good freshly cooked and piping hot. Altered as requested on a couple of meals. We were running slightly late which was not a problem even though it was a Saturday night and very busy. Second time here and won’t be the last.

Been 2 times now with family... we live in morecambe and we have taken our grandchildren twice..also our grandson who is 6 chose this place for his birthday meal..

Dined with friends and had booked a few hours earlier. Young staff all very attentive and friendly :) drinks arrived quickly and order taken promptly too. We all had starters, mains and puds - all enjoyed these, good portion sizes and value for money. Would visit again for a reliable and affordable meal out in Richmond!

Booked same day for 7pm , no problem booking table , arrived @ 6.50pm , reservation not checked just asked to follow a waiter , table was inside the main restaurant , male bearded waiter basically dropped the menu's on the table , took one glass and cutlery off the table and walked away , a female waitress took our drink order , Drinks arrived , my Moretti was flat , we were asked 3 times within 10 mins of sitting down do we want to order by 3 different waitresses , eventually we did , the starters arrived and all were fresh and tasty , we waited for our mains , during this time the waiters / waitress were arguing with themselves as wrong food was going to wrong tables , our order went back to the passé and sat there for about 10 mins , eventually we got our , my was bordering on warm , but I accepted it , it tasted nice but i asked for linguine and got spaghetti , My wife pizza she said was nice , but on par with the one's she gets from Lidl , My niece's chicken pasta was plentiful , but she said it lacked taste , the lighting was to bright , no background music , we left after paying £65 , I said thankyou twice whilst leaving , but not acknowledged , was hoping for better .

Lovely staff, clean and well spaced out inside. The food unfortunately was average. A bit bland and forgettable with nothing we really loved. It felt a bit like, dare I say it, someone nipped to tesco for the ingredients. There are definitely better options for taste and quality but the staff were kind and attentive.

Amazing service and so helpful and could adapt every meal to help with dietary requirements. We were a very large party and the whole experience was impeccable. This is how to serve delicious food with the customers needs fully met! Phenomenal! 5++++ stars

My daughter and I visited here after being recommended to by our AirB&B host. We didn’t need to book and managed to get a cosy table easily at around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. The place was very busy with families and couples. The menu was extensive, for starters we chose, Bruschetta which we added Parma ham to and a delicious Caprese salad that was only missing fresh basil for me. We couldn’t decide what to have for our mains so we got two to share. Chicken Kiev pizza which was to die for very very tasty and moreish. Very light and crispy base. The second main was salmon tagliatelle which was also delicious and had a lovely thick creamy tomato sauce and lots of big chunks of succulent salmon. We had wanted to try a dessert but we were just too full. All the staff were very attentive and welcoming and it was evident that they have many retuning customers which I’ve think is a good sign. If I’m in this area again I would defiantly go back to eat!!

Visited twice whilst in Richmond for a week. The Calzone was amazing and the Capra pizza also super. Service rapid and great value

I was very impressed that all pasta and pizza dishes could be provided as gluten free. The pizza I had was freshly made gluten free base with tiger prawns, peppers, onion , mozzarella cheese and tomato. I requested pineapple as an additional topping. It was delicious. I will be back for more.

We booked and visited for an evening meal. Service was good and my wife loved the lasagne. The sauce on the spare ribs was very nice. But, I ordered the Tomato Garlic bread, leaving half of it as it was almost tasteless. It could be there was no garlic on it as I couldn’t taste any. Linguine Bronzino was okay. My wife loved it, I was under whelmed. Can’t win them all.

Beautiful meal here last night. They have a great menu with some fabulous food listed. We opted for a mixed fish platter and bread and olives to start. Totally amazing with perfectly cooked sea bass, mussels, prawns, scallops and squid. My partner had lovely lamb shank with meat falling off the bone and I had chicken and prawn spaghetti. So tasty. No room for dessert as we were stuffed. Very reasonable price, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. Thank you

Now see the food was top notch and the place in general was lovely however the whole experience had a dampener in the form of the waiting staff, now I know these young girls probably have better things to do than wait on a table of 7 celebrating 40 years of British marriage but they could have forced a smile now and then! Luckily 40 years of marriage doesn't come without its fair share of ups and downs so I guess it's quite fitting in a way 🤣my parents are still married so all is well in a "big picture" kind of way but look ladies (young waitresses) it wouldn't kill you to whack a smile on your dial now and then!!!

Avoid. We are staying in Richmond at a local hotel therefore no idea of the area it’s a Wednesday evening so no where really busy. We thought we would try here as it looks lovely. Service. Couldnt fault it to be honest. Staff attentive and helpful, wasn’t waiting about for drinks etc or to order Food. I had a chicken dish which was really a bright yellow colour rather than creamy which wasn’t as I expected. Taste was ok but the salad was wilted and old. He had lamb shank with veg. The veg was hard and he described it as being a crap all inclusive standard and the taste was zero. The onion rings side was greasy with undercooked onion again with wilted salad. The best side was the garlic bread at £4! Beer was standard. So £55 wasn’t well spent. We did tell the waitress and she offered for the manager to speak to us but we just paid the bill and left and certainly would not return or recommend as I didn’t want to embarrass anyone. Seems plenty of other places to eat in the area so this one is to avoid!

Don't expect all ingredients listed on the menu. Pizza and pasta ok but other meals can be very hit and miss. Also limp soggy salad leaves are really not very appealing. When I said something to the manager about my meal, he tried to embarrass me by shouting my complaint at the chef. He didn't succeed. It served no purpose and was petty.

Awful service and food very average, eat somewhere else. It felt like, well if you don’t like it other tourists will be here tomorrow. Stay clear

Doing the Coast to Coast walk, staying in Richmond , recommended by my B&B. The svice and the food were outstanding . Had a parma ham pizza which was excellent. If I lived in the area this place would become my go to Italian restaurant.

I dined at La Piazza with as part of a walking party totalling 18 people. We were all seated together which was appreciated. In spite of our party size the service was good with our food arriving together. My cannelloni was really tasty, and the dining experience was very enjoyable. Recommended.

My wife and I always enjoy visiting La Piazza. Last visit we went with a couple of friends and the time before with my brother and his wife for a special anniversary meal. A meal at La Piazza is always good whatever the reason for going. We particularly enjoy it if we are tired and pop in on the way home from babysitting or after a holiday. it's the perfect spot. Lovely food, no hassle, top service and great value.

Husband had salmon pasta and loved it. I had a pizza- unfortunately it was extremely greesy and I couldn't eat it. Its a shame as I've heard great things about this. Service was okay but we were not asked about the meal was otherwise I would've mentioned it. We were served by about 3 people throughout the meal- 2 women who were nice however the one man who served us was just plain rude. Didn't give eye contact and just gave off the impression he did not want to be there.

Had food outside was lovely, gorgeous on summer night outside, patè was lovely change to my usual prawn cocktail,,,rissoto is large filling portions

Don't be fooled by the large size of this restaurant; it's ability to serve up a wide choice of hot, tasty food with swift and attentive service is impressive. The portion sizes are generous, particularly given the modest prices. Recommended!

After finding metal pieces (like from a Brillo pad) in my Salmon pasta and the waiter being informed, we just didn’t feel we got the kind of apology you should expect. Though the waiter who took away my plate was sorry and said we wouldn’t have to pay for my meal (I had hardly eaten half of it) When we were presented with the bill, my main was still on it. After reminding the waiter that we shouldn’t be charged, and it just sullenly being brought back with said main price off it and no further apology, my husband started to get frustrated. Metal pieces were in my food after all and I could have eaten them. He asked for a manager. When the manager arrived, he then called my husband a liar, I am not condoning my husband then shouting across the restaurant to inform everyone of what happened (I was deeply embarrassed) but the manager showed no remorse and actually said “go on then” to my husband. Not the service we expect…go to Capri where the old Manager has now gone too and you may get a manager who knows about customer service. Such a shame as the restaurant environment is spot on, just check what you are eating.

Another beautiful tasty meal for date night. Service was a little all over the place which was a shame.

Pizza seems to be made using bought in bases, the garlic bread lacked any butter or oil and most of the food seemed to be microwaved. Decor could do with an update, the music could be turned down a bit, but friendly staff and service.

We have visited twice in two days, all staffs where very attentive, food amazing, as a party of 12, we all got our food together, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
