This is a unique local cafe. Fran is an excellent, authentic Italian cook. Food is amazing, large portions and takeaways available. If you haven't tried it, you really must. Great atmosphere and good value for money.

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Swansea. They are serving proper Italian pasta made with real Italian ingredients. We eat there every time we come to town with work. They also sell goodies to take home: pasta, sauces, panetone, coffee, pancetta, cheese, etc.

Which finally had a chance to try it Staying In not just for Delivery. ...and tell you what ! - Never had such a FABULOUS experience of that cuisine in Wales! 🇮🇹🍝💚💟❤️ Soft and partly Al dente pastas in delicious sauces, with fantastics ingredients and fabulous quality products. Cannelloni with spinach and ricotta cheese in magnificent tomato 🍅 sauces have stolen my heart totally. There is a deli shop on site with all the Best what Italian market of grocery products got to offer.👌 Owners are totally lovely people with happy to tell you lots of interesting stories about Italy and cousine itself. OHhhh! And I have to add that prices are incredibly low! True bargain! This place is a 💎 of Swansea! 💚🤍♥️

I absolutely love this place... today I bought a selection on canoli.. they were absolutely delicious.. highly recommended them... the little shop is stocked full of authentic Italian produce.. I always buy my 00 flour here to make fresh pasta... so happy it still open in these crazy times...

I love this little place. The owners are so lovely and friendly and made you feel super relaxed. I didn't feel rushed. Felt like I was at home. I went in to eye up the chocolates and ended up purchasing a treat. They also sell meats too. Will be back soon

If you are visiting Swansea, or are a local who has yet to discover it, I highly recommend passing by La Parmigiana.

This is the best italian restaurant we’ve been in UK. The food is delicious, quite well served in a traditional Italian way of cooking. The service is perfect and the they will make you feel happy and comfortable. I wish have found this place earlier…..Grazie Mille Francesca e famiglie!!!

Absolutely delighted with a delivery of a Birthday dinner to my Auntie, who we have not been able to see since last year and we miss her so very much! We can't go out to eat with her, but we could have delicious food sent to her, so we did with La Parmigiana! We were not disappointed, she totally loved her Antipasti platter, with Mozzarella and Tomato, Chocolate Cannelloni and San Pellegrino, saying it was delicious and looked beautiful! Thanks so much to the restaurant and delivery staff, who also sang Happy Birthday to her on our behalf!! Lush! Highly recommending this very lovely Italian!

Birthday Meal today and a visit to La Parmigiana would have been on the cards , But its lockdown. So its an online order which is their way of coping in this situation.The website is easy to manage and it has the option to order days in advance and to select a timespot for home delivery - brilliant. Good selection of food ,we had a starter of Antipasto for 2 -absolutely amazing.For Mains we had Lasagne and Bolognese, these are not your run of the mill presentations but are in a class of their own and the best we have ever tasted. Then dessert which included Tiramisu - we couldn't go wrong it was fabulous. A restaurant you could easily ignore if you passed it but don't be deceived it is fantastic and well worth a visit. You will have to book though. Don't wait for the lockdown to end log on to the website and book a meal, deliver service is great, selection is good and the meal will be fabulous don't miss it.

My 84 year old Mum was wasting away in hospital and living on the other side of the country I was flummoxed how I could help get her a decent meal. I called the restaurant and the most delightful lady called Francesca said she would help me out. She provided a beautifully presented meal of garlic bread, lasagne, salad and a coffee latte. It arrived hot and Mum said it was as tasty as the meal she had sitting under the Rialto Bridge in Venice!!!! So take a bow Francesca you are an angel and I cannot thank you enough for going that extra mile. I shall definitely be coming to your place when I am next down in Swansea!!! Extremely good value for money too!!!!!!

This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The staff and decor were friendly from the outset and the food choices excellent. Fixed price 3 course multiple menu option is a great style of eating and the fact it has no alcohol licence only adds to it as you are able to take your own wine etc with no corkage charge. The food was very tasty and had a great fresh feel about it. Would highly recommend the sea bass cooked in foil as a main course as it is superb. Have heard great things about their lunchtime menu also, so will be giving that a try next. Well worth a visit and you can top up on your Italian foodstuff shopping while you are there.

Took my wife for a light lunch today. This place is a gem. Really hospitable service and feeling when you in there. The coffee is really good equally the food is fresh and made to order. So you will not be disappointed.

A small rustic restaurant where you bring your own alcohol and there’s no charge for corkage. A set menu that changes very regularly. There is a choice of four meals for starters and mains. We both had swordfish starters cooked in pecorino cheese with raisins and a helping of salad. We had olives and garlic bread as an aperitif. For mains we had veal on the bone with salad roast potatoes and onions. Our desserts were a raspberry sorbet and a trifle. Service was good and there was no rushing courses. Recommend it if you want good quality food at a reasonable price too.

Very reasonable prices (lunch menu) mainly pasta made by an authentic ltalian chef. Food was tasty and would go there again. Parking bad around the area as mainly residents parking. Check opening times.

Vsited for lunch with my wife on Friday, Ante pasta starter was a variedselection of cheeses and salamis. Beutifully crusty bread and good portion of olioves and tomatoes. Th lasagne was just incredibly good, So very tasty. A mascopone based desert which was wonderful

Well where to start first of all the food I received was nothing like the photos online. My starter consisted of 3 small prawns with bits of chilli on the plate on a bed of rocket with 1 small tomatoe cut in half!!main course was veal thinly sliced 2 roast potatoes few green beans and desert of lemoncello that was the best part all in all set meal £25. I am gobsmacked to think they can possibly charge that much for such small portions it was nothing like an Italian restaurant nothing short of daylight or night time robbery should have been half that price admittedly you could bring your own alcohol or not but that is beside the point. I shall definitely not go back there.

I didn't hate it but didn't think it was value for money too expensive and small portions. Asked if I could have ice with my own drink was told they dont have any!!!!

We had yet another great time at this lovely restaurant. The table was ours for the night so there was no need to rush. We brought our own drinks and there's no corkage charge as found in other places. We all had different meals for each of the three courses and were all pleased with our choices. Wonderful food in a relaxed place. We will certainly be returning again but make sure you book ahead since it is so popular.

I hesitate to share this review but (out of sheer altruism) I must say that this restaurant is just brilliant. My hesitation comes from the fact that it's small and if I recommend it, I might not get a table here. We were a small family party and made our restaurant booking just at the beginning of the evening, so we were lucky to get a table. When we arrived, it was buzzing. The food was sublime - I'm used to good food as I live in France. What made this restaurant special was not only the excellent food but the friendliness of the staff and the lovely atmosphere. Very highly recommended.

Superb set meal in a cosy restaurant. Really took me back to our recent trip to Rome. Bring your own with no corkage makes for really good value. Highly recommended but make sure you book, it's a small place.

We enjoyed a three course meal for £25 a head. A huge bonus is that the restaurant is BYO. The food was enjoyable but both of us really struggled with how much garlic was in it and this tainted our evening after leaving the restaurant, and indeed the following morning. We would return though.

This is a little gem tucked away in a side street, The food is great, I thought I'd had the best pasta in a little restaurant in Rome , but the pasta I had in La Parmigiana was much better

This small restaurant doesn't look like much from the street and we only went there because of write ups here. It did not disappoint with a delicious range of dishes we went through the menu as each of us had different choices. Each were beautifully presented and had delicious Italian flavours. My highlight was the tiramasu which I only just had room for. I like having bring your own booze and the service was just right. Definitely recommend.

Visited this lovely Italian restaurant for an evening meal in late August just after they had reopened after a refurbishment. The new decor hasn’t spoilt the very relaxed atmosphere. The quirky idea of not having a written menu on the table, with Francesca reading from her hand written aide memoire, and expanding on the recipes as only an Italian could do, makes the anticipation of what is to arrive at your table all the more exciting.

So cozy and friendly!! And proper homemade food! Delicious...

Went to La Parmigiana as a group of 11 work colleagues to welcome a new member of staff.

Such a shame - this restaurant has been great but sadly needs to take much more seriously when customers highlight specific allergen issues. The consequences can be very severe if not. I am sure though lessons have been learned.

A group of us regularly eat at La Parmigiana. Last night was our first visit since the refurbishment. WOW! What a transformation They’ve done a great job!

Went there for lunch recently after their Summer close down and redecoration. Che Max is a s good as ever and Francesca produces a wonderful ante pasta

Lovely food and coffee. The evening meals are superb and great value for money. It's a BYO restaurant (Bring your own) and I've never been charged corkage. The table is yours for the whole evening which makes it a great venue for a group of people wanting a pleasant meal together. Book early to avoid disappointment. LOVE THIS PLACE !

Hidden gem. This place is absolutely great, the staff are friendly and relaxed, and the food id delicious. Best risotto I've ever had, and lovely coffee. The deli counter is great as well. They could charge me double and I'd pay it

Had a fantastic meal in La Parmigana , it was a 50th Birthday we had the whole restaurant to ourselves and the staff worked very hard and made it an enjoyable evening for all. 😊

This is a hidden gem in the Swansea back-streets. Don't expect to read a menu, because you don't get one. The dishes available on the day are read out to you and you take your own wine with no corkage charge. At £25 a head for three courses it's a real bargain. The couvert is lovely with great quality olives and wonderful bread. I started with stuffed baby squid cooked to perfection and followed with a veal cutlet in a great sauce. There are some pasta favourites on offer as you would expect because this is real Italian food. Only open for limited hours so check it out and get your name down for a table you won't regret it.

I really don't want to say how good this little Italian is, it might get too busy for me to get a table!! Very small and intimate, you feel like one of the family and the food is fabulous, and you get to take your own wine so no problems with choice there! Will be back again very soon.
