Dear Management, I regret to inform you of my disappointing experience at your establishment on Saturday evening, During my recent visit, I encountered a waitress dressed in white who exhibited extremely poor manners. Her English proficiency was lacking, and she was engaging in personal phone conversations in a foreign language, neglecting her duties and being unattentive to customers. Additionally, she was bossy and handled glassware with her fingers instead of utilizing a carry tray. Furthermore, another staff member had untidy hair. Such lack of professionalism greatly detracted from my dining experience. I hope this feedback will prompt improvements in your service standards. Yours sincerely, Bailz smith

I went to have a meal yesterday at la lluna in muswel hill and i had Anca serve me she was amazing she had outstanding customer service and was extremely friendly. the food was also amazing so Will definitely be returning.

Good service, food was quite tasty however the fried aubergine was still quite slimy but apart from that the flavours are delicious. I recommend the dishes on my photos except the fried aubergine. - Jan 24

Have had a better experience before. So, we had salmon today and fish was undercooked. Very poor service from waitress in burgundy suit. Very disinterested in doing even the slightest bit of work today apart from when she decided to clean the mirror behind me whilst I was still eating (sigh!). Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

I regularly return to this restaurant and it's the perfect place for a date or to meet with friends. Love the atmosphere and quality of the food but it is quite pricey and that's what brings the star rating down.

Read good reviews about it here and managed to dine in for lunch with the familia. It did not fail. Lovely people and the food too. Lovely for a nice brunch.

Not bad at all, food is really good albeit pricey but it's not a place that you'd go every other week or so. It's really bustling at the weekend which adds to the experience, and obviously is testimony to its popularity. The menu is big so it helps if you're with others who have been there before.

We were there New Years Eve with family early in the evening. AS usual it was a wonderful experience but unfortunately there weren't enough staff on for such a busy night which was a problem 😕. We were asked if we were ready to leave and we were still waiting for some of our food to be served.!!! We asked for our dessert and the bill at same time ,bill came straight away then our dessert ,then the food we had cancelled earlier ......

Really lovely restaurant with very tasty food. All for of us are vegetarian (2 adults 2 kids) and there was loads to pick from. Really very good food. The cocktails were also delicious! Service was a bit hit and miss, they forgot one child's meal and his drinks but once we realised (as dishes came sporadically!) they made them for him. Desserts were good and the kids loved the churros and deep fried ice cream. I reserved a table but when we arrived that wasn't mentioned but they did get busy later so I'd recommend booking ahead.

Visited this place on different occasion and I must say the last experience clearly was not the best. Atmosphere is great and beautiful restaurant, however service is severely lacking of experience. We sat at our table for no less than 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order and our waitresses could be not be less disinterested and disengaging. We ordered two large glasses of wines and were served 2 regular. I did ask twice if those were large and were told it was, however, every table around us ordering large drinks had larger quantity than us. It is also common knowledge everywhere in hospitality what is small/regular or large. We ordered few plates, most of them were great, big downside for calamari and prawns. Tasteless and overcooked. Favourite was the courgette flower. Nobody checked how we were doing or if we needed anything else. When it came to getting our bill, it took 3 waitresses to finally get it over. The only person asking about our experience was the young waiter/runner taking our payment. Walked out very disappointed, no goodbye or thank you from anyone, not even the manager that literally was standing close to our table. Not sure we will bother coming back nor recommend.

Really nice dinner spot with good company. Staff was super helpful in recommending dishes. Everything was excellent. Cocktails was also yum! A bit pricy for the size of the the dishes, but overall was a nice evening out.

Amazing time spent at la lluna for my birthday, staff was attentive, food was perfect and we received a lovely birthday dessert on the house from the team. Thank you la lluna team !!

Very nice food Croquettes a little over cooked and the paella a tiny bit sloppier than preferred but the food was‘nice and tasty I must say (and with no disrespect ) it does dishearten me that many Spanish restaurants are NOT managed NOR staffed by Spanish speakers In this case the chef, owner and staff are all Turkish - so if you plan to visit in order to practise your Spanish vocabulary…. Don’t bother - because they are barely able to say Hola ! This said super friendly staff and very accommodating

This place is beautiful, clean, and rustic. The food is amazing. Not just simple joy, but this La Lluna breakfast is an "peak of lust." All tastes worked well on the plate. I asked hallumi instead of the ham. The staff is helpful. The food is absolutely not overpriced. Quality is on top. I love each minute and each bites! Unfortunately I think La Luna has really gone down hill. The ambience/atmosphere is not the same since they expanded the restaurant. The food was also of mixed quality. Finally it took us about 20 minutes to pay the bill.

I've never had a meal here where coming wasn't right. Cold food, off prawns etc. Staff always seem surprised and clueless. I've tried on 4 separate occasions at least a year apart hoping for improvements as friends say it's good. I honestly don't see it.

I had booked a table for 6pm for 6 people and were seated in a very dimly lit area towards the back of the restaurant. This was perfect. The place was quite empty but soon became full.The staff were very polite and professional in greeting us and gave us time in selecting our drinks and food choices. The menu was very extensive and a little overwhelming. We all chose 3 dishes each. The only negative comment is that the dishes didn't arrive at the same time. This was compensated in that when they did reach the table, they were beautifully presented and worth the wait. Each dish complimented each other in taste and there was plenty of it. The place became noisy with chatter and laughing, but this was nice. You could tell people were having a lovely time. The music played was very up beat and added to the very pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant was recommended by my daughter and her fiance and I will definitely be coming again. The chef and cooks did a fantastic job and should be complimented for their work. We'll done to all the staff, who worked hard to ensure such an enjoyable evening!

The food was delicious! Probably the best Spanish food I had. I really loved every single dish we got! The service although was average. They were friendly, but quite inattentive, that was a bit frustrating sometimes. When we finished our food they didn't ask as for any deserts and only after asking them a few times they brought us the menu to order dessert. Other than that I would visit again.

Having been on a number of occasions previously, we were hugely disappointed on this occasion. La lluna is not cheap and on this occasion the food was far from good overall. the Arroz Negro was too salty (drowned in salt), the pork belly clearly under cooked - tough and not melt-in-the-mouth as it should be and has been in the past. The tortilla was undercooked in the middle and too full! And the crema catalana was burnt and bitter. That said, the Chipirones were very good, as were the jamon de Teruel and Boquerones (diffcult to get those too wrong!). As an anniversary dinner - this was hugely disappointing.

A really great spot for delicious tapas and great service. Visited four times and each time has been great.

My family and friends celebrated my mum’s 80th birthday last month in this restaurant. We had an amazing time. A lovely lady called Berfim was my point of contact until the day of the celebration. She and her colleagues at La Lluna were fabulous and made my mum’s celebration a day to remember. We really appreciated everything they did for us, and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Atmosphere was ok, but waited 10 minutes to be given a menu. Food absolutely below average for a restaurant (you can make better at home) and I agree with other reviews that the staff was going around aimlessly with just a few tables occupied. I seemed to be ignored. All of the above, 3 tapas and a glass of wine for nearly £50! Not going back!

The service was wonderful, the staff professional and fast and the food was just wonderful. Added to that the atmosphere of the place is stunning and relaxed. Shout out to Olivia that welcomed us with a smiling face that made us feel at home she is professionally charming and lovely she made our experience special. We will come back soon for sure.

Been here many times, the food never disappoints! Courgette flowers are a must!! They had run out on my last visit as I arrived at 10:30pm, they still seated us for food which we was very grateful for and gave me another recommendation of these beauties in the picture (aubergine pancakes drizzled with honey) wow I will be ordering these again they were fantastic. Staff are very friendly. Relaxing, beautiful decor. Can’t wait to try the one at whetstone.

Very popular spot on the MH Broadway and for good reason. Sharing plates are very tasty although some seem pricey. Favorite includes the lamb cutlets and squid ink blackened rice dish. Best to book on weekends although we never had an issue for a couple walking in. Service is friendly and efficient. Lovely cocktails, look out for happy hour

Presentation is great but lacks flavour. The meat chops were so rare and full of fat, they apologised and made us another. The service was great and restaurant was lovely but I won’t be going there again as the food is not great, left the table unfulfilled and definitely overpriced for what you get. We had 5 tapas plates to share and a bottle of wine and paid just under £90

I like the vibe of this place. I get the vegan options, which is enough for me. Cocktails are delicious

The vegetarian croquettes, and the avocado/cucumber based starter, crispy pork belly were really tasty and nice. The place overall is not something I would go back to, nice decor, but it's really loud, and dark. I was literally having trouble seeing (the menu, the food, my partner) even though there was some lighting. Some of the food was really nice, but we got the tortilla 30 minutes later than everything else. I'm almost sure they simply forgot, because they came to us with "did you get your tortilla yet?". When It finally came, it was dry (even though the inside was a bit liquidy) and tasteless; it didn't look stale, I think it's just how it is. No photo of it, because we were so hungry waiting for it, we just gobbled it up. When the order contains a "meat-only" order, we would kind of expect to get the "side" with it too, so we can eat it together.

Great food accompanied by excellent service & that’s my grandchildren’s comments about their children’s meal, resulting in them pressurising me to get back here again soon. As for us adults we immersed ourselves in the aromas & tastes of our starters & tapas, which didn’t disappoint especially with the choice of wines. A very memorable meal that wasn’t just quantity but supported by real quality!

Billie was an absolute star the whole night along side the other waitresses, as a serial tequila shooter the timing on their check ups was absolutely on point! Cocktails were delicious aswell and although we didn’t get to try everything on the menu, the food was exceptionally well made and presented 10/10

Horrible red wine sangria - I took only 10% of the glass and ended up having a headache and no sleep for the rest of the night. 🤯🤯 The crispy pork belly is really good though. Some other dishes are a bit random, I guess that is modern & traditional. Patatas fritas are meh…

Went here some years ago and really enjoyed it so was happy when friends booked it for tonight. Happy to say it didn’t disappoint at all. Food was absolutely delicious and service was lovely. There was a good lively buzz in the restaurant that helped make it a good evening. Not too expensive for the amount of food we had. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Very overpriced food and drinks of below average quality. With added service charge, £18.50 for a Seafood Paella containing mainly rice and shells, hardly any seafood. £9 for bread and olives. £10 for a 175mm glass of house wine. There are far better places to eat in Muswell Hill. Best avoided.
