Had a lovely meal with excellent service from all the waiting staff, very polite and welcoming. Authentic restaurant pristine surroundings with a wonderful atmosphere. Very good and tasty food from the Polpettine to the Penne Principessa, The waiting staff is passionate on what they do, the interaction with customers is great without being to pressured, their knowledge of the food is next to none, as per authentic Italian flavour enjoy the banter from the staff, as their stories of the land they love. I don’t have any hesitations in recommending La Fiorentina, as I will be back on my next trip to Glasgow.

Found this local Italian restaurant on a visit to the Science Centre. Great value lunch and children's menu. Only a 20 minute walk from the centre. Excellent food and the Pizzas were ace. I'll come back when I can. A+++

Had a lunch date with my daughter here. The food was amazing. The stuffed mushrooms were the best I've had. The sauce on the lasagne was so full of flavour my taste buds are tingling thinking of it.

Thank you so much for last night. Hosting a group of 17 can't have been easy but we had such a great night. Cracking pizzas (I'm very picky) the bruschetta was phenomenal and I can thank the wonderful staff enough. A proper Italian restaurant.

Past this place en-route to hotel and decided to try it, we weren't disappointed it was warm and welcoming and a good choice on the menu scallops for me pate for her both very nice her main was a steak and it was very good and tender, I had lasagne also very nice accompanied with garlic bread both meals were served prompt and hot would defo recommend it Bars around it are rough to say the least so be warned. LOL Forgot pictures but lots on Google

This is still one of the best italian resteraunts in Scotland and I have eaten at a lot of them. This place cares a lot about the food and its customers. They really love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. Like so many others have said....enjoy

I am reluctant to give a 5 star review - which I would have given, had their food standards been consistent, but - since their most recent pizza, I cannot praise them too highly. As seen in the 1st most blurry picture (please excuse my old phone’s quality) the pizza was of excellent standard; thin and crisp base, fresh sugo, tasty mozzarella, decent crusts. Moving onto my most recent visit (when the 3 other pics were taken), the pizza was simply a disappointment. I could guess the mushrooms were tinned (could be wrong, but looking at the picture you may make up your own mind), the pizza was slightly undercooked, and overall didn’t taste anywhere near as good as it did during our first few visits during 2021. The tiramisù and bruschetta have been consistent, surprisingly enough, though the bruschetta’s portion size after 2021 has been reduced… We have not visited again since the quality of pizza stooped so low, but we do hope this was a one off, and we got unlucky that day. If the quality nowadays is similar to when we visited a couple years ago, I’d highly recommend! However I do have my reservations given our most recent visit. If you do decide to visit, best of luck and I hope you don’t receive the same pizza standard as we did recently (around March 2023). I have only knocked 1 star off a 5 star review purely for the recent pizza ‘quality’, if I were to return and receive the same bad pizza I’d have to give 1 or 2 stars unfortunately, as that standard of pizza for a supposedly authentic and quality Italian restaurant is unacceptable. Something extra to be noted: they do offer a reasonably priced set lunch deal (and possibly dinner if I remember correctly…) which has a great selection of meals to choose from! :)

Haven't been for a number of years but will return again in the new year. Food was decent, although a tad slow between starter and main course. A number of items looked to have been removed from the a la carte menu including the onion and tomato soups and pasta al forno which were good. We both enjoyed our lunch, although pasta was heavy on the garlic. Note from picture the bulb that should have been chopped. Nice atmosphere to sit, chill and chat. No rush to move. Restrooms were clean. Staff were attentive.

Well what can I say. This is a must restaurant that you have to pay a visit. Book up and enjoy a great dining experience. Best place I have dined in for years..👌👍

Lovely cosy restaurant, super 2-course lunch deal. I had spaghetti with chilli, garlic butter, followed by heavenly apple pie. My companions both had the pizza option, delish.

Me and my husband while on holiday in glasgow we decided to visit la fiorentina after reading so many good reviews. What a beautiful experience from start to finish, service was first class and the food to die for. Our waitress valentina was just amazing, thank you guys for the lovely night.

This place has been a favourite in our family, like forever. My mum & dad were born and bred in Plantation, so the area is dear to their hearts. I haven’t been in quite a while, but it was my daughter’s birthday and chose here for her birthday meal. I dined here recently with my daughter, her fiancé, their baby girl, and my other daughter, and although it’s under new ownership, it did not disappoint. Food is still amazing and good portion size, service is welcoming, professional, and friendly, nothing is too much for the staff, they go out their way for you, even when the place is busy. Thank you for another wonderful night!

Excellent place to eat! It's a little small for wheelchair users but we were moved to another area which was better. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was literally out of this world! A-maze-zing! Would highly reccomend.

Was in here tonight for the first time and it did not disappoint. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I had the seabass...wow!! The flavours were amazing. Finished off with a Belgian chocolate and pistachio cheesecake and a latte. Reasonably priced and next time i'm in Glasgow i'll definitely be eating here again

Good food, and somewhere you can sit and chat too while eating. Impressed with waiting staff too, esp one with ratios, piercings, (sorry didn’t get your name) has a great attitude, and made the meal a great experience.

Saturday lunchtime. Two courses for 13.50 and fantastic food. Lasagne is great as was calamari. My wife’s pasta was so good she was disappointed she could not finish it as the portion was generous.

Been here for 1st time in a few years and it's still amazing

The food here is good, our group got a variety of different meal types and all were happy. The best part of the restaurant was the staff though who all went above and beyond to entertain our one year old who had a great time. The blonde lady with tattoos on her hands deserves a special shout out (sorry didnt catch your name) with how she interacted with the table.

The glass of wine was so-so. The mushroom appetizer was excellent. We both had the lasagna. Being from the USA, it tasted more like an Italian version of a “Shepard a pie with noodles” than the normal lasagna like at home or like in Italy. The sauce was a brown sauce instead of red- but it was pretty good, and had a unique character to the place with a very local neighborhood vibe.

It’s one of the best restaurants I got in glasgow. Foods are little expensive but always good in taste. Its worth-full to pay more for such a delicious food. Atmosphere was really nice. You will feel relaxed and romantic with there candle night 🙂. Good place for the couple to visit. No doubt Service and behavior of staff is also great. Its my 3rd visit and i never disappointed with them.

The friendliest staffed restaurant in Glasgow! We were served by Michelle and Valentina on Wednesday night after spontaneously booking a table last minute. The level of service was incredible, everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The food tasted amazing, and we were given an extra slice of Garlic bread so that we could have 2 slices each, instead of the standard 3 slices that it comes with! We were also lucky enough to try the freshly made Cheesecake of the week which was incredible! & to top it all off we ended the night with a lovely amaretto, all thanks to Michelle and Valentina for being such accommodating and fabulous servers!

Fantastic restaurant with really exceptional service. The portions are generous and the price is fair. I took the meatballs starter and it was amazing For main I took tagliatelle with broccoli and Italian sausage. The broccoli was a bit overcooked to my taste but I didn't care because everything else was phenomenal

Best Italian in Glasgow authentic Tuscany right here in paisley road West

This place has been hear for years and we have only tryed it 4 weeks ago. What fools we were it is amazing food staff are first class they made a small mistake with my partners steak and sorted it out straight away with no problems we were very happy and will be back for certain. If you have never been I strongly recommend it.

The food was lovely. Quite refreshing after a vacation with a lot of mediocre food. I've been to Italy and the food is definitely up to standard. The service is good and sweet. I had dinner here twice, a pizza and spaghetti carbonara. The pizza was a great, traditional Italian pizza. The carbonara was rich and creamy. I definitely recommend eating here.

Great service staff, very quick to be sat and served, very generous serving sizes and incredibly good value for money. For two of us to have two courses each, drinks and leave a decent tip was under £30. Definitely recommend.

Popped in here for a quick Sunday dinner and tried their Sunday dinner meal deal. Two courses for £15. A great deal. We had the delicious meatballs to start and then I tried their Sunday roast, which despite the over the top portion of gravey, was a great feast. The family ethos was excellent and loved hearing everyone speaking in Italian. The service was very efficient and welcoming as well. Definitely be back again.

Really enjoyed the meal. We were a party of 7, all had various meals and everyone enjoyed it tremendously, we hope to go back before our stay in Glasgow is over. Recommended!

Stayed in Glasgow for a convention and saw this place went in on off chance and they managed to fit three of us in in what is an obviously busy and successful restaurant First impression as others said it’s traditional and very friendly especially Michelle who is such a credit to the place so friendly The food and wine is very reasonably priced considering the quality which was very impressive Spaghetti gamberoni fantastic minestrone soup chunky and delicious Will highly recommend and next year will pre book to make sure we get in

Popped in on a Friday with no reservation, no worries we were shown a table by the lovely waitress. Drinks were served quickly, order taken. I had pizza with goats cheese, Italian ham, sun-dried tomatoes and caramelised onions, it was awesome! My friend had the huge Spicy Calzone, very good too. The lovely staff, Isabella, Michelle, Antonio and Deianira were fantastic!! Grazie Mille

Great Italian restaurant on the southside of Glasgow. Food was amazing as expected and not to expensive either. £15.50 for 2 course's I had meatballs in a spicy sauce as my starter (highly recommended) then Lasagne and garlic bread as my main. An easy 10/10 for that beautiful food. If you have never been before then don't waste anymore time get yourself over there. Thank me later 😘

Tasty Italian restaurant food made by Italians. Carbonara was delicious. Beer was delicious. Limoncello spritz was massive.. waiters were really helpful and nice.

Good range of options on the menu, food we had was all tasty, nice friendly service, wine list a bit limited but didn't spoil the meal. Overall an enjoyable authentic Italian dining experience.
