My wife ordered birthday cupcakes from here. The website was easy to use. The cupcakes when collected looked exactly as they appeared on the website. They taste delicious too. Excellent range of delivery dates and quick turn around if needed. Collecting on the day couldn't have been easier. Everything was ready and well packed for transport. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Ladida cakes always look delicious and taste out of this world! I’ve used them several times for corporate celebrations and my colleagues always ask where the cakes are from and they rave about how tasty they are. Last week Beccy made a custom cake for us and we were blown away by the design. Not only did the cake look fantastic it tasted incredible. I couldn’t recommend Beccy more. Great to work with, a talented baker and creative genius!

My 6 year old granddaughter was invited to her friends birthday party at la de da cupcake co, I accompanied her. WOW what a place for a little girls party, The decor is pink and white all very girly. You walk through the restaurant into the party area where your table is, there is a member of staff allocated to your party. 10 little girls sat down and the young lady (apologies I did not get her name) explained they needed to wash their hands as they were going to ice some cupcakes. The girls were taken into the kitchen area and shown how the cupcakes were made, they came back to the table where the assistant helped them put on aprons, they were then given 4 cupcakes each. In front of them there were an assortment of sweeties to decorate the cakes as they wish. The cakes were put in boxes and set aside. A miniture afternoon tea was given to each girl, small sandwich, cake etc jelly or yoghurt and a drink. The assisistant then said they would play some games, the girls chose musical chairs, statues and bumps!!! The party was finished off with a mini disco. For an extra £5.00 per head the girls were given material bags with goodies. The little girl whose party it was said "this is the best party ever" says it all I think.

I came to La-Di-Da Cupcakes for them to make my daughters 21st birthday cake. I explained that I wanted a jewellery box to put a real diamond bangle into. I had asked for a white cake and for the theme to be diamonds, lots of sparkle , and bling !!!I also asked for it to be put onto a large cake board with Happy 21st written in pink icing on the board along with 21 mini cupcakes to be put around the board with pink icing and any sparkle they could add to match the cake. What a shock when I arrived to collect it the day before her birthday to find it was Cream ! ( I hate cream ) instead of white, there was no Sparkle on the cake what so ever, there was so Diamonds or glitter or bling so NOTHING !!! At this point I think I went into shock a bit really as I couldn't believe my eyes. Then I asked where the cupcakes were? They had forgotten, the cake lady then asked one of the girls if she had made any that day and the girl replied No ! Then they found some in a box probably from the day before or before then ! Don't worry she said they will only take me ten minutes please sit down and have a coffee. I was in shock and upset as I knew it was too late for me to get anything else so sat and waited with a little hope that this is where the sparkle would come into it !! Who was I trying to kid! They were done, the paper cases were loose on lots of them and the icing was just a pink NO Sparkle!!! And she had quashed them into little boxes so the icing was already coming off onto them. Basically it was the worse cake ever, but the reason I am wring this is so that no one else makes the mistake of going there and ordering any cakes for a special day because they listened to nothing I had asked them.I emailed the owner of the shop who I had first spoken to and explained exactly what I wanted and she had told me no problem we can do that, and the only email I got back was from her saying she would look into it and has not replied since !!! Because she obviously does not care, if it were my business the cake lady would have been sacked.

All we wanted was quick afternoon tea. What we got was a long, long wait. Our order was taken . . . . and then, twenty minutes later, - taken again. A further half an hour later than that, when our stomachs were commencing to think they'd been cast adrift, - we were served. The place was not busy, the six empty tables I counted were testament to that. There was nothing that needed special preparation. Why the wait?Whilst waiting we had plenty of time to observe the staff - all aged in their teens. Were there no adults around to direct operations? Said teens bustled backwards and forwards, doing it has to be said, very little. They occasionally clustered together, to discuss Wittgenstein? Quantum theory? Justin Beiber's sartorial elegance? Who knows? For sure they weren't making the tea and loading up the cupcakes for our order. The decor is a mixture of light pinks and green. Nausea inducing. I went with my wife for her sake, greater love hath no man . . . . But never, ever again.

I have been tempting to try out those cupcakes and have decided to attend the Afternoon tea. I was very disappointed as the sandwiches were a bit small and not enough filling. Also were a bit soggy. The cupcakes, nothing special, lots of icing, but the actual flavour of the cupcake let me down. The density of the cupcake was poor, I would guess this person uses a not very good quality of flour. Red velvet cupcake was too sweet as well.

Well, after my first visit for afternoon tea, which was very pleasant,I recommended it to my husband for a tea and cake stop. It was very disappointing second time around. The tables were all dirty so we picked the least messiest and waited.....and waited.....So I went up to the counter to place an order, the young girl said "it's quicker if you order here" but surely it should be table service? Our order took a good ten minutes, with the cupcakes taking another five minutes? There were queues at the counter but the young girls were all out the back, there seemed to be plenty of staff around, but not doing anything.......There were tables to clean, people to serve and cakes to replenish- but nothing from the staff. It was SO frustrating to watch, I felt myself getting stressed . My husband and I both come from a retail background and were appalled by the lack of supervision or motivation of the staff. We would love to support local businesses and not these huge coffee shop chains but I cannot see myself visiting here again. It's such a shame because the cakes are lovely and we need places like this in our towns. They need a visit from Mary Portas..........

My parents live near Camberley so my husband and I popped in with them for tea and cake. Amazed at the choice of cakes on offer - cupcakes as well as other home-made cakes. Of course we all had to try each others' and I can only say we all found them delicious. Went down a treat with tea (enough for two cups each), and I liked the chintzy china and the whole pink/cupcake-themed decor. Take the point from other reviewers that it's a big space with high ceilings, but we quite liked the fact that there was space around our table so we weren't squashed in (eg there was a group having afternoon tea near the children's area but it felt quite separate so it was good that there was plenty of space for everyone). Really enjoyed our visit, loved the cupcakes, so looking forward to going back.

I am not keen in giving independent businesses poor reviews but this place could be really good but it isn't. Granted I was there on a Saturday, so I have not seen what it is like during the normal weekday trade. For starters the cafe is in a huge retail space so it struggles to feel anything other than cavernous and unwelcoming. The tables and furniture are spaced out (good for prams) but everything feels lost in the space despite trying the cath kidston/shabby chic look it simply doesn't work in a huge white washed warehouse. The kitchen preparation area is slightly screened off by a stack of shelves but just looks messy and unprofessional rather than interesting. There was a children's party going on in the far corner, again slightly round the corner from the rest of the shop. I have kids so my objection is not the children, but I am fairly sure that other customers would not enjoy having their tea and catch up to the tunes of YMCA and a game of what sounded like musical chairs. Whilst girls' birthday parties (decorating cakes etc) must be good business, they really should think about partitioning off some of the huge space properly so it doesn't detract from other custom. My tea and cake were fine. Whilst the staff were not rude, the staff I saw were all really young and lacked any presence, but perhaps this is the Saturday staff. On a positive note, the cupcakes look fantastic and are well priced. There seemed to be a good take-out trade, but in my view it is feel of the place which lets itself down. I would return to buy cupcakes for a special occasion but not for a relaxing cuppa.

I never write up reviews and defineately don't expect something to be all good - especially as a small business owner myself but this was a shocker. We went here for a cake on my our daughters birthday before a trip to the cinema. The table was dirty and we had to ask it to be cleaned. We'd picked that table as the others had dirty cups on them but the young shop assistants were chatting at the till when we came in. The order came in very slow stages with other people being given the same things we had ordered in the meantime. I'd finished my tea by the time the cake actually came, the tea cup was dirty and my children didn't finish their cupcakes as they were "too sickly". Whilst we're were waiting for our order the same counter staff went to chat to the others out the back! One was even drinking a costa drink there there a no-no in a kitchen but not a good ad for your own produce. I thought maybe everyone was acting up and the boss wasn't in but then she appeared too. What a shame, we won't be back and would advise you not to waste your money and go somewhere else.

I had heard great things about this place so was really excited to take my little boy there. At 2 minutes to 10 I popped my head around the door to ask what time they opened. Somebody right at the back of the shop yelled, "Ten!" at me. It was made clear that we couldn't come in so we hovered outside for the two minutes it took for them to put their sign out then we went back in.I didn't have any glasses with me (had gone into Camberley to buy new glasses) so was squinting to see the menu on the wall behind the counter but the girl behind the counter just stared at me with her arms folded. I felt a bit uncomfortable so just asked for a pot of tea for me and a juice and a cupcake for my son and was promptly relieved of almost £9! When we sat down I realised that there were really nice teas on offer and that they were more expensive because they were made with proper tealeaves in posh muslin bags. Fair enough then, I thought, that explains the inflated cost, but it would have been really nice to be asked what kind of tea I would have liked when I ordered as I would have loved an Assam. The tray arrived and I was disappointed to find a less-than-pristine teacup, and when I looked inside the teapot it was a normal ordinary teabag...PG Tips or equivalent. I asked one of the passing staff why I had a normal teabag when the card on the table said all the teas were special posh ones and she replied that the English Breakfast tea in the muslin bags hadn't worked well so they had reverted back to ordinary teabags for that flavour. I questioned the fact that they charged me the same for this as they would have for the posh teas and she just shrugged and wandered off.To add insult to injury I had been charged over £2 for juice for my son. At that price I expected a little bottle of fresh juice but what arrived was a tiny plastic beaker of something that tasted like diluted concentrate. The cupcake was fine but nothing special...I could have made the same myself at home for a fraction of the cost. So, all in all, I felt completely ripped off and will not be back.

I'd passed this place many a time while out for a coffee with a pal. Too pink and flowery for us to pop in, but I'd fancied taking my wife and little boy there. So when my wife had a couple of hours free, we headed there from Bracknell. It's pink. It's flowery. It's like a big tea party with bunting and dotted tablecloths. Me and my little lad were the only male customers in there. It was all mothers and daughters, grandmas and little girls. We sat by the window and ordered the afternoon tea for two, with an extra cupcake for our little lad. There was quite a pile of uncleared crumbs by our feet which they'd missed. But when we politely asked if they'd clean it up, they did it instantly and were apologetic. Hey, our little lad was going to make crumbs too (but you don't want to sit amongst stuff that may have tumbled out of strangers' mouths). You can see the staff freshly preparing the sandwiches and it was all served up on vintage-look china looking spendid on its cake-stand. My wife loved it. Ham, cucumber and beef & horseradish finger sandwiches. Beautiful scones with jam and clotted cream. Four little cakes, plus a cupcake each of our choice. Mine was rhubarb and custard. It was all fantastically delicious and we were soon struggling. Good value at £9.95 per person. Staff were perky, polite and cheery throughout. And they boxed up our leftovers. The only thing that spoiled it a little, was the cost of children's drinks. After the thrill of being asked what colour cup he wanted his drink in, we were saddened to see such a small cup appear, and only half-full of apple juice at that. Gone in five or six three-year-old gulps. We ordered another. The cost? £1 per cup. We eat out with our little boy a lot. We go to some ordinary places, many a pub and chain restaurant, and also to some fairly posh hotels and restaurants. We've never been charged so much for so few millilitres. Often, you get more than that for around 75p, and quite often, they'll top him up for free. To entice us to return? Maybe (it works, actually). If we pay more than a £1 for him, he usually gets quite a tall glass. Say around 200-250ml, or thereabouts. A delightful place. A lovely experience. Perhaps not the place for a couple of guys to sit and have a drink. Or maybe they should. We want to go back. But we're not so sure now. We'd think carefully about drink options for our little boy if we do return. Hard to come away perfectly pleased if you feel a little short-changed on something. Might have made it a monthly visit, that aside.

My Daughter was very excited to be invited to her best friends 5th Birthday Party @ LA DI DA Cupcakes in Park Street Camberley. The idea of the part is for each of the children to get the opportunity to decorate 4 cupcakes. This went really well and all the children enjoyed this. However when it came to the organisation of the games and food afterwards this was really disorganised and the 2 people who were in charge of the party were both limp and lack lustre. They had no comand of the situation or the children so consequently nobody knew what was going on. When the children were playing musical chairs the music was so low none of them could hear it and they didnt remove the chairs so the kids were just going round and round. When the mother complained that it was taking so long for the cake to come out and then for the cake to be cut up and given out, she was reduced to tears by the owner, who said it was her fault for booking the party. They only normally do 2 parties on a Saturday but had agreed to do her daughters as well. Duhhhhh dont agree to do something that you then provide bad service for. There were over 13 other parents at the party and they all agreed they would not be going back to La Di Da's again and would certainly never consider it as a party venue for one of their children. Well done for that PR act. Perhaps you should of just apologised instead.

I've been in a couple of times now for a delicious treat to take home. Always so hard to pick just one as you'll want them all!! Lovely little business that I hope goes from strength to strength. I plan on taking my mum her for afternoon tea on her next visit. Would love to see them add ice cream sundaes in the summer. Check out their Facebook page to vote for cupcake of the week.

Have visited this cafe a few times since its opening and have recommended it to others. It's a most refreshing change to the ever increasing number of "chains" in the town. I really like their idea of "cupcake of the week". Independeny run, these folks have really done their homework. I really wish them the best of luck in their venture and will definately be visiting again!

Have now been here a few times - fairly new independent cupcake/tea shop in camberley. Cakes look divine but hvnt tried yet! I love the tea from the ecelectic china teapots. Children are welcome - and indeed there is a ' play area' in the far corner. It is bright and airy and not cramped like other cafes! They do gluten free cupcakes too snd make the cakes on the premises. They advertise afternoon tea and childrens tea parties. Didnt hv soya milk for my dairy intolerant friend - but am sure if the demand is there they will change that. I think its a lovely addition to the town and fully recommend it.

Even though we arrived just behind a group of cyclists, we were served quickly and both the coffee and the food we ordered were delicious- even ordered a 2nd cup of coffee as the first was so good.
