Great ambiance, fantastic staff, great food, another memorable night at the Loco.

Copious portions of mexican food. The staff is relatively young.

Visited 4/24 as a family of 6 for my birthday. My first visit for some years and it was just as good as I remember it. Under the same ownership for 30 years, so must be getting something right! I had the Prawns Pil Pil to start which were really garlicky and succulent, followed by the feather steak, which was to die for - so tender it just fell apart. The accompaniments were great too, especially the garlic parmesan fries. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Service was also excellent and a great atmosphere. Always busy, so booking recommended.

Had a family gathering for my 70th birthday. The place was busy but staff were friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble. The food came out quite quickly, well cooked and presented. there were 11 of us, staff were spot on. My daughter took a cake and staff brought this out on cue with plates and a cutting knife. The cost for us all with drinks was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere from this well located restaurant. Always really busy, which shows how popular it is. Service was pretty good, friendly staff, but the food did take a long time to arrive. Good was pretty tasty, a little bland in places so hot sauce was needed. Average prices and extensive drinks menu. Would recommend

Took a chance on this restaurant, and really glad we did. Great interior design with hat's to wear. We had the early bird menu and a family of 4 had 3 courses and drinks for £80. Unable to move from being full. Really good value and lovely staff. Seems like a venue for people to have their birthday. Will go again and probably many times.

The restaurant was a tad cold near the window. The food/drinks were excellent and the portion side was good. The staff were excellent and attentive. Nice variety for vegans and vegetarians. The style of the restaurant is great too.

Really nice decor within the establishment. the food was good, I would definitely recommend the churros light, crispy not too sweet. The muchos nachos were good. The tequila prawns unfortunately were not as good as when I last ate there. The taco’s were average. The atmosphere is rated low as we were sat in an area near the toilets with no one else around. My partner was disappointed as it was for her birthday as she’s been before and sat in the main area where it’s a real vibe.

Excellent food. Was sat in the bar ,so had tapas menu. It was great, would fully recommend.

We went 2 times, the food was more than perfectly delicious for the main plates and apperizers. The team was very cheerful, welcoming and very nice. The place design is beautiful. The music, lighting and atmosphere are perfect for dinning. The overall experience is 100/100

First time visit with my partner for lunch, absolutely no complaints. Service from start to finish excellent & attentive without being OTT. My partner had the chilli beef enchiladas & I had the ribs off the lunch menu, food was very tasty & excellent value for money.. Would highly recommended & will definitely visit again 😊👍🏻

Another fabulous evening at La Casa Loco! As a family we have been coming for over 20 years so it felt the right choice for my 40th birthday. There were 22 of us, we ordered off the party menu and ordered there on the night. The staff were friendly and super efficient, the food came out correct and quickly. And the food was amazing as always. The drinks, including many cocktails, were flowing. We love this place and can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent service and food as always - staff was very pleasant and helpful. Always guaranteed a good evening. We had the Cajun chicken which is to die for. The steak came out piping hot and very tasty.

Good food but have raised their prices way too much and portions no longer feel worth the price. You used to be able to get the chicken chimichanga with a small side of rice, guac, sour cream and salsa for about £11.50? Now the main is £10 on its own and you have to purchase all the sides separately. Comes up to about £17 in total if you pick the same sides mentioned above. Probably won't return here purely based on principle.

The tapas are a good way to have an interesting meal even if there's only a couple of you eating. The staff are always helpful and attentive.

Always been a good place to eat, great food but hadnt been for quite a few years. Booked a table for myself and partner as she had never been before. We both really enjoyed it. She had the prawn starter which she said was great, and really enjoyed the haddock main course. I had nachos and spicy beef chimichanga which were spot on and just as I remember them. Service was good, staff polite and all in all a great meal and the place has lost non of its atmosphere.

Great food place. Went for the El Stacko (As seen in photo) Changed the sweet potato wedges to chips. Waiter spilt a few chips when putting food down so replaced them with loads more. Good service. Good food. Nice environment. Price was very reasonable.

Just had an amazing night out - with friends - food was delicious- atmosphere fantastic. - loved the Karaoke and the staff were all friendly and accommodating- even found us a table after we needed to vacate - had such a lovely evening - this place is a hidden gem!!

There was no free on street parking and only a tiny short stay carpark close-by which was full. The restaurant was relatively easy to find however could only be reached by stairs and therefore not disabled friendly. The restaurant was cold, extremely cold-about same temperature as outdoors (-1°C winter traffic). Both my gf and I had to wear our winter jackets at the table. The decor was appropriate for the Mexican food and style. The food was sub-par. There was almost no flavour or seasoning. I ordered the stack and my gf ordered the 5 bean chimichanga. Both taste worse than what we could make at home and compared to another mexican restaurant we visited the day prior. The total came to £57 which was also more than we paid at another mexican restaurant even though that time we ordered cocktails and starters also. Overall we are very disappointed in our experience at restaurant recommended by our Airbnb hosts.

The food was outstanding and the restaurant has a great friendly atmosphere. The starter I had the Tequila Prawns was as good as anything I have had in years !

We went for an early doors meal with our 5 kids for our eldest sons 13th birthday. His choice! He said the ribs are the best meal he’s ever eaten! A great place to go for a birthday as they play the Happy Birthday music loud into the restaurant and bought out a happy birthday wooden board with chocolate writing and a candle. He felt so spoilt. All our meals were amazing and a family of 7 to have clean plates all round is unusual! Really reasonable price eating early and you get a kids course free for each adult meal.

We went for a girls night out on a Wednesday, which could have been very quiet - it wasn’t! Place was buzzing with a great atmosphere! We had a selection of cocktails which were tasty and the food was delicious with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Came in for a meal to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent and there was a good selection of cocktails and mocktails. We had a few different dietary requirements which were handled fantastically. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we all had a superb evening. Thank you, looking forward to our next visit.

5 of us came this evening for our daughter’s birthday . We got sat at the wrong table by the waiting staff which was an honest mistake but they squeezed us onto a table which only comfortably sat 4 , right by the bar & amongst all of the restaurant traffic . I raised my concerns & the surly waitress said there was nothing she could do . When I pointed out there was a more comfortable table on the other side of the restaurant which would be more suitable for 5 it was portrayed that it was a big issue to move which was a little frustrating but finally we were moved to a much more comfortable & sensible sized table for our party size . Took a while to take our food order but it arrived quickly . The food was delicious & presented nicely , although my main could have been warmer had it been served on a warm / hot plate . Drinks service was a little slow. Daughter enjoyed it for her birthday but I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Price reasonable . Was okay .

A nice Mexican restaurant. The place got a good vibe and a good atmosphere. We didn’t book in advance so had to opt for Tapas Menu. Even this menu was good for us. All the dishes other than Prawns Pil Pil were really good. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Booked two separate tables for early bird session on a Saturday night, one for my daughter and her friends and the other for us mums, thinking she would appreciate some independence/distance for her 13th birthday! As is often the case with teenagers and their parents there was a disconnect and she wanted the exact opposite! After explaining to the manager (?) he quickly resolved the issue by merging two smaller tables nearby to create the seating required. The customary ‘Happy Birthday’ music and message on cake plate went down better with me than with my daughter (she hates a fuss!) but these are just two more examples of this restaurant’s high standards of customer service and attention to detail. Food always delicious and it always feels like a special occasion at La Casa Loco, this is why we go back to them again and again as a safe pair of hands for almost any celebration (although possibly not the most romantic of venues) they deal with large parties with ease….and the cocktails are pretty fabulous too!

Mummykins first visit to Casa loco , everything was perfect . We both really enjoyed our fab meal . Mum opted for the Tequila Prawns me the rack of ribs , so yummy 😋. Treated my Mum to a night out , this was her first time at La Casa Loco and she really enjoyed the whole experience. You get a warm welcome from all the staff , we found them to be very attentive but not in your face. We had three courses , which were all served quickly. Food is well presented & all tasted delicious. The mocktails were also delicious. Love the atmosphere here & decor is fab.

Only tapas tables available but still so accommodating and welcoming. Food was great, we shared tacos and both had prawn dishes, pilpil and tequila. Fantastic and so tasty, only let down was the garlic, Parmesan fries, they were not the best.

A classy, cosy place to enjoy great Mexican food. I came here with my wife on a casual Wednesday and was surprised to find it was packed. I'd booked before hand so we got somewhere to sit without trouble. The decor is really nice, a mix between classy and casual, cosy bit stylish. It's the food here that really shines. I had the chicken tinga chimichanga and it was absolutely exquisite. Perfect level of spice, great sides with rice and salad, good sauces - perfect! We had drinks too - there was a good selection and they came quickly and we're great. I've taken off a star for two small reasons. Firstly, our waitress was pretty grumpy. No smile and communication with grunts. And secondly because I think £40 for two meals, 1/2 pint beer and a mocktail is just slightly high. Not much, but slightly. That's just me though.
