I was very impressed by how the owner manages such an excellent service and produces top quality products, at the same time providing a great level of customer care and satisfaction. It is a place I will always enjoy returning to. I visited with family from Scotland who’s only regret was that there wasn’t something similar there. The sweetcorn soup was delicious , have never tasted anything that compares. Thank you to the owner and his assistant for such a memorable experience ….

This is an excellent unique type of cafe, where the freshness and quality of the ingredients, the sauces, the soup and coffee is amazing. Have been a regular of over 2 years now and I must say the black coffee is just as I like it, not to bitter not to bland, just perfect! The food is another level all together. I’m trying to eat as healthy as possible and at LA Cafe everything is prepared from scratch, no packets, tins, pre prepared food what so ever, they even make their own dressings! That means no rape or palm oil, no additives, food chemicals etc. A menu brunch favourite of mine is the avocado toast, sublime! Service wise - fast, efficient and friendly just like going to Spain, food brought swiftly and tables are cleared promptly and cleaned when done ready for the next customer. The whole place is also bright , cheery and nice and clean. Sit inside or on the pavement which I do to watch the World go by 🙏❤️

I visited La Cafe today with my (picky, 9 year old) son on the strength of the reviews. And really, the reviews do not do it justice. I plumped for the soup (truffle based, with toasted garlic sourdough bread), and my son chose the pretzel-based sausage bap. The bap met with approval through virtue of the fact that my son ate it (no small feat), and as for the soup - it was sublime. On occasion I've eaten in Michelin star restaurants in the past, and this was truly comparable. Absolutely delicious. The owner was clearly passionate and super attentive, going from table to table to check everyone was satisfied (and just for a chat!) - and as a result recommended we wait a little longer for the dessert of the day. So it turned out wisely, we took the recommendation which resulted in the dessert pictured. Pistachio, chocolate, toffee, cream: rich and wonderful - truly first rate. The kicker was the price: quality at a level above anything else in Sutton for cafe prices. All in all, an amazing, incredibly welcome experience. La Cafe thoroughly deserves the universally positive reviews!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the passionate and cheerful owner, whose hospitality set the tone for our experience. Our taste buds were tantalized by the famous croissants and berry pancakes, which not only satisfied our sweet cravings but also left us refreshed and invigorated by their flavors. However, what truly surprised us was the impeccable quality of the hot beverages. Served in renowned French "LE CREUSET" cups, the Mocha, Americano, and hot chocolate retained their temperature and flavor, providing us with a wholly different coffee tasting experience. We eagerly anticipate returning to Sutton Best of the Best Cafe to explore their diverse menu and sample more of their exquisite beverages. Overall, it's a gem nestled in Sutton's culinary scene, offering both exceptional food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We have eaten here a couple of times now and have had take away coffees etc. Every time is as good as the last. Delicious food and fabulous service. I have visited with my 85 year old mother as well as my 7 year old son and everyone was happy! Next time, deserts!

A very beautiful and cozy cafe in the heart of sutton. Had a very special valentines brunch here. The food here was great ,reflecting freshness in every bite. The bread in the sandwiches was well baked. Chef Ankur and team give attention to all their guests making the experience surreal .Overall a wonderful and warm experience.

Came here for the first time today after reading a review. What a gem! Ordered the scrambled eggs bap. Wow. It was something I’d expect to be served at Gloria (big mamma group). A toasted pretzel bun with French eggs and truffle sauce- so yummy. The owner waited on us himself and he kept making sure we were enjoying our food. We’ll be coming back again for sure. I almost feel selfishly reluctant to write this review as I don’t want La Cafe to end up being packed! The exact kind of place that Sutton has needed.

I visited this boutique cafe with my family (me, wife and 2 children) and was greeted with a warm welcome from the very friendly owner Ankur. The menu had a variety of lovely dishes and we chose to eat the full breakfast which was amazing. We also ate a very tasty chocolate brownie which was cooked on the day by the owner. The food quality and customer service is given utmost priority which is evident from the experience one gets in this cafe. Looking forward to my next visit !

Finally found a place where I can go whenever I feel like having nice, absolutely delicious Indian (+fusion) food! Believe me, the food is very different from the usual 'curry' type stuff that you get in every Indian restaurant out there. Ankur, the owner takes a lot of pride in his food, and very rightly so. Not an extremely big place but very cozy and warm. Their love for the work they do can be seen and felt in the interiors. When it comes to food, this is a completely 'no compromises' place - you can straightaway feel the high quality of the ingredients and the meticulous efforts put in the preparation of every item on the menu. Very happy to have such a class eating out option locally! Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this cafe whilst looking for brunch options in the area. And pleasantly surprised to try this cafe. Extremely good service which has become quite a rarity in London. We ordered scrambled eggs, chicken sandwich and tuna sandwich. ( chicken is halal). He himself told us he’d take the chorizo out which was thoughtful. Food was very good and fresh. We even tried some homemade sauces. Coffee was good too! All in all a very pleasurable brunch experience!

Honestly if I could give this place 10 stars I would. Ever since it opened its doors it has delivered consistently beautiful food, coffee and sweet treats. The owner is a gentleman and its always a pleasure going in there. Arguably the best flat white in the area and the menu is full of stunning street food style flavours. I will add some photos next time I'm in, I always eat it before remembering to take a picture 🤣

After a tough bike ride, what more could you want than this amazing chicken curry accompanied by piri piri fries and a fresh salad. Oh don’t forget the flat white too. Randomly found this place on a Guardian article, holy moly it's amazing. Service, absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food, wow. We had a salt beef sandwich and a pulled beef burger. Dessert was a berry cheesecake. I'd give it a 12/10, just out of this world. I don't think I've ever seen a place with 600 odd reviews all at 5*, I now know why. An absolute gem, I'll be back for sure. Aj

Wow! Just wow! We read the reviews and still it surpassed our already elevated expectations! The food is spectacular, the coffee delicious and it was lovely meeting Ankur! We had the full English breakfast and the scrambled eggs and toast. The eggs with truffle cream were the best we’ve ever eaten and the tomatoes with a pesto drizzle was absolutely perfect.

Recently I read an article about the award winning La Cafe. Today as I was at the high street , I wanted to try something from La Cafe. Ankur was very friendly and I enjoyed the ambience. I tried his famous sausage and bacon bap. I am not a big fan of sausages. But as Ankur said it is one of the most fast moving product and everything is made fresh and their own recipe , I thought of giving it a try. And I wasn’t disappointed . It was amazing. I have read about their soups which aren’t repetitive. Will try some next time. A great place to go with friends for a coffee or a bite. Looking forward to go there again.

Ankur and his team provided a selection of 34 delicious, warm pastries, each day, for a week long event (the selection changed each day, which was an added bonus!) This was ready on time, and even when called late one afternoon, they were able to have the order ready earlier than planned for the next day. Our international guests loved the selection and quality, and we couldn't be happier with the service provided - we will be contacting Ankur and his team in the future! Hard to believe that they have so many 5-star reviews but I assure you, they deserve it!!!! The tuna sandwich is just amazing (and I don't even like tuna usually!) The owner is just so wonderful, always making sure customers leave happy.

Had breakfast after reading an article on the Sutton Guardian about LA Cafe winning a Good Food Award. I must admit that the food is superb and so is the service. Despite a tad pricier than its direct competitors, the quality of the food (home baked bread!) More than justifies the visit. Coffee is great too. Will definitely be visiting again.

My absolute go to, I can’t rate it enough! They have such a good selection of hot and cold drinks. The food is incredible, id highly recommend any of breakfast sandwiches are like nothing I’ve had before, just gorgeous! An added bonus, a lot of the ingredients are made by the cafe which is amazing. There is so much care put into everything they do and the owner and staff are so accommodating and it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve seen, you can’t ask for much more! I took my grandparents in September who were visiting they loved it, whenever we talk they ask if I’ve been back, they wish they had one home. If you haven’t already give it a try, you won’t regret!

This place is the reason to come to Sutton. Bang opposite the the train station, La Cafe is a must go for anyone with a discerning palate looking to be impressed by good food, quality ingredients and even better service. Everyone has a smile and goes the extra mile to make sure you leave happy. You can tell the place is cared for with love and everyone has a sense of ownership. This is the first and last place I will eat at as my year in London comes to an end. It's fed me, my family, my friends and never ever dissappoints no matter what I order.
