Had such a wonderful night in here last night.! Not one to leave reviews but the food was amazing. 🤩 The food was so good, fresh and tasted great. The atmosphere was perfect with first class service. Looking forward to going again.

Got 3 tapas for £13.95 before 6pm. There were surcharges for most of them but was still a good deal. Good service, fast and friendly.

Lovely meal. Portions looked small initially but we're more than adequate. Friendly and attentive staff.

The steak was incredible and the sauce complemented it perfectly, I loved the crust on the steak. It might be one of the best steaks I've ever had. The lamb and potato casserole was good. The king prawn in a garlic and chilli olive oil infusion was ok but I felt like it was lacking in quantity. The oil was tasty though. I regret not getting bread to dip into it. Overall I really enjoyed this place. I paid around £30.

This is a very nice place. Located on the sea front at Helensburgh. The food and drinks were excellent, and it has a great atmosphere. Prices are about average. The place is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. It gets a bit busy so book in advance. We had a lovely evening. Thanks. We went back three years later, and it's still very good. Thank you.

First time today at La Barca. Loved it. I'd definalty make a point of driving back through frpm Glasgow to go there regularly . Staff and service really good. Friendly manager,great chat, very welcoming which made all the difference.

La Barca never disappoints! We were there for a Christmas Eve meal with family and as usual we ordered an absolute feast. Great service, friendly staff, amazing food and good company. What more do you need?

Food was ok. Could of been hotter but it was busy.

Mixed experience. It says online it’s opening hours are till 10pm however when I made an 8pm booking I was called and asked to come in earlier which I explained I couldn’t do. Friends arrived first and were asked almost immediately to place their order, we felt rushed the entire experience. We were given the bill while we had food and drinks still to enjoy, and were hurried to pay this well before the advertised closing time. Perhaps close earlier if you don’t want people eating there past 8pm?

We really like La Barca. They have a great selection of tapas, we particularly like the aubergine, the pork cheek and chicken with peppers and chorizo. We usually get 3 tapas each and that is plenty. The staff are always great and the food comes out quickly.

Fantastic tapas with a great variety. Attended as a group of 12, decided to order 18 random dishes per 6 to give 3 per person but a taster of all. Great decision and every single dish was fantastic. Service was excellent also. Highly recommend.

Very good but just about every dish on the 3 dish offer carries a surcharge 😀. The atmousphere rating was related to a mid week visit so very quiet.

Always where I go for lunch when in Helensburgh. Great variety, well priced and the staff are lovely. Excellent restaurant.

We are regular visitors to La Barca for the reason that in our experience, we have been dealt with quickly, the food has always been excellent and the staff are polite and helpful without being pushy. No doubt we will return very soon 😀

Was ok. Food didn't seem fresh, came out very quickly, like under 5 mins, more heated than cooked.

First time I’ve eaten In this fantastic restaurant, food was excellent and the service from our incredible waiter Marcelo was superb, super friendly and very polite, will definitely be back again with friends soon to have more of the fabulous food from this amazing restaurant, beautiful looking restaurant and immaculate toilets, which is always a good sign, 10 /10 all round 👍

Portions could have been bigger, 3 tapas per person wasn't quite enough.

Had a great meal here a few weeks ago. We chose a few tapas dishes from the menu and all were lovely. Staff great too

Great food in a nice clean spacious restaurant, food and service was quick and friendly. We had 6 tapas and a starter of olives and rustic olive bread, all was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit, they also have 2 other sister restaurants a pizza one and steak and seafood.

Fantastic authentic Tapas in a perfect setting with lovely views of the Clyde ( on a sunny day... It is Helensburgh after all ). Had a great meal and the service was absolutely second to none. A classy wee place. Can't wait to return.

Great food, sat outside, good service and very traditional tapas, great selection, very authentic. The owner was extremely friemdly polite and attentive, nothing was a problem for them. A great experience and a must go to if you visit Helensburgh.

Such an amazing restraunt, I was greated at the door with a smile from I assume owner and he sat me at a nice table, the atmosphere feels like I'm sitting in Spain and honestly some lovely workers who are super well dressed and knowledgeable about Spanish cuisine and helped me pronouncing the Spanish words which was great definitely gonna bring some friends over next time. Ps the food was cooked superbly the squid wasn't mushy like most fried squid it was chewy and the pawns where the freshest I've had and the Spanish bean stew was so amazing too 🖤

First time in these restaurant from a Outside looks great but the surprise when we received the order I have told to my wife the food doesn't look good as I'm chef and baker for more than 15 years just finished food maybe after couple of minutes i had strong pain in my stomach and strong diarrhoea after few minuts i feel like im dying but it's ok after fee hours, the raison im writing these msg guys just to be more careful about health and safety of your customer and make sure everything made with good condition

Went for the lunch deal, but over half of the menu had supplemental prices tacked on, meaning the 'deal' quickly became very expensive. The food itself was oily to the point that i had to wonder if they've tapped into an oil deposit. My garlic prawns (all 5 of them) came in a sea of oil with chilli, and despite this, they were quite plain. The chorizo with red wine also seemed to be done in oil, not wine so lacked any extra taste. Won't be back in a hurry!

This is a fantastic tapas restaurant. The staff were kind, friendly and courteous, service was incredibly quick. Really good quality food, great drinks selection. Highly enjoyed!

Friendly staff n good range of food

What ever you do don’t go on public holiday as they don’t do 3 plates for £12.99 no one told us this even the waiter who took our order what a suprice when I asked bill asked to explace don’t do offer on public holidays no signs to say any thing and waiters never mentioned it either so watch out folks

I'm not sure why this place is rated so highly. The staff are very friendly however the food is so so average we were all pretty disappointed.

A very warm welcome awaited us here. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Menu is superb, with so much to choose from....kinda hard to make your mind up sometimes!! Food was served promptly and beautifully cooked. Would really recommend 👍

Food was fantastic. The restaurant recommends 3 plates each but we went for 4 and could have easily had 5 as the food was so tasty. 8 plates, 2 cocktails, 1 pint and an orange juice with Lemonade and only cost £69. Great view across the clyde if you get a window seat( we did). We will certainly be back for more😋

Had a lovely celebration lunch there. Place was quiet but was getting busier when we left and it was a Tuesday as well. Food was fantastic and delicious. Lovely selection of different tapas on offer. Would defo go back.

Don't normally go to tapas restaurant however very glad I did. Very tasty tapas especially the pork cheek, chicken and chirozo. Well with a visit.

Visited twice as we enjoyed it so much. First visit was for lunch. Second visit was for dinner. Great selection of meat, fish and vegetable dishes should suit the majority of tastes. Very friendly staff, good service and a definite place to visit again on our next trip up.

First time visit and would definitely recommend it. Our waiter Marcelo was extremely helpful on advising us about the menu. The service was excellent and the food also. My wife also enjoyed the wine he recommended.
