What a great atmosphere. We have never eaten here before but so glad we did. Thankfully we booked as it was full. (Friday night.) The staff were all lovely and gave us plenty of time between courses. Cocktails to start with, around £10 each. Our starters were the Salmon & Mackerel mousse and Gameberoni which were both great. We ordered extra veg to go with our main courses as thought we would need it, but we didn't! We had liver which came with lots of potatoes and swordfish which came with a large salad. No puds as too full, the coffee was just right. We will definitely come back again, a great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

First time visit and will definitely be going back, food really good, owners from Naples, portion size decent and prices of all items on the menu very reasonable. Plus service to match. Tried the Milanese with Spaghetti and it was excellent.

Had a birthday dinner here with friends. Thoroughly recommend this place for the variety of good food and drink. The service great, without being intrusive. The atmosphere fun and light. My 2nd visit and definitely not my last.

After a lovely evening meal we returned to sit outside for lunch in sunshine. A little piece of Italy on the Banstead Rd, delicious pasta, swordfish and schiacciata with the professional warmth of the staff creating that bit of magical hospitality.

This is my mothers new favourite restaurant, and i have to say mine too. Having visited now four times over the last few months, i have always found it warm and inviting. The food honest clean and with flavour. well done la Blanca, lovely to find a simple professional restaurant in this area.

A group of friends went to La Banca last night for dinner. We had a very delicious and enjoyable meal with very efficient and delightful staff adding to the evening. We had not mentioned it was a birthday celebration so were very surprised and delighted when the staff (who must have overheard some of our conversation) gathered round and sung Happy Birthday and presented the birthday girl with dessert complete with candle. A great end to a great meal and such a thoughtful gesture. We will be back!

Good cocktails, delicious pizza and fried mozzarella to die for. The staff are super friendly too!

This was our first visit and we found the whole eve ing to be very p,peasant. The staff were relaxed and friendly, whilst still being very efficient. The dishes were well prepared and presented and most importantly everything tasted good. Drinks were reasonably priced - as was the food. I will be looking for excuses to visit again in the near future.

First time we've been to Launch Banca Would we go back ? Absolutely definitely ! Food was superb, service attentive and friendly, music and lighting not intrusive.. If we want to eat Italian this will be our restaurant of choice In the future.

We held my 60th birthday lunch here for 23 people and the whole event ran like clockwork. The waiting staff were discreet but attentive and timed everything to perfection. The food was, as always, faultless and delicious. The prices are reasonable for such well prepared and presented meals. I would thoroughly recommend La Banca for any celebration or just for a casual lunch or dinner. Top notch!

La Banca is a relatively new restaurant and our very local Italian. Food is always impeccable and service excellent. Would highly recommend a visit here. They have also now started takeaways given current Covid crisis.

We have eaten in the restaurant quite a few times and the food, the service and the decor is lovely. Recently we received a take away menu and we decided to try it - absolutely lovely. Food still lovely, the ordering and collection side of things was so easy. You order online and it instantly tells you when to collect and it's very accurate. Pick up is socially distanced and everyone is masked up. I fully recommend this restaurant both to eat in and to order a take away.

Excellent Sunday lunch, attentive & friendly service - it was our first visit and we found a little gem.

We had been to La Banca a couple of times last year and decided to try it once the lock down had been relaxed. Really great restaurant, super atmosphere and I felt incredibly safe. All the staff, including the cooks, were wearing masks and there was plenty of space between the tables. The food is excellent and very good value for money. We will be visiting again very soon. Can't recommend highly enough!

We have visited this restaurant numerous times as we live near and want to support it. Sometimes the restaurant has lacked a bit of atmosphere but I have never found fault with the food. This was our second visit post lockdown and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Gamborini starter is beautiful and I have tried most pasta dishes, all of which are great. Carbonara on this visit and I struggled to finish it due to the large portion. My wife had sea bass which she said was great and there was a nice buzz to the restaurant as well.

Having driven past here for a number of years, we decided to visit it for my daughters birthday. I’m glad we did, the food was wonderful, the atmosphere very good with music just loud enough to hear. It was also refreshing to go to an Italian restaurant that actually plays Neapolitan folk songs. Ok so the waiter couldn’t find our booking, but we had a table for 4 within seconds. The starters were very good the rustic bread with a simple olive oil and balsamic vinegar didn’t last long. Our main courses were very tasty too. My wife’s lasagna might have been a fraction too sweet, but it was still one of the best l have tasted. As for the Italian sausage and pasta, that I ordered, that was as good. My daughter and my God daughter both had Pizza which they also enjoyed. The house wine was marvellous. The desserts are typical Italian fare and again very tasty. The girls wanted cream on their brownies instead of ice cream, and this was not a problem for the kitchen.

Good value - the wine list has become more limited. The starters are so good you just have multiple ones. Good quality fresh ingredients. well thought out social distancing - enough sanitiser to swim in.

I live just a few minutes from this restaurant and decided to finally give it a try. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Every member of staff was attentive and kind (but not in a forced way). The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The presentation of the food was gorgeous with very generous portions! I can’t wait to go back and try something new on the menu! A fabulous restaurant that deserves very wide recognition!

A number of times people have recommended me to go to La Blanca and I never got round to it for a few months which was a mistake on my part! As last weekend I decided to take the plunge and take a trip over there to the restaurant. It was definitely worth it, as when I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly waiter who showed me to my table and was very attentive throughout the meal. The food was exceptional as they had choices for everyone on the menu and the portions where on the slightly large side which is what I like (This did not affect the quality of the meal what so ever). For starters the waiter recommended a choice of breads which was very nice although it was almost a meal in itself as it was delicious especially the garlic breads. What I thought was a nice touch was that one of the chefs came out to greet us and ask us how the food was. Its the little things like that, that make a big difference in my opinion. Its definitely worth a try if you are in the area although car parking can be a little tricky during busy periods, but is definitely worth it. I cannot recommend it enough and I will be heading back there the next opportunity I get!!!

Christmas Eve at La Banca was absolutely fabulous. Food was gorgeous and service was perfect. To start we had the calamari, followed by the steak which was cooked to perfection and very generous portion to served with gorgeous potatoes, mushrooms and broccoli. To end we had a warm chocolate fondant to share which was just delicious. Great night out and can’t wait to go back. Always enjoy the food and service at this restaurant. They now do takeaway with a 20% discount. So I think I will be ordering online too.

Business lunch for a group of around a dozen. Everything perfectly good about food and service. Pasta portions are traditionally Italian, ie never ending.

We have not been here for a while. All I can say is it just better. The food was superb with decent size portions and well presented. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the restaurant so much that I have decided to have my 60th birthday party there next month. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Best local Italian restaurant by far.

Went Saturday evening with my husband for dinner. The service was faultless, wonderful starter, and I had Salmon for my main which was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

We visited on a Sunday evening around 530 and were the only people there. This may not appeal to everybody but it felt very exclusive having the place to ourselves! We started by sharing a mozzarella garlic bread which was delicious and light. We had breaded mozzarella with a lovely pesto dip and a small portion of the spaghetti polpette. The sauce with the spaghetti was delightful. We had strozzapretti alla pugliese which had a lovely kick to it and the garganelli al pollo which was very creamy and cheesy, just what's needed on a cold October evening! Although absolutely stuffed, we found room to share a brownie with ice cream which, although not technically a brownie and more of a sponge cake, was warm but light and tasty. We will definitely be going back for more as they have a great and varied menu to try!

This restaurant offers the best Italian food in the area. The restaurant is large and seems to be under used which is strange, given the density of houses around. Because it doesn't seem to have a massive custom, the atmosphere could be improved upon, but I want them to succeed and we often go there. We have usually been with family, and the food, service and attitude has always been excellent.

Our first visit to this restaurant, Saturday evening, and we weren't disappointed! We were warmly greeted on arrival and quickly shown to our table and the service was attentive throughout without being intrusive.The menu caters for all of the usual Italian cuisine without being too complex, and we thought the house red wine was very acceptable. The food was well presented and tasty and the portions generous. We were offered complimentary drinks at the end. In summary, an all-round pleasant experience that was good value for money. Starters were ok. I had seafood spaghetti, however I expected fresh seafood.... the seafood was minuscule, no more that 1cm...I suspect this was a frozen bag of fish...presentation could have been better.

Visited with work friends and were impressed. Bright room and we were given a round table which we always prefer. Attentive service without being pushy or intrusive. Also handled one of our party's request for dairy free alternatives without fuss. The Parma ham and fig starter was enjoyed, although the calamari were a bit stodgy and bland. Mains of sea bass, pasta with clams, and salads were all realty tasty. No room for dessert but we enjoyed our wine and the company. We had a 20% voucher which made the bill very good value. We'll be back

Had a lovely meal as did my family. Everything done to perfection. Had bruschetta, bolognese parpadelle and gelato. Would highly recommend, lovely staff.

I went there for a celebration with my young daughters and wife. Food was excellent and service was stellar . The staff were so warm and courteous to us all and great at putting my little ones at ease . Will be going again soon.

Waites 40 minutes outside in the cold waiting for a table which had been pre booked Very bad how they treat their custimers

This afternoon, Saturday 22nd, we pre-booked a table for 3 at 20.30, we arrived 5 minutes early, our table wasn't ready and we 3 were asked to sit, Al Fresco, on the pavement, it wasn't warm my Fiance' was fortunately wearing her coat, myself and our guest weren't. We were asked if we would like a drink, "YES AS LONG AS THEY ARE COMPLIMENTARY" came our reply, we all ordered soft drinks. "45" minutes later and virtually shivering I decided that enough was enough and headed back to my car alone. I waited, waited, waited and my 2 colleagues didn't return. I went back and an extremely apologetic gentleman ushered me to our table where my colleagues were waiting. The restaraunt seating area is very plush and nicely decorated however the acoustics are terrible and one needs to virtually shout to be heard at all. We ordered and after a very short wait our starters arrived. They, all 3 were delicious, a 5-8 minute wait later our mains arrived, they too were presented impeccably and again tasted exceptional as was our waiters service and politeness. Once finished a full Desert and Coffee Menu was handed to us, 2 TirMisu were ordered and 1 Orange Sorbet, which once again were well presented and delicious. Our waiter returned and in his Italian accent asked if we would like to enjoy a Limon Cello. We ordered 3 and gently sipped this delicious, tangy italian aperitif.

This restaurant has stiff competition from the long-established Italian up the road, however I believe the food is actually better quality here.

Tried this restaurant first time this week Tuesday. It is beautiful inside, so tastefully decorated. The staff are just so lovely kind and caring. The food what can I say, it was fantastic!!! Go try it, it is so worth it and good value.

A few weeks ago we had a wedding lunch at La Banca and was so impressed with the whole experience. The staff and manager could not be more accommodating and the food was excellent. There were 21 people in attendance and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We went to celebrate my mother's birthday. Food was excellent, service was superb. We had a mixed party of vegetarian's and meat eaters and there was something for everyone. We had a lovely time and would recommend.

We had not been to this restaurant before but were not disappointed! It was light and airy inside and seating was comfortable. The menu had plenty of choice and there were vegetarian options ( wasn't looking at vegan ones,so don't know about that.)We started with mixed breads with a dip and chilli olives and moved onto mains of pork wrapped in pancetta with roast potatoes/mushrooms and for me, sea bass with Mediterranean veg and new potatoes. The food was well cooked( they have a 5 rating on food hygiene) and very tasty from first mouthful to last! The wine was an Italian Merlot which was delicious. Desserts we sampled were mixed ice-cream and panacotta with mixed berry compote. We finished off with a complimentary limoncello and a coffee. It was very quiet but it was a Monday night. Be interesting to see what a Saturday night is like! Music was mellow but not really to our taste but you can't please everyone! A very relaxing evening, eating fab food and drinking great wine!

I was reminded of this restaurant by a recent advert describing it as 'newly opened'. It has been open sometime to my knowledge. I visited the restaurant to book a table for a group of 10. This was early December 2018. They accepted my reservation asking if I wanted the set Xmas meal, which I did not. The following week I received a call to tell me that they could not accommodate me as they were 'closing' the restaurant on that evening. This left me with the task of finding somewhere that was not booked and could cater for a group of 10 just before Xmas. Not pleased and will not be re-booking at any time. I cannot give a balanced review on food etc, just the appalling service
