Krunchy Fried Chicken in Manchester

I’ve been quite a bit. It’s my local chicken shop. Everything about it is lovely. The food, friendliness of staff and service. My food always comes quickly. They add an extra wing for me. Drinks always come cold to perfection. Food is always hot and delicious. Amazing staff aswell. Always kind and smiling. Even let me charge my phone so I could pay as it died. Lovely people. Lovely food. And lovely service.

Wings were so wet they seemed boiled. Ironic it’s called Krunchy fried chicken considering the chips were so greasy they’d give my grandma a heart attack, and the chicken was so wet I can only imagine they’d boiled it in a cauldron. Love independent business, hate this one. Went with a friend visiting Manchester, now they are scared to come back.

Review 2 - 1st Nov 2022 WHAT??? Ordered through deliveroo this time, and used the special offer for £14.99 for three 9in pizzas with a bottle of pepsi... the pepsi never arrived, and the three pizzas all had Incorrect crust and toppings. What a shambles. Reducing my stars from 3 to 1 after this mess. Review 1 - 20th Oct 2022 Second time writing this review since it's been deleted the first time? Ordered through UberEATS, got two Pizzas. They tasted good but there weren't many toppings on each of them. Cheese was burnt a little as well but still mostly tasted good enough. Also bought a Kinder Milkshake which was very nice, although much more expensive for less quantity than other places. The milkshake was great but the cream at the top tasted horrible and ruined the drink towards the end.

Woman at counter always took our order with a smile, always delivered our food at a quick pace, would recommend to anyone who's having a bad day. although there is fighting for the red salt all is very sanitary and it is a prestigious facility for consumption of fine beverages and exotic foods.

I ordered 3 pieces of chicken through UberEats but guess what came? A god damn burrito... How can a restaurant confuse fried chicken with a burrito? Thanks and goodnight (to krunchy).

This review is for those who spend money on food and later feel mad that they wasted money on awful food. The chicken burger was not ‘Krunchy’ at all. Very soggy, the soft batter was stuck to the muffin. And the wings we ordered were more like fried wings without the batter. No flavour , inedible. I don’t think anything is actually freshly made in the shop. The chips were dry. I feel so guilty wasting food but 85% went into the food bin.

Califico este lugar porque cuando tienes ganas de comer la pizza en mis ojos es 8/10 es realmente buena la comida es excelente el servicio puede ser un poco lento pero bueno en general y tiene un precio razonable para lo que obtienes y la calidad también lo haría altamente recomiendo comprar los batidos son realmente buenos

Had food delivered from here and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything perfect - really tasty food all round (chicken burger, chips, wings and pizza), came with several sauce sachets and salt to season the chips and my favourite thing of all was that I got an extra chicken wing! 5 wings for £2.79 is good value as it is but what a sensational gesture adding another wing to the mix. Only place I’ve ever had that kind of extra-mile service so top marks from me. If the Chicken Connoisseur reviewed this place on youtube it’d get a near-perfect score. Plus the delivery on Uber Eats was about the fastest you’re likely to get and the drivers were the most friendly I’ve encountered. All the food came to about £13 and the portions are big enough to last me until the next day. Top quality takeaway, doesn’t get much better! Will definitely be ordering Krunchy Fried Chicken again.

Chicken we awful soggy on outside really chewy on the inside the gravy was water I think water might actually be thicker than this chicken gravy all of it was vile

Very very bad food at krunchy fried checkin ordered checkin burger meal, hot wings and colselow, the burger was absolutely dry, chips was old and reheated and the hot wings dry too and old Not recommend at all

We have used Krunchy Fried Chicken for a considerable time, they have been before this brilliant. However after ordering and paying for 4 items just over £20 order, only one arrived. Upon phoning they admitted a mistake and they would sort this out, 2 hours later we are still waiting, wife rang back they stated it was out to be delivered and would be 2 minutes, shock horror it never arrived. Additionally the driver also got himself lost, in Hulme never. Sorry Krunchy one customer lost, not even a sorry for screwing up. Goodbye

I bought chicken burger and chips, the chips was soggy but they was pretty leng to be honest but I was looking forward to the big thing chicken burger I was opening the lid slowly a took a small bite out of burger had hardly lettuce on it the mayonnaise was just put on the burger it was just on there effortlessly and I was ok about that but I took another bite and blood was coming out of the chicken i threw up and my little brother and sister was starting saying I was bleeding.I didn’t enjoy the food one bit but I rate the Dr Pepper because it was cold and delicious. I think that my Chicken burger was made effortlessly I didn’t feel like nobody but love into making the burger what a waste of a poor chicken you killed for Know reason.

Absolutely the worst staff I have ever come across, disgusting behaviour. After ordering our food and not receiving it, they tried to tell us that we had never actually ordered our food; even showing proof of a bank statement they still would not give us our food. It was only when we said that we were going to give them w bad review they actually admitted that we had paid for our food. Disgusting behaviour, literally do not go here unless you want to be ripped off.

Very tasty food. Best wings and fried chicken ever. Incredible burgers. Everything is just amazing. Could not ask for more.

Had a chicken burger which was not a burger. This place is not even in Manchester but Liverpool. They fool you with their great marketing campaign. Go somewehere else.

Este es el peor lugar en la llamada milla de curry para obtener una comida para llevar. Llamamos esta noche para darle a este lugar la última oportunidad de hacer las cosas bien después de tantas salidas de desprestigio. Somos personas locales y hemos estado yendo aquí durante años, pero desde el obvio cambio de propiedad, las cosas han ido cuesta abajo. Pedí una hamburguesa doble de carne con patatas fritas, sin aderezos, y mi esposa pidió una hamburguesa con patatas fritas y todos los aderezos, cuando la orden fue embolsada y mi esposa, por capricho, decidió comprobar lo que había en las bolsas y lo y he aquí que una vez más no había fichas en su orden, cuando ella señaló esto al miembro del personal que la atendió hizo un gran trato al darle una porción de las fichas, ¡eso ya estaba pagado, SIN CARGO! Sin embargo, eso no fue lo peor, cuando llegamos a casa y desenvolvimos la comida, estaba deseando que descubriéramos que la hamburguesa BEEF era en realidad POLLO. Así que gracias pollo Krunchy por no solo arruinar mi noche una vez más, sino por convencerme de que nunca vuelva a visitar tu comida para llevar, no solo porque te equivocas muy a menudo, sino por la actitud del personal que trabajas para ti, tenemos el mensaje FINALMENTE. Gracias también por hacerme ver lo que no debe ser, un personal rudo y hostil que ahora creo que recibe órdenes equivocadas deliberadamente, funcionó, nunca más gastaremos dinero en comida basura como la suya otra vez. Tal vez debería considerar esto como un favor.

Antes de comenzar, el pollo ya se veía blanco e incorrecto. . . . era crudo o el pollo estaba muy enfermo. ¡Esta fue la comida más repugnante que he tenido en mucho tiempo! Las patatas fritas eran asqueroso y el pollo era simplemente blanco y masticable. ¡Todo fue desagradable! Honestamente, ¡no podría haber sido peor!

Wrong order sent to our house. Took me around half an hour till they picked up my calls. Even just eat couldn't contact them. They let the phone ring but don't pick up. After notifying of the mistake it took another over an hour and half til it was fixed. Ordered at half seven. Received proper order at half 9.

We ordered 2 spicy chicken burger meals and a pizza; pizza was dry, paid an extra 40p for burgers that werent even spicy at all, took over an hour and its only a few minutes from my house, then when they finally arrived they forgot the pizza. When we called they didnt answer until the third call and then they finally brought the pizza. Definitely going to stick with pepes next time.

ordered food on the way home from town at around 21:15, the ordering process was straight forward and the delivery time was 22:05, this then changed to 22:25, food was delivered at 23:20. That is over two hours from the time that the order was placed. once the food was collected, the driver had no reason why the food was late other than they were busy, i understand this but after 10 unanswered calls it would have been nice to be informed. Sat down to eat a takeaway i no longer wanted, the cheesy chips look like they were melted three weeks last Tuesday and tasted like rubbish. As for the pizza? watch your windows, Frisbee incoming! will never be ordering from here ever again, will be looking for a refund too!

We order from here often and it's usually great. Tonight our orders were wrong, (one had more than it should and the other was a different meal deal totally) but it was still very good and it was delivered in good time.

the food was decent however whenever I order the chips are ALWAYS cold and taste like they were made hours ago!

Just a typical kebab shop food - fatty overcooked ribs, cold fries, nice onion rings (can they get those wrong?) and a distinctly thickish thin crust bog standard takeaway pizza - whoever gave these people 5 stars has very low standards!

Mis amigos fueron a buscar algo de comida porque estaba deseando un poco de pollo frito, les dije que se fueran a Kansas pero se fueron, tengo que decir que era desagradable que las hamburguesas estuvieran fritas 10 veces sin sabor y con sabor suave, el pollo fue difícil y no tuve gusto de hacerlo. Ni siquiera pueden hacer las simples hamburguesas y pollo de cerca para siempre.

Burger was done completely wrong Added in hot sauce - the person just couldn't eat the chicken burger at all Never been done that way before and no mention of it in description - had to be binned Chicken gravy pots have gotten 1/3 of the size of what they were and still same price

I ordered for spicy chicken sandwich but I got just the regular chicken sandwich. I mean, it's already happened for a few times and I'm a bit upset because that is my fav menu from your store. Hope you fix your service. Make sure you do what the customers order, okay. No hard feeling. I love Krunchy so much. ❤❤️

Always fast delivery and good food, but on several occasions they have missed off an item in the delivery. They do drop it off after ringing to complain, but it's still a pain and happens quite a lot compared to other places. Still, one of my favourite places due to speed of delivery.

The restaurant must have clicked delivered on their app as the website told me it had been delivered. However, there was no call to tell me that they were already here. I went down to see if the delivery was there but there was no one there. The delivery was supposed to due be for 22:10. I then called the restaurant to check the situation. They informed me that they had called me but I didn't pick up but I informed them that I had received no such call. After the call, I then double checked my account to see if my number was right and it was indeed correct. They informed me on the call that they would call the driver to check their whereabouts. I then received a call at 22:40 and only then did I receive my meal. I don't know if this was a mistake on behalf of the restaurant or the driver.
