Koriander Indian Takeaway in East Staffordshire

Ordered in advance, and was delivered a few minutes before the time I set. Food was incredible, the only gripe I have is the onion bhajis weren’t anything to write home about, but were still perfectly fine. Would 100% recommend and order again.

Good meal.pricey so won’t be a every week thing, but at least the quality is there

First time we’ve ordered a takeaway from coriander and to be honest it was disappointing. The meal arrived past the estimated just eat delivery time and to make matters worse the delivery driver forgot to drop off one of our meals! My wife’s tikka chicken masala was very sweet for some bizarre reason and I was expecting more if a spicy kick from my chicken balti, all I all, very disappointing for the extra paid

Food was good despite arriving 30 minutes late. We did however not receive one of the main meals ordered. We messaged the driver but received no response. I would therefore at Berle least expect a refund for the meal not provided and paid for.

This was the first time we had ordered a takeaway from Koriander and wow this is going to be a regular occurrence from now on! What an amazing menu with plentiful healthy options. The Cod Pakora, fish cakes and Tarka Daal were outstanding. The portion sizes were fabulous and those spicy chips were dreamy. Delivery was super early, food piping hot and just delicious. Can’t fault!

We love Koriander. Best Takeaway we have found in this area and we have tried them all! We order weekly and it is always first class and the delivery driver is so friendly too. Can't recomend enough.

Always a beautiful experience to eat their food, these guys totally get it. You can tell they really understand their menu because they’ve nailed the flavours and textures. Everything tastes super fresh and they’ve made it a point to have a healthy selection with gluten free and vegan options if you prefer them. The guy on the counter was helping some customers with complex dietary preferences while I was waiting and all of them found something great to eat. Even left my peri chips open so they didn’t steam up and go soggy- brilliant service and genuinely surprised me. 6* well deserved.

Perfect as always; piping hot and delicious. Ordered ahead and it was ready bang on time. Delighted with the addition of vegan katsu curry to the menu- it’s a new favourite! We have just finished our meal and my Dad has just declared that if he died now he’d die happy. Can’t get better than that!

Two visits in two nights whilst working in the area. The classic chicken tikka masala with chickpea and coriander rice with a red and green pepper naan bread. All very good.The menu is very diverse and everyone should be able to find something here. The second night I did not want another curry so went with the Persian Mixed Grill with boiled rice, salad and sumac (no I had to look it up but a zesty spice) all very good.I have another 8 to 10 meals to buy in the area this year - I will be eating my way through the menu. Very good food and friendly knowledgeable staff. They are really passionate about food.What more could you want?

Koriander continues to be the best Indian takeaway we have ever used, by a country mile. As a veggie, it's a particular treat to have them close by.

When we placed order it said 30 min delivery, when order was confirmed it had increased to 1 hour! And then they were 30 mins late on top of that! When restaurant was rang they told us the driver had left 5 mins ago, we rang again 30 mins later and they once again said driver had left 5 mins ago!Food was cold and the chicken tikka masala was watered down

We always order from here and usually it’s lovely. Tonight however the chicken was inedible, so dry and tough. Ended up throwing it away.

We have been regular customers at Koriander for the past year. See my previous reviews... everything has always been excellent in the past. But last time the manuka chicken was "watery", and this time the food had not arrived 30mins after the confirmed time from Just Eat, so I called. The guy went off and when he returned he said "we're just cooking your chips". I hadn't ordered any chips! So he went off again and then said they were just packing our meal for delivery. When it arrived, now a total of 45mins late, including time taken talking on the phone, the sauce for the biryani was missing so I called again. 15mins later it arrived, but was horrible. Like a sauce made from supermarket curry powder with some veg in it. Bland. Yuk.What is also weird is the way certain items are "unavailable" on the menu. Cheese nan is available, Garlic nan is available, Cheese and Garlic marked as unavailable. Balti and jalfrezi are available, Madras unavailable. Looks like we may be looking for a different Indian takeaway .

Koriander provides high quality food with plenty of tasty and healthy versions of Indian and Asian dishes. Takeaway food that really stands out from the crowd, I would highly recommend!

Ordered poppadoms & pickle tray for a starter but when it arrived, the poppadoms were missing!! I had to run out & flag the driver down to tell him, he rang up the restaurant & offered us a refund or he could deliver the poppadoms later so we went for that option, the Chicken Balti was very bland, tasteless!!! There was just chicken in a tasteless curry sauce

We have eaten regularly from Koriander. It was always good.Having not had a curry for a couple of months, we really fancied on tonight. Manuka Chicken Tikka and Lamb Balti, plus usual accompaniments. Food was absolutely beautiful, delivered by a friendly, polite driver, bang on time. Surprising really considering the road between Koriander and us is closed... so the driver had a 4 mile detour. Food was still hot and tasty and still seemed really fresh. I think it is the quality of the ingredients and the skill if the chef. Continues to be our favourite supplier of top-quality Indian food.

Superb quality food. A definite step up from your average takeaway. We use coriander as a treat once a month and every time it has been as good as an up market Indian restaurant. Keep up the good work.
