Nice experience, ordered the mixgrill ,was good amount for 2 persons, good vibes and friendly staff.

Another amazing meal, but this time bought the rest of the family with me. We all thought it was fantastic.. Amazing food and great staff. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

Very good. We didn't book ahead, and thankfully, they had availability on a Saturday evening. We were celebrating a birthday and only had to wait for a few minutes at the bar for a table to become available. Service was very good, but there was no complimentary drink or dessert for the celebration. However, it was well worth the visit and reasonably priced.

Once again ten out of ten! Arrived with my favourite companion in the world and even though the restaurant was full, we were still cared for by Firat and his friendly and professional team who delivered us (the best we’ve ever had) deep fried calamari, crispy salad and warm Turkish bread, followed by the juiciest and most tasty chicken and old school chunks chips. I particularly liked the seasonal table flowers and as seen in the accompanying picture, this Turkish red wine is one of the best. Thanks again for such a great experience 👏

First time I've been to a Turkish restaurant and I have to say it was excellent food was brilliant and not that expensive I recommend you try this restaurant you won't be disappointed 👍🙂

My wife and I returned here having visited a number of years ago. We booked because it was Valentine's night and they had reserved us a nice window seat. An excellent meal indeed at a fair price considering current high product prices. Lovely fresh Turkish bread to start with olive oil dip. My lamb kebab main was beautiful and I've eaten enough over the years for experience. Lovely soft lamb cubes, nicely flavoured and served with good quality saute potatoes and fresh salad. Attention to detail from the kitchen clearly evident here in the presentation. My wife also had lamb in a stew with rice, also delicious, no fatty portions, just lovely lean lamb. Gratis portion of Turkish delight to finish. Friendly and polite service No hesitation to recommend even for a discerning diner and we will return when in Harrogate Edward and Christine McAlpine

This is our second visit, and was the second place we booked after a Turkish Baths session. The experience is cosy, being an end-terrace it's like being in someone's home, with staff friendlier than some family members! The food is fantastic, freshly cooked and good value for money, and as for the Turkish Apple Tea...love it! The semolina cookies were not what I expected, more cake than cookie and soaked in a honey syrup, but my partner made sure they didn't go to waste. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with them, they just weren't to my taste, something to be aware of if you're expecting a crisp cookie!

Excellent food, and the staff are really friendly and attentive. They had time to chat to us and ask why we were visiting Harrogate. Our group holiday in Turkey, and the food here was as good as any of the restaurants we visit whilst on holiday. The prices are comparable to most restaurants in the UK, so not overly expensive. The food was piping hot and tasty and service was prompt, but we didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely visit again if in Harrogate.

First time here. really busy as a conference in town. Had to book a table for a 2hr slot only, although I guess no time limit when quiet. Good quality, traditional Turkish food. Kalamar starter was perfectly cooked, Chef Special (lamb cooked on the bone stew), was great. House wine by the carafe was fine, but relatively expensive. Staff pleasant enough considering how busy they were.

Wonderful meal - five stars for every aspect. The food was authentic, flavoursome and fresh, made with a finesse. I like that the menu isn’t too long yet offers a fantastic mix of meze starters, vegetarian, meat and fish dishes, specials and deserts. The lamb-stuffed aubergine was fantastic. Good wine menu including Turkish wines as well as European and new world, plus decent beers and ales. The restaurant is located in what used to be an old Georgian house in the centre of town, the setting gives a warm, well lit, cosy ambiance with (importantly!) good acoustics so you can enjoy a conversation. Friendly and discrete service, no charge for extras such as bread and table water. Highly recommend. Will return, including for the daytime cafe set up.

Ottoman taste of Turkish food, some dishes never tasted before. Karnıyarık was lush stuffed aubergine with lamb, nice and succulent. Generous portions, felt a bit pressurised to order more starters by the waiter which was a bit uncomfortable.

Outstanding experience this weekend. From the moment we were greeted at the door we knew we were in for a treat. The staff were polite and friendly, the venue is intimate and the food spectacular. Harrogate is worth a visit but our main motivator from now on will be Konak Meze.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant tonight. Everything about our experience was first class. The food, the service, and the ambience were all superb. I recommend the Hummus, the Fine Beans, and any of the Lamb dishes. Everything was of the highest quality. It is so refreshing to be served by staff who seem to genuinely enjoy their job. We will definitely be back.

Went to Harrogate with my family just to visit the town for several hours. I Looked up nearby restaurants and this was one of the choices that came up. The food was irresistible and the staff were extremely kind. This restaurant left my family and I with a lovely impression of Harrogate. I would 100% go here again.

We picked this restaurant by chance without any booking. Very welcoming and friendly service. Plenty of options to select from the menu including traditionals. We were a family of four. We had a bottle of red wine, Arnavut Ciğeri (pan fried lamb liver in a tasty sauce) for starter, Ali Nazik (lamb on aubergine sauce), Kuzu Şiş (lamb on a skewer), Konak Grill (mixed grill) as mains, Baklava with ice cream as desert and Turkish coffee (husband got double raki) although some options not in the list to select for recommendation. Everything was delicious, prompt and would definitely recommend.

Overpriced and barely even kids portions,im not a big eater but had to go home and cook myself after a 100 bill.!Sukuk starter was 1 cocktail sausage sliced up,it did taste nice but are sausages really so expensive these days?mains were ok but just all potato and few cubes of chicken.I have eaten in other turkish resturants in harrogate and will definatly be going back to them,much better quality and bigger portions for a fraction of the price.

This place is fantastic! Lovely staff, incredible food and really knowledgeable about gluten free options. I could pretty much have everything and they had gf bread to accompany starters. The mixed grill was BRILLIANT. If you eat one at one place in Harrogate then make it this one! Cannot recommend this place enough. Will absolutely come again next time we are in Harrogate.

Had a lovely meal here last night. Made welcome, great service and most of all food superb. Flavorsome, fresh and well presented.Asked for wine recommendation and didn't try to upsell us. We had the house red and delicious, will try more Turkish wine! Appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and service both from experienced staff and new younger staff. My wife and I had a meal here and we could not have had a nicer experience. The service was excellent, the food the same, in a great atmosphere. My wife is dairy, gluten, and egg free and that did not create any issues so thank you!

Felt compelled to write a review after what was an utterly delicious meal. Every single bit of everything we ate was quite simply outstanding. The selection of cold meze we started with all had a wonderful depth of flavour and a real sense of freshness; the best I can remember ever having. The main courses were amazing; my partner raved over the Imam Bayildi that she had while I was lucky enough to try the lamb special of the day. Slow cooked lamb in a lovely rich sauce with veg and potatoes. The lamb was beautifully tender and incredibly flavoursome. The whole dish was fantastic, even down to the small pieces of carrot that were among the accompanying veg. I’ve been eating carrots for over 50 years and I genuinely can’t remember eating carrot that was cooked and flavoured so perfectly! A small detail, but we found that every detail of the food, small and large was simply amazing. Needless to say that the next time we are back in Harrogate we will be beating a path straight back to this wonderful restaurant.

Every two years my wife and I come to Harrogate for a conference. We make a point of having dinner with Konak Meze because the food is amazing, the welcome warm and the staff superb. Yet again we have not been disappointed. Throughly enjoyed our meal and special congratulations to Tania for her recent award. So well deserved!!! See you again in two years

Five stars and beyond! Food totally amazing. Every mouthful enjoyed. Every course enjoyed too! Turkish wine was lovely. Service impeccable. Atmosphere wonderful. I would say there’s a need to book and I’m not surprised. Allergies very well catered for. Could not fault our evening. We’d driven up from Dorset to purposely stay in Harrogate for one night, on our way to our stay away for a few nights elsewhere, to come back to this restaurant and will look forward to returning again!

We had not booked but got a table which was luckily given how busy the restaurant was on a Tuesday. After eating I can certainly understand why it is so popular. Food excellent and service really professional and good. Could not fault anything about this restaurant.

As a group of 13 going to a concert in the Royal Hall we booked an early bird meal here. We made arrangements beforehand and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful to make sure we were out in time for the concert. On arrival we were made very welcome and everything was ready for us. We had a selection of starters and main courses and all looked great and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was great and staff friendly and helpful. It made a great start to our evening! I selected the restaurant as we had been as a couple and had had a great meal and service and even with large numbers there was no drop off in service. Would highly recommend to give it a try. PS The concert was excellent too!

What a fabulous evening! Both the food and the service were fantastic. A wonderful dinner, everything was amazing - the wine, dinner and dessert. From the moment we arrived through to our leaving the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. My husband and I took my parents, who are visiting from Arizona, for dinner and they were so impressed with the meal and the professionalism and courteousness of the staff. Definitely a night to remember and we’ll surely return the next chance we get!

There was a wide range of dishes. My wife had spicy lentil soup and king prawns with asparagus while I started with lambs liver and then diced chicken with apricot , sultanas, almonds and honey. Fabulous food absolutely delicious.
