Koh-I-Noor in Bracknell Forest

Absolutely awful food grey tasteless and not fresh at all. Lamb keema really sloppy, chicken bhuna not fresh and saag aloo grey. Can’t tell you how bad this was and I don’t normally write reviews!

Excellent food wow, the biryanis to the grilled foods and chilliy paneeers best I've had my children aren't much eaters but they did go all in for this place an coming from a restraunt background flavour all tastes same to me in all restraunt but this did it for me highly recommended and great accommodative staff keep it up guys well done👏👏

run out of food. seems like left over food we had buffet food. waiter had no care for our needs. over priced and under delivered.

Called and booked a table for 9.30 tonight and when we arrived they said they were closed. We are staying at a hotel locally and took a cab to eat here. Rubbish. Given the service and hospitality glad to avoid the food.

We had the most fantastic buffet lunch on a Sunday. Food was so fresh, hot, really good range of different curries and sides. Really cheap for what you get, nice to try different curries that we shouldn’t normally order too….Would highly recommend and will be back!

Started to use this restaurant after Amir had been sold and went down hill. Food nowhere near as good as Amir but would do. Been to buffet on a Sunday a fair few times and selection is ok but all pretty bland. Always take our 9 year old son and this time got an itemised bill as asked for bill instead of just going to the till. They had charged us 3 adults instead of 2 plus a child. Now realise we've been overcharged by £7 for about a year which is probably 10 odd visits. No quibble when mentioned on this visit but attitude was poor. Be careful if you take the kids under 10 to the buffet. Get a bill to the table and check it.

Visiting my daughter in winersh, 5 of us Sunday Buffett, nice looking restaurant, choice of dishes was very good, food was very tasty, great value for the 14 pound, will be back next time we visit, I wish we had one near us like that in Barton on sea,

This used to be a very good takeaway restaurant but over resent the time it has totally gone downhill with very bad. Customers having to wait over 2 hours for takeaway meals when you contact them to find out what the problems are they kept making the same excuses every time for late delivery. I won't be going back and ordering from there again, the time before had the same problem, and they even sent the meal for six to the wrong address. This Indian restaurant has gone downhill and the service has become a joke.

Curries were bland and tasted of nothing , patia wasn’t hot and sour , didn’t taste of anything , tikka bhuna masala has been nice in the past but not tonight . There’s no consistency. You get a really nice curry one night but next time isn’t that great . 🙁

Had a lovely meal with family. Great food, setting and everyone were lovely! To top it all there was some trepidation as there was a lactose intolerance to take j to consideration but there was no issue at all. Lots of choice and every was very tasty. One of the most relaxed and straight forward meals out ever!

Tucked away in an unassuming residential area. Beautifully kept restaurant with attentive, friendly & smart staff. The food & service were wonderful, we will definitely be going again. Absolutely delicious!

Had a delivery Saturday night to a friend’s house, who recommended this restaurant. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and the very tasty food arrived 45 minutes later. I would definitely recommend.

A lovely evening dinning experience just when you can eat back in the restaurant after recent covid restrictions. Good table spacing and hygiene levels. Fantastic food as always, the best by far curry house in Bracknell. Highly recommend the lamb bone curry, cooked to your spice likeing so we had Madras. What a flavour, always better to eat in, poppadoms and breads never travel so well. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend as always.

So I don’t like Indian food tried few supermarket meal & a takeaway from another bracknell restaurant but didn’t like it my friend talked me into trying again so ordered from kori noor not expecting much but WOW !!! I’m converted absolutely gorgeous ordered on phone spoke to very pleasant well spoke lady took order perfectly food took awhile but it was Friday night so no real complaints there food was perfectly hot no warming up we ate everything & to be honest I can’t complain about any of it normally there’s something not perfect but not here everything was perfect 5* all round Well be seeing you soon Cheers Kohi noor

Order a take away arrived in 10 minutes must of been in microwave oven and had a really bad tummy, really gone done hill

Takeaway last night was just ok. Luke warm food. Butter chicken quite watery and not too much flavour. Chef special chicken slightly bland. Ingredients did not seem up to previous standards.

Good place for those who love food. I was amazed by their menu, they have much famous food. Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by an employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. The meal was served hot and excellent taste. The server was very friendly and helpful. Nice ambiance, caring service, big surprize every time food came to the table - it just looked so awesome and tasted even better!

Koh-I-Noor is overall Good enough good food good price good environment family portion separate. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Although it may been affected by the fact that I was with a group. 5 out of 5 .

Just had the most delicious home delivery meal from the Koch I Noor. Outstanding food and the best we have tasted in months. Over the past few months with lockdown and eating out the past couple of months we have been disappointed with lack of value for money, quality of food, and choice. I can honestly say tonight knocked spots off recent eating experiences! We had king prawn bhuna which was amazing, plump juicy prawns and plenty for cost. The chicken tikka main gorgeous tandoor taste of delicious chicken breast. Keep up the great standard of delicious food.

Another lovely meal at the Kohinoor. Everything was served perfectly and was delicious. Great portion sizes as well. The only gripe was a delay in getting our poppadoms as we were all hungry!

Although the food was delicious the service was very poor. From the time our main course was served we were virtually ignored. No one asked us if we wanted deserts or more drinks. We had to wait ages for our bill. Not worth the money

I have lived in Bracknell for nearly 17 years and my family and I often ate there and have local Friday night takeaways. However, in recent years we have encountered a very poor excuse for a Manager. She is rude, aggressive and ignorant, to say the lease. She TOTALLY lowers the high standard of Koh I Noor that we have come to enjoy and expect, its owner and the rest of his team. She clearly has an attitude problem, and does not understand the importance and/or relevance of good customer service nor impact her behaviour has not only on the rest of the Business. I have visited many times and could hear her aggressiveness on the phone and have personally experience it myself, first hand.She needs to undergo some serious customer focused training and learn how to diffuse situations instead of inflaming them. Shouting over customers, aggressively telling them to bring back food when they are trying to explain a problem and pretending to be the owner when she is out of her depth is not appropriate. There is no problem with all the other staff at this establishment, this arrogant woman needs to understand that she has no place in a customer focused environment.

Food of so poor quality that i will never eat here of from here again. The only thing we finished was the popadoms and even those the mint youghurt had split. Onion bhajis burnt to a crisp, bhuna murg tasteless and dry. Rasala think someone poured dried coconut into the korma sauce and threw in chicken. Really dusappointed as had heard good things about the place. Meal should of been around 40 quid and with government covering 20 we shoukd of paid 20....but no it was 57 quid and we were charged 37. Seriously it wasnt worth £20...have had beter in every other indian establishment in Bracknell, even the converted tiolet up in crownwood. Anyone really wushing a good meal recommend trying the Shahi in wildridings, not as nice inside as the kohinoor but food so superior. Regarding Social distancing a friend/daughter of the table next to us decided it was ok to stand and talk to her fruend/mother the whole time we were there. They were at a table for 2 and this 3rd interloper was never asked to leave just stood talking during our whole very disappointing meal. AVOID THE PLACE.

Absolutely shocking. This restaurant has extortionately increased their sit-in prices to exploit the government eat-out scheme. They have increased mains by at least £4.00 (in our case from £7.75 to £11.95) and starters, sides, rices, breads etc by a couple of quid each. Instead of saving £20 from the scheme we saved £3.00 compared with the pre-scheme prices shown on the website! Even if the food was well priced, it still wouldn’t be worth it. Below standard food and poor service. Avoid.

Tonight myself and my partner went out in group. Looked on the website at the prices and thought this was going to be good.Food was delicious but when it came to pay at the end they had put all their prices up by £3.00! We worked out from their website my partner and I would have spent £45.40 without the government help out to eat out scheme (deducting £20 From our order). Instead we paid £43.10 included the governments scheme! This is appalling, and showing they are certainly exploiting the governments scheme and the people eating there. Very disappointed!

Had a takeaway last night and it was just as good as eating in. The food was well prepared, well packed and piping hot.

Had a take away this evening, ordered it at lunchtime for 6pm delivery. It arrived spot on time, hot, well packed and most importantly delicious! Will be ordering again 👍

Just had a fantastic takeaway from this well established Indian . I had a chicken Madras which I really couldn’t fault, Pilau Rice and Onion Bhaji . Probably the best Madras I’ve ever had and I’d definitely recommend.

Very disappointed have been as eat in many times as a family tonight ordered a takeaway 3times gave my card number as 3 times refused but it was them inputting the wrong number card eventually went through when they actually listened to what was said, our food was delivered 3 doors down and they only noticed when he went out to his bins, some of our order was missing the rest was cold so phoned shop very very very unhelpful so I will be taking this further

Always use this takeaway , spent £50 for 3 of us ( not cheap ) asked for a mild lamb curry turned up I couldn't even taste it it was that hot ! Also asked for 2 plain rice received pilau . When i called i got a very grumpy lady asking for the rice back ... um no i put it on a plate with the awful curry ! I didn't want korma then they turn up with lamb korma. It was all very cold and also we found a small stone in the other curry, Will i get a call ... i doubt it... £50

Since the lockdown we have been having a weekly takeaway on a Saturday normally I have a jalfrazi but today I had a Vindaloo and after working in India it was authentic Really excellent without the potato which is normal in the uk but not original Excellent

Went with my work colleagues as we were there on a course. There was the standard fayre and we ordered the mixed grill, fish, rice and some garlic nans. These were washed down by a half decent red. The lady that served us was attentive.

Had a meal for four here. All the dishes were tasty, the restaurant was a pleasant place to be and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely eat here again.

Very friendly staff. Amazing to have proper linen napkins. i'm a messy eater so much appreciated. Tandoori Chicken Chilli Wala hits the spot. The Corn Rice adds a nice twist. Next time we are back in England we will definitely go again.

Cancelled event last minute after months of planning and organisation from a third party. Will never be eating here again, and neither will any of my friends.

Great good, great service. This is our favourite Indian restaurant locally and has been for many years. We had an excellent meal, even though we were a large group the staff were not at all phased. Highly recommended.

We eat here from time to time, the food is always top quality, never had a bad experience. Tonight we rocked up around 23.20 and they still accommodated us..... I work in the restaurant trade and I know how it feels when that late table walks in.... I can highly recommend this restaurant for the exceptional food and the fabulous service...... Big thank-you to Krishna and his front of house team for accommodating us and the kitchen team for the amazing food

We decided to try this restaurant hoping it would be worth it. The waiter, I guess the head waiter, is rude and doesn't know how to treat customers. He cleaned the table from the main who accidentally dropped on the cloth with his hands while my husband was still eating right next to him. Moreover he pointed at my husband as he was trying to get something cheap while ordering starters and main course....the question my husband asked was just about the size of the dish while he (the waiter) told my husband in a very rude way that he could have not get a size main for a starter (not what my husband meant) just to have it for a cheaper price. The food is not even good.The prawns were tasteless and so the tandoori.Nobody but a sweet waitress greeted us while leaving even though most of them were at the bar and nobody helped me with the door as I was holding my baby and carrying the car seat with the other hand.Terrible is not enough!We will not come back

Went with friends for the Sunday buffet. It was much better food than any other Sunday buffet ive been to in the area. As well as popadoms and chutneys they also had a couple of deserts included. Friendly (humorous) staff. I have not tried their main menu yet but will do shortly.

This is the worst take away I’ve ever had! The korma was like a milky sauce and tasteless. Chicken saag was nasty. The mushroom nice was ok! This was like no other Indian I’ve ever had and would not order from here again.

There are not many indian resturants in Brackenll but we managed to find a gem,Although the location is far from idyllic the returant couldnt be faulted.The food and service second to none and would recommend this palce to anyone.

We went to Koh I Nor for a birthday celebration. The head waiter could do with some customer service lessons. As he was seating another group of people he said you will be done by 8pm won't you as we have another booking! The food was ok but looked like loads of dishes of the exact same colour sauce but with just different meat in them. The dishes didn't really taste any different either. The lightening in there is strange it made everyone look like the hulk.it was ok but I probably wouldn't go back

We eat here regular and also get home deliveries. The food is always excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere as well.

We usually order take away from the restaurant but opted for a sit down meal last night.

Every December we have an annual Christmas curry at Koh I Nor. It never disappoints the keema naan is incredible, still the best ever. The Gurkha Chicken is my favourite and always ordered and a success. The popadoms are crisp and not greasy and the lime pickle always just right.

Good local Indian restaurant that service good food at a reasonable price. Good selection on the Sunday buffet at a reasonable price. Offers take always with collect or deliver. There is also a small bar with stoles which is good whilst you are waiting for a take away but this area does get loud when staff stand around talking there when you are seated in the restaurant. Worth a try.

Very friendly staff and wonderful food.Always hot and lots of choices.The Sunday Buffet is really good and at lunchtime not too busy so you get really good service.You can order extra items other than the buffet or go for their normal menu and cooked to your taste as well.Very very clean.

I am not an Indian food expert but when it come to the meals I like - no-one does better - tandoori prawns, chicken & lamb tikka, prawn puri, naan & pilau rice - no-one can match them. Over 10 years of service & countless meals across UK & Europe- No-one does these dishes better than Koh-I-Noor.

Good local Indian food. Parking not great but ok for pick ups. Seating in the bar area and outside to have a beer whilst your waiting for a take away. There is a full restaurant if required. Would recommend so long as you can get round the parking. Plse like if this helped.

I used to eat at this restaurant 20 years ago it was fabulous. I have moved to another town and my sons and brother decided to visit again this evening, along with my daughter.I booked a table and we sat by the door as there was no air con, but a fan was was provided. Ordered drinks and pomodoms which were nice but it all went wrong when the food arrived!

If you really fancy a curry, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and can promise that you wont be disappointed. They have an excellent menu with a variety of different choices so there is something for everyone.

I am very surprised to read the terrible review regarding the buffet. My family and I came into the restaurant on Sunday for the Buffet. Well what can I say, we were greeted by very friendly staff who could not do enough for us.

We have been going for Sunday buffet and meals approximately 4 times a week for years, we went last week expecting the same buffet as we have always enjoyed to find the selection of soft sweets had been replaced with hard boiled lolly pops.

Heard about this restaurant and finally decided to try it. Excellent food and great, friendly service. Can thoroughly recommend it. It was busy too.

I was bored of eating at my hotel as i frequently stay in the Bracknell area, I was kind of apprehensive about visiting as one of the past comments was 'do not be put off, as this is in the middle of a housing estate' how right they were, all though I did wait until it was light before driving there to see for myself what the area and restaurant was like.

The local Indian restaurant and take away. Good service with a smile. We always order take away and then sit at the bar with a cold beer whilst we wait. Good varied menu and tasty. Would recommend.

We came here for a Sunday buffet, it was tasty but a little on the pricey side. I would like to return, but would like to try the dinner menu next time. Plenty of parking around.

Was here on 27th of March in group of six. The food was delicious and the service exceptional. Our Nepalese waiter could not have been nicer to us as we were in Bracknell for my mother in laws funeral. I would recommend the Koh-i-noor to everyone in the Bracknell's area to give it a try.

Good choice and plenty of it was a complete steal at £12!

Part of a large group of various tadtes. We had startets and mains. Draught beer had a strange vineg type smell but was replaced with bottled cobra without drama. Food was hot tasty and varied in spice. One of the group felt that there was "too much smoked paprika"... for his taste...... but other than that the dishes were generally pretty good. Bill was accurate and not charged for the queried draught lager. All in all a good meal. Thanks...

Have been before and am happy to report that it's just as good. A little oasis in a sea of mediocre. Sorry local shops you need to clean the place up. Use this nice restaurant as a template for how to do it.
