This place is an absolute gem. We went to a comedy night last weekend and had drinks before. Amazing atmosphere, down to earth staff. We usually get food but we arrived late..their food is absolutely amazing. Amazing spot

Went to get food , but needed I’d , no alcohol beverages where wanted just food !, no harm a joke was rude and all 20 year friend group looking food and needing to show id , it’s a joke . Don’t reccomend

Was ok. Then a musical duo turned up. They were excellent. Gonna give it 5 stars just for that. Staff friendly too. We ended up takin a goofy pic. Check it out. Evidence of fun.

Great bar, nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and lots of good whiskey (but not much whisky 😁). Well worth a visit in Portrush.

We had our daughters 9th birthday in kiwis and the play house today and it was brilliant. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with a particular mention for Kris and Pinky who made the day really special. The food was lovely, including providing for some of the children's dietary needs and the cinema was fantastic for an alternative kids party venue. Highly recommend.

Service slow,chicken wings overcooked,loaded fries drowned in Tabasco sauce. Chicken goujons really nice: not be back for food

Having spent the evening in Kiwi’s, I experienced the best service from the staff. The staff were up for the craic, very sociable and made a good pint of Maggies Leap. The decor of the venue provides a chill atmosphere. I’ve had the food before and it’s a solid 10/10. The music played provided a feel good atmosphere and the sport on the TV was great too. Central location and a great place to call for a tipple.

The alcohol is great but some of the staff are rude.

The new wings are off the hook, bigger with loads of meat on the bone and very little gristle. The slight charring of the hot sauce on them adds a belter texture and taste. Accompanied by a Lacada beer and Liverpool on the big screen makes for a tidy evening. Staff as always warm and friendly 👊

Went in for kiwis wings, tried to phone ahead to make sure it was available, no ans, got there and there was no wings available, fine, they made the dish with chicken tenders which was nice enough £4 more expensive per serving but at the time I wasn’t overly bothered by it, we then ordered the footling hot dogs with salt and chilli fries. The hot dogs are use for nothing but the dogs dinner, greasy and no flavour, some soggy onions and some jam flavoured salsa. The salt&chilli fries were fries covered in chilli flakes and very large salt flakes, could clearly see it had been damp stored and was just large lumps of salt. The service was mediocre at best. The man that told me the wings were not available didn’t even look up from his phone and it felt like a hassle for the boy behind the bar to take our order. Not impressed at all, the meal alone was £60 which was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Absolutely terrible place for food, I’m a local and won’t be returning.

The comedy night was terrible! Rubbish comedians and not enough seating and was forced to stand through the poor show. Dozens of people standing!

Excellent. We love this place! I really highly recommend the "Dirty Chick" burger, this is my absolute favourite here. The rest of the menu is fantastic also.

Enjoyed our night. Bar staff great. Entertainer was good but could have had a personality...was a bit dull.

Great wee bar with amazing food! Only came here to have a pint and then move on to a resturant for food. Had a look at the menu and decided to have food here. The food was amazing! So glad we stayed here for the food. Brilliant service and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back here next time we are in the port.

A cracking venue to watch the world cup rugby. A big screen with other smaller screens dotted around.

Need to put kitchen opening times up online somewhere, disappointed we couldn't try and wings or loaded fries as they all looked good but kitchen was closed 😔 staff are all very friendly though nice chilled out atmosphere

Go for the atmosphere not for the portion size. Kids enjoyed their burgers. My dirty fries were less exciting.

The music and crowd was much better than other pubs we visited while in portrush.

Congratulations on winning pub of the year by the industry, no question why. Very great place for a family, friends, and to take a lovely date. Really thought they were friendly and welcoming.

Great venue for music, fantastic whisky selection!

Mega freundliches Personal, coole junge Typen. Durfte Bier testen vor der Bestellung. Essen war Okay. Die Pizzen sind ganz gut, genauso wie die Dirty Fries.

Lovely place, seemed to be short on staff, food was good, though a bit disappointed that with the bar's name there was a lack of New Zealand wine or anything. On saying that I would go again

Great food, great beers and great atmosphere

Popped in to watch a Euro 2024 qualifying game and enjoy a Guinness at £5.40. The only bar in the town showing the game. Probably why the others were almost empty? The bar was busy with most patrons enjoying food. Lot's of empty plates suggesting food was good. Makes me want to visit again for a meal.

With the bold claim of having the best bar food in portrush, we were feeling optimistic. However, the food was rubbish. The chicken goujons were dripping in oil, the salt and chilli chips had enough salt to cause a heart attack (see picture) and the “salad” as stated on the menu consisted of a singular piece of limp lettuce. Do not waste your time.

Nice chaps serving, but hardly a craft pub. Three local taps from the same place (75 miles away) next to Guinness, Magners, Coors (!), and Tenent’s.

Guinness was just ok , tennent's was just ok , jawbox gin in a wee stumpy glass and no honeycomb, paying good money and let down and don't think I'll be back

Limited menu but good quality burgers, pizza, chips etc. Very limited vegan/vegetarian options.

Pizza, burgers, dirty fries and hot wings.....spot on! Pizza was very good with a lovely thin base and hot wings were exactly what you would expect. I will definitely go again. I would try to find somewhere more quiet to sit next time, that's not a criticism, it's just what I prefer.

Was hungry and it was 8pm on an April evening and I was recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Staff really was excellent, friendly and chatty and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar too

A fantastic bar with a great selection of great tasting food. There was a great atmosphere with live music and live sport on TV.

Good pints, great for the rugby and had the chicken burger which was excellent! The only thing that let it down was it was very cold on the middle floor and didn't have the best atmosphere for the two non Irish games! Still a great spot and will be back 👌🏻

Great venue for live comedy every month at Kiwi's Comedy Club. Food is superb as well highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza 🍕😊

Superb bar in Portrush. Friendly staff with a great selection of beers on tap and in the bottle. Really good grub and shows live sports. All you need in a bar really. Our go to spot when in Portrush.

Watched Liverpool v Man u. Two men in bar cursing loud, at times racist and being provocative. Children present. No security in bar or staff did not intervene. Could have developed into confrontation.

The burgers and Pizza were tasty. We had 'Sausy Jane' and 'Bomb Scare'. The Maggies Leap IPA was delicious.

A great intimate cinema experience which brought back memories of when I was a regular in my late teens. Lovely bar offering a selection of the usual drinks as well as cocktails. I have yet to try their food but I've had a few people relay to me that it's good. Nice and relaxed atmosphere too.

Was in here for the first tonight. I can't wait to get back. The staff where really friendly. The bar was very busy when we where in for food. But it didn't take long to get sorted. Would definitely recommend the BBQ chicken pizza and the salt and chilli fries best I've ever had. The burgers are great as well. Definitely worth the 30mile trip we had to get there ♥️

Quiet when we were in. World Cup on tv, few folk snacking on dirty fries and pizza that looked and smelt good. Settled in for a few nice pints served by very pleasant barmen with beards. Will be back again.

Spent a lovely Saturday afternoon in our newly discovered bar/pub. It's a hidden gem. Where do I start? This place is a haven from the hustle and bustle. A place where the music is as diverse as the drinks selection. The food menu seems limited but the food is far from it. The "Dirty Fries" were a surprise as to the quantity and the taste. Maybe asking for the extra Jalapenos made it special. Staff are friendly and courteous and I will be back as it is the first time in ages where conversation was more important than posting on Facebook etc. 5 stars Returned and had the Blackened Cajun Chicken Salad. Perfect.

What an amazing venue. A step back in time with a touch of the here and now. How lucky is Portrush to have this place. Theatre brought me back to my childhood.

Great bar we visited both nights we were in Portrush! Thank you to Jack, Josh, India, and several others for the top notch service!! The bar also featured live music that was a treat to listen to. If ever in the area again, we would definitely return!

Nice vibe and lovely place. Burgers were quite expensive though and not great, really bland and lacked flavour. Not worth the money...

First time in kiwi bar on Saturday night had to wait wee while on my dirty Mexican fries but well worth it. Will definitely be back good friendly atmosphere and craic was great

Food was really good, definitely eat again. The atmosphere was amazing, me an my daughter loved the live singing. Would highly recommend this place to families an for a nite out with friends etc. Can't wait to get back again
