Spicy mince pizza 🍕 I'm still looking for the spice.. to be brutally honest it's not even edible. It tasted like just cheese n mince, no spice to it at all. Disappointing

Without doubt the best kebab I have had,got the mixed and all the meat was superb,my wife got the lamb garam masala and that was amazing also..First time in a while been to Kirky,can't wait for next time.Well Done to all the staff.😁👍

Only ordered a couple of times but the tandoori mixed grill is excellent - perfectly seasoned and cooked meats, and beautifully presented too which does make a difference! The donner hoagi is a generous size with plenty sauce and the complimentary spiced onions were the best we've had in a long time. Had a plain chicken omelette with chips before too and that was done just right as well. First time order was on Just Eat a month or so ago - arrived promptly, polite delivery driver. Second time I stopped by on the way home from work - couldn't fault the counter service, friendly and efficient. Looks newly decorated and very clean- comfortable place to sit while waiting on the order.

Top class food at a reasonable price. Chicken Tikka Calzone was huge,I only managed half of it and it was delicious 10/10 🤤

Awful food all round! Avoid like the plague. 2 bad and inedible curries, 2 rice that were over cooked and bland, 2 naans that were awful. Made us sci-fi and owner will not offer refunds or take responsibility when confronted about it.

Ordered a tandoori sizzler was lovely and ordered a spicy chicken kebab is wasn't very nice the pitta bread was soggy and the salad you couldn't make out as drowned in sauce. The chicken in the kebab was cold. So £8.00 for some chicken as pitta bread and salad needed to be binned. Wouldn't go back.

Worst I've had in a long time. Salt n chilli chips were overpowered with Chinese 5 spice. The chicken pakora was full of small pieces and tasted strongly of cauliflower. Sore stomach all day

I had a lamb bhuna but I found the lamb a bit to chewy for my liking having lived in Glasgow most of my life I think I can say with some authority that I've definitely had a much better lamb bhuna disappointing

Beautiful lamb garam masala, also Chana masala and chicken pakora. Lovely tender meat and decent sauce. My only complaint is the chips, I ordered chips but got fries. The portions weren't huge but overall I was impressed.

What was a good shop not now got food tonite and what a poor portion (donner kebab) across the road far better they no how to make a portion Both taste good but you can't finish across the road were mahal your looking for the rest of it

i am a key worker and on my way home after picking my wife up we opted to have a take away fro the Kirky Mahal Kirkintilloch .We ordered a chicken bhuna and rice veg pakora and chapatis . We were so looking forward to the meal after a long hard day at work. We were absolutely disappointed with the meal the chicken was in blocks and I’ve got to say it was rubber and rock solid binned it after one bite also the pakora was burnt to a crisp cold and very greasy . I had a meal from here last year and to be honest wasn’t much better however I decided that surely that was a one off I can honestly say that it has put me off and I won’t be back would have been better spending £15.00 buying the ingredients and making our own totally angered and annoyed I think they need to have a good look at who makes their food

Got this on the way back from work got up at six in the morning never ate till I got this at 5 I've had kebabs from Inverness to London even a microwave one and everywhere inbetween I can't even explain how bad it was I was starving and thru it out but if you enjoy thick cut white greasy slimy expired smelling grissle filled doner then this is the place for you

Ordered food at 6:30pm. Nothing huge , pizza, pakora and a bags of chips. Still waiting nearly 2 hours after several false promises. Used to be great. Won’t be going back

Ordered 3 curries 3 rice 2 nan breads a large donner kebab arrived within half an hour, paid the driver and opened the box to find 3 curries 2 nan breads 1 rice 1 kebab, phone the shop and explained only 1 rice he said that is all I ordered, I told him no I repeated the order of 3 curries 3 rice 2 nan breads 1 kebab, he responded I will get the driver to bring rice it's £4.20 I laughed and said excuse me this is your fault not mine and while I await rice the food goes cold, anyway the driver was brilliant and totally went out his way to try make me happy, I paid the extra and started our food, the bebab meat was not nice at all and the curries had loads of water floating around the plates, the only good thing was the garlic nan, now I've used this place for years and never had a problem, last night just finished it for me with this shop, I won't be returning and I will try elsewhere, TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING.....

This place used to do the best tandoori mix grill, went back recently and the dish was terrible. Small bit of dried out tandoori, a few other poorly prepared pieces of tikka. Portion size small too Ill never be back

My wife and i collected two donner kebabs with extra sauce plus 1 portion chicken pakora on Sat about 5.30. The best takeaway food we have tasted in a long-time. Super tender chicken and superbly tasty kebab. Will definately be back. Thank you.

Me and my partner loved the food it's delicious . I would reccomend it to anyone . I think this will be a once fortnightly experience for us . Such a lot on the menu I'm wondering how long it will take me to eat my way through it 😁

Brilliant Indian the chicken pakora is the best

Was excited to hear that Jas was back. Ordered a Himalayan hot pot. Tasted exactly like the last two curries i ordered which are different by name. The sauce had absolutely no texture or variety. Totally different from the Himalayan hot pot Jas used to make. The pakora was overcooked and bland. Bring back the old days Jas, the Mahal and Jas used to rival even the best restaurants but now everything is just reheated and bland.

Anoche estuve en un par de brochetas de pollo tikka y, después de llevarlas a casa a comer, me decepcionó mucho lo que recibí. El kebab regular tenía 4 piezas y ni siquiera lo pusieron en un recipiente, estaba envuelto en papel. Hay lugares que hacen un trabajo mucho mejor y no cobran tanto. No volveré

Ordered a small donnee kebab and chips on Sunday night. It states on the menu that all donners are served with pitta. Girl then confirmed on the phone that it would be £6.10. My sister ran in to pick up the order and the man charged her £7.20 but she didnt know any different and only noticed when she arrived home with my food. Phoned up to ask why she'd been charger more and they said i asked for large with nan instead of pitta which i didnt. We got total blame and got hung up on. Then phoned back and they said the managed was extremely busy and he'll phone us back within the hour... still havent got a phone call and its now tuesday. Would never use again as god knows how many people he's trying to rip off. May only be £1 but if he done that to evedy customer....

Had a takeaway curry, really really poor. No flavour, didn’t even taste like Indian food for some reason. Shouldn’t be serving food like that.

Ordered through the Just Eat App. They couldnt get the order right. Food was abysmal how can you burn pizza? And South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken dont make me laugh this was a tub of brown slop which was comparable with the contents of my toddlers nappy!. Called to offer feedback and spoke to the manager, he told me the order was correct, eh no it wasnt. And then hung up on me...not the best customer service. There is no way i would recommend this place to my worst enemy. The only person that i will recommend visits here will be the environmental health department!

Normally really good. Got carry out last night. It arrived cold. The onion badjies were brick hard and cold. My wife's sagg curry was disgusting to say the least. My South Indian garlic was not very chillies and the lamb tasted like it was reheated. Won't be going back

Ordered a delivery... Chicken supper...chips ice cold. Ordered black pudding instead got something supposed to be a rib..went in bin. Ordered a small individual pizza.. Wrong size. Ordered kids chicken nugget meal..can of juice missing. Ordered curry sauce from INDIANS-GET CHINESE CRAP CURRY SAUCE. 25 down the drain. Absolute crap. Never again...

I'm giving the Kirkie Mahal 4**** based on previous experience over 20+ years when I found them to be very good. However, I do see a complete change of staff now that I'm here for the first time in 6 months. I'll give a new review after I've had the full experience of the service and more importantly the food. The prices are unbeatable. Now that I've had my meal I can tell you that the 4****have not changed. In a nutshell : The service was good, Friday 5:00 , waited to collect for only 15mins . As I said before, prices are unbeatable. Most important, the food quality was great for the price and the quantity was very impressive. I'll be back again more often. It MAY have had a change of ownership and that could be the reason for earlier negative reviews.

I don't know what has happened but they have gone down hill in the past year. Used to be great service nice food and good staff. Now you can wait 20 mins just to order let alone get the food the staff seem ready for an argument and food is often cols. There is only so many 2nd chances you can give

The Kirky Mahal used to be a great takeaway. Now food is bland, often greasy and service can be slow. Chippy was good when it first opened but no longer. Won't be back.
