Had a wonderful evening upstairs in the green room private function. From the day we put our deposit down we were looked after! From help deciding on best food options and drink to reminders of our evening approaching. We had about 40 guests and there was plenty of room, food was good and as ordered and the two bar staff were brilliant, very friendly and super capable and the party was a huge success!! Thank you

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. The fish is exquisite, everything tastes incredibly fresh. I have to say as a regular, what makes our visit extra special is Dominique's extra level of care and friendly welcome that really makes us coming back for more. This is my favourite pub in North London. I’m constantly doing work or meeting with friends for a drink at the kings head - It’s perfect for all occasions. The best part about this pub is Dominique. She’s the most welcoming and entertaining person and she is the reason why many people go back to visit. By far the best hot chocolate in north London for sure. You HAVE to go to the kings head!! Always amazing service by Domaniqe who I have thought was running the establishment for a long time, always friendly well presented and helpful, food is always on point you can't go wrong with both front and back of house service and that's comming from a professional chef who has been at the top of the industry, Dominique is a credit to the establishment well done! The food is consistently good, and the service which was often hit and miss, is now fixed. We booked for a New Year Eve lunch, as had many other people. Good atmosphere, on time service, nice food.

We booked our Christmas dinner here. It was expensive at £100 a head for the adults and £50 a head for my 6 yr old and for my under 2 yr old! So we had high hopes . Awful service, waiting almost an hour for our starters without an apology. We were offered “complimentary” hors d’oeuvres which were X2 leaves of a little gem lettuce with finely chopped feta, tomato and cucumber on between 5 of us!!! Eventually our underwhelming staters arrived followed by a dull main course. My mum’s meal was missing parsnip and cranberry sauce which the staff couldn’t care less about when I mentioned it to them. All in all the staff seemed unhappy to be there and their focus seemed to be on sending tray after tray of fancy looking hors d’oeuvres to a private party upstairs. It’s such a shame as were local and had it been a good day we would have returned annually as it is I would warn anyone off. Really overpriced and horribly disappointing, never again.

We enjoyed our Christmas Day lunch. Good atmosphere. A few things stop me from giving 5 stars - our son, who is 18, wasn’t served any alcohol because he didn’t have his ID. Bit grinchy I thought, especially as he was with his parents! The scallop starter was in a shell, which sat on a bed of salt. I didn’t realise and ended up with a VERY salty starter! My fault but seemed a strange thing to put on a plate without mentioning it. The main was good - no need for the tiny piece of duck breast though - I would have preferred some pigs in blankets personally. The veg was good though and portion size very generous. I liked the extra courses in between - nice touch. Service was organised and at the right pace. Overall I would recommend.

We (party of 17) had Xmas lunch in The Green Room upstairs at The KIngs Head. Everything was excellent, from decor and ambience of the room, to the food, drink and service. Our dedicated waitress (Lucy) was an absolute star. Thanks to Piers, Marta and all the team.

We took my mum to The King's Head as a birthday treat on 10th December. Food was excellent, service was great and we had a thoroughly good time. Will be coming back soon.
