King Kebab in Exeter

Food arrived (from approx half a mile away!) lukewarm. Quality was reasonable, nice base on the pizzas. Value was poor - charged £2.50 for additional donner meat and got 6 or 7 short, thin strips on top (barely worth 50p!). Really disappointing, would not order from here again

I’ve been ordering here for a while and the food is usually good. Tonight the deliver took nearly 2 hours and the food was all like warm. When I called the restaurant to chase it up after the estimated delivery time they told me it was my fault because of where I lived. Won’t be using them again.

This is the first time l haven't been pleased with the delivery from King Kebab.The pizza was almost cold & hard to chew. The omelette also was just warm. This was very disappointing as l've always been happy with my deliveries.

I tried doner and beef burger - both were super nice. I’m not a big fan of mince doner but my wife liked it and it was quite a big portion. The employees were super friendly as well! My understanding is that this is a nice small family business

The food so good, I think they get loads of orders which means there can be a longer wait but it’s worth it.

Pre ordered my food, the tracker proceeded in good time and showed the order has delivered, but I didn't receive the food. I tried calling but couldn't get through for a while. Eventually the food arrived 45 mins later. Other than that, good as usual.

Portion size was complety wrong I payed £14 for an extra large and this is just a large , I’ve bought both before.

Very helpful staff and always enjoyed our food wether it be kebabs, the sides, the pizzas and so on we’ve not had a complaint do far! Thankyou

Not received the food so why is it saying enjoy your food, surly they should not do this until it has been delivered ?

Can’t ever fault the service. Always arrives before allocated waiting time,hot,fresh and tasty. Delivery person is always happy and makes conversation no matter the weather or how busy they are. 5 star customer service.

Really cold. I live 3 minutes away. Lovely delivery driver but the timing of cooking the food and it arriving at my door (1hr 22min after ordering ) then to pay for cardboard cold food.

Cash only, no issue with that. Bought the xl as i was interested in the size comparison to a small to what my partner had. Almost 4 strips of kebab diffrence not worth paying the xl comparing to ther other sizes.

Food was late, no updates, unable to track driver and kebab was smaller than usual

Decided to try a Pizza from independent place instead of a chain. Always order kebabs from here, friendly staff and always looked after. Will definitely order Pizza from here again.

Was a real shame as the food was all cold even though it was 20 minutes early.

Food and service was excellent

Staff over the phone was really helpful. We were at the holiday inn express, had a reasonable offer on but the pizzas were nice and fresh when arrived.

Food isn’t terrible here but pricing is another story, you will have to speak extremely slowly either way to even get something ordered as staff either don’t listen or can’t understand simple English, even when it comes to putting cheese on chips they will still fail but charge you the same amount as if it was there…

Food arrived late and was cold as a result. Might have been good if it had been delivered hot.

I have had burgers from many shops so far. Their burger was the best. I can recommend you eat that one. Their beef was very delicious and looked so good cooked.

I went to this takeout kabab place today and was a little disappointed. The food was just mediocre. The chicken was cooked well, but the sauces were not homemade. I also found it strange that they don't carry chicken doner, which is a staple at most kabab places. The service was friendly. However, I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. My experience was just okay.

The food is well over priced but it's really nice.. Its a same you have to spend £30.00 or more just to get a kebab.

Food was very low quality, the doner meat was basically oil, the chilli sauce wasn't homemade, the chips arrived soggy and unsalted, the margherita pizza was one of the worst I've had. Very expensive aswell don't know why it has such a high rating this place maybe fake accounts creating reviews, if you want a good kebab don't go this place.

Poor salad no cucumber 😢 no red onions Change yourself a little, you don't only think about yourself, think about the customers, change your salad a little.

I noticed some hard blue plastic inside the neat which was a bit off putting, other than that it was great

The food was okay. The kebab meat had a few bones in it, so put us off. The price aswell we got charged for an X-large was not fair as we didn’t get an X-large portion.

I recommend the chocolate fudge cake - £2.50 for a huge slice of really good quality cake. The kebab was great too, loads of chicken with very fresh salad and genuinely fiery chilli sauce. Pleasantly surprised!

If i could give a 6 star i would. Just blowing away with the whole service, And for the portion it was enough to feed 4.. Well done lads and keep up the good service.. Cheers Billy.. 👍👍👍

Just ordered 2 small kebabs to be delivered,nicest kebabs we’ve ever had! Zero grease! Couldn’t finish them! Highly recommend!

Wrong order, food was not nice,

Not a bad option for a doner kebab. Could do with a bit better cooked meat and a nicer garlic sauce. But otherwise not bad. Clean establishment and friendly enough staff.

Lovely kebab, piping hot , pitta was soft and fresh, chips were perfect , just the right amount of salad and sauce .

Friendly service and tasty chicken shish, you can tell the meat is well marinaded - would be 5 star with a better quality pitta put inside the box to soak up juices and if 10% discount for ordering collection via the website was honoured.

Kebab was terrible and undercooked.cause stomach upset..Never buy from this place again.wonder throw they got 4.4 rating.rubbish

Really don't understand it king kebab have been fantastic until tonight order at 19.15 , phone at 20.30 to find out where order was to be told the they try to phone ( but they didn't ) but the guy was outside my door when I open my door no one was there but the food was and it was stone cold informed the lady on the phone and she said sorry and would replace my order .replacement order arrived 15 minutes later but chips were missing the deliver guy said he would sort it but by now it was to late to wait for chips cause the new kebab would be cold so a lge kebab have ended up cost me £ 18.00 NEVER AGAIN

Pretty disappointed with King Kebab this time round. We go there pretty regularly and eat pretty much the same things each time. I was disappointed to see just how much their prices had increased but giving the cost of living crisis, I couldn't blame them. Delivery was meant to be 18:20-18:40 it arrived at 7pm. We had a portion of chips missing. When I called, noone answered. I rang 5 times in total. I finally got through to someone who clearly wanted me off the phone He rushed through everything and started saying bye before I had a chance to tell him why I was calling. I told them my address to which they said they'd delivered it. I explained they'd missed a portion of chips and he said he'd get them sent out. It's now 20:10 and we are still waiting. My original kebab is stone cold and ruined. Abit disappointed considering the whole order cost nearly £30.

My first Just eat order! Food was delivered 1.5hrs early at first, but when it was time for delivery that i wanted it for, it arrived 30mins late. Delivery man was apologetic though. Tried to ring them several times but no answer. Just eat app does not give status of order or location of driver. Other than that the food was delicious!

Ordered a ham and cheese omelette, but the cheese was missing and omelette was really overcooked and tasteless. The order took an hour and a half to arrive. I wish I'd just cooked my own. Chicken kebab was excellent though.

Food arrived 45 mins early with no notice to even say it was on its way which was fine but I’m only 5 minutes away and the food arrived cold ☹️

This took over 2 hours to deliver and I live 10 minutes away, ordered at 6.20 so not late! Tried to ring the shop numerous times, which the app tells you too if you have an issue! No one answers! Quite cold on arrival, most of it thrown in the bin! Ruined birthday treat for the grandchild!

First time ordering from here , power cut at home. Food came as advertised and hot , food tasty , tandoori chicken pizza deffo recommended , great end to a rubbish day thank you .

Excellent all round (as usual), apart from a bit of attitude on delivery: Delivery was 30 minutes early (great) but I was upstairs bathing my children. Delivery guy seemingly stood outside the house (in the dark) getting frustrating I wasn't there waiting for him. Didn't open porch door to ring doorbell. Wife notices someone outside, opens door, guy only wanted to speak to me and was rude to my wife by throwing her the pizzas into her hands and huffing off. Perhaps a bad day for him, but still.

Beautiful and tasty. First time some of my visitors trying king kebab all happy more than happy to have again.

What a delight King Kebab back delivering again. It has been so missed as I still have not found a better kebab House.

The recent Sep 2022 price rises are just ridiculous, a 1/2 lb Cheeseburger has gone from £3.90 - £6.90 in 6 months, I can buy 8 x 1/4lb burgers from Sainsburys for £6.50, I'm not sure how some of these takeaways are doing their pricing lately, but they've priced themselves out the market completely. For example, a 3 skewer of chicken breast, XL Chicken Shish Kebab is £13.50, I mean seriously?! Also, large fries are now £4.50! These are eat in prices and pure madness, that's the end of my frequenting King Kebab, which is a real shame, its such tasty food served here, but now they have priced themselves out the market, ridiculously so.

Good food but next time send out a driver who isn't smashing the doorbell obnoxiously. Never happened to me ever before until now.

We decided to try king kebab again as its our local kebab takeaway. Their food is awesome however their delivery time is awful. If they could improve ordering to delivery time we would use them all of the time.

We really enjoyed the food and there is enough for leftovers tomorrow. I guess they got busy when we ordered because they immediately changed to the delivery time to ½hr later, which isn't really their fault and they notified me via the app straight away.
