Consistently really high-quality food. Eaten here at least 4 times for a variety of occasions and I've never been disappointed. Very fair price for the level of quality and service. Great veggie options too.

Quite disappointing. We got the table for 90 minutes and they made sure we wouldn't stay a minute longer. The food is about ok. The service is poor. I'm not planning to go back.

I booked a table when I arrived there I was given a small table at the entrance bumping constantly into bags of delivery drivers. The staff was very unaccommodating so I had to leave. They clearly want to maximise their revenue so many food delivery is better than the in-restaurant experience

We entered early evening and we were one of the first tables to be seated. There were lots of people being declined a reservation due to be fully booked and throughout our visit. So a popular venue. The service was a bit lackadaisical. It’s felt like they weren’t really bothered about our table. This was all except our last server who was fantastic. The starters were delicious. Our favourite was the chilli oil chicken dumplings, the salt and pepper calamari and the crispy chicken wings. The papaya salad was ok, but I think the marinade needs to soak in more before serving. Unfortunately the belly pork rice was a let down, the rice was dry and felt like it was reheated in the microwave. The pork dish itself lacked flavour. The restaurant has a good vibe and is a good setting for the style of food on the menu.

Delicious dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The food arrived quickly (arguably too quickly as our starters & mains arrived together, and our pre-dinner drinks hadn’t come at that point), but was delicious and really good. The salt & pepper squid is stupidly tasty - very v v recommended!! This is the second time I’ve been there and I’ll definitely be back again.

The food wasn't delivered! I even rang the restaurant and they said a driver wasn't ever assigned so can the food be delivered?

This is my boyfriend’s favourite restaurant and I loved it as well! I later brought my family here when they came to visit me from Norway and they complained that they were served “too much” food. Take that as you will, but I absolutely love coming here to eat!

Lovely Pad Kee Mao (no kidding on the chillis!) and Silver Needle Tea. Had the Tofu, Smacked Cucumber & Radish Salad in the summer, loved that, too.

This is a great place, delicious food, served in a nice café style environment . Lovely staff, and efficient service, KIN has a bustling trade and booking seems to be preferable as gets busy. The Thai (Asian) inspired street food is so tasty and fresh, with lots to choose from and variations of lots of dishes. Good selection of local beers too. Prices are very fair with decent portion sizes. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

The place is a good option if you work nearby and want to have a quick group lunch. There is good option for those who enjoy Thai food. Now if you come here expecting the best Thai cuisine then you could be underwhelmed. I had the fried chicken with rice and it was fine. The chicken felt a bit greasy and can't be enjoyed on its own. It had to be paired with the rice and the accompanying clear soup to cut the greasiness. Also I had the spring rolls and wings too and they were nice but nothing mind-blowing. Like I said so go here for a quick informal lunch and make sure to book ahead as it can get crowded during the lunch rush.

Really good food delivered on time and hot! Unusual for food delivery in London. Keep it up Kin you are exceptional. I'll be visiting the restaurant again soon I hope.

This is a takeaway review of Kin delivered via Just Eat. I've pretty much given in with takeaway / delivery in London now. Everytime I order there is a delay, rubbish food or something else wrong. Kin is the exception. The food is always great, usually arrives hot and on time. Please don't change anything!

It's probably a 3.5.. Large generous portions...however, I'd rather eat more Thai style smaller portions/plates and less expensive so one can order more dishes. As we did not get to try all the menu my comments are only on the food we tried and I wish we had ordered more spicy dishes - as there was no way enough spice! Salt & pepper squid and chicken wontons were really tasty. The Som Tam was weak and not very Som Tam at all in either spice or the balance of the dressing. So if you order it request it to be made "Thai Style". The pad Thai was tasty but this is not a spicy dish anyway. Nasi Gorang .. again isn't really a spicy dish in Indonesia, however, described as one and it wasn't and a bit dry. Then finally the spicy vegan red curry (it says there is a milder option avail) was again lacking in spice. Overall tasty, warming, cosy food, but not very authentic Thai. I will go back again and try the Pad Krapao as that is usually a good benchmark. Really nice wine and service. Table pretty small and overall really loud so difficult to chat. Also, really annoying no menu printed or on a board. I find menus on phones so "covid years" and quite annoying. The last thing people want is to be looking at their phone when out to dinner, it's so unsociable. And it's difficult to choose, scrolling etc. If you are using the green excuse for not printing, then write things up on a board! We would have ordered more food and spent more money had we all been able to look at the menu!

We went on a Friday night, the place was buzzy but the service was impeccable. We ordered the special and the Katsu curry. The Katsu was honestly the best I’ve ever had. If they bottled the sauce I would buy it! The special was huge and looked great but, although they did say the sauce was hot on the menu, my partner found it so hot it was inedible for him. Overall the experience was excellent, quick, well priced and enjoyable.

Wed night, 7pm: first time I've seen KIN rammed (maybe mid-week hybrid workers). Service from statuesque lady: impeccable. Food: good as always. Experience: great as ever. Overall: Still the coolest joint in town.

Timing was so fast it made me already question the quality of the food and i was right to. Absolutely no flavour. The rice was hard and stuck together in clumps. Clearly this had just veen reheated in a microwave and then sent out to me. Defo wont be ordering again. Defo not authentic nasi goreng!.

Fresh, open air restaurant on Leather Lane. Great for colleagues to meet at lunch time especially. Khao soi was sensational, and I was able to modify based on dietary preferences. Very attentive service, and food came out quickly. This place is always busy, and for good reason.

We ordered the spring rolls, rice noodles, chicken wings and red curry. Dishes are tasty, well priced and serving sizes are generous. The service is really efficient and effective - just didn’t enjoy feeling as though the timer started as soon as I walked in and had to get kicked out as soon as I took my last mouthful.

Came for the khao soi, left with happy smiles. Khao soi tasted more like Malaysian laksa but it's good enough to satisfy my craving for my all time fav from north of Thailand.

Amazing service. We were ridiculously late due to trains, but they were so hospitable, didn't rush us, really accommodating. We really appreciate it (and we hate being late!). Food was superb, service was fab. Thanks for having us.

Kin is one of my favourite early evening dinner spots when I’m in Farringdon. Very good Thai food served with a smile.

Lovely food. We had a window seat which was nice, the only thing that was annoying were the street cleaners that passed twice whilst we were eating, causing noise, dust and dirt!

I use to work here and absolutely loved my time here, the food is like no other Thai place I’ve tried, it is the best Thai restaurant in London by far. I still think about the meals I use to eat here and have been meaning to come back for some time now, just been busy working but I will be visiting soon and super excited to dine here again! Wonderful staff here, and cocktails are delicious! Can’t wait to visit again, highly recommend everyone to eat here, you will not be disappointed!

I've only had lunch here but it's become a regular haunt for team meetings now. And I've got a pretty eclectic team with some exotic food tastes. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

The food is great, and they have a good choice on the menu. Portion sizes are very generous too. However, I will probably not be coming here again because the level of service was very poor and rude. Arrived ~12mins later than booked time only to be told the table is gone. Was given another table as a walk in and told to vacate in an hour. The waitress then stood next to table waiting for us to vacate which was a bit rude. What I don't get is that the original booking would still have been there and there were other free tables so this was pretty ridiculous.

We arrived 15mins early for our table and the staff were happy to seat us early, but mentioned that we only had the table for 90mins. As the restaurant wasn't too busy for a Friday evening we ended up dining for longer. Food came extremely quick and everything came at once, but we wasn't bothered by that. Food was nice, not the best Thai food I've ever had and a little on the pricier side, but we enjoyed our meal. Staff were friendly and there was a pleasant ambiance.

The food was amazing as always, but we felt very hassled by the service and constant reminders of how much time we had left before the end of the booking. We were also hassled into placing our order very quickly. This sadly overshadowed the quality of the food and left us feeling stressed.

im a regular customer here (usually for takeaways) food is great! i’d made a reservation and dined in early on a friday evening for a change, and the only complaint i had was that we felt like we were being rushed to order our mains. of course i appreciate it was a friday evening and im aware of how busy the restaurant can get but i still felt like we was being rushed far too soon and that made us a tad bit uncomfortable at this instance. especially considering we had a booking. we eventually ended up asking for take away boxes for the mains — but other than that, good vibes.

Damn good Thai! And at a great price. The red curry w/ tofu was scrumptious (tofu fried to perfection). Green curry w/ chicken did not disappoint either. Good portion sizes as well.

I am really sad that I have to write a negative review; it wasn't all bad but could have so much better. I found the restaurant through the app and booked based on the reviews and proximity to the hotel. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated quickly. The food came fast (as explained it might) and it was OK (not bad but not as good as I had hoped). The service was the main issue, we would have liked some more drinks but were never asked or able to attract the attention of a staff member. When we asked for the desert menu, we were told, "I will have to check if you have time for that". I understood the table time limit of 75 minute (this was explained in advance and on arrival) but we did have 30 minutes left! Also disappointing, was that my colleague had been unable to finish most of her meal (just no taste and not good quality in her vegan opinion). It wasn't even mentioned by the staff who cleared the plates, even though it was obvious that the food had hardly been touched. Overall, the food was OK, the venue was nice, the service was poor, the value was OK. I won't return and I can't recommend KIN when there are so many other restaurants nearby.
