Absolutely Devine! I always feel so disappointed when buying take-out in the UK. But this was tasty and very large portions. Large is definitely large. Fish isn't oily, and there is more fish than batter thankfully. chips are yummy as well as the prawns. Hope they can add Halloumi fingers to the menu. So much better than other fish and chips shops I tried. At other shops they charge me for sweet chilli sauce, and large is more like medium. Definitely going here again.

My daughter was over from the USA and of course needed a fix of fish and chips. Perfect as ever, and very generous chip portions!

I have been a customer for many year, so i was very disappointed today. i waited 40 minutes, then 5 mins to home. opened the paper and the fish was cold, so it must been cooked and left out of the heat cabinet. So will give it a miss and go elsewhere. I dont mind the wait, but cold food. There are food hygiene rules on food temperature that is not being followed. What i shame

Used to be the best fish and chips around but the past few times we have been it's been awful with the food on the last visit inedible. Never again!

I’ve tried a few local fish & chip shops & I have to say that this place takes a lot of beating. Always fresh & tasty, crispy batter on the fish & nice chips. I come here weekly now & have never had any complaints. Won’t go anywhere else now..

Kim’s Plaice is located centrally along Frimley High St with plenty of on street parking close by. Was going to ring in our order but instead decided to get there soon after evening mid week opening and it was already busy. However, the cheerful lady serving was working at a demonic pace and I didn’t have to wait long (even in these Covid times!) - not that I mind waiting for freshly fried fish n chips! Ordered small Cod and Haddock plus a portion of small chips and this was sufficient for the two of us. Really happy with both quality and taste so this will be our “go to” chippy in the area from now on! There is a sit down section to rear of shop but not sure if it’s currently open for eat in.

As moved into the local area, we wanted some fish and chips, heard good reviews of this shop. Lovely food and good prices. Small chips were like large you get alot for what you pay for.

I've been coming here for a while now and I think it's the best fish and chip shop around. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best! Freshly cooked, lovely crispy batter and big portions. I won't go anywhere else.

The best Fish and Chip Shop I've found for a long time Very handy it's on my way home from work on Red Road to Blackwater .Freshly cooked, always tastes great, not greasy, and nice Crispy Batter....... only Chippy we use now as the Missus and son loved it too !

Disappointingly my haddock was not descaled! Not fun getting a mouthful of scales a couple of bites in and then having to expertly ensure no skin was present for future mouthfuls! Is this normal or was my meal an exception?

My inlaws come from London just to have their fish and chips from Kim's Plaice. Best ever, friendly service, portions are very generous. Can only recommend

Usually Fish n Chips was just a Friday night take away tradition. This place however took me by complete surprise. Sitting in and having fresh fish and chips is a game changer. Despite being family run and a small business. This place offers very high quality and levels of service and excellent/perfect food here. Easily one of the best chippies in the UK!

Had been looking forward to a portion of chips - not done 'just chips' for a very long time.Well it was well worth it. Absolulely just what the Dr would have ordered after a bit of a workout. Well, maybe not the Dr.Kim's Place never fails to deliver good quality Fish and Chips, or in this case, just chips.

My daughter lives in Frimley and recommended this place. My wife and I have been going here for the past six months and I have to say that it’s probably one of the best chip shops in the area - enormous portions and consistently good. Thoroughly recommended!

This venue must be one of the best chippys around the soueast the large cod I ordered was enormous and chips also large. Don’t go unless your hungry!

We were served by Trinity tonight, the most attentive and thorough waitress we've ever been served by. She was serving the whole restaurant area completely single handedly even though the take away wasn't particularly busy and staffed by 2!So if you are looking for a cheaper option for eating out but service that you'd expect in a higher end restaurant, then Kim's Plaice is your place, as long as the young Trinity is working. Well done Trinity, you'll go far in life with you polite and professional manner.

A delightful fish and chip shop with a small dining room. The food was freshly cooked to order, it was plentiful and tasty.

Have been going to Kim's for a very long time, (Travel 4 mile round trip past two other Fish and Chip shops).Nearly always havew to que outside shop its that popular.Only fish and chip shop in the area that alway has very good skate.Also has an excellent restaurant part at the back of the shop

I have never had better chips than from this chippy. Prices are very good and they have a huge variety of products. There is a restaurant area if you want to have a sit down lunch/dinner. Always busy but only because all of frimley know how good this chippy is!!

Decided to have fish and chips as our Valentine's day meal as I'm a cheap date lol not long moved to this are so not tried this one before but there was no wait. Staff very friendly and chatty, portion sizes good and tasted lovely. Will definitely get our fish and chips from there again

Our friends had just moved to Camberley and only got the keys to their house that day and the furniture etc was coming the next day so we went to Kims to eat. We researched it on the web and certainly were not disappointed. We all had a large haddock and chips. The portions were big the fish and chips cooked to perfection. Not expensive. We knew we were on to a winner as the takeaway area was busy.

I went on my own and ate cod and chips. The food was excellent and the service very friendly. It was good to see all of the food being prepared and cooked on the premises.

went to kims place last night 15th sept 2018.food is great but had to mention the guy who was cooking last night.it was very busy and this guy was a machine doing everything on his own from mixing the batter to dishing up food on plates at dealing with orders never seen a guy work like this he was a machine.i hope there paying this guy a fortune hes worth it believe me.my only down side is I sometimes feel like if you only go in for a portion of chips the main 2 servers which I think own the shop seem to get the hump I have noticed this a few times.but I do recommend this place for the food.

Ate here with my girlfriend, and with the two of us having eaten at fish and chip restaurants in Grimsby a few times, I feel like we have high standards. I had a battered sausage which was as good as any I've had, and my partner had the haddock which she said was very large and very tasty. The chips were brilliant and the portion sizes are very generous. Finally the service was fantastic and we will definitely visit again when we're in the area!

The first time I tried this place was about a month ago. I didn't have enough cash on me so wanted to pay by card - the lady said there's a charge for using the card... even though this is against trading regulations now! Noticed this lady hardly puts any salt and vinegar and just in the middle. The chips were nice.

We visit Kim's fairly frequently and have never had a bad experience. All of the food is great and their potion sizes are generous!

Popped here after visiting family. There was no queue and the food was lovely and hot (still a fab temperature when we got it to the hotel 10mins later).

My hubby, my two teenage sons and I had a terrific meal here. My lads have good appetites and even they came away full ☺ Beautifully cooked food all around and great service. Well done, Kim!

This is easily the best chip shop in the area they do a great job no matter what you decide to get, they also offer eat in table service if you prefer this, and from being in there it always looks good with friendly service.

Got home earlier to find my chips missing, rang and told the guy(whom I think is the owner), full apology, quickly nipped back for my chips, not only did I get a huge portion, also received a voucher. Not often that happens. So absolutely thrilled as the food, I love there fish & chips the best I have ever had round this way. Always cooked fresh and service is always friendly. Highly recommend, just wish they did deliveries

Does what it says on the tin. Fish is freshly cooked to order for me normally and chips are just out of the fryer. Very pleasant service and reasonable prices

I enjoy a good fish and chips, great curry sauce, excellent service and gluten free Wednesday to Saturday I think. People may say they've had better, but that won't be often. Give the guys a chance ad try it, maybe tell them your there because of reviews on here and your going to write one too. ( nothing like a bit of pressure) . Al I'll say is don't have chicken, it's a bit dry, but I'll like to think if you wanted chicken you wouldn't go t a fish and chip shop '!

Kim's place is excellent from the old school bread n butter. Nicely fried fish. Excellent chips. Mushy peas. All in absolutely excellent.

This is a busy chippy, but worth the wait. The food is excellent and chips are some of the best you'll find. Not too fatty, and everything is freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only criticism can be the wait times sometimes but quality takes time and you can't blame them for the place being popular!

You won't find a better fish and chip shop locally than this one. Excellent quality fish and great value for money.

Compares very favourably with other restaurants nearby but is considerably cheaper, portions are larger, the sit down food comes with salad and all in all the overall experience is far better.

I contacted Kim to find out if he would be able to provide a large order (60) for a charity event we were organising in Frimley. We were in contact before hand to confirm numbers (which had also increased). I expected to have to collect, however Kim told me he would deliver despite it being a Saturday night! The food arrived on time, all in individual food boxes, complete with cutlery, sauces and salt & vinegar. The food was piping hot, freshly cooked and NOT greasy. Kim also supplied a small number of gluten free orders. All the diners commented on the quality! Not only all the above Kim also provided us with a special price and donated a raffle prize. I know why this is my ‘Go-To’ chippy. Thank you Kim and your staff for giving 100%.

This is a gem of a fish and chip shop! We have been visiting this fish and chip shop for several years - both for a take away and to eat at their restaurant. I can honestly say that we have never have a "duff" meal here.

We've been using this chippie for a few years now and its never failed to perform - great food and excellent service - only trouble is that it is very popular so often there a long queue - but well worth the wait

Execllent fish and chips. Very popular. They need a queuing system for peak times. Large fish portions really are large. You can park briefly on the high street or on the free council car park near to the shop.

My son and I decided to eat in here. The fish and chips are always excellent and I love the fact you get free bread and butter with your meal. Always clean and nice eating area. Highly recommended.

I asked if chips were gluten free and if they did microwave fish and they offered me battered fish also gluten free. It was fab! Really surprised to be able to get GF fish and chips offered. Can't wait to go again

This has to be one of the best, use this place regularly ( I know i shouldn't) but the thing is its so good, wife being gluten free he caters for her, leaving one fryer batter free. Have to wait for chips to be cooked, but the wife's happy and so am I. I'm sure if your local then you'll know already how good it is, but if your not then don't take my word for it.

Went here as have seen it with queens out of the door and I must say the wait was worth it the fish and chips were excellent and well priced as well friendly service as well next time I might eat in as they have a sit down area

Decided to try Kim's after a recommendation - was not disappointed! The skate I had was excellent, and my wife's haddock was also very tasty. Best fish and chips we've had in a long time. The owner and staff were all very chatty, friendly and knowledgable. Will be getting take away from there again..!!

Right on the Frimley high street this fish & chips shop serves excellent quality fish that is always hot & fresh. I usually have one large cod & large chips & that is plenty to serve two. Mmmmm. Delicious.

We use Kim's Plaice when the mood takes us and there really is not one to match it in the area, food is cooked to order with generous portions. Excellent service with friendly staff.

The best fish and chips for miles. It's fantastic. We've moved and it's no longer our local but if we want fish and chips, we drive to Kim's. The food is cooked fresh and is crisp,tasty and not over greasy.

Absolutely banging place best fish and chips u can get in surrey , if your thinking of going to jacks in Bagshot do the nearest u-turn and head to Frimley. Very nice little restaurant and the gravy sauce is amazing !!!! Would highly recommend

Probably one of the best fish & chip shops in the area, The Seating area to the rear is typical café but the food is what you would hope for and plenty of it! Friendly too
