Said my order 4 times and still got it wrong.

Poor service, wrong order given, was given zinger meal I'm allergic to it.luckily I sniffed it first as it looked different, I asked twice for plain normal no cheese no nothing extra. I tried to phone them no answer after 20 mins, phoned head office sorry no one here. Omg

Kept my 3p change without doing ‘the dance’.

A KFC like any other. The service was very good and it was convenient.

Drive through could be quicker. Needs an upgrade so as to run more smoother. Other than that it's a good wee place. If you like all things chicken your set. Still a really slow drive through between the ordering pillar and the pay and collect window it's slow

Honestly hope this messes up your GXI if this store tracks that. You're delivery service is a joke where your food is always cold and you never read any requests in the note attached even when it's copy and pasted multiple times and takes up a large portion of your receipt. Not even the first or second time. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but jeez. I love a KFC but this particular store is so incompetent at delivery I won't be using it again. Literally only leaving this review in hopes you track them and your ROM or something can give you a kick in the genitalia and maybe get other people's orders right in the future.

Items missing but was offered extra pieces on our next order. I hope they don't mess this one! Please guys pay attention

The chicken at KFC hit the spot, crispy and flavorful as always. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't quite up to par. Dirty tables and bathrooms, along with an inattentive staff behind the counter, dampened the dining experience. Hopefully, it's just a temporary blip, as KFC usually nails both food and atmosphere. 3 stars for the food, minus a star for the environment and service.

Love KFC would have chicken burgers with popcorn chicken 💜

Rude manager. Slow service. Items missing. 30 mins waiting for an order that they took payment for but never made. Refund and not returning.

Food wasn't very warm. The bun could have been used to break windows it was so hard. The cheese wasn't melted and the chicken was a bit overcooked but the hash brown was tasty .

Chicken rubbery…a very very small portion of chips….expensive…very poor value for money…as usual restaurant nearly empty …

Yummy original chicken! Wanted 2 legs and 2 thighs. Requested at the counter but was not warm with his response. The wings were really cold! Not eatable. But with the response received previously din want to ask them at the counter again. Overall good!

I love this place, Ayr is one of the best KFCs due to the friendliness of the staff, always smiling, they even smile and wave to my granddaughter,

Food portions have got smaller since I was last there, which was a few months ago but overall service was good and so was the food 🙂

Went on Sunday evening, we had not been for a few years, very pleasantly surprised food was hot fresh and tasty, place was clean and staff very nice, will be back

This is more about the quality of the chicken in the buckets than anything else. You used to get juicy leg n thigh pieces...now it's so poor...all the time now it's really boney pieces large wings n very dry pieces of chicken.. No longer a take away destination.. you'll be lucky if you get 1 drumstick The team are hardworking and very polite at Ayr....

Picked a late night snack from your Ayr Heatfield retail park store. After taking the food out of the bag we realised it was cold, no major complaint as we knew the store was shutting soon. Started eating into my mini fillet burger, to realise that there was something like a hair, a long and thick hair, in the middle of my food. When i pulled it out the hair like thing was embedded into the burger. All i wanted after this experience was a refund for the £1.99 mini fillet burger, however when i went into the shop this was far from what i received. The server at the till not at fault here, she took my burger and showed the manager. After a minute or so, the manager comes over and basically calls me a liar, told me it couldn’t be any of his staffs hair THEN says maybe it is a THREAD! He tells me i’m not getting a refund but i can get a replacement burger. Asked him if he’s joking, said he’s not. Told him to keep the £2, but i won’t be back. The manager knew he was in the wrong because he didnt even have a reply. Even if it was a thread and not a hair does that really matter ? Don’t call your customers liars KFC, really not a good look.

This is the best KFC that i’ve ever been to! The food was HOT in temperature which is a rarity for fast food joints. The staff were super friendly and the food came so quick. Thank you so much to Zain and Aaron for their amazing service.

Unfortunately for the first time ever the popcorn chicken was so dried out it wasn’t even edible never had this problem at any other kfc so was disappointed today

Cold chips, soggy tasteless chicken, watery gravy, stale corn on the cob. Very poor show KFC

I used the drive-thru. I was served quickly by a friendly member of staff. Food was cooked perfectly and was hot. The only negative was value for money. The price of some of the meals has almost doubled in the past few years. It cost £11 for a meal for one person.

Amazingly enthusiastic service from a young brunette on the drive thru on the 16th September 2023 at 6:20pm! So friendly and bubbly and would love for her to be praised for going above and beyond!

Drive through last night, we requested coleslaw and beans as extra sides, however they never gave us forks or spoons to eat them with nor did they give us napkins. Sick of KFC drive throughs not giving whats required. Its simply not good enough! How hard is it for employees in fast food joints when your purchasing food at a drive through to ensure you have cutlery and napkins!!!

After a bad experience in an Edinburgh KFC, I wanted to give the business another chance. Unfortunately, my review mirrors previous comments made by other reviewers. I thought the staff were friendly and polite - no issues with them at all. The issues actually lie with the price and quality of the meal. The prices in KFC at the moment are sheer madness - the Mighty Bucket For One cost has gone up at least 30-40%! To add insult to this, I was given two Drumsticks (with minimal meat) as my two ‘pieces’. As for a large Chips - not having it that my portion quantified that description. I ordered a Zinger Burger on the side and it was bland. To be honest, it wasn’t even zingy - the only winner on the day was the Pepsi unfortunately. Based on my last two experiences at two different franchises, I’ll be giving KFC a miss for the foreseeable - increased prices, poorer quality and smaller portions. Not a way to keep loyal customers!

Absolutely shocking for what you pay. 6 chips in my pack 2 pieces of chicken that were shockingly disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Staff need to know how smile at customers.

Very clean place, food was served quick, staff very friendly making me feel welcomed. Tables wiped and clean, something that I don't usualy see in KFC restaurants. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I found the assistant manger very rude and abrasive. She has zero personal skills.

Terrible service, ordered a rice box, should come with a dressing for salad, never got it so left with dry salad bear in mind this is £5.99 so I’ve paid for dry salad and a pinch of rice, ruined the meal altogether, chips were cold aswell!

Absolutely disgusting “restaurant”. Greasy chicken, cold chips, all 7 of them! Place was filthy with tables which had obviously not been cleaned for hours, even though it was not that busy when we were there. Spillage on floor which was not cleaned in the half hour that we were there. Bins outside spilling over and seagulls everywhere. Toilet was filthy…don’t they have cleaners?..obviously not. Avoid avoid avoid!

Worst KFC on planet its as if nobody cares and food is poor

I always find it tricky to get promotional deals in KFC but everything went smooth here. I manage to get a bucket of chicken wings for £6 (promotion) + other member's rewards. The restaurant is clean (for my expectation for fast food restaurant), food is good - crunchy wings, and free charging points on site.

Always a great place for a quick snack or to sit in and have a laugh, great on just eat as well, they've never forgot any items or had to replace them, and even if they do they phone to let us know

Use your app for points and add your blue light card if you have one.

I feel now you don't get much for your money ...lucky if you get 10 chips

Worst KFC Iv ever been to Cold chicken and a handful of chips Must have been 8 chips Wasn’t offered sauces salt napkin And there was none in bag To top it off there was a rat outside Disgusting did say to the server who didn’t seem interested

This is the Best KFC I have ever visited , The food was piping hot, had a Mighty Bucket for one . The Chicken was superb just tender with the outer coating amazing , the chips were also well enjoyable Staff were friendly and very helpful . Well done guys to me your the Best KFC in the UK without any doubt, when I’m in the area I will definitely be back with no hesitation.

Was told it would be 10mins wait for chicken when ordering at the drive through 20mins later I was still waiting when I went in to ask where it was it was sitting on the counter staff very rude and gave attitude and to top it off when I got home the chicken was raw second bad experience at that outlet won't be back !

Food was fresh and warm at lunch. No waiting time at drive thru and friendly staff.

Service was very slow when I was there but can't fault the food and did get a free cappuccino as a sorry for my food being so slow to come out.

The food was disappointing 😞 years since I had been to KFC but I will not be returning im veggie did find a veg burger unable to have the chips as they fry the chicken in the same fryer. In 2023 really KFC. I didnt ask how the veg option was cooked as I was actually hungry.. also left hungry ... Will never visit again.. no great loss perhaps but surely they could make a little effort so us veggies can come in with meat eaters and enjoy.

Store advertises it's open at 10:30. Several times I've been at 11 and they're still not open. No sign on the door. When I phoned they said they'd open at 11:30. They have advertisements in the window to use the app for great deals but when you try to use the app it says this location doesn't use the app. Why put pictures in your window of "deals" that you refuse to honour? Food is tasty but the customer service is lousy. Definitely needs new management.

Went in due to advertised offer. Was told "it's not on". Mentioned the add and reply was "that's only for delivery or if you are using the app" explained I had the app "no sorry" was the response. Clearly no intention of honouring advertised deals.

Sit in experience was dreadful. Missing items in order, front door wouldn't close so freezing cold, tables and floor dirty, bins overflowing. Clearly short-staffed and overworked youngsters - complained at counter but in 25mins-30mins sat in, no-one came out to clean in any way. Be warned

Fancied a KFC for a change and decided to sit in. Floors were filthy, with rubbish strewn about. Tables were uncleared. That did not make agood impression and we walked out without ordering

Just stopped for an original two piece meal with pepsi . Couldn't understand why the Plooky halfwit had given me as many serviettes then when I lifted a piece of chicken I realised IT WAS TO MOP UP THE GREASE DRIPPING FROM IT ....🤢.... So i thought right i will just eat the chips NOPE the last time they saw a fryer was about 1pm this afternoon FREEZING ....needless to say it all went in the bin . Pepsi was nice

Ordered delivery and more than half of it was missing. Got Deliveroo credit and reordered the missing items…half missing again. Embarrassing operation.

Shocking, the chicken was mush,and cold,and did not look cooked properly,we did speak to the girl, but you know what...LIFE IS CHEAP..they dont care,so we will be writting to KFC head office,TOTALLY SHOCKING. We spoke to a family who had the same issues, so why are KFC,going so wrong. £30 was not worth it.and no sweetcorn. The staff are all over the place..the problem is .walk in and drive thru mean nothing. More is put into the delivery side of things. We will not be back.there should be a minus star. Because thats what we would give this place.

On the drive through I ordered boneless banquet from here on Friday lunch time and returned to work with my take away. The Chicken strips were lovely however I went large and received small fries, had a side of beans but no fork/ spoon, ordered a tomato sauce dip but never received any, asked for salt never received any and no napkin. In summary great food let down by poor service.

As usual we bought a Family Feast sharing bucket from the drive through window. We had our meals within 6 mins,lively freshly cooked chicken and chips and corn on the cob,with a big bottle of juice,perfect.

I always go in for a zinger tower meal ..went in a few days ago Quality very poor was quite disappointed the chips were cold and the burger was missing hash brown and cheese ..I was told the recipe had changed ..dont think KFC will c us all again and it normally comes in a box..not this time it was wrapped in paper..k f c get ur act together

Helpful staff, usual grub. Clean and served fast. Down graded from 4 to 2 star Disappointed on return visit. Walked in just before 10pm to be told cash only as the card service was down, proceeded to then to watch lots of cars use drive through with card payment. Got the impression they wanted an easy shift . No apology given. Different staff to the person previously.

Nice place to dine in or take away. KFC does delivery.

Waited almost 30 mins in the drive thru and had no option to wait as cars behind me or we would have drove off, spoke to the employee at the window and he seemed to be the only person doing work whilst their were staff just messing around inside .

Visited the drive through (most likely for the last time) at 4.12pm today. Probably the worst Zinger box meal I've ever eaten..and I've eaten a fair few! No napkins, straws, salt, spoon/fork....chips were lukewarm and chewy as if they'd lain for ages....the sandwich was the same...had obviously been kept warm, bread was brick hard, chicken was chewy and the lettuce resembled overboiled cabbage. Not one single element of it was fresh. I appreciate that things are hard at the minute with reduced staffing etc....but come on guys...almost £14....for something that was practically inedible? If I could give 0 stars I would. Disappointed is an understatement.

Typical KFC drive through, car park full of rubbish from KFC, not sure if birds had been at bins and pulled rubbish out of them. Probably happens all the time or patrons just dump rubbish in car park
