KFC in Isle of Anglesey

Shocking. Decided to give KFC Holyhead a try one lunchtime during the week. Terrible service, that made me feel extremely uncomfortable via a young girl with 'dirty blonde' ish hair which i'm pretty sure her name tag said lucie. Not a friendly smile in sight. Me my husband and daughter was not very pleased as my husband got up to recieve the tray of food at the counter and she more or less pushed it agressively towards him. Asked for ketchup and she huffed and grabbed from behind her. Food was average, missing gravy and sweetcorn but soon enough got it sorted.

Went to KFC Holyhead tonight. After about 7 minutes eventually got served. Then 2 or 3 people who came afterme got served 1st. After asking what was happening to my order, they finally got it sorted around 25 minutes later. The chicken in the 2 piece variety meals was very small. The staff had no organisation. Instead of assigning someone on the till full time to clear the backlog, the guy was also trying to get the order ready which created a big queue, whist some in the back was standing in the back doing nothing. Could have done with a team leader who could look after the staff.

This Drive Thru is horrendous. Had a really bad experience before- had over 1/2hr wait, order was completely wrong and forgot my drink. Submitted a complaint via email to KFC headquarters and got no reply. Went into the restaurant with another family and had a lovely meal, so gave the Drive Thru another chance…… Bad mistake, once again order wrong, and I know we ordered Mini Fillets but MINI was the operative word, most were very thin. Definitely not using the Drive Thru again. 1/10 for speed,

Great food, Cooked to perfection but the 1 star is for the EXTREMELY rude staff member “Mike” He was very disrespectful when i spilt my drink by accident, I tried cleaning it up for him and then he proceeded to say “that’s not helping me at all” and started sighing and saying things under his breath. He also closed the toilets at 9pm when the restaurant states it closes at 10pm. Other than the fact that Mike was extremely rude to my family and I, We did have a lovely conversation with another staff member named “Cian” he was polite and apologised about Mike being rude us, We will be returning as the food was delicious and by then hopefully something will have been sorted about Mike’s attitude. Thank you for the great food.

Staff horrible they had no interest in working or my order Slammed the window once food passed out these staff should not be allowed work

Staff were ridiculous had to ask for absolutely everything did they expect me to eat off the floor like a dog? I got plates thrown at me the staff was immature and manager had no authority over the staff

We wanted a bucket, but they only had drumsticks but could have waited 20 mins if we really wanted to. We all had a wraps and were taistless and dry. The free wireless wasn't working (probably so you couldn't leave bad reviews), so I couldn't get on my app. Very disappointed. I won't be bothering again.

Food served was poor , chicken dry and chips were soggy felt that reheated food was being served , staff not interested andike stale robots , no dips offered , told had to pay extra. Won't rush here again , expensive , poor quality and staff need a reshuffle.

We decided to grab some food from this KFC and everything was as expected, so it worked out well as a no frills pit stop.

Visited KFC Holyhead today and left with brown, foul smelling “hot wing” waited around 10 minuets for our food, a couple of items were missing which took another ten minutes to arrive.

Very friendly staff and very down to earth unlike the robots in McDonald’s, grubs always been spot on I’ve got no complaints at all.

After a 6 hour journey with my husband and 3 children, we were really hungry and decided to grab a kfc as it closed at 10pm. We got there at 9 and there was barely any food, we were told we couldn’t sit inside as they had already cleared away all the chairs resulting in us all sitting in the car with food we didn’t particularly want. Very disappointing

Awful, no hot drinks, no Crushems (again). Ordered sweetcorn, got gravy 🤷🏼‍♂️. Burger was cold, chicken was cold. Lad taking the orders was disinterested at best. The girl who serves the food was the only bright spot in a very bleak experience, she was at least friendly and helpful. This is the worst KFC I have ever been too

asked for a few sides and didnt even get them ridiculous but was very apologetic after still annoyed

I generally avoid KFC like the plague as there is usually always something wrong (eg the green string which was cooked into the chicken batter in the meal we had in St Helens, England last week.....).... However...... We had two (yes, TWO) party buckets (I'll never quite accept food in a bucket....) for our party of six during our one week holiday to Holyhead and we thoroughly enjoyed both. Highly recommended!

Few weeks back had raw chicken received apology, refund and free meal. Today fatty chicken, burned fries and missing item. I won’t be going back again.

Waiting there to get served 2 staffjust standing there no idea at all no system in place to serve people while waiting for food. Instead just wait for food to be ready before serving other people shocking place.

We really fancied a fresh, hot, finger lickin' good - but we didn't get it. The restaurant was quiet, one other customer & us.We placed our order, confirmed, pointed to what we wanted on the menu board, waited 10 mins & were given the completely wrong items.None of the food was freshly cooked so i don't know why we had to wait so long. The chicken was SO very salty, it really wasn't nice, there must have been a weeks worth of an adults recommended salt intake on that chicken!Fries were horrible and warm not hot. Most sauce holders were empty.The napkin dispenser was empty & i had to ask for napkins 3 times.The tables hadn't been cleared and the floor was littered with food, fruit shoot bottles, napkins, sauce packets, you name it. A girl came out & emptied a few trays of rubbish into the bin, but didn't clean the tables & overlooked the messy floor.This lukewarm, salty experience tasted nothing like the KFC's i have enjoyed in the past. I wouldn't recommend this one - go to MaccyD's or Morrisons Cafè!!

I was feeling hungry after my shopping, so I popped into KFC for a meal. I have always avoided any KFC before as their reputation is not too good. The staff member was very polite as I was uncertain as to what to order. My meal was with me in about four minutes. The only thing I would change is to ask for no mayo on the bun, as I hate the stuff. Apart from that small problem, the meal was delicious.

This store really doesn’t seem to be supported by head office from what I can see. Also the local management don’t seem to be too interested either. On one till the scanner for your kfc loyalty card works and the other it doesn’t. They move the sauces from one place to another. When things are wrong with food no discount is offered at all ever. On my third from last visit part of my order was ready and left on the side to go cold whilst the rest was done. Yes cold chips - yuk! Second from last visit as I was given my chicken filet burger I was told sorry the delivery let us down so there’s no lettuce. No reduction and not told until I got the food, on my very last visit we got locked in because the water was off and they were closing the store. No member of staff stood near the locked door so diners finishing food had to keep gesturing to people at the door to go round the side for an explanation. A sign was put up about twenty minutes later. One slightly older female staff member seemed to do her best to control the matter single handed and the remaining staff were like headless chickens. The manager clearly doesn’t train them for emergencies and goodness knows they seem to have enough of them. The toilets were not in use and no one was offered a discount or voucher to encourage them to come back. I could go on with more issues from more visits but I think I’ve explained enough. The service is never very fast. KFC get a grip for goodness sake and start showing the public you care just a little bit, even if it isn’t very much. Train your staff and give them some backup too. Why do we go back - it’s convenient and we happen to like kfc style food and hope each time it will be a bit better than last time.

It’s incredible this place is still open. I try this place once every 6 months or so just in case it got better but no! Just terrible so so terrible.

Just popped in, only one person in front of me, ordering god knows how many meals off a sheet of paper, no extra staff came to serve on a different till, had to walk out, the couple behind me also walked out ridiculous.

Staff don’t know a damn thing there. Ask them for anything that isn’t basic like large popcorn meal or lunch box and they will be stuck at the till trying to work it out for ages to the point you just buy something else. There is a ginger lady there (who may of left) and a guy called callum and they’re the only 2 who know how to do anything there. There’s new staff there by the week and they can’t be getting much training. Need some serious staff training.

Quick visit here with my mother and im very happy i did!

Please avoid this place at all cost. Place needs a good clean, dirty toilets, broken seats and staff rude, coffe is as weak as cats..... Mcdonalds just around the corner if you need a quick meal.

I can see that this place has been getting a lot of stick....most kfc joints do. But, I would just like to put my view in.

I asked for a wrap with no lettuce after 10 minutes I get my wrap but it had lettuce so I took it back and asked if I could have another wrap but with no lettuce like I first asked the worker looked at me in disgust and said there was no lettuce

i ordered a mega box my hot wings were bright pink I then said excuse me my hot wings were pink and he responded in a rude tone saying its just the sauce mate I said I have had kfcs elsewhere which weren't pink and he responded just shut up you old fart

Avoid at all costs - the staff are very unprofessional, with staff on their days off just walking into the kitchen to help themselves to food. Too much chatter and not enough customer service. Food is mediocre, restaurant itself needs a good clean, and the staff need some serious retraining.

Summed by the Kitchen Manager. My daugther wanted a burger but there were none ready, we were offered mini fillets instead, which is no problem. The lad in charge of the kitchen we need to get shut of this S***.

Went to Kfc Holyhead the other day, ordered a 12 piece boneless bucket through the drive thru, service was quick and food was excellent. Staff were bubbly and order was accurate.

I went too holyhead kfc on sunday night the 3rd with my partner and autistic daughter and we went through the drive through. From the beginning the staff were friendly and we had too park up in disabled bay too wait for food. When the guy brought it out too our car he was friendly and apolagised for the delay. Im local and the staff on this occasion made us feel very welcome and the team that was working around 8 pm on sunday night the 3rd of feb should take credit for the profesionalism they showed.

Terrible, it gets one star because there is no option to give it less. Place empty still waited an age for food. Staff can't be bothered, I nearly apologised fo disterbing their night. AVOID

Went here yesterday got a snack box mini fillet. I was asked if i would like popcorn chicken instead because i had to wait 5 minutes for the fillet but i decided to wait. The fries were disgusting and couldnt eat all of the fillet because it didnt taste nice at all. Since this morning ive had terrible stomach cramps with diaorrhea so i deffinately have had some poisoning. This place needs to shut down with a visit from public health. I will never eat a kfc again in my life. Get your finger out kfc managers you are a dangour to humans. Reading other reviews are shocking .WAKE UP!!

We bought a 14 piece bargain bucket. When we got it home we found it over cooked. Eight of the pieces drumstick, the rest were thighs, not a single breast. This is the third time we have had bad product from them. There won’t be a repeat.

Went here thinking that some KFC would be great but it was absolutely appalling. Firstly the toilets were out of order, the queue was disgustingly long and the floor was sticky! The bins had not been changed in god knows how long and when a customer asked for the disability toilet key, the employee said "they'd lost it" no apology or explanation. The gravy was stone cold and the beans had been clearly reheated numerous times. Orders were being given to wrong people and passed around. There was no order or clear leadership, sadly the staff seemed to be untrained or inexperienced. There was a puddle being mopped with a brush?? (No mop in site) and the employee had not issued a slip clone even though there was one metres away not in use! A young girl had nearly ran through the puddle due to their lack of awareness. Doubt we'll be going there again

Very shambolic service. Ordered the 12 piece boneless sharing meal which comes with 2 large sides (I ordered coleslaw and beans), 4 dips, 4 portions of chips, 12 chicken dippers, chicken popcorn and a bottle of fizzy drink. Then waited, and waited, noticing that a family who came in after me, and ordered the same meal, got their meal before me. I was told my order would ready next, which it was however I had to ask for the bottle of drink, as the server had forgotten it.

Visited with my wife whilst on holiday for a quick dinner whilst sight seeing around Anglesey. The food was Ok but the restaurant was dirty, it was nearly empty and there were several members of staff so I thought they could have kept it clean.

Wanted a quick snack before before a drive home. Service was prompt,staff pleasant and usual KFC value

Every time I visit it is always clean with happy staff. Going with family or friends its worth it you get good taking food quickly with fast service

Absolute joke didn't know staff could actually be that bad and keep there job this is my second visit guess what I WON'T BE MAKEING A 3RD the food was cold the coffee tasted like it had been made with dishwater absolute waste of money don't know why I bothered should of known better subway or mc donalds in future can have my money !!!!!!!!!!

I am sitting in KFC and there is no staff member clearing the floor it's covered in litter and used trays I've had to clear a few away just to be able to sit and have food!!! The food is cold (chicken fillets 3pc meal ) I would take it back but the staff looked rushed!! Not good I definitely won't be coming again.

Called in Sunday afternoon with my family and my brother and his family. ordered our meals; then found the seating area was really disgusting; not 1 clean table and food all over the floor. The place was clearly understaffed. 1 lad (Adam) on the till didn’t seem interested. I suggested we went elsewhere but the children were starving. My wife decided to wipe the tables down herself using baby wipes.

Order for two - gravy & wings from one meal missing (boneless banquet)followed by fries missing from another meal. How difficult can it be - restaurant and drive thru empty so not down to a busy period either. Better options available locally.

We ordered a bonless bucket with fries and sides, spent just under £20 for it and it was supposed to feed at least a family, got home and was very disappointed as there wasn't much in the bag, for a start you get the chicken in a small box and no longer a bucket, there was hardly any chicken and the fries were all soggy, we have had this before and its been spot on, we will definitely not return.

Called in as we wants something quick & cheap.

Flies everywhere. Was quiet yet still took 10 minutes to order. One apologetic friendly man who was trying to clean tables and said that they were always understaffed. Horrible lady at the checkout who was rude and screaming orders out like a banshee to people who'd had a long wait to order followed by another wait because the food wasn't ready. Dreadful!

I popped there for a meal, quick service, the sfc was lovely as usual, better than McDonald's any day!!!

Being a fan of KFC l was hugely dissappointed at how dirty the holyhead branch was toady.Despite it not being very busy the floor did not appear to have been brushed for a while with bits of food and paper everywhere. Out of the 10 or so free tables none had been cleaned after previous customers. I regularly visit the Bangor branch and that is constantly cleaned . I will not return here

again if u just dont feel like going home and cooking for one and just want a snack this is the place to go. not to expensive and a good clean toilets.

Plenty of staff, very few customers, dirty tables, sticky floor, but still had to wait for food and not because the staff where cleaning the tables and floor or replenishing the napkin dispenser, which was empty.

Visited here for first time, the service was less than welcoming, was met by a grumpy man serving us. He looked as though he couldn't wait to go home, (it was late on). The chicken wasn't that good, but the chips etc were fine.

Lovely staff, and the food is better here - it's not slapped together like at most KFC's - I had a ricebox that was nicely put together like the advert, not thrown into the box and shaken. Whenever we want fast food, this is the only place we'll consider now.

First time passing this KFC so we gave it a go. Not impressed at all. Just warm chicken that was overcooked, fillet burger rolls were really weird and hard on the top, not the usual fillet roll. Waste of money

Undercooked chicken in the middle. It was cold. Slow service. Not friendly staff. Place looks dirty. Will never visit again. Stay clear.

Ate from here last night using the drive through, took about 10-15 mins after ordering the food to receive it, after travelling half way home noticed several items were missing from the order so had to turn around and go back, they gave us bigger portions as an apology, but to be honest by the time we got home the rest of the food was cold so it was awful. Chips were like rubber. Isn't the first time they have messed up our order, don't think we'll be returning in a hurry.

Queued for 10 minutes whilst one staff member served two customers Placed our order and told there would be a twenty minute wait, we left. The place was empty

KFC, do I need to write more? Nothing good, nothing bad, just cold fries after 2 minutes. Plenty of seagulls attacking also!!! Great to watch.

Popped in as it was a bank holiday and my friend and I were starving! Well!!! We had 2 twister wraps. Took them back to our vehicle, opened them and couldn't believe what we were looking at!! They weren't wraps!! Just mushed something in a wrapper!! We managed to just about eat them to find the chicken was cold. We were going to take them back but didn't have time as we were working! Never going here again!it's shameful!Subway here we come!!

Went through the drive through ordered 2 adults meals and one kids, parked up to eat, only given me one pice o chicken for kids meal went back and told them, told to look properly in the bag, went back looked nothing except chicken in bag went back again they gave me my chips no apology, by the time I got back in the car my food was cold!

The service here leaves a lot to desire, staff are unwelcoming and unhelpful, errors with order and poor quality of food. Staff uniforms are covered in grease and this is off putting.

Every time I go I always hear the staff shouting at each other and everything seems chaotic, like a bunch of headless chickens being let loose in the back. Either they are understaffed or the staff are just terrible. Otherwise food is okay just like every other KFC.

As usual what you want is not available. So chose an alternative which on getting home found I had been given the wrong product. Food was cold, chips hard. Nothing different to the norm from this branch. Think I should just give up.

Not exactly fast at this KFC !!!!!!And why oh why do they have to greet you with "Hi Guys"Sorry "Guys" fast you ain't if this was in Kentucky your drive thru would end up a Drive By and the restaurant shot up for the poor service, the toilets might be fairly clean but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and my guess is that they don,'t give you a receipt, I have had one in the last four visits because the don't want you to complete the survey. Food? Well, as someone else said "its hit and mis, sometimes it's good but mostly it's oily and barely warm.

When we heard KFC was coming to Holyhead, we thought it was great as we love the food and it would bring jobs to Anglesey. Unfortunately it is a bit of a disgrace to KFC with their unhelpful staff and all the food is horrible. The chips are almost always cold and the chicken dry. Also when you ask for ketchup they will only give out the Heinz sachets, not the KFC tomato sauce dip - probably so they can save money.Something definitely needs to change.

Staff never seem interested, especially the drive through. Food is sometimes good other times it's like it's not fresh, expensive for what you get...

I never fancy a KFC because, obviously McDonald's is much better.. But today I though 'give it a go'. I ordered my food through the drive thru, got given my food and medium Pepsi, drove home and noticed my drink was half empty.... Now what kind of sick joke is that!? You pay so much for such poor food and poor service, for them to only give you half for what you payed for. I will not be returning, unless the unlikely event McDonald's is closed.

We recently visited this kfc and the drive through part. We ordered our food and was told to wait at the front we were advised it would be no more than 5min. Well after 25min and several other cars pulling up and getting there food, we asked a member of staff what was happening with our order. He returned from the shop without our food to tell us that we'd been forgotten and that we could come in for a refund. We found this totally shockink for any food outlet and a terrible way to treat a customer. We were never offered the option of our order to be fast tracked to a refund. I asked to speak to the manager who was not in and was told the assitant was getting our refund, he then just give it to a member of staff to give us without even coming to talk to me as i requested... this place is a terrible advert for the kfc brand..........

love this KFC we use a lot of them , but the Staff here are always friendly and polite , ive never had a time when i thought it wasnt up to scratch , all the family love it and we never have long to wait

As soon as I walked in to KFC Holyhead today I noticed it was rather untidy with tables not cleared with food and litter all over the place .i went to the counter to order for my family I was told the coffee machine was broken and was given Nescafé from a jar with hot water instead of the normal coffee. I had to ask for a table to be cleaned.if I was there on my own I would of walk out,but as I came in order to treat my young family I new they would be disappointed if we left so we stayed. Never again very disappointed .

I love KFC.... To the point I could of ate it three times a day ..... That is until I had one from holyhead!! Oh my days it was terrible ! From the service to the absolutely discussing food they served me I was disappointed. Never mind the toilets!!! One patronising member of staff calling me "darlin" after every word not happy!!

Visited a couple of times (drive through) with our children, orders have been wrong on more than one occasion, chips were cold, portions were much smaller than they should have been, doubt we'll go again.

Well our little one wanted something to eat so we went to KFC holyhead the food was terrible very greasy they ran out..f serviettes and wipes absolutely no idea what or how to help the staff just messing about with each other tables dirty sticky seats and food all over the floor will not be returning to this establishment.
