KFC in Carmarthenshire

Ordered meal plus 2 drinks which were full of ice and hardly any pop, would not be going there again. Not a patch on the kfc crosshands

Hardly eat take aways like this but we were in a hurry and really hungry. Thought KFC would be the best bet of them all. The alarm bells went when the server came to the drive through window- we should have driven on and not ordered. His clothes were dirty snd the window was dirty with greasy hand marks. ordered and drove on to the pick up window and saw that they had only scored 3 hygiene rating. I though all such establishments should be 5 Again the guy with our order had dirty clothes. The fries were inedible, and the chicken dry as a bone. Avoid at all costs. We were lucky we weren’t ill.

Had a great time. The kids loved it. Great value for money. Staff very friendly. Would go again any time.

With having visited this branch on many occasions, it was very disappointing that there were many issues from a ten minute visit and none were acknowledged with an apology. The environment was disgusting with rubbish left on tables and floors, with no intention of clearing up despite four employees available with an extremely slow evening and no reason not to. We ordered through the digital system in store and upon our order being ready we were informed that there was no mash potato and that “we’ve just popped an extra portion of chips in instead?”, no this is not what I ordered however if you had informed us of this, this would have been fine and if we were offered a refund for it. It was only until I asked for a refund for the two portions of mash potato we did not receive. The tall male with dark hair did not seem capable in organising this and lacked customer skills. Another male appeared to which was eventually able to refund the mash potato and said “if I get told off it is what it is”. My partner and I then sat down to have food, to which we noticed we were missing part of the order. Gone straight back to the desk to which no one seemed bothered to attend with any hurry and hiding behind the food shelves at the back - it very much appeared that no one cared. A female appeared, explained the issue to which she grabbed the missing item from behind and handed over. I returned to the table, opens up a gravy pot which was more runny than normal, dipped a piece of chicken in to find a fly attached. By this point it was frustrating as this experience was a disaster. Went back to the desk where the second male re appeared with no haste again, showed him the fly attached to the chicken to which he said “oh god” and did not say anything else. I asked was there a manager available, to which he said “I will get him”. The male re appeared, again with no haste and said the manager would be on his way. 5 minutes past and still no one so I asked was the manager actually coming to which the male confirmed the manager was on a break? The manager Luke, eventually appeared looking very disorganised and disheveled. He did not greet me with informing me he was the manager, and by uniform he could have been anyone having worn a black hoodie and no name badge. I asked was he the manager, he said yes. I explained the situation to which he first said he would replace the item. I explained the other issues we had encountered and this wasn’t acceptable. Luke didn’t really have much of a response or act professional in hearing a customer complaint, again seemed like not w care in the world. I confirmed that we could not physically eat the other items due to this, binned the goods which would be captured on CCTV and requested a refund. Luke found this difficult in organising and very similar to the mash refund, he said “if I get in trouble then...” he provided me with the customer service contact number and link in the receipt to report which I have done. I have taken images of the issues but I would highly not recommend this branch until they sort out their act! Having read the most recent reviews it seems others are on the same page - KFC sort out your H&S, F&S and staff issues.

No customers on arrival so we believed our luck was in. On entry floors ,tables very dirty, bins were overflowing. Ordered food at counter, served by a member of staff who didn't want to be there, manager appeared so I asked if he could clean our table and chairs to which he passed on to the member of staff who was dealing with our order, I've never seen a manager of KFC have no interest in the cleanliness of there establishment before. After collecting our order from the counter the member of staff came over with a wet cloth and quickly wiped our seat and table then left, we had to get some serviettes to dry the seat before we could sit down. The food was way below the standard you'd expect from KFC considering we were there only customers you'd expect fresh quality food. We realised our drinks were missing but when we went to ask for it the manager,member of staff and so called food prepares had disappeared.,10 minutes later we managed to get our drink. At no point did any KFC staff enter the dinning area to clean up. POOR MANAGEMENT. Eventually we left the majority of our food as it wasn't up to KFC standard and vowed never to return. In my opinion KFC need to get a manager who knows how to run a business or close it down and leave the fast food business to McDonald's and Subway next door.

This KFC is the worst I have visited the chips were soggy they had obviously been sitting for quite a while, the chicken pieces were also extremely poor the seasoned coating was so soggy it was inedible and went straight in the bin the chicken meat was dark again like it had been sitting for too long. All in all a dreadful meal. We live locally and unfortunately this will not be a restaurant we will be visiting again, as it was a takeaway it went to the bin at home. If I had been sitting in the restaurant I would have returned the food and asked for a refund. My advise avoid this restaurant. Whoever ownes this franchise should read all the poor reviews and do something about it SOON. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I visited and saved a trip when all the one star reviews total more than all the others put together there are big problems

Absolutely disgusting had my children with me the foul language coming froyn the worker's they were gagging making it uncomfortable to enjoy our food my partner did complain but we didn't get an apology the music was so loud especially the type of music they were playing was not acceptable table's filthy all in all will never return the workers don't care just plain rude

Not great at all. Have eaten here before and not had any problems, but today was sub-par. Box meals we ordered were without the boxes and missing the dips. Food was alright to be honest. After food we went and got 3 Krushems (one Aero, one Oreo, and one Milkybar). We were initially given two (which looked nothing like their picture) before we queried where the third was. The man that served us looked fed up and made a new one before sliding it across the counter to my dad before walking off. We felt as if they were all upset we’d interrupted their quiet period. Perhaps they’d all had a bad day, but it wasn’t very polite and we didn’t feel particularly welcome.

Avoid at all costs £24.99 for a boneless feast bucket and all they gave us was half the chicken fillets, no chips, no popcorn chicken and half the sides, upon complaint all we were given were the left over chips before they were binned, literally took the hot plate apart and scooped up whah came out, would not feed to a dog. Disappointed.

My husband, daughter and I are on holiday in the area and usually visit KFC in Norfolk. Our visit to Carmarthen KFC unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The chicken itself was almost in edible. The skin which is what we think is the best part of the chicken was so burnt it couldn’t be eaten,and the chicken was WELL over cooked . Between us we had a six piece family feast and it is unheard of for us to leave any , but unfortunately we left two pieces of this as it wasn’t edible. Perhaps I should have complained,but I didn’t…..bit on reflection maybe I can see why they weren’t very busy. Definitely the worst KFC we have ever been too, and no comparison at all for all to our local one

Now I'm no stranger to a fast food establishment. My companions and I have had good times in such places and I have no scorn for those who visit. However, this branch has some unpleasant issues. The food is entirely average for KFC, we all know what's available and how it should be presented, and the resulting tray of chicken and sundries was acceptable. My low score however is a result of every other element of the experience being well below acceptable standards. After many visits spanning a couple of years, i have yet to see the dining area clean. Every time I enter I see overflowing bins. I see tables coated in trays and boxes from previous diners. I see crumbs on every conceivable surface. I see disinterested and defeated staff members slouching around behind the counter. Even on slow days when the place is empty they are blind to the filth we must wade through to reach the chicken. The greasy ordering screens have never once in two years had receipt paper. The napkin and salt buckets are always in disarray. The button to open the automatic doors has never worked. It saddens me to have to give a low score, but in this case it's more than warranted. Nobody in the building takes any pride in their work. The management must be utterly terrible to inspire such low morale. I would say please do better, but I'm sure they won't. So be warned my friends. The chicken is certainly still KFC, but such trials one must brave to claim it may not be worth undertaking.

Dirty and grubby, staff dis interested and rude and so much for fast food. I love KFC but I won't be going back to this brach. Don't bother, keep away !

What an absolute joke! 20 minutes waiting to be served, no apology in between, when asked how long it would be until we are served we were told that they were concentrating on getting the deliveries out! Music blaring, staff just dancing and shouting at one another! Rubbish stacked up on the tables and the woman’s toilets blocked to the rim with tissue! Needless to say we walked out and shall not be returning!

On a drive from West Wales to home my wife and I called into this establishment for a lunch.This was not at all what I expectd from a KFC having visted many of the chain in the past.The person taking my order was totally inept and unfriendly. I got called to the counter and ordered a rice box and he originally gave me the wrong thing, then i asked for a refund of the product and he did after a short time then when I asked to order a salad he asks "Who comes to KFC to eat salads" detouring customers away form the branch.Once i got my food it was douched in mayonnaise, when describing the meal the employee didn't mention mayonnaise, upon receiving the food the rice box was flooded in mayonnaise, i requested a refund and had to wait at the counter for 15 mins before i got served by the manager because he seen me wait for so long.The overall cleanness of the restaurant was shocking, the tables outside were covered in old food and bird feces, the toilets had an awful smell to it, i walked out imminently, I can see from other reviews that i'm not the only one with this view, new management needs to be brought in.

Got my order wrong, then asked for a refund, and requested the original item I ordered. It was doused in mayonnaise so much that it was inedible, ask for a refund and after 15mins of waiting on the counter the manager has to come over and issue a refund, to find out the refund hasnt gone through so they taken mu money and didnt refund me after they taken the food back. One of the counter staff was wearing his facemask on his chin, meanwhile rest of the staff were correctly wearing the facemasks.

Visited this kfc today, people are pleasant food was great, but watched a worker serve us and others with same gloves then go outside to change all bins with same gloves on to then come back in to get clean bin bags with same dirty gloves touch all doors on his way, to them continue with bins and and touching all areas, gloves are pointless if you don change them.Unacceptable! Especially in these circumstances.

Service was fast, food was all cooked ok, staff were friendly. Don't know what people on here are expecting of a KFC but I've never had a terrible experience here, the worse was when I had 7 pieces of chicken not 8 however I'll forgive them for this as the gravy was spot on.

On a cold miserable winters day most of us want a hot drink with our meal. Well, you won't get one here, cold drinks only... Strange thing is, it's been like this for ages, so I'm no longer a customer. Even stranger is that this is characteristic of KFC in many places. There's more to this than broken machines.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for a fast food restaurant because I think it’s rather sad, but I feel the service we received today at the pick up window was far below what I’d expect... virtually non-existent, and I normally expect minimal customer service skills in places like this anyway.The lady at the order window is probably the only reason this isn’t a one bubble review, she was informative and polite; however, the bloke at the pickup window didn’t even bother to greet us, just looked at us handed us the boxes. No sauces were offered and my partner’s drink was missing, so we were just handed a tiny fruit shoot bottle, he didn’t even check with us to see whether it was a fruit shoot we’d ordered or the fizzy fruit drink (it was the latter). To be honest, I felt a bit uncomfortable so didn’t chase this up again. We were abruptly told ‘enjoy’ before the window was slid shut again.I later found there was no fork to eat my coleslaw with, so ended up scooping this out with my tongue and by using some of the fries. My partner’s burger was dry and he didn’t particularly enjoy his fries either. For a kfc, this was a very disappointing visit, we will probably avoid this one in future.

I was amazed how hard the young lady on the counter worked she was having to fullfill all the orders as well as take payments and orders on the counter, there seemed an over abundance of staff behind the scenes, it seemed totally unfair that she had to do all this on her own, this isn't 5he first time i've noticed this imbalance, they need more staff out front we can't all get what we want in those ordering points

Well I haven’t been here for many a month because it was awful last time. I thought I’d give it another chance. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Surly, abrupt staff , who gave my an incorrect order. The food was rubbish. The fries were burnt & luke warm. The chicken was tough & tasteless. My drink was nice & wet. Won’t be back here again. Somebody needs to get in there & do some staff training on customer service & on the way to cook & present food correctly.

Although the food is as good as any other KFC, the service here is repeatedly poor. There seems to be a huge turnover of staff so they are never trained properly. I heard several people say that it was almost worth coming in for the entertainment as the staff were all arguing wuth each other. This isn't the first time I've witnessed this. It took ages for the food to come, they messed up every order and prioritised the drivethru. It wasn't even very busy.

Not impressed, burger was ok, piece of chicken were discussing and dripping in grease and tasted gone off. No sweet corn either :( Toilets were filthy with faces smeared on the seat and blocked with tissue.

Called for a Friday evening takeaway treat, ordered via screens inside. Waited 15 mins for food and in that time it just seemed chaotic with no organisation, drinks being made and left to sude and muxed up, then there was a clear bust up between staff in the kitchen area as you could hear the shouting loudly. One member of staff apologised as i had my young son with me. Our order finally came and off we went, but they’d forgotten my son’s drink so went back in for that. Then back in car and off home 15mins drive away only to find that there were no chips for the bucket order at all. So overall an expensive takeaway and not a pleasant experience. Won’t be going back in a hurry

The food is simply what you’d expect. The staff are fine, the management are awful when it comes to rectifying problems. Extremely argumentative so go carefully as rational approaches aren’t on the menu. Will never visit the place again.

Outside Kfc was disgusting, all the bins were over flowing with rubbish on the floor as a result, I wrote a nice review about here ages ago, but I didn't even want to go in as first impressions are very important

Called in for a meal with my wife before going to the cinema. There were maybe 12 customers already eating, so very quiet ( around 3pm ). We went straight to the till and placed our order. All good so far. I had spotted some nice comfy looking seating to eat our meal at, but when we got to it there was food and rubbish on the seating and under the table. The table did look like it had just about been wiped but not very well. Surely whoever wiped the table could see the rubbish on the seats and floor. It looks more likely that it was staff who just pushed the crap off the table and thought “that’ll do”.

Went to complain about a tower burger as we both ordered the same however as my gf bite into the burger, there were bones.

Quick visit to the drive thru and was served by a very miserable lady (I was told called Rowena). If I could give some helpful advice, the hospitality industry is not for you my love!

Drove through Carmarthen KFC and all seemed ok until we got home most of the food was missing. Checked receipt to check and approx £12 of food was missing. I called the branch and explained the situation, they were expecting my call and apologised which was encouraging and indicated a positive outcome. Been here a few times and theres always something wrong and nothing is done to improve the service. Wrong food in my order, queues, rude staff (putting it politely) and faulty card machines. Spend your hard earned money else where!!

Why do most KFC always seem to be in need of a clean , food is good but the cleanliness is never good enough. It was quiet here but looked like it had not been cleaned for a while .

Been here a few times and not been that impressed with the cleanliness of the place. Tables like they are never wiped down throughout the day, seats and floors covered in food and the toilets.... Well just DISGUSTING!!!! Really been put off ever going here again.

Visited about 1350 with my wife and 7 month old grandaughter. Unable to get the automatic ordering to work so went to the counter. Waited and waited as only one lady taking orders ,making up the orders and serving. So very slow. The chickens pieces were greasy and soggy, the chips tasted awful and were hot but soggy as they had been standing in the bags in the warmer. I was a little concerned by the way the server handled the food. She placed her hand over the bags of chips so her fingers and palms touched the food...not hygienic at all.

We ordered and waited.I needed the facilities....big mistake ..dreadful smell.Food arrived chicken not quite warm enough but over cooked.Chips not quite hot enough.

Being big fans of KFC in other locations we decided to give our local one last chance following previous disappointing visits. Very sad to report nothing whatsoever has improved, as usual many items missing from the main menu and sides menu, no serviettes, only one type of dip available, all unoccupied tables full of leftovers and not cleared by staff, the floor was filthy with bits of discarded food and rubbish and the toilets smelled absolutely foul. We will never return, disgusting!!

Arrived home with food for my Autistic son and NOT for the first time FOOD missing, NO chips this is the THIRD time in two months

Restaurant was half empty, and yet was in a filthy state. Food all over the floor, wrappers and litter everywhere, literally under every single table. The bins were overflowing and were surrounded by discarded trodden in chicken pieces and bones.

Have food with my work colleagues every Friday, every single time we have been here its been wrong, cold, disgusting. Don't know why we thought this time it was going to be any different, minutes before I went to subway ordered 9 orders!!! not one single problem. Came to kfc for just 4 simple box meals not even complicating- all wrong, ordered two cokes, one diet coke and one fanta was given all coke? wtf?? then the lady couldn't rectify the order as apparently she do't have access to the till? load of shambles something needs to be done now!!!!

I like a kfc and have been to loads all over the country this isThe worst kfc I have ever been to filthy seems to be run buy people who don’t care

I always vow never to eat here again besides generally loving a KFC. This place is the dirtiest kfc I have ever been too and it always is! You take your life in your hands with the greasy floor. The bins are always overflowing, it’s always understaffed- and last night cold chicken with no chicken on the bone available unless you wait half an hour! KFC really need to look at this place and seek out new management! 5 star hygiene rating! I don’t think so!
