I would highly recommend the Fantastic Colonels 4 Piece Meal with a Drink and The Zinger Stacker Tower Double Chicken Burger Meal with a Drink. So Good and Delicious

Always missing items when delivered

Place was dirty, tables were littered with food crumbs and stains, the food itself was horrible and tasteless. Didn’t know you could go wrong with a burger and fried chicken. Waste of money

It was not clean as at the time of my visit. It was a complete turn off.

This is an email i sent to the CEO of KFC On the 7th dec still no reply so i have resent it,still no reply. Meghan, after not having KFC for quite sometime(years) i had that feeling come over me to taste that colonels secret recipe chicken, and so i drove to my local KFC which is 3 miles away in St Albans, 1 The Quadrant, Marshalswick, St Albans AL4 9RA I arrived to a menu which i wasn't used to, i chose 4 pieces of chicken, and paid £7.48 by card, the guy then produced a bag and handed it to me, not a traditional trademark box but a bag, i then took it home, to my disappointment there was no serviette no sterile hand wipes, no salt, just 4 bits of chicken in a bag. Two bits of chicken looked over cooked like the coating was burnt, the other 2 slightly under cooked. When i tasted them there was no finger licking flavour, the colonels recipe was non existent, i could have brought a bucket of chicken from Sainsburys with no difference, i then bit into the drumstick and it was red, under cooked which i couldn't eat. All in all my experience was that of total disappointment, maybe you should do a secret shop there so as to see. I have since spoke to a couple of people on Facebook who have said that the KFC recipe ingredients are costly and so they don't use them, it certainly tasted that way I await your reply. First time in over a year since got fed up with them getting our orders wrong. Once again they got the order wrong! So careless or incompetent it beggars belief. Shan't go again. Everything else closed so tried again. Got it right at last. Gave them another chance and all OK except said no salad in burger but they put it in anyway. Managed to navigate the in shop ordering system but on pickup, they forgot to include extra fries I had ordered. Ordering via machine in shop seems better than ordering over the counter been twice and both times, order correct.

We ordered to gravy and chicken box with a mix of bones chicken, boneless chicken which comes with popcorn and wings. Chicken burgers were ordered too and when we questioned that the bag looked small and was everything in there they read it all back and confirmed yes!!! When we got home what a shine chicken wings or popcorn!!!! Never trust them even if they confirm it’s all there!!

asked for a refund they gave me a Fanta

Worst customer service called up asking to swap my 4 fries for 1 small gravy and they refused. Food quality really poor. Hygiene poor. Overall need closing down. Also when you order online they just throw everything in the bag.

Asked Subbu how long the chicken was sitting on the hot tray and he said... "it's just come out the fryer, always fresh". To my surprise, he wasn't being honest and we had very soggy chicken. When I said "this isn't fresh" he laughed. I will not be going back. £10 for 6 soggy bits of chicken, what a joke.

Me and my friends were exited to eat here but was shocked at how horrendous the toilets were, they didn’t clean up after the last poor soul who had been there, a good majority of the wall was covered in what seems to have been the clumpy remains of spicy chicken covered in a brown sticky substance. Be wary if you need to go to the toilet here as they don’t seem to clean them at all, food was great if I didn’t see what I did inside those toilets, food was served fast overall good food but… you know

Fresh food and lovely staff, only minor issue was the fact that table was not wiped down and that was a negative in an otherwise entirely satisfactory and enjoyable meal.

The chicken is really good here compared to the other KFC's. Quick service, friendly staff.

I just ordered a meal for 1 and got it takeaway for lunch. I have yo say this is the worst kfc meal iv ever ordered!!! The chicken strips looks like it's been through war its look disgusting! I spoke to the manager n she said its because it's Saturday and it's busy I give up!

Ordered food 2hrs ago and keep up dating time slots now saying 9.05 pm and we ordered at 6pm . Tried calling multiple times and no answer. Shocking !

Rubbish everyehere. Not enough staffs. There is seriously hygiene problem there. Shame i did not take a picture of the bin. Just do not expect to be clean restaurant

Not sure if they've changed management but recently the food from here has actually been on point the past few times ordering! (Previously it was awful) although they've removed picking gravy as a side on their buckets... overall decent

KFC is the Best Fried Chicken money can buy. KFC is Delicious and Tastes So Good. I really like the KFC Zinger Stacker Meal & with a Colonel's Meal: 4 PC. I want 4 Thighs because the Thighs are The Most Tender & Succulent Pieces of KFC Fried Chicken. I Highly Recommend it

Ordered for pick up but staff didn't say it was ready until I asked and the chips weren't the best but otherwise good

Surprisingly good service and food

They're nice, they refund krushems if you order and theh don't have it working, and when they gave me the wrong size drink they just gave me a free extra one in the right size.

This place is a joke. Constantly messing up the orders. Haven't ordered in a while just because they got it wrong every single time but tried our luck this evening but the Kids meals arrived with no pineapple sticks or fries, just some popcorn chicken in a box. Total clowns

Don't use this kfc if you are using just eat. It never turns up.

I ordered a box with extra wings which I didn’t get it. Food was cold, fries looked old, definitely not fresh made. I waisted 15 pounds. I called them and I got told to complain with Just eat, but they made the mistake…… anyway I won’t ever get food from there.

Longest wait ever. Went in for a family bucket and ended up having to wait over a hr as they was way to busy sorting out the delivery people 1st before the customers in the restaurant. Definitely not going back there at all. What a joke

Quick service but the food wasn't great maybe it was an off day for them.

I would not even give 1 star! If you want to order from here then your in luck you will hit the jackpot! You won't get what your ordered, so please order chicken and you will end up with gravy! You may even be lucky enough to get through to the team who will then offer nothing as a solution! If you want the trilogy box meal then you best order the boneless bucket for 45 people and you may be in with a chance of getting what you want! Disgrace

Staffs are very slow on service.

Small neighbourhood concession with no drive in and limited seating, there appears to be no toilet facilities and there is limited parking for collection at busy times. Clean and efficient with polite friendly conscientious staff.

They continuously leave out items (4 x times now in a row) - it must be deliberate. They fail to respond to the phone. We've even tried going in - made no difference - they managed to leave out wings. Horrendous service, the chicken smelled strange and was dripping in grease - Manager is difficult to understand, and clearly doesnt care. Avoid at all costs!

Liked using the app to order my food but I had to go back for my drinks

Well I did work there I was a cook food hygiene is terrible when cooking food alot of safety was skipped overall wouldn't recommend buying from this kfc they skip quite a few things in the restaurant

Food was ok-ish, on the greasy side but no surprise there. Service on the other hand was slow... would have been quicker for me to jump the counter and serve it myself with no experience. And that wasn't on a busy night. Better off ordering on an app so you don't have to wait around twiddling thumbs for 10-15 minutes.

AVOID! Haven’t been here for two years and I remember why literally worst kfc in Hertfordshire fast food? No you have to stand there for 30 mins with them not having a clue what there doing some people get there food straight away other left to wait actually witnessed them saying they didn’t have any utensils to get the chicken out so actually let the lady pick it out herself in front of 10 people definitely don’t follow health and safety! Disgusting avoid!!!

Very bad service and nothing is available.for dine in they don't have any single plate available to serve and no ketchup.the tables looked terrible. We asked for clean it and waited for ages

Decided to try KFC after a 7 year hiatus…what a mistake. A proper waste of good money. A soggy burger that might’ve been made 2 days ago and cold, stodgy fries that I wouldn’t have served to my dog if I had one.

Food was nice but the self service kiosk's are a pain to use like most of these things and it's hard to know if you're going to get what you ordered. Only one member of staff on the tills. Food did come quickly and was hot and fresh. Overall good.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill, which I am sure is partly due to Covid. Having to wait for your order, as both a customer and a delivery driver, both times are just as long, there is no rush for delivery drivers.

Everytime im at this one exact KFC restaurant (St Albans) this guy apparently called ed always finds a way to disturb me. Since he apparently is always there, he has orange hair and is quite good looking. Once he peed on my burger and another time he spat in my bucket of chicken. His mouth is never not full of chicken either he goes around munching like nobody ive ever seen before. Hes always loud and disturbing yet liked by the workers. THIS NEEDS TO COME TO AN END.

Like biting through shoe leather! I have ordered KFC via JustEat 4 times now. They have managed to get something wrong with the order 3 times in a row; chips missing or wrong meal. This time they actually got it right! However, I ordered a tower zinger burger, I’ve had them before and I knew what to expect. I bit into this burger and it was so tough I could barely get my teeth through it. Furthermore, there was so much salsa on it, it made the bread bun wet. Absolutely inedible and disgusting. Be warned.

I received my bag with items scattered all over the bottom of the bag, buckets emptied etc. i told the member of staff to “take more care with packing”. After leaving I continued to mutter about the matter to my girlfriend, a female member of staff who happened to be outside happened to overhear me and shouted at me “to not talk about him because he’s autistic”. I explained that I was upset about the fact my items were at the bottom of the bag and that his disabilities are somewhat irrelevant as it’s a matter of service. Every comment I made after that she did a very good job of making it seem as if I was making personal comments about his autism. She swore at me multiple times. Very uncomfortable. Friday 15th 9:30ish pm

Had a delivery 2 nights ago I only live 5 mins drive away but it was totally cold when it arrived - chicken was soggy,, chips were soggy AND cold the whole meal was disgusting. Shame there is no option to give zero stars. Never ever ever again. Appalling food they should be ashamed.

Awful service managed to get all three things we ordered wrong which is quite an achievement considering we only ordered 3 chicken fillet burger meals

Terrible, terrible, terrible, no coke, no Pepsi, no Fanta, no sprite just diet drinks, yet again no breast pieces just meatless legs Nd thighs, cold chips, 3rd bad visit on the spin. What an absolute joke!!!!

Every single time I order from this place, there's always items missing. The quality is also not up to the right standards; chicken is dry, fries are soggy & always cold. All in all this place is a joke and KFC Management need to sort it out or open another KFC in St Albans and let this place go to the wall.

Terrible experience. Sunday early evening. Ordered online for collection. Once there had to wait over 1/2 hour, then only got my order as had to make a point my order seemed to go completely off the board for being prepared or ready to collect. The shop was full of customers. The orders for delivery appeared to be the priority. Only one customer waiting to order was seen, the next lady in line was asked to wait. The staff were working to get out the orders but as mentioned before deliveries seemed to have priority.

Don’t bother ordering for delivery- always pick up- they have yet had one delivery right. And even if I go to pick up they’ve missed items - I have to check before leaving.

This is the worst KFC I have ever been to I ordered a fillet tower they put so much sauce and mayo it was a load of slop I throw it away I will never use this do not go here for your food it is absolutely and there is a person cooking the food is absolutely disgusting the state of the shop and the state of the staff is terrible

I orderd a 6 piece bucket of the orignal style crispy chicken the service was quick but when i opened my bucket the chicken was just bone no meat. The batter was super soggy and was falling of the chicken also the chicken meat was really damp.

Slow service. Have got my order wrong multiple times. And I know for a fact management treat staff badly. Wouldn't go here to be honest.

Food was prepped really quickly. Staff were helpful...Another customer was rather demanding and staff were nothing but polite. All tasted good to me. Minor complaint was no salt in the bag, nor an offer of any as the food was handed over.

Horrendous place this is not KFC but pretending to be. Went in there to get 10 piece Wicket Variety bucket but what I got was a heavy brown bag. Thinking it was nice juicy spicy tasty KFC chicken inside but instead small finger sized tasteless bland breaded chicken fillets and 4 cups of Baked beans. Who the F wants Baked beans I didn't go there for Baked beans I went there for chicken, 4 Corn pieces on the hob and 2 packs of marble sized chicken nuggets. Wasted my hard earned money 18.99 on this tasteless shht , no wonder why the brown bag was heavy to carry. I can't believe people waste their money on this place, it should be shut down, this is not KFC, never again. I wish I took pictures of the meal to show you guys, lessons learned.

I went today, it's seems like the service/operations really tried to serve the delivery companies and those orders seem to be satisfied quicker than the walk-in customer. The bites I ordered were probably taken by someone for a delivery order. Had to wait 21 mins, I could see the order moved to the collection screen after 10 mins and then it hit 21 on the collection screen. Felt uncomfortable as at one point there was 8 riders waiting for delivery orders.

DO NOT ORDER VIA JUSTEAT. I’ve ordered twice from here and both times there were multiple missing items. I let it go the first time but I’ll never order from here again. They also have a service charge which I have no idea what is for as the service is mediocre. I don’t get how hard it is to read a screen and put the items in a bag. Order at your own risk

Ordered via JustEat and it arrived with missing parts of my order. Called the KFC St Albans number to tell them (7 times!) and they never answer! Be careful if you order as there is no way to get it rectified or complain, so this is why I have left my review here for others to see.

Gave this place another chance today and I've taken away 2 stars. The customers that were in the shop to order were being ignored. They were just concentrating on the takeaway orders for uber and just eat. I did, but I shouldn't have to ask if they are going to serve their customers waiting to order in the actual shop after 10 mins of standing there. Again when I got home my order was wrong!! I don't think I've ever had an order from this one that has been the correct order. I won't be giving it a 2nd chance. This is the worst KFC around for miles.
