Kenzo 72 Lounge Bar & Kitchen in Swindon

This was our first visit to Kenzo 72. Our hosts told us that we would enjoy the experience and how right they were. The quality of the food, presentation, ambiance and the professional service exceeded our expectations. For starters our party of six selected a variety of dishes to share and everything was delicious. For mains we ordered five Fillet Steaks and one Rib Eye steak together with individual side dishes. The steaks come to the table alongside a hot stone to allow the diner to complete the cooking to their taste. A great experience and mid way through the meal the stones were replaced with new ones to ensure the last bites were as hot as the first. The food, service and experience were amazing. Just four of us chose desserts and we all chose differently. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our choice, especially the Eton Mess. Throughout the meal we enjoyed some very good quality wine that further enhanced the whole experience. In summary, our evening was really enjoyable and I would like to thank each and every member of staff for the preparation and presentation of wonderful food served in a lovely ambiance by the front of house team.

Kenzo used to be my favourite resteraunt but the food was below averaged and over priced. £26 for a poor steak before adding sides or sauce is unacceptable. The starters/tapas as not what they used to be, seem like basic bookers (wholesale) produce. The waitress was abrupt and unhelpful when querying the noodles. Disappointed to have waisted £200+ for 4 of us. The only decent thing was the wine.

First thing we were told was that they needed the table back by 8pm - hardly the welcome you expect. It’s cold and there was an unusual smell. The cocktails were poor quality, the peach Bellini was too thick & the cosmo presentation wasn’t great either. Food was poor… 3 scallops for £13.50, is very expensive came with limp asparagus. The steaks were very expensive and come with nothing but sauce so you have to order fries. The Bernaise sauce was pale & tasteless. Then to pay £7 for chunky chips with Nando’s chilli salt on was ridiculous! First and last visit for me!

We were refused a refund of the deposit because one of our team mate didn’t come due to testing positive for Covid!! The restaurant was empty the whole time we were there so it wasn’t that they have lost their business and we have still ordered a lot of food and drinks, couple of bottles of wine etc. Thos is not part of the T&C and also is illegal!! The foot wasn’t great and the chicken skewers were made of the chicken skin and fat This was not my first experience at Kenzo 72, we had a takeaway before and the chicken was partly uncooked I will never go back to this place again

Having enjoyed Kenzo's several times before, we were looking forward to another pleasant evening. Sadly, that was not to be. It was a cold evening outside, but on entering, instead of being met by warmth, we were met by air conditioned cool. It honestly wasn't much warmer inside than out! We were sat to our table and it was so cold I had to do my coat up and blow into my hands to warm them up. Clearly the staff had got used to it and being so busy, we're probably building their own warmth anyway, but for us sat down, it was unpleasant. I asked a member of staff if they'd got the air con on and remarked how cold it was. She went away to check and returned saying the air con was on 20° so there was nothing she could do. There's a big difference between air con being on cooling mode than heating mode but however it was set, it was unpleasant and certainly not the atmosphere to enjoy a nice meal whilst sat with your coat being fully done up. This isn't how we want to spend our money or evening so we decided to leave. As we did we looked over to other diners who also still had their coats on! Clearly it wasn't just us who noticed the chill! Instead we went to Los Gatos which was by contrast lovely and warm, and a lot busier. I do understand that energy costs are rising, but if you want to encourage diners to come and stay, and choose you over popular local competitors then the atmosphere needs to be at least comfortable. Having to sit with your coat done up and be told to put up with it, is not how you do that. Shame as we were looking forward to a great evening, but definitely won't be returning in a hurry if they keep the restaurant so cold.

This was my second visit to this restaurant to sample their lamb. My previous experience was not great. This one was an abomination. The lamb rack was a good number of chops 7 or 8 already carved off the spine. The volcanic hot stone using butter to cook the lamb with only a single paper napkin to stop the splashes of hot butter on my expensive French linen shirt was noted and suggested to the staff but ignored. The volcanic stone is usually 250*C and the smoke point of butter is 175*C. This means that using butter to cook on volcanic stone is potentially toxic. The staff had no idea of the temperature of the stone (Except that it was "too hot to touch so don't touch it"). I managed to cook all eight chops after getting a second hot stone half way through. The icing on the cake was when I pointed out that the raw meat on the very nice wooden board sitting next to partially cooked vegetables is a health hazard was greeted with "We have passed all the health and safety standards required at this restaurant. Well just wait until someone goes down with severe food borne gastroenteritis at your restaurant. I am a retired health and safety inspector so notice these things. I will also be writing to Michelin to ensure that the Bib Gourmand list know about the health hazards at this restaurant. EAT HERE AT YOUR PERIL.

Don’t book. They’ll cancel your reservation at the last minute leaving you high and dry. They don’t answer emails and don’t care about complaints. What a shame. They could have at least offered a discount off a return visit.

We were here for a Father’s Day Sunday lunch. I had a phone call from Kenzo on the Saturday evening asking me to confirm our attendance. I was advised at this point that they do not have their usual menu on a Sunday & only have roasts available. I asked if they had a vegetarian option & was told that they did. I therefore confirmed that we would be there. On the day I asked what the vegetarian option was & was told that it was a roast without meat but extra vegetables & the cost was the same as the meat option! I highlighted that I had specifically asked about the menu & was told that there was an option. I do not consider just a plate of vegetables to be appropriate. Due to the cost I had the meat served on a separate plate (for the meat eaters) & had a plate of vegetables. The roasts were served one at a time with quite a time delay in between which was quite bizarre. The food was just ok. We have eaten here before from their usual menu and found the food & service to be good so this was a big disappointment for us. They knocked off 2 large cokes from our bill in recognition of the issues. We would eat here again but not on a Sunday!

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We had made a reservation in advance for a party of 15 to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were looking forward to trying the restaurant since it had received good reviews online. Upon our arrival, we were seated promptly and given menus. However, our server was slow to take our drink orders, taking over 10 minutes to return to our table. When they finally came back, we were disappointed to find out that the wine we requested was unavailable, and two others were not available either. We were asked to choose a different wine, but it did not quite meet our expectations. Unfortunately, the service was relatively slow, and our food took more than an hour to be served. Additionally, some dishes (specifically, 2 Chicken Katsu and 1 Salmon Crispy) were served cold, making us feel like they had been stored in the fridge for some time. Furthermore, some dishes were also not available. Although we waited a long time for our starters and mains, we were not informed that the kitchen would be closing. Additionally, the servers did not inquire if we would like to order desserts or more drinks before the kitchen closed, meaning we missed out on trying any of the desserts and final drinks. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was slow, the food was cold, and not all of the wines on the menu were available. I would much rather go to a restaurant where I can get a good meal and good service. To help enhance the restaurant's service, you may want to consider the following suggestions: • Providing training to the staff to ensure they are more attentive to the customers' needs. • Ensuring that all the wines and food listed on the menu are available. • Please ensure that the food is adequately hot before bringing it to the table. • Informing customers about the kitchen's closing time so that they can order dessert accordingly.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews. We came to Kenzo 72 specifically for sushi but then decided to add the 5 tapas dishes. Tapas dishes turned out to be a massive mistake I'll rate dishes in order: Salmon sashimi - this was good Spider crab roll - good but a lot of extra sauce, the crab was cold and hard to taste. Crispy salmon roll - so covered in sauce it could have been anything but not bad Tapas dishes Calamari - very fishy for calamari Chicken wings - bland and tastless Popcorn crab and prawn - disgusting swimming in oil weird taste Garlic prawns - tasted odd, like old prawns and were super salty Duck rolls - standard frozen ones not bad, not good The tapas was like the christmas food offers, everything was frozen and highly processed. I ignored the tapas as it tasted nasty, but my partner tried his best, however has now had food poisoning and spent the night with d&v trying to eject the food. I think on reflection the fold was varying temperature, so some was definitely not cooked throroughly. For an meal costing £78 we were very disappointed. Overall sushi wasn't awful, but was also not good. The tapas was disgusting. This place is more of a drinking spot, with plenty of premixed generic cocktails. Unfortunately we will not visit again.

Kenzo is by far and away our absolute favourite restaurant in Swindon. The food is superb, great choice whether looking for a light bite, healthy option or full meal. The cocktails are delicious with a great selection. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, I cannot fault it at all. Many thanks for always providing a great service and giving us a fantastic experience.

Can not fault the food , drink selection & fantastic staff . Best bottomless brunch I’ve been to by far. Thanks to the amazing staff , we had a great experience and lovely family afternoon . We will be back .

I went with my wife for a different meal, the staff were amazingly professional and so polite, we ordered tapas and a main cider, very filling but so well cooked and presented, highly recommend

The place is losing going down hill, have eaten here a number of times and normally enjoyed it, this was our first visit in almost a year. We arrived early and had intended on having a drink before our table was ready, despite our table actually being free, we are asked to sit in the bar area, it was cold and got even colder every time the door was opened. We ordered three drinks, a wine, coke and a pint, simple enough order, then sat and waited and waited, nearly 30mins pasted and we our asked to take our table, then our drinks arrived 5 minutes later. Service was average, they are polite but seem to lack any real care, despite a number of visits to our table, they still left empty glasses sitting there, they even moved them to place plates down and then left them on the table. Was was above average but not great, doubt I will returning until the summer month’s as it was actually quite cold in there. The place needs some money spent on it.

Had a quick bite and i have to say the food was spot on, had some fun cooking my steak on the iron plate and side were really good too. Will defiantly be returning next time for an evening dinner with cocktails

Really delicious food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered far too much but enjoyed every dish, the tapas is the best around. Cocktails are 2 for £11 and the mojitos go down far too easily.

The Kenzo fillet steak continues to be one of our favourite delivery meals, although the 5 tapas meal choice is also very good and we have enjoyed quite a few since the last review.The delivery times, with one exception, were all reasonable and the one slow one was rectified very quickly and satisfactorily when we chased it up.

Worst place to go, staff rude offensive and threatening. Say they have a 2hr policy of seating but only tell you after the 2hr is up.Poor communication, staff rude and incompotent. Food was awful overcooked chips crispy hard you cant bite into.The manager was very unprofessional and unfair of how he dealt with a complaint, as a Asian owner we felt he had discriminated us due to our race .I have left honest revirws and travel worldwide giving honest opinions of visits, this sadly is 1 of my top 5 worst service and food i have encountered in 30 years. If Management cant deal with issues then dont become manager, Only worth a visit if your drunk or desperate for crap food and service.

Our favourite restaurant in our recent stay near Swindon. Loved the ambience of the place, the staff were friendly and very attentive and the food was outstanding. The cocktails were wonderful as well. I had the lychee martini as something new!! We had various tapas plates, the best being the aubergine. All was excellent! Thank you!

Terrible service and mediocre food on Christmas Eve.After obligingly arriving 40mins earlier than our booking after a phone call from the restaurant earlier in the day advising us that they were closing early, we were made to feel very much like an inconvenience as the staff clearly were only interested in getting the restaurant cleaned ready for them to go home. We had to go and find a waitress to take both food and drinks orders, three dishes were unavailable, although the waitress didn't know until the orders had been placed, two dishes didn't arrive (had to go find a waitress to ask where they were) didn't bother with desert, coffee was basically warm milk, thoroughly awful experience, family meal ruined. Arrived 7.30 and left at 9.15 so didn't outstay our welcome. Won't be returning.

Lockdown #2 saw me order my first takeaway from Kenzo, since the I have had numerous meals.We have never eaten in the restaurant however I cant fault the takeaway service.To start with I was dubious about ordinary steak as a takeaway, I can honestly say it eas perfect restaurant quality just in a tub. The option to add a free tapas dish to some mains is awsome.I'm always on the lookout for something different and Kenzo ticks the boxes.We would definitely recommend these guys they do a sterling job 5*

Food was excellent. Beautifully cooked and hot. Good portion sizes for the type of food. Lovely ambiance, nice decor and service with a smile from friendly helpful staff.

i think it’s unacceptable how the waiters and waitresses don’t receive their tips that they have personally made after their shifts. i have a waiter a tip and found out after that they get none of it. never coming here again.

We visited by chance and glad we did. Ambience for a Tuesday night was buzzing and the food was fantastic. We had the Japanese crab cakes and Tokyo Chicken starters and then had fillet steaks which we cooked ourselves at the table on a hot stone. Absolutely loved it. No complaints about over cooking the steak! Highly recommended

Went for lunch, food was okay if not over priced for what it is. Invited my son and his son who was 6 at the time to come after they had finished at the Barbers, they got there at 2.20pm, I ordered them drinks and asked for an ice-cream to be told no the kitchen was closed, ironically the table behind the waitress was just being served a dessert, whilst telling me the kitchen closed at 2pm. Shame on them we won’t go back. No Customer Service This was before lock down so the date is incorrect

We opted for the small plates/tapas option and followed the advice of 3 dishes each. Turned out this was just right for a tasty and filling meal for two without feeling stuffed. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. We thought there was a mistake as the Garlic Chicken Rolls did not come with a sauce, but they don't need one - moist chicken almost perfumed with garlic, lovely. The Beef Croquettes were a great surprise - the meat was definitely the hero and not the potato.A reasonably priced bottle of Gavi rounded off the meal. Prices are only a little above the average for the area - appropriate for the quality of the food. Service was superb...even though our server Tom was wary of opening the wine at table! He asked Hinpen (sorry if I've misspelled her name) to oversee so we all ended up getting some useful hints and tips. This easy conversation and rapport between staff and customer really made the evening special for me. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back

After experiencing the takeaway menu a number of times visited the restaurant to firstly compare the in-house dining experience and secondly as a sort of thank you for helping to keep us fed well during lockdown.Being a lunchtime it was quite quiet, but the restaurant is spacious and covid procedures are good.We had crab & prawns popcorn and aubergine fries as starters, and both had Truffle beef fillet as mains with mixed veg side. These were very well cooked, the veg were nicely crisp (my mother would say undercooked but she does come from the soggy veg era), with a very nice red for me and cocktail for my wife. We had no room for pudding, just coffee. The staff were very efficient and friendly.Overall a good experience, and something of a treat.

We booked table for 2 in advance! Arrived 18:30 and they told us we have to leave table by 20:00, OK that's not a problem. When we ordered a started, they told us we have to order all food together and it will came out all together, what?! We had a starters calamari rings /main 2 plates of sushi (that's around 8 pieces each plate) / burger + bottle of rose. (wanted keep 1 menu for later in case we want more sushi, but they didn't allowed). All this food came out same time. Starters + main dishes. We had no free space left on our table. (table for 2 so you imagine how small the table is) Was very disappointed, while we enjoyed starter the main dish was getting cold, and felt very rushed to eat...Under this circumstances won't be returning and wouldn't recommend to others!

In the latest lockdown we have tried to support local restaurants that have been doing takeaway/delivery at least once a week. We have had six meals delivered from Kenzo and have enjoyed these all, either the tapas style choices or the fillet steak which is one of our favourites. The food has been well prepared and is very tasty. Delivery has been in a reasonable time (although we tend to order in the early evening soon after opening time).The portion sizes are good, with us getting enough to have a full meal and a little left over for a snack the next day. It is fairly priced based on the quality and quantity.

First time for delivery and all looked good on the website unfortunately we missed a trick, should have requested that we wanted our chips cooked rather than soggy and would have preferred a cooked burger, although do appreciate that some people prefer rare beef, you probably need to specify. Bottom of the burger bun seemed to be 90% water 10% bread it just fell off in a soggy mess. You live and learn I guess and would not recommend. The positive was that it arrived quickly perhaps if it had arrived 10 minutes later everything would have been cooked.

We decided to order from here as we’ve heard about the food but never tried it ourselves. We will 100% be returning. We had the best meal delivered to us, the mealwas fresh, hot and the steak was cooked perfectly. Plenty of food portion size also. Excellent service and food. Thank you!

We ordered a takeaway for Saturday evening, only previously eaten in the restaurant. Food and service perfect. Really friendly team spoke to Johnathan and Jodie. Jodie was really polite and upbeat, she even rang to confirm exact time of arrival of food. Food was fresh, really tasty and hot on delivery, Great all round. Thank you

Decided to last minute book with my boyfriend and try it out for the first time for a fancy meal. We both had the steak that you cook yourself on the hot plate and with peppercorn sauce. It was the best steak I’ve ever tried the seasoning given was beautiful and overall melt in your mouth. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Not to mention the covid precautions they had when entering made you feel very safe and in professional hands. Perfect for a fancy meal for two and would definitely recommend!

The Asian style tapas is great; crab & prawn popcorn is very tasty. Cocktails are great, loads at 241 all tbe time.

Ordered a takeaway tonight from one of my favourite restaurants in Swindon. It arrived really quick, piping hot and just as delicious as eating in the restaurant. The BBQ ribs portion was so big I have enough left over for tomorrow night so for 2 meals worked out to be a bargain. Thank you Kenzo for keeping me happy during lockdown!

Eating in food was always nice last few times ordering food is bland..or over cooked or not very tasty... disappointed... though the cocktails are the best.

Shared tapas with a couple of additional items. Food was tasty, a great choice on the menu still. It felt well managed and safe and it was a very positive experience. When the bewitching hour came, the staff were very polite and ensured all the guidlines were met without being officious or pushy. Well done and a big thanks to the whole team.

We went to Kenzos for a Sunday roast with friends and what a meal it was. They are very Covid safe, the staff all in masks, keeping their distance and cleaning thoroughly between service. The food was delicious, with mashed as well as roast potatoes, lovely tender meat, a Yorkshire pudding and thick gravy. We'll definitely be going back.

Very impressed with this restaurant. It was our first venture out for an evening meal since lockdown. The staff were wonderful, food outstanding and the Covid procedures spot on and made us feel confident and relaxed. Well done! The fillet steak on the lava stone was exceptional.

Great food and service and the COVID precautions were excellent 2 sides and 2 mains and 2 soft drinks for £1 was very good value and portion sizes were also very good.Service was prompt and friendly without being intrusive. Would use again for sure. Thumbs up from me

This amazing restaurant was able to fit us when I had made a booking but it had not be notified to the company. Please be aware if you make a booking via the website it may not be booked into the restaurant, however the restaurant made sure were were sat and able to eat. Covid friendly, staff very productive and food was amazing! Thank you.

Visited here with my girlfriend on date night and it was outstanding. We had our temperature checked prior to entry and given hand sanitizer as well before going to our table. The tables are cleaned down throughly between uses and plenty of hand sanitising stations available throughout. We had Tapas for starters which were amazing, with big portion sizes it was hard to finish the mains! We opted for the Sirloin Steaks which were the best steak I have ever had. Plenty of herbs and sauce was provided. The cocktails are great too. Definitely recommend and will be returning

Absolutely 5 star. The staff were nothing short of excellent, the food was delicious and the Covid precautions sensible and well executed. A really polished performance, can’t wait to go back.

Ordered a burger and Katsu chicken both excellent, the chicken was huge and the burger really good quality. Also had a couple of Pornstar Martinis delivered 2 for 1 deal - perfect ! Quick service I can see this being a regular thing on a Friday.

Went for dinner last night and everything was fantastic! The food was brilliant, the restaurant was very clean and they were taking all the right measures. But Paul, our waiter was ACE! Honestly the best service I’ve had this year - was looking forward to trying Kenzo and will definitely be coming back!

We’ve just had a take away from Kenzo 72. And we’ve all said the same that was beautiful. Katsu chicken curry was more than enough, great quality and big portions. Real value for money. And will deffo be paying a visit after lockdown. Thank you.

I ordered a Sunday roast takeaway for Fathers Day and was not disappointed. The delivery arrived at the arranged time. Very tasty, generous portions and all cooked perfectly. Will definitely be ordering from Kenzo 72 again.

We've been to the resturant a few times and have loved the food and atmosphere. In lockdown we decided to collect a Sunday Roast (delivery is also available) - the food was fab and the portions were huge. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to returning to the resturant!

We ordered a take away from kenzo 72 (through Just eat) prompted by a text message to say they were open and taking orders, which I had received from them. We ordered 7 items off the menu and each dish was exceptional. The sticky twice cooked ribs were a highlight. The delivery was quick (ordered at 16.25 and delivered at 16.55) Highly recommend.

This really is quality food. Highly recommend the Fillet steak it’s was the best I hve ever had from a restaurant. Both mains and side dishes were exceptional. Cocktails also were lovely. Brilliant services and delivery time! Highly recommend

OMG I swear this sushi was AMAZING! We were a bit reluctant being delivery but due to circumstances we’re all facing, we thought we’d give it a try (We’ve ate in restaurant previously and never been disappointed).. however.. Opted for sushi and it was soo tasty! I swear I won’t have any other sushi unless it’s from Kenzo.. it was THAT tasty! Thank you! What a delicious surprise! 5 stars! ⭐️

Excellent food they do early bird half price 6pm to8pm Friday and Saturday but you need to book as very popular. Would pay full price other night s but is worth it.

Amazing food. Great staff. Everyone loved the food. Service was brilliant. This is a great place to eat. Atmosphere is lively and friendly.

The vibe and decor are pretty cool and an after work drinks session would work well here, with a few tapas.Unless you’re a fan of Iceland inspired apetisers and sweet chill sauce dips and sauces, stay away from the food. We ordered beef/ chicken skewers, spring rolls, scallops and dumplings that were disappointingly from the freezer and sauce efforts were simply to squeeze from a bottle. The sushi, beef stew and garlic bread were maybe the highlight of the evening, but not worth the amount paid.Staff are a bit odd. We asked for the bill and they said they needed to clear the table first; they also have a bit of trouble keeping themselves occupied, but attentive at least. The restaurant phone rings over a tannoy which is annoying when you’re eating and trying to into the evening chill vibe.Cocktail offer 2 for $10 was decent - so again, go for drinks and fried snacks; but not if you want a fancy dinner / hearty or detailed food. As you’ll see from the menu, the restaurant has a few issues identifying what it wants to offer, with a range of sushi, beef stews, steak and pad thai and a de gusto of sticky toffee pudd, guests are left just as puzzled.

We booked our table from 6-8pm, arrived just before 6pm drinks were ordered and food soon after,the food arrived and was first class,at 7,30 we tried to order desserts and were told the kitchen was busy and they could not offer us desserts.after my dad having a heated discussion with the manager they dropped the drinks from our bill and gave us a free bottle of Prosecco,that’s great but they had 30 minutes to take the order for our dessert and serve them,to be frank it ruined the evening and we will never go back.we knew when we booked we had the table for two hours and in our opinion all they had to do was take the dessert order and push it through the kitchen.very very disappointed

This was an early in the week date night and my first time here. There is nothing I could fault. We went for the Cote de Boeuf with the sides of French Fries and Onion Rings. It was huge and top quality. There's was more than enough for the two of us to share! Aliyaah, our host was great. She was friendly, happy, well presented and very attentive, making sure to offer us new hot stones as soon as ours began to cool.

Nice meal at this restaurant. The tapas and drinks were first class but if I’m honest, I’ve had better steak elsewhere but the service and everything else was lovely. Just lost a star for the steaks. Would definitely return though. Will try other dishes next time.

Food is great service is great and the price isn’t bad too.best place in Swindon to eat. Try the Saturday early main meal is haft price.

Lovely lunch at Kenzo today. This is the beef sirloin from the £9.99 lunch menu. The Southern fried chicken and Japanese curry sauce was also very good.

Decent steak to be honest, good service and my daughter loves the Tapas selection. Don’t understand why this is classed as a Chinese restaurant

Group of 10 visited for a monthly visit to a local restaurant. We started with a selection of sharing starter plates which were very well cooked and went down very well with all present. Most diners had the hot stone steak, both rump and rib-eye. Everyone reported great satisfaction and excellent quality of steak and very tasty. Most drank red wine and enjoyed several bottles of the house Malbec. No one went for the desserts mostly because they had had plenty to eat by that time. The serving staff were very pleasant and friendly. The bill ended up at around 40 pounds a head, but that included quite a lot of wine! We all would definitely recommend and probably go for another visit sometime in the next few months.

Celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, we arrived for our table on time (6pm) but the meal took almost an hour to arrive. When we finished and asked to see the desert menu, we were told that our time was up and we had to leave as the table was booked for someone else. The manager point blank refused to serve us a desert, wouldn't even offer us to have it at the bar. Outstandingly rude and poor service. Birthday ruined. Avoid.

We drove all the way into Swindon to eat at this resturant. I believe 30 minutes should be enough time to have a quick lunch especially when open light still on.

We’ve visited a few times and always enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere! Two of us has the grilled chicken which was really nice and filling, one had some tapas bits, but the beef skewers came out a little cold which was a bit disappointing. But other than that, food is really good and the service is great.

If you have lots of people with different culinary tastes and preferences this Fusion restaurant is for you. Our party comprised two couples with meat, piscatarian, veggie and vegan preferences and all bases are covered. Superb service, stunning grub, beautifully crafted and presented but don't over order. The starters/tapas are actually quite substantial along with the mains. We ended up doing a take out with our left overs but no complaints as we experienced so many different options. We loved this venue and the staff were so accommodating. A brilliant eaterie to suit everyone.

Came here for the second time last evening with family. Both times have been lovely.

A big group they were super organised the service was amazing. The food no complaints at all. Everything really well done and amazing flavour.

The name and décor suggests Japanese, the menu is a bizarre mix of world cuisines, with most things feeling about £3-5 overpriced and often served in the most gimmicky way possible. Famed for its steaks it seems, you receive a slab of undercooked beef, and a scalding hot stone to finish the job "to your taste". Except after 15 minutes the stone is too cold to achieve a consistent result. The stones also generate massive quantities of smoke, so you leave smelling of cooking. Starters are massive and overpriced, and again you can choose averagely executed dishes from all over the world.

Disappointing for a vegetarian. Only about two things on the menu noted as being vegetarian even though at a guess there is more. Ordered the vegetarian dumplings, after cutting in to one found something suspiciously like meat or prawn, no-one returned to check how our starters were so by the time I managed to get someone’s attention to ask what it was the rest of my party had finished their starters and I had been totally mentally put off mine. I was informed it was quorn and that they have lots of people concerned about it, which begs the question why continue to put it in there? I didn’t eat the starter as I still felt concerned. The vegetable pad thai was nice. The meat eaters in the party were happy with theirs, the cocktails were nice and the staff friendly but I don’t think as a vegetarian I would return there are places with far better choice and direction in Swindon without the need to create a fuss.

I had been looking forward to going here for a while, my daughter lives in Swindon and we were visiting. I had been on their website and saw that all main courses were half price friday and saturday before 8pm.

We have visited this place a number of times. Introduce many of friends to date every one has enjoyed both the food and the ambience of Kenoz72. Our favourite place to eat. Thanks David and your lovely colleges for a lovely evening.

My go for the all important works dining experience. a delightful and well put together menu. a little pricey but worth it.

Went here on the second sitting on a Saturday night. The food is excellent, I had the rib eye steak which you cook yourself on a hot stone. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be going back

Went her for Mother’s Day lunch. This was our first Sunday visit after previously always going to the Weighbridge. Due to the recent comments about the weighbridge I didn’t want to risk it so booked Kenzo after speaking to a friend who had recently eaten here.

Been a few times now, menu is very creative with lots of interesting and delicious dishes, still haven't tried them all.

Took my mum here for Sunday Lunch. Incredibly eclectic menu. We decided on Tapas, although the Sunday roast looked very nice. So impressed. The service was excellent, the food fabulous and the restaurant is very well decorated, comfortable & inviting. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. Can highly recommend this little gem.

Went for a meal with friends last night and it was fantastic! The food was amazing and we were pleasantly surprised to find the early bird special of 241 cocktails and half price mains!! I had the ribs with sweet potato fries and everything was perfect! The sauce is quite sweet so may not be for everyone but I loved it.

A group of 10 of us went to Kenzos on a busy Saturday night.

Visited Kenzo many times and is our favourite place to eat out for a special occasion. The food is always impeccable, so much choice on the menu and have never ordered something we haven't liked. We can never fault the hospitality, everyone is very attentive. The food always comes out quickly, even on a fully booked Friday night. The steak is amazing quality and we love that you can cook it yourself. The Tokyo Chicken, panko crumbed onion rings, beef skewers for starters/tapas are beautiful and the peri peri chips are lovely. Holy Cow Sundae is delicious. The atmosphere is great. Visited both as a couple and a group and always a great experience.

My wife and myself were given a 60 pounds gift voucher to eat here .When we went to pay the 52 pounds bill we were offerd no change or credit note for the 8 pounds owing if we had been given a credit note we would of put this towards another meal there,now im not to sure as I feel cheated . Not sure what the law is on gift vouchers .

All food was great, starters very nice. Steaks and chicken mains all very nice, the ribs were very tasty and all were really good portion sizes. A good atmosphere on a Saturday night and good service. No complaints and would visit again.

The food was great. The service matches well worth visiting. Steaks all our table had we all agreed were the best we have had in a long time!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Restaurant. This was my first time trying it out and it did not disappoint! We booked our staff Post Christmas meal here and we all had a fab time. The food was gorgeous. The drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic were lovely. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. What more could we ask for?
