Absolutely love the food and the ambience. Great service. We have the Mashawy feast. It was just outstanding! Expensive but totally worth it

Food is great Mashawy platter for 2, nice hidden spot underground and there is a lot of space when we went.

What a great place. 4 of us went for lunch and although the place was rather quiet on a Wednesday lunchtime, if full, the atmosphere would be buzzing. Belly dancer on certain evenings apparently. Decor superb and service was excellent. The food was amazing. We went for the £55 Meze, which was superb….the lamb melted in the mouth. Great, great place. We all loved it. Will be back. Make sure you have the Persian wine. Wow.

The food was ok. Chicken was soft and moist but the lamb kofte and lamb cubes were very overcooked. The atmosphere was good. One thing to note for Muslims looking to go, they offer a iftari special. That being said, During Ramadan why are you still doing belly dancing? I don't need to explain why this was a shock to us but it certainly didn't help make our Iftari meal feel comfortable. There's a time and a place for these things and Ramadan isn't the time to have belly dancing. Give the women a break along with your eyes. I also think the price was very expensive for what you get. The dessert was awful and underwhelming.

Had an amazing tine here for mothers day. Food was incredible, the waiter was really attentive and took time to explain the menu!

Very disappointed Iftar menu had nothing to remind the iftar No soup , no Ramadan dishes.. The food served was dry and the salad not fresh .. the cakes at the end were dry and not tasty … the service was very ordinary:( Big disappointment

We did the Mashawy platter for 2. The hummus and baba ghanoush were delicious. The mixed meat plate that came with the platter was very good and we enjoyed the small desserts that came out at the end. A little bit of everything across the board made us very happy. Large and interesting restaurant in the basement of the building.

From start to finish, the experience with Kenza was exceptional. Getting the (work group) booking sorted and finessed (as people were added/pulled out) was efficient - and patient! The food was exceptional - all members of a fairly diverse party (of 10) were impressed with the quality and quantity of food, as well as the broad array of dishes which catered to different requirements. The service was excellent, and the entertainment was enjoyable and pitched at the right level. Would come back in any group size or just with 2 of us!

i had a delightful experience at the restaurant yesterday. The atmosphere was really beautiful. additionally the service was exceptional it was my first visit and the staff member went above and beyond to help me understand the menu in detail.

Belly dancer entertainment that invites guests to dance. Good Turkish and Middle Eastern food. Loved the shaksou sausage, my baba ganoush ended up as hummus and the server who took our order did not ask if we wanted sides when we ordered our grilled mains so we hastily had to order sides when our grilled meat mains arrived. Liked the layout and the decor and the belly dancer was the icing.

Kenza is the place to be if you are looking for an Arab/middle eastern cuisine and experience. Just amazing. The atmosphere is spectacular. Enjoy a dinner with a belly dance show. Service is great and the place is just lovely!

Delicious food, great ambience, and our waiter Younes was very attentive and served us well. Cocktails were made to a high standard. Really enjoyed it here for my 40th birthday party. Highly recommend 👌

Perfect ! nothing negative to say, it is worth the price.

Food wise: Got 3 stars as the portions should be bigger considering the prices. Flavour wise, food was a bit bland for us, but might suit those who prefer their food not too seasoned/flavoured The restaurant is beautiful, makes you feel like you stepped out of the busy city of London and into the middle east. Not very wheel chair friendly as you have to go down 3 flights of stairs, no lift. We came with a toddler, during off peak hours on a week day and it was quiet which was nice when with a child. Feedback would be to increase the portion sizes, have some sauces on table for those who want to add a little extra flavour/spice to their food. And keep an eye on the toilets as someone left one of the toilets very dirty (why are some customers like this?😴😴) I would come back to get the night life experience and try the other food on the menu.

Went here as part of a large party for business. What a great experience. 3 fantastic courses with plentiful portions, great atmosphere and entertainment. Will certainly let go again.

We had our belated team Christmas party at Kenza on Friday evening. From the moment we booked till the moment we left everything was spot on. The food was excellent, the sercice was attentive, warm professional (special thanks to Addi) and the general manager who lead the team. Cocktails were also going down nicely. Kenza is one of the best hidden gem in London, thank you to the whole team at Kenza. I will be back soon. Bruno

Food was very tasty, great flavours. Only one person serving so not very attentive but was fairly quiet with only couple of groups in so was fine for us.

Food is subpar to be honest, as a middle eastern it doesnt taste very authentic on the main dishes, i ordered the fish plate and wasnt underwhelmed. The grilled meat was good but no sauces or dips with it so felt dry. Staff was also a bit rud. Aesthetic of the place is amazing.

We went to Kenza for our work Christmas do and there were 35 of us. The food was amazing, the service is lovely and there is a really good buzz there. The only complaints I heard from colleagues was it was a bit cramped and difficult to mingle and talk to everyone in our party, and the dance floor was VERY crowded when we had to move from the table. However, I think that's just the nature of the venue. I would absolutely recommend Kenza, particularly for smaller groups. So good!

Went as a group. Booked for 7pm. First course came at 8.50pm. One small salad and 2 dips between 8. 2 belly dancer's, 10mins each. Main course came at 9.20pm. Dessert was very small, no tea as stated on menu. Food was nice but not worth the money. Would not go again. Would not recommend.

Went there as a group of 25. Had a set menu which was bomb and had tons of food which isn't usually the case with set sharing. I wouldn't recommend cocktails if you want something that has decent alcohol quantities. Very sweet. Go for Lebanese wine or beer instead. Had a Belly Dancer shower mid way through our meal. Great food and entertainment.

A great night. Some of the very best Lebanese food I've ever had. The meat was extremely tender and tasty. The service was absolutely incredible and the servers couldn't do enough for a big party. Side note, the Lebanese Pilsner, Almaza, is a great drop.

We had our Christmas dinner, and though it was a big group of over 30 people, the food and service was impeccable. We started with the Turkish bread, sambousek, halloumi, houmous, batata harra followed by a huge platter of kebabs- Chicken and Lamb and they were mouthwatering followed by desserts. Portions are huge, and everyone was full. Located in prime location in 2-3 min walk from Liverpool Street station and great service.

Service was friendly and as one of the first tables there we benefited from a very swift delivery of our food order. During our meal we enjoyed one belly dancing performance lasting around 10 minutes, I thought this was quite well done and definitely added to the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of the meal. The bill for the two of us came to £150 of which £45 was spent on drinks. This felt quite reasonable for what was a generous quantity of food. Overall this was a solid dinner with mostly decent food, speedy service and some entertainment thrown in. I would consider a repeat visit in future.

My favourite place to eat - i;ve been here over 5 times now and never had a bad experience. It was an experience that left my taste buds dancing with delight (plus belly dancing too!). From the warm ambiance to the exceptional service, every element of the evening contributed to a memorable dining adventure.

The food was very nice specially appetizers, the staff are very friendly I only didn’t like that it’s a bit loud and you have to scream when talking to others

It was very quiet when I went with a friend, we were calling out trying to find a member of staff for a good few minutes. The food arrived quickly, the hummus with shwarmer mushrooms was really delicious, the halloumi with rose syrup was interesting and beautifully presented. The tabbouleh was okay, I make a better one though, and the chicken parcels we had were not very exciting. The staff didn't hassle us to leave so we enjoyed a chat after eating, they didn't offer coffee or anything else after the meal. I'd heard great things about this place and felt a little embarrassed that I'd chosen it, it didn't live up to the hype on this occasion and there are so many great places to eat locally I wouldn't return. Maybe it's better in the evening.

Excellent place for Middle Eastern food with a stunning ambience in the City. If you're using Google maps, the place can be slightly tricky to find as the map takes you to a wine bar behind which Kenza is located. The zaatar flatbread, the falafels, the muammara, baba ganouj, everything was pretty much bang-on. My only regret is that I had so much food to eat that I had no space left for desserts. A shout out to our server Tarikul, who was very courteous and prompt.

Great food, entertainment and atmosphere! DJ was really great too! Hidden treasure that you will not be disappointed about. They can accommodate dinner for 1, 2 or up to 20!

Came here on a Sunday evening for my friends birthday and had one of the feast menus. It was amazing value for money and the food was excellent. I've only given 4 stars as the service went downhill towards the end of the meal- given it was a Sunday and not too busy, I'm not sure why? Overall I would definitely recommend.

Such a great vibe place! Great food with massive portions! Belly dancers ladies are a great entertainment and you can dance with them if you’re not shy. Great service as well, even tho seems to be short staffed they’re doing great job. We were served by a lady with a long brown hair, I think she was Polish. Very nice and polite. So I have to be brutally honest- if you’re coming for the dancers and the escape to a Lebanese feeling space then this place is great. However we felt service and food were below par - especially as each plate is a set menu. Mains were quite basic in terms of flavour - and that’s something all of our group agreed upon. Starters were enjoyed throughly - the bread was delicious (although I am unsure if it was freshly made?) The service was my main concern really - for a upper class space, I would expect a minimum service that was not provided, example upon entry there was no regard for the cloakroom - almost pointing to the set of hangers in the back for me to hang my coat. I politely passed my coat over anyway but from a hospitality POV it’s not proper etiquette. Further more as a group of 9 that had to leave early due to later plans- the servers didn’t even offer to pack our dessert away that hadn’t been served. I had to request the items we’d paid for which seemed odd. They didn’t even pack away the full dessert options (at this point I couldn’t be ask to follow up). Moreover the leftover foods they nearly had the cheek to ask me to pack it myself 😅 again I instructed them to do it - but I do feel that the service should be checked. Belly dancers were all FABULOUS, talented and beautiful! Atmosphere and music were GREAT. So again I would come here for the vibe - but not so much the service ! I would expect more from this place and was disappointed somewhat.

I was impressed with Kenza, the restaurant is an amazing looking space. We managed to get seated at one of the booths which I would definitely ask for again. We were there for a team lunch and I thought the set menu was good value. There was lots of food and the taste was fabulous. I had the Baba Gannouj and Moussake but also tried the Falafel and the Chicken - all excellent. We had a small issue with the bill (an honest mistake) but the restaurant actually contacted me to notify us as we hadn't noticed - which I think shows excellent customer service. I can give no higher recommendation than everyone wanted to go back and even take the Mrs!!

The worse misbehaviour I have ever had from a waiter in a restaurant like this. The so-called Manager who doesn’t speak good English, his selection of words were very poor which shows his rude behaviour towards the guest. I asked him if we could talk to another waiter, and he replied he is the Manager, as if he has the authority to speak to the guest inappropriately. This waiter/manager was wearing grey trousers and a grey shirt tonight. I will never recommend this restaurant because this type of waiter/manager. Also, the standard of food quality wasn’t very good.

Wow - you definitely come here for the experience! This restaurant is stunning, the design is beautiful and brings out the cultural element of the cuisine. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the belly dancers and the music. There was clearly one belly dancer who seemed the most authentic, the others hmmm not quite sure and need to work on their skills. Food was decent although strong taste of lemon through everything which made the food taste a little unpleasant at times. All in all we loved the atmosphere here but unfortunately wouldn’t go for the food, just the entertainment and the aesthetics.

I will never go to this restaurant nether recommend this restaurant. A waiter called himself a Manager wearing grey trousers & grey shirt was very rude to us. This waiter’s behaviour was very unacceptable and inappropriate in a restaurant like this.

Sack the DJ. Mishmash of 80s and 90s oldies assaulted our eardrums as we tried to make sense of the large menu. Food was good as was the service. The belly dancers were chubby, ample and surprisingly quick on their feet as they entered and thankfully departed quickly. £190 for 3 people was extortionate.

Really well decorated, down to the bolt on the toilet cubicle door! Really cool vibe in there. There was also belly dancing, which I always find a little awkward, particularly as I was there for a work dinner. I saw some groups got a kick out of it though. The food was fantastic, I shared one of the feasts. The entrees were light and fresh, the mains were perfectly cooked and tender and the desserts were sweet as is expected from this type of cuisine, without being overly so. The pouring of the tea was quite cool to watch and the desserts were well presented on a high-tea-like tower. Prices weren't as high as I would expect given the quality of the food, restaurant location, presentation and decor. I'd definitely return.

Very difficult to find the place. Tucked away behind some offices and is in the basement. Food was good. Very loud blasting Turkish music was impossible to talk. Would I go again ? No

I loved the interior of this restaurant almost like you could be in Arabia! The food was very good, The only improvement would be the 'meat platter' it was referred to as that with ONE lamb kofta... per sharing plate so that didn't make any sense. Bar that the mains were excellent and very very good in portion size. Wine is good price per glass. Try the Lebanese wine.. really took me by surprise. Light but dry very easy to drink... maybe too easy ! Lol. Will be back for sure.

We loved the food. Made some of us come out of our comfort zone with choices but did not disappoint. The entertainment livened up the atmosphere, the violinist was superb and extremely interactive. I have been before and returned for my daughters graduation celebration meal. It was a great end to a lovely family day. We will return.

It was my first visit to this restaurant and me and my friends absolutely enjoyed it. The delicious food, atmosphere and entertainment were all really good, loved the belly dancer! The manager (Younes M) was really helpful in explaining the menu and he was really friendly to our table and served us with a smile. We had a lovely night out and I will definitely return.

If it wasn't for the belly dancing performance, this place would have been reported to authorities. We ordered multiple meals - mine was the Mashawy option - and it was missing the Sambousek Lamb starter but we were charged full price for the menu item. The food was nothing special and nowhere near filling. Some of us ended up going to McDonalds after due to the small portions of the mains served to us (at 40 quid per person mind you!). I know tons of Lebanese spots that serve the same food in other areas of London that are much cheaper and more in quantity. In addition, we had to ask for a jug of water for the table and they brought it with one ice cube in it. Once we paid they rushed for us to leave. The security were being jobsworths also which was the final straw really. If the place was cheaper I wouldn't have complained as much but the belly dancers were the only feature of that restaurant worth commending. But belly dancers or no, I'd avoid this place. Unless you've got more money than sense and are trying to lose weight - then do what you feel!
