What a fantastic little find!! Offering Vegan, Vegetarian & Pescatarian options 🪴 The food was delicious, freshly prepared and you can tell it was made with passion. The juices at Kata Kata were amazing too!! If you’re ever in Brixton it’s a 100% worth a visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here with my two friends for a light lunch. The vibe was very relaxed. Cafe was well decorated. The savory crepes looked delicious but I had a sweet dessert crepe. The ingredients were obviously very fresh and flavors worked well together. I would definitely come again and try a juice next time. My friend had the detoxifier juice and they made it right it front of us, it looked lovely.

Delicious vegan food, lovelyfriendly service, great vibe and £14 for a decent bottle of wine- what's not to like! Was visiting a friend who lives nearby so this will be a regular go to!

Great find, we loved our lunch here today and 2 of the 3 of us aren’t even vegetarian. The owner/chef was managing on his own but stayed calm and friendly, yes, we waited a while but the galettes were well worth waiting for. Stuffed with perfectly cooked vegetables and cheese ( vegan options also catered for). Coffee was really good as were the Joyce’s. Too full for pudding and too early for cocktails sadly as they looked great. I wish I lived nearer this place.

I had the pleasure of introducing four work colleagues to Kata Kata today, safe to say they will all be coming back! The food here is delicious, with a large menu of delicious vegan and veggie treats, although Im not veggie, the crepes and clever fresh fruit smoothies are so tasty it feels like you are nurturing your body and soul. Yes, it takes a bit of time for the food to come out as it is freshly made, but it is worth the wait, and you have time to enjoy the ambience. Because I was with a load of music lovers, the playlist was very appreciated Such a friendly welcome and we felt looked after the whole time by the charming staff 10 out of 10

This place is a lovely idea and great for vegan options. However, there was one man doing the waiting and cooking. As a result the service was so slow. All the customers were getting irritated. We waited 30m for the bill at the end and were then told it was cash only so had to find an ATM. Also, the food was pretty bland.

So Delightful - Food and friendly staff! I went with a veggie friend - I’m not usually up for strictly veggie stuff - but this was delicious food. Also - they have an incredible back garden. I cannot rate it highly enough.

I wanted to like this place so much. First impressions were good, they make nice juices, the decor is colourful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, when we ordered the 'special' crepes, they took an absolute age to arrive. Like a lonnnng time, and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. Presentation was great, I was itching to get stuck into it. But with each bite, I searched for some flavour, there just wasn't any. With so many ingredients , nothing banged. I had to ask for chilli so my tastebuds would awaken. But even that didn't change much. A real shame, Im puzzled how it could be so tasteless. It was the same for my partner. I consider myself open minded and like most food and always seek to eat new things, but this, was a no for me.

A charming colourful African restaurant introducing you to Cameroon flavours. Very nice atmosphere, lovely background African music and generous servings. You could also buy some vegetables from them and when you will see how big and colourful their veggies are, you will want to get some.

Very cute looking place with loads of options for food such as vegetarian, vegan or even gluten free. Homemade smoothies are a plus, and you can even make them alcoholic for a little extra money (like very little extra money) and you get a wonderful cocktail. The food is gorgeous, served at very good temperature and delivered to you quite quickly. Very fulfilling along with a very affordable price. We had three crepes to share for lains and it was way enough, but we were curious to see what the sweet side of those crepes would be. We were not disappointed either! Would recommend 100% and we will come back for sure! Evangel, the cook, is a massive plus to this venue. He’s nice, caring and loves what he’s doing. Thank you Kata Kata and see you soon!

Nuestro amable y sonriente camarero nos dio la opción de elegir dónde queríamos sentarnos. ¡Este miembro del personal nos brindó un servicio maravilloso que estaba completamente solo! Trabajó muy duro para preparar todas nuestras comidas y bebidas. La comida / bebidas eran absolutamente deliciosos. Incluso cuando hubo un problema con la luz del baño, intentó cambiar la bombilla y cuando esto no funcionó, ¡usó su propio teléfono como una antorcha para proporcionar luz! Además, la música alegre se escuchó durante toda la noche para mantener a todos a flote. Gran hospitalidad y una agradable velada. Sin duda volvería.

Stopped here for a coffee. What a smashing place - vibrant, colourful, with lots of little nooks and crannies, a wonderful place to chill out. Excellent and charming staff. Loved it and I’ll be back to eat this time.

This place is incredible! The galettes and crepes are the best I've had, with lots of vegan options. Also a great range of juices (which you can upgrade to a cocktail) and extremely friendly service in a fun and informal space. We went there yesterday and we're already planning to go back :-)

The food exceeded expectations, the vegan galettes are very tasty and the flavour combination with the beetroot salad and balsamic dressing works very well. The food is reasonably priced with a meal and smoothie for less than £10, the food is quite filling so you'll leave feeling satisfied. The staff are very friendly and the live music was a welcome accompaniment to our meal. It's slightly out of the way from Brixton town centre, but worth making the effort to visit.

Visited this beautiful eclectic cafe last evening with my son. Loved the atmosphere even though we were the only customers at this time! Hopefully just a slow time as we felt this was the type of place all our friends would love to visit...and we'll definitely be telling them! Though the menu choice is limited to galettes and crepes, there is a fantastic choice of tasty ingredients to fill them...The food was made with great care and tasted delicious, the owner was charming and made us feel so welcome. Loved the generous glass of red wine and the local Brixton beer too. We will definitely be back.

Wow! A great-tasting discovery away from the usual Brixton Village options. Freshly prepared and a good choice of filling crepes, served with care, a very well priced. The chef greets you as you enter, cooks in front of you, and is very friendly. Great music and art on the wall - this is a perfect setting for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

This lovely place is one of my favourite places in London; as art meets with humanity on so many levels. First of all, the place per se is super colorful, with space both outside (still hidden by nature from the road) and inside where cosy sofas just wait to be sit upon. There's so much art,and they actually have changing exhibitions at the back. They also host important and interesting events, creating a stronger community. The space is filled with colours and inspirational quotes. Everytime I come I feel like I am in a friend's artsy studio. Then the food. So freaking delicious. So many vegan choices that my eyes cry of joy. I have come with meat or veggie eater and the reaction has been always the same: bliss. There's a selection of sweet or savoury crepes, all so original that everytime I have a hard time picking. And also the people working there are really nice people, with good souls. I highly recommend this to anyone. It is a loss to not have come here.

Nice people and a relaxed place on a Saturday morning. 1 plate between 2 is probably enough if you're not starving as they're big crepes. Red Goat crepe was really tasty.

No llegamos a comer aquí, después de conducir durante una hora y cuarto. Mi hermana me compró un cupón groupon y vivimos en el norte de Londres, así que era un poco de una misión. Nos reservamos como solicitado y llegamos a un restaurante vacío justo después de 6. 30 de abril el viernes 20 y me dijeron que estaba completo y que no había hecho una reserva. Me mostró el propietario/maître d la vale y donde me dijeron que para hacer la reserva. Yo también le dije que había tenido un momento de Groupon, que era cierto. Me dijo que debería haber reservado con el restaurante y no creo que la reserva vale me llevó a su sitio web hasta que le dije el menú. Entonces, él dijo que debería haber llamó. Le dije que tenía, pero su teléfono estaba continuamente activado. Él no niega, pero señaló una silla, dijo sentarse y caminamos hacia la parte de atrás. Sin embargo, nos fuimos tan genial la comida podría ser no quieres comer después de una desagradable bienvenida. Como ya se ha dicho, el lugar estaba vacío, él podría haber dicho bien si puedes comer en una hora o incluso para llevar, pero no ofrecieron nada. Este era mi primer excursión después de tener un virus muy desagradable y bajar por 6 semanas y nos llevó otra y 400 horas para llegar a casa. No es bueno.

Fui allí solo la primera vez. Me sentí relajado y como en casa inmediatamente. Me hablaron pero me dejaron a comer en paz. La conversación era tan interesante que fui a ellos. El lugar es limpio y con creatividad. Hay fotos interesantes con la historia. Muchos artistas vienen de allí y hay una sala para pequeñas reuniones. Las comidas son deliciosas y creativas también. I have been twice in 3 days of time that I stayed in Brixton. I loved the place, the music, the lights, the food, the drinks and the staff. A lot of vegan options and gluten free. I really raccomand Katakata and I am looking forward to come back!

He estado en KataKata dos veces y en ambas ocasiones me ha encantado. El lugar tiene un ambiente muy fresco y relajado. Existen diferentes opciones de tortitas en el menú así como zumos frescos. Es un lugar muy agradable para ir a almorzar.

Excellent place for Vegans and gluten free people! Excellent food and service with a smile for a budget! Real treat! We were a bit apprehensive first as many places are not very coherent with their ethos. But really taken by surprise here with natural products from tea to dessert and of course the crepe is not to be missed with our famous breton ble noir! Well done guys!

I was dragged to this restaurant and,er dragged out lol. I am not a vegan or vegetarian. My son has been nagging me about my eating habits so I went with him just to say "I don't like it", but I loved it. I never thought for one moment, that vegan/vegetarian meals would be as tasty or filling as it was at Katakata.

We were met by friendly staff and the food was prepared from fresh ingredients as we drank their gorgeous coffee. Tasty vegan options (which the manager intends to extend further) in a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended. Thank you.

The food is always 10/10. The wonderful aroma of fresh ingredients being cooked along with the dimmed lighting and soulful music in the backdrop makes Katakata a very special place.

Had a lovely meal at this independent, quirky restaurant. Good veggie food, all cooked in front of us, with a lovely healthy drink to wash it down with. The staff were friendly and it was definitely worth the 10 minute walk from the centre. Had a small selection of art on dispay too, which was bright, colourful and eye-catching. As soon as you arrive, you automatically feel relaxed, welcomed and enchanted by the decor. Staff are friendly, accommodating and explain fully, when asked about the food. The food is freshly prepared in view. The three hours we were there, felt like we'd only been there for half an hour. The food tasted great and the portion sizes were surprisingly filling. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the business of London, without breaking the pocket.

Visited with 7 family members although the food when it arrived an hour late was tasty the service was really disappointing as it seemed one guy was cooking, serving drinks clearing the tables and washing up as well. Considering it was a Friday night and really busy, he was on his own. A real shame as its a good vegan restaurant. It is also cold and the chairs aren't very comfortable.

I have read reviews about the service being slow: if you complaint about that it’s because you don’t know where you are. Off course they take time to prepare the dishes as cooking requires loves and passion. If you want a faste service go to a fast food or a restaurant chain.Last but not least : prices are so good , not overpriced at all.Will definitely be back

This a veggie, vegan creperie any the are welcoming to all. The teas and juice are really fresh. The ginger and mint tea has an incredible kick to it. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is done with love, what more can you ask for.

I love this wonderful combination of Cameroonian and French food, being also all their vegan and/or vegetarian dishes. I am an omnivore, but I have really enjoyed these viands too! I ate the jerk goat and it was very tasty. The local is cosy and the staff are truly friendly, so I will repeat for sure on my next visit to Brixton ☺

we had a really lovely meal here. the décor is simple but all ingredients were freshly cooked to order and the service was polite and friendly. my husband had vegetarian and I had vegan. I would really recommend them and I will definitely be going back again.

This is a lovely little place, it is a shame they have not yet gone fully vegan as I would basically live there if they were. We used a tastecard which meant that the value was astonishing. All of the food was fresh and the interior is colourful with a peaceful theme. When we went there was subtle live music playing in the background, which helped set the mood. All food is cooked right in front of you. I do not typically get drinks at restaurants but I had two drinks here because everything was juiced fresh and tasted absolutely beautiful. The workers really put you at ease, they are all very friendly and approachable. We will definitely be back.
