Kassini in Allerdale

Be careful! Ordered on foodhub once when it said here they were open, aswell as foodhub said they were open. 15 mins later waiting for confirmation, got declined. Turns out they were shut the entire time but promoting otherwise. This was 2 days ago now. Checked with foodhub today and here again, they again said, they are shut but at the moment of typing this, it says otherwise online. They clearly cannot promote their opening and closing times properly so payment goes back and forth so you end up waiting to get your money back. Honestly need to consider keeping up to date with something as simple as this before you put yourself online. You weren't so bad before.

I am a regular customer of New Kassini ordered tonight and paid I've just had a text informing me that New Kassini had cancelled my order I've tried ringing them twice but no reply this I find unacceptable so I'll go elsewhere in future very poor service

Normally I would have gone somewhere else as I thought this place had dissolved years ago after finding it on a whim and not being not too impresed at the time (10 years + ago) Honestly though, I never thought I would be able to eat a Chicken and Doner wrap the size of my forearm...but I gave it a good go, and that was after having cheesy chips. I only got ⅓ of the way through it, the rest is lunch. The quality of the food I though was great, the doner meat was nice and rich with a good peppery flavour to it, which is what I like from the product, although I couldn't really tell whether lamb meat was primarily used for the rotisserie. I did think there was maybe a little too much sauce in the wrap as it made it quite soggy, but who doesn't like getting their fingers messy while munching on a wrap?? The guy who appeared to be in charge was great, explaining that they were changing up the prices and menu as there was nothing on display in the shop, apart from an old takeaway menu. And his customer service skills...bob on! Still need to give the pizzas a go before I give a real overall score, but right now, I do recommend you try the place. 👍👍

The driver told me that they knocked. They did not, I was angrily told that the food was outside. It was on top of my neighbours car cold, and also incomplete. I have been told that i am a liar and to never order here again. I will not, and I urge you not to as well.

The shop is a wonderful small buisness with limited staff, and I know from personal experience that they do sincerely try their best to cook great food at affordable prices. And they always give big portions and care for the customers feedback and loyalty! Recent times ( Corona ) has strained the buisness staff wise. The owner spends every day 12pm to 12pm in the shop preparing everything before each evening just to assure people still get the best possible service from the food and shop. There is just a struggle to fill the staff gaps! But remember The food is great when there is enough staff to cater to the demand in orders. I urge everyone to try this place at least once. Weekdays are a good day for better quality as you will avoid the weekend rush. The main thing to keep in mind with this shop, is its popularity in Maryport. ( making some deliveries longer due to the travel distance and shortage of drivers ) as the buisness is only limited to one driver a day, with weekends running two due to the quiet nature of the shop. Sometimes the shop can get backed up by a flurry of orders all at once and then it's a rush to get them cooked and out on time with the intended top quality As they can being going in all kinds of directions. And outs a couple deliveries on hold due to this fact! However; always bare patience in mind, and empathise with the other customers who may also be waiting. Kassini is now almost back to full staff capacity and the staff are great! The food is lovely and the portion sizes are still great! Just be patient with this place there is still more improvements to come and the possibility of a brand new menu, meal deals, munch boxes and more! They are committed to their customer base. Ordered food from here via foodhub paid by card only for their delivery driver to deliver food to wrong address and they accepted our food, when I called and asked for a refund the owner shouts abuse in the background, saying it's my fault and they wouldnt refund me. So i basically paid for someone elses food.

I ordered a meal deal from here a few week ago and once I received my order my pizza it had looked like it had been dropped and placed back in the box, the cheese was practically coming off the pizza and I didn’t attempt to ring back because my husband was already furious that the driver had hinted for a tip when delivered our food and the chips tasted like they had been cooked more than once and the donner meat was cold and bitter. I guarantee I will not be placing a order here again and feel sorry the people who have yet to see these shocking but true reviews!!! Needs fkn shut down

We ordered at 18:40 and with 1 hour delivery but the food didn’t arrive until 20:30. The food was OK but nothing special and only just warm. This was the first time ordering here and we won’t be doing it again.

Love the food from Kassini Have ordered from here every Friday for over a year now But tonight I placed an order and 25 minutes later I heard the driver arrive so I looked out my window to see him getting out of the car smoking so I contacted them and the girl I spoke to couldn’t say sorry enough but when it can to the owner he didn’t care at all Just sent the same driver back with a refund and took the food backDriver even gave me tip back But my tip to Kassini is that it’s illegal for delivery drivers to smoke in there vehicles while delivering food and won’t be ordering from you again

We use this place quite often with Just Eat. The majority of the time the food is fantastic! Pizzas are second to none.

Ordered via just eat. Pizza had a very scarce topping. More like a margarita. Chips looked like they’d been cooked more than once. Garlic dips didn’t arrive which were part of the meal deal. When phoned and asked they said it was because we ticked the “no sauce” box, that we thought was for ON the doner meat. It plainly states 2 tubs of garlic mayo with the meal deal. The driver then turned up with 1 garlic mayo. Safe to say we won’t be trying again. Customer service is everything. Probably wouldn’t of moaned about the food had the staff been more polite and helpful.

My boyfriend and I ordered two chicken wraps that arrived cold and smelled a bit eggy.. today was his grandads funeral and we’ve both had to leave early due to stomach cramps and flu like symptoms. We are now unable to keep water down for being sick and both bed bound. This is the only thing we’ve eaten the same over the past two days and the food was blatantly sat for a long time as it arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, cold.

Everytime we order there's allways items missing what we ordered and allways send the wrong pizza that we didnt order. So we end up having to wait another 30mins for correct order to arrive. Joke!! Chance after chance given to them to sort them selves out so thats it now ill not be returning lost mine and my familys custom

I order from here on a regular basis but the past twice there have been several items from my order missing. I rang up and they sent the missing items out but this was around half hour after our original order just not good enough! It's a shame as I now won't be ordering from kassini in the future due to this reason!

The garlic bread and cheese was nice,nothing special. Doner meat was greasy like a lot of places and the chicken wrap was average if anything too much wrap. Generally is was neither spectacular or too disappointing. There are better takeaways around.

Shocked that the delivery driver had used his keys to knock on our living room window instead of knocking on a door like a civilized human. Food was barely warm. No salad on wrap after paying for it. Won't recommend. Won't be going back.

Great on everything,but think 2.50 delivery in newlands gardens for a takeaway in towncentre is steep considering delivery charge on website stating 1.50 .but food and sevice was superb

Ordered a LARGE donor wrap and when it arrived it was one wrap wrapped in a bag. I used to order from this takeaway once everyweek and I'm totally disappointed in the size of how the wraps have shrunk. You want to be disappointed in your service. I won't be ruturning so be warned your service had not just disappointed one customer but several at my house

I've eaten here loads of times now and it is a firm favourite with all our family. The chicken wraps are well loaded with meat and the pizzas are also very good. Delivery is very efficient and I always find the staff friendly.

Ordered meal deal 4. Great delivery time and food presented by a good smile and manners. Food wise... Garlic bread was spot on, dona meat is cooked right, and the Pizza was cooked just how i like it. Not dripping with grease like other places. Fries could be a little better though. And i even got a bottle of pop. :) Overall 9/10. Will be back again and recommend this take away. A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN OTHER PLACES I HAVE BEEN TO.

Worst service ever received! They delivered the completely wrong order and when I phoned them to explain I was asked to wait 15 minutes until the other wrong order was discovered! I'm not bothered about the status of anyone else's takeaway! After another 30 minutes of waiting finally arrived, with no apology. As a frequent customer extremely disappointed. Won't be using again.

Been very generous with my marking on takeaway service, only because this is the first time i have had an issue. That issue being, i ordered a doner wrap with salad, garlic sauce and jalapeno peppers. It came plain. I rang the takeaway up and they apologised and sent me a new one out. I thought it would of been with me within 10-15 minutes, 50 more minutes later i got my correct wrap.

Only thing not perfect was the chips were cold and the bottom of the bun off the burger was soggy.
