La ubicación fue genial para encontrarme con mis padres en el tren en Kings Cross y comenzar un día en Londres. Todo el menú del brunch se veía genial, pero todos optamos por varios sándwiches de desayuno. Aparentemente, el BLT era bueno, aparte del tomate frío en un sándwich caliente, pero el resto de nosotros pensamos que el Bobby (empanada de salchicha, huevo, queso y mayonesa de chile dulce) era increíble. Definitivamente recomendaría una visita para el brunch.

¡Precioso ritmo de verano! Este lugar es una verdadera revelación. Me hizo retroceder 30 años en un destello de recuerdos felices. Buena comida, buen humor. Me gustó mucho. Llegué en el Eurostar desde Amsterdam por un fin de semana y estaba al otro lado. ¡Volveremos y la próxima vez queramos bailar!

A fun place that we never knew existed. Upbeat music and bright colours. Good pasta. Staff could be more engaging but maybe they’re still learning the ropes.

A ray of sunshine after a bleak stretch of morosity...we loved the mood. Great coffee. Will come back.

Tasty and groovy! Bright and yellow like a sunny day. It’s well priced, short menu but well made. Simple things made well. 

This place brought back a lot of memories from the heady days of house music. Good old skool tunes from Manchester to Chicago. 

Nice service, very good location just in front of Kings Cross. Good food. Very good bread basket. Does what it needs in my opinion.

We arrived on a quiet Sunday evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the service first class. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant where service is excellent and the food sumptuous! Plus they serve a fabulous Negroni. We’ll be back.

I had made a booking at the Megaro bar for a friends 40th birthday. The booking was made for 14 people over a month in advance and in the weeks leading to the event had numerous email communications with the team. Two days before the booking, I receive an automated email cancelling my booking with no notice. Having contacted the team I had been previously in touch with I was told very casually that they had cancelled my group booking because they had since taken a private booking for the whole area.To say I was disappointed was an understatement, two days before my friends birthday I had to organise a different venue for 14 friends. The cancellation itself you could almost understand (not agree with but...) but it was the total lack of customer service I received from the team at Megaro . They didn’t even have the decency to contact me to discuss the cancellation, just an automated email was sent to me.When I then asked for the contact details of someone I could escalate my complaint to, guess what....? Complete silence! Not a word from anyone, not even a sincere apology.... avoid this place! Not a chance me or any of my friends will be spending our money or time there!

Good things; the service, much more sophisticated than it’s neighbours. Bad things; Expensive, small portions of mediocre food. Painfully hip - but maybe you like that.

The Megaro is located just in front of St Pancras International railway station.We had breakfast there and appreciated the eggs and the tea. Little bit expensive, but we are in London.

Absence of smiles and a welcome, service was ok to poor and the food although looking great failed to deliver on the taste ...

Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner "typique" mais revisité dans ce restaurant. La salle est très agréable et le personnel souriant et disponible. Le service était rapide et la qualité au rendez vous. Les portions sont copieuses. Je recommande +++

All the dishes are pretty common but cooked in an innovative way. The beef tartare was so fresh and the sauce made it even better. The salad was served with 2 layers of sauces that you can taste it in 3 different ways. The Fiorentina steak was a bit big for us, but the meat itself was so good that we had to finish it. If you still have a little space in your stomach, a piece of cheese cake can draw a perfect conclusion for the night.Apart from the food, the waiters were very helpful. You can tell that they are proud of the restaurant's food and can provide you suitable suggestions.

Wir haben hier gefrühstückt und es hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Auswahl ist ordentlich, jedoch auch etwas hochpreisig. Essen kam nach der Bestellung zügig, wobei der Service während der Peakzeit etwas zu kämpfen hatte. Das Restaurant war trotz der Lage (direkt gegen über des Bahnhofs) sehr gepflegt.

Una hora esperando para el desayuno, comida muy regular. Alimentos que dicen ser naturales y no lo son. Servicio y cocina muy lentos, nada de lo que parece.

We visited twice once for drinks and once for breakfast.

I stopped in at the Megaro for breakfast, and it may be that I made the wrong choice by ordering the English breakfast. It was, and this is putting it mildly, inedible. The first issue is that everything tasted and smelled as though it had been cooked on a surface that desperately needs to be cleaned or with oil that needs to be changed. This gave everything a slightly odd taste. The scrambled eggs tasted as if they came from a mix (not fresh eggs), and the toast was dry and slightly stale.

Innovative and delicious cuisine. Good selection of wines by the glass. Must come back for cocktails

everything is absolutely delicious; very convenient to hotels and subway nearby. I liked it so much I returned about 4 times!

This restaurant has amazing Food with a Italian touch. The meat was so tender, it almost melted on my tongue. Much better Italian alternative for the standard pizza and pasta. Really nice staff!

Visité este restaurante para el brunch en marzo de 2018 y realmente lo disfruté, así que cuando un amigo estaba visitando el área de Kings Cross, no tuve dudas en reservar una vez más.

En sortant de la gare, nous essayons ce restaurant qui est une belle découverte.

La cena fue excelente. Sabroso puré de albaricoque con masquapone y tostadas. Buen plato de pasta de berenjena también. El personal fue muy amable en la noche.

La porción de la cena es pequeña y cara para lo que obtienes en el plato. 12) Se incluye un cargo por servicio del 5%. Tuve 2 platos, vino y café y me fui como si hubiera comido una cena ligera.

We stopped in here for dinner. The food is fantastic. Many of the plates are small, so if you’re after a meal you might want to ask about how much food you’ll be getting. But the food you’ll be getting will be fantastic.

This restaurant looks amazing. The decoration, the plants, the tables.... menu is nice and really coherent with the concept of the place.

I came for brunch and food was very good. The staff is nice, and the place is really beautiful (lots of plants). I recommand the "Healthy ish" for brunch!

Love this spot. Always friendly service, good coffee and tea. Went in for a cup of tea in the morning with my colleagues and ended up staying for lunch, Ordered the Megaro salad and charred squid.. delish! highly recommended.

we came here for dinner, it was good portion wise but the service was very slow and it wasnt the best food ive ever tasted. i would say this is more of a place for drinks, although it wasnt the most buzzing when i came on a sunday i think. maybe next time :)

That was the most remarkable steak I have eaten for a very long time.

I used to like this place as it a very chill place with a nice atmosphere. Nothing exiting about the food but it makes the job and i m always happy to go for a brunch as the location is very good for me. I went there recently, the service was very poor. We had to wait 30 minutes just to order. They came to apologise. After they cleared our table without asking how it was no one came back to offer a coffee or deserts. With my friend we wanted to see how long it will take before someone asks us. So we waited for 1h15 and guess what no one came. So we decided to pay the bill and never come back

Cercavamo un luogo dove fare una colazione a base di pancake e non potevamo fare scelta migliore.. veramente buoni

We stayed nearby so decided not to head into town but stay close for the evening lunch. We stepped into a cosy restaurant and were greeted and seated wherever we wanted.

Entao comecamos por dizer Come se bem Com tempero e barato pa , mesmo ali em kings cross , depois bebe se bem , O pessoal sao uns porreiros .. mas uns porreiracos mesmo , e depois no topo do bolo Simples funky e de bom tempero.

Very good breakfast with plenty of choice for everyone. Not cheap but quality. Very friendly staff. I had a French breakfast. No idea why it's called that. Tasty though.

With modern decor this eatery has a relaxed, informal feel and contemporary menu. Staff are attentive and friendly. We only wanted light lunch so chose starters but we were told the portions might be small so we added sides. Glad as the chips were really delicious although the tasty Scotch egg was a good size meal for ‘light’ lunch. Location just opposite Kings Cross St Pancras, it was convenient for a meal on arrival in London.

Went for a family meal here (all grown ups) and whilst the food was pretty good and the service attentive I have to admit it felt a little pricey at over £200 for 5 people (one bottle of house white and 6 or 7 other drinks). I would very happily return here if it was slightly better value but I thought charging £14 for the aubergine parmigiana was a bit steep given I’ve had larger starter portions for half the price. Having said that it was nice.

Consigliato per un ottimo brunch. Veramente buonissimo e anche il locale è bello e un po underground. Da ritornarci

This was my first visit to The Megaro Eatery. We shared a plate of charred squid and for the main I had the lamb rump and my friend had the chicken glazed with honey. It was very tasty. The lamb was cooked to perfection. We finished the meal off by sharing the buttermilk pannacotta and apricot tart. Again, very tasty. The staff was very friendly and even though the place was quite busy our waiter was very attentive and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend that place and will be back soon again.

Queríamos una reunión social para compañeros de trabajo y, después de haber visto varios lugares en el área de Kings Cross, volvimos a The Megaro.

Restaurante / Bar muy funky. Buena comida, la hamburguesa es muy generosa y la ensalada era increíble, los lados tienen un precio muy razonable y las batatas fritas son divinas.

Lovely natural decor and open view of your food being cooked. Italian flavour to the dishes, delicious!

El menú se veía fantástico en línea y el lugar parecía bastante peculiar. En realidad, las mesas estaban abarrotadas y había un borrador que atravesaba la sala. Cuando entramos por primera vez, el camarero fue amable y nos recibió, pero nuestra camarera fue muy grosera y no sonrió una vez mientras tomábamos nuestro pedido. Pedimos el aguacate y el huevo escalfado en una tostada que salió un poco caliente y faltaba nuestra orden de lado. Luego tardamos 15 minutos en recibir la factura y otros 15 minutos para pagar realmente. A mitad de nuestra comida, un dj comenzó a tocar música demasiado fuerte, lo que dificultó incluso hablar.

I came here with a friend on a weekday, it was not busy yet took the staff an extremely long time to take our order. The food was equally slow, and again it took us ages to catch someone’s attention and ask for the bill, which was complicated as one waiter came over with the card machine whilst our original waiter had not even given us the bill yet, and there was trouble with splitting the bill. Very disappointed considering the food was really good.

Menu is great, lots of options for vegetarians and it’s quite different to the usual brunch spots.

The food and the service were good. The place is slightly too expensive though. Overall nice location for food if you are around but there are much cheaper options around.

Abbiamo fatto colazione per ben quattro giorni di fila in questo bar-ristorante dato che era a due passi dal l’albergo. Menu vario con ottime proposte, dai pancakes con frutta fresca, ai croissant, ai French toast dolci e salati e tanto altro. Personale molto carino e disponibile... lo consiglio vivamente! Unica pecca la mancanza della spremuta fresca di arancia.

A great little gem of a restaurant. The quality of the steaks and wines was a very pleasant surprise. The staff are wonderful! Even, repairing my wheelchair for me. I cannot recommend The Megaro enough.

Try this blend of eco-funky decor, great service, well thought out menu, with seasonal variation, reasonably priced. All a stones throw away from the best connected transport hub in Europe. (B word forbidden )

The Anonymous Chimp has travelled to the UK and the first stop is London. After only eating plane food for 24 hours, the Anonymous Chimp was very hanky (hungry & cranky).

One of the few restaurants in the area that could accommodate a party of 10. Italianate menu, short, with several charred (grilled) dishes. Friendly service. We were seated upstairs, no particular ambiance.

We noticed the quite striking (Toys-R-Us style) paint job outside and went to find out what it was. We found it was a rather nice looking restaurant with an extensive and tempting brunch menu. So we headed in. The food is superb. The service was a little slow but this isn't somewhere you will want to rush out of. So just give yourself plenty of time and enjoy!

This experience was a master class in how so many service fails can add up to a pretty catastrophic experience.

After a great weekend breakfast experience a year ago while staying at the Megaro hotel, I was looking forward to going back again. Unfortunately, it was a real let-down. The place has gone from outstanding to average. The service is still friendly and efficient, and the prices are not too bad (given this is opposite two main line stations, not bad at all) - but the food...

Popped in for a £21.50 3 course menu with fizz with my husband after work and were surprised at how amazing this place was. What a find!

Undercooked pasta, unfriendly staff we sent back our dish and were asked to pay for the return dish. I hope in the future you will be able to improve the quality of your service.

Excellent flat white and great prices for the quality. You can get into St Pancras Station right outside the front door.

Let the manager make a recommendation and take it. We did and had a great experience. Good value, too.

I booked a last minute all day meeting room at the Megaro and had low expectations but the meeting overran by 5 hours and they let us stay in the dining area, we then decided to stay and have supper as it was raining. Lucky we did as out of a very unpreposessing kitchen came the most delicious rump steak and fillet of salmon. Both looked lovely on the plate- elegant but not overdecorated and both tasted better than expected. Turned out to be a lucky find and I would not hesitate to use Megaro for meetings, work lunches and would even chose it for dinner before getting the Eurostar.

Had a lovely lunch here today, the food was delicious (grilled corn fed chicken with honey glaze and triple cooked chips) and the staff were lovely. Very clean toilets too. Would happily recommend this restaurant.

We had a nice beer and friendly chat with Kat and David in the lovely decorated lounge, before heading off to the station to catch our night train to Scotland.

Have been here twice recently around 1700hrs while waiting for a train from Kings Cross.It is the perfect quiet location away from the crowded Restaurants and bustle within the station.Staff were helpful and welcoming with drinks served within a few minutes.Food was very good and well presented particularly the grilled plaice.Burger was equally good but fries were a little soggy.Good selection of reasonably priced drniks including wine by the glass and draught lager.

We stopped by for the first time to try the full monty breakfast amongst other things. We were rushing to catch time, so thought — bring in the centre of kings cross their brunch breakfast menu would be quick and yummy. We arrived at 10am. Half the party ordered and received their breakfast. Th other half were still waiting 45 mins later. After informing two separate waitresses we still hadn’t received the breakfast. Once we received the bill — after 50 mins, Without half the breakfasts being served couldn’t believe it I had to tell the staff we were leaving. Person in charge was very apologetic and offered free croissants to go, even gave 50% discount on food consumed, which I appreciated very much. Because of him, I’ve given them 2 stars. I understand people make mistakes, but the fact there was a full waitstaff on duty I counted (6 wait staff) and 2 behinf the breakfast bar so 8 total, our waitresses could have been more attentive - notice that we hadn’t received food and possibly try harder to get the food. Each time we asked it was as if we were being a nuisance which didn’t help or give the impression we were welcome.

Restaurant cher et bas de gamme. La viande était bonne, le burger a rendu malade l’un d’entre nous et les autres plats sont sans saveurs, sans assaisonnement particulièrement le plat vegan vraiment mauvais et pas complet pour 16£ quand même ! Sans parler des frites à 4£ pour une soucoupe de 10 frites environ. Allez ailleurs.

Très cher et cuisine décevante. Prix exorbitants 4£ pour des frites soit disant croustillantes.... le serveur qui arrive de la rue prendre son service sans lavage de main.

I really wish we'd gone somewhere else for my sister's birthday. The atmosphere in this place is cold, stark and prison-like. The staff don't have a clue what they're doing, they don't know the menu, they don't know their own drinks list, and don't realise that they can go downstairs. My sister wanted a mojito. The upstairs bar doesn't have the ingredients for that (they also didn't have Southern Comfort which was her second choice of drink) and we had a tortuous 'conversation' with about three waiting staff when someone said we could only get that at the downstairs bar. So... can you just go and get it from the downstairs bar and bring it upstairs? It seemed this simple task was not in the consciousness of anyone except us. Odd.

I tried this place to taste something Italian in London. It didn't go well, my son ordered a dish of pasta: paccheri with a sauce that was closer to a soup than a pasta sauce. My mixed salad was poor and tasteless. I don't know if all this is a consequence of local taste or bad quality. Anyway the experience was not remarkable

Comimos allí mientras se alojan cerca, y disfrutamos muchísimo.

Un amigo y yo todos nos un bistec, la mía estaba bien, pero era llena de cartílago. Hay cuchillos de carne no eran lo suficientemente afilados para cortar. "Triple corte patatas fritas" eran patatas fritas normales y nos cobraron dos veces para "Infinitas agua". Llegó a más de 90 euros por dos filetes, un postre por debajo de la media y una cerveza cada uno. No lo recomendaría.

In this bustling spot the Megaro is just what we needed. Close to underground and quiet. The food was of excellent quality. The burger was one of the most delectable tastes I have ever encountered in a burger!

An interesting place - pub food as part of the Megaro hotel. We got there just after 3pm on a Sunday, when we could no longer order food from the josper grill and we had to settle for the all-day classic Italian breakfast of parma ham, burrata, cannellini bean stew, focaccia, and poached egg. Other diners had just finished nice cuts of prime rib, and a side of broccoli and the crushed avocado on sour dough, with with poached eggs and bacon. The place was unusually quiet, the service was a bit slow, but friendly when we got it. It was a bit on the pricey side, but this is upmarket pub food - a service charge of 12.5% was automatically added onto the bill. It was a good experience but breakfast after 3pm not optimal.

Fantastic food you can watch being cooked. The breakfast was amazing. The evening meal was delicious

Fake italian dishes, totally not tasty, SO overpriced! Lasagne with rabbit is a few sheets of dough randomly mixed with pieces of pulled pork. These guys have no idea of cooking let alone cooking Italian. Never again. This place is s shame.

Friendly place across from St Pancras station. Had breakfast here couple of days ago and dinner today. Asparagus risotto quite good and chocolate ganache dessert just right. Good find.

Had the burrata, a nice cut of prime rib, and a side of broccolini. Food was masterfully prepared, and the wine well paired. Worth the visit.

Close to St Pancras, Kings Cross and not too far from Euston. Pleasant decor, excellent food and affordable. No music, variety of seating options. Wine by glass from Lstg 6.50, excellent asparagus risotto Lstg 8 and sides of excellent vegs Lstg 3.50. Other mains a bit more expensive but still not over the odds.Good service. Didn't check loos. Annoyingly the service charge of 12.5% is assumed and added onto bill automatically.

Parfait pour le petit déjeuner à 2 pas de king’s cross!!! Nous avons pris tous nos petits dej là bas et les pancakes sont excellents ( Nutella, sirop d’érable, myrtilles et caramel beurre salé). Les jus et smoothies maison sont aussi excellents. Nous y avons même mangé un soir : attention au beef tartare qui est en fait de la mozzarella de buffala !( très bon quand même)

Stopped here on our first day in London for breakfast at 7am(jetlagged). Throughly enjoyed the complete italomanic and the complete Frenchie breakfasts with coffees. Came to a reasonable price and the food was delicious. Free WiFi perfect for travelers

Pleasant decor and friendly staff but the portions were insufficient. Eggs on toast came with just one small slice of bread, which was soggy due to the poor bread to egg ratio. Bread isn’t even that expensive so seemed unnecessarily mean and we wouldn’t return

Sind ganze 20 Minuten im Lokal gesessen und wurden nicht bedient. Die Kellnerinnen sind mindestens 15 mal an uns vorbeigegangen und haben uns keines Blickes gewürdigt. Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, sind ja immerhin nicht bedient worden. Unser Gehen wurde auch ignoriert.

We had the black pudding scotch egg followed by the Josper chicken. Portions were very generous and the food was very good. As the Prosecco had run out we got a glass of champagne. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good deal.

Call me confused, but I booked one place and found it called something else, only to be then told that it was going to reopen in yet another guise. The menu also bore little resemblance to that on the website and I struggled to get...

Quirky restaurant called Migaro directly opposite Saint Pancras station (tube entrance). Very friendly and efficient staff and delicious food and menu. Highly recommend.

Location is good as our party of four came from three different directions for Mothers day. No rush and comfortable easy service. Good selection of food on the Brunch menu and all four of us enjoyed our meals of Full English, Chicken & Chips and Steak. We also had puddings to finish and a coffee. Drinks were reasonable prices as well. All in all a good price and great food.

We were very satisfied with this restaurant. The food was excellent, with some vegetarian options. The pumpkin ravioli with chestnuts on a mushroom bed were delicious, as well as the goose breast. The Italian waiter was adorable. As French customers, we did not expect to eat this well in London.

Delicious breakfast! I've eaten here 3 times, always taken the yogurt ('cause waw) and always a different main, and really, they were all good!

Eggs Benedict Royale, as just as good as they appear on the photographs. Perfect soft large and yellow yolks on excellent smoke salmon with great mayonnaise. Fresh orange juice and strong black coffee. Perfect to start to a Sunday at 9am before catching the train home to Yorkshire. Would certainly return when next in the area.
