This is like dying and going to cheese heaven because the blends are just perfect, just perfectly grilled and the right amount of butter to put you to sleep and go to cheese land😋

We stopped by and tried the raclette on potatoes. It was the perfect balance of flavors with the added gherkins. We didn't get the toasty but they looked delicious coming out. This is worth finding and giving them a try, you won't be disappointed!

This grilled cheese is so hyped on social media, I had high expectations; turns out it’s rather ordinary - still tasty but it didn’t do it for me!

The raclette is divine, plus a much shorter queue! Potato, pickles and gorgeous melted and grilled cheese

The menu comprises cheese toasties or raclette (with potatoes) and there is a separate queue for each. At around 12:15pm on a Thursday there was a short queue of people waiting for toasties (10-15 min waiting time), and no one in the raclette queue. The toastie was nice and crispy, and oozing with a generous amount of cheese. It was quite messy to eat! While it was enjoyable overall I couldn’t see what the fuss was about. It’s a plain cheese toastie at the end of the day, in fairness better than what I could make at home or buy from Pret, but not by much! It would have been nice if there was some customisation on offer, for example I think fresh chillies would have been a great addition. While it’s definitely overhyped, I could see myself returning if in the mood for a toastie, but only if the queue was sensible…

So I will admit I totally bought into the hype of this place. I'd seen all the videos on social media and couldn't wait to go visit. Unfortunately it really didn't live up to expectations. The toasties are nice but nothing special, I honestly think most people could rustle up something similar at home and save themselves £8! The owner is really rude; I noticed him chatting to people ahead of me in the queue and seemed really engaging. When I got to the counter I didn't get the same greeting for some reason! Not sure what it was about me the guy didn't like but he was so abrupt then talked over me to the person behind me as he thought he'd one of them was speaking French (turns out they were actually German). Instead of finishing serving me then talking to them he actually asked me to move to the side so he could chat to them easier. When I say asked me to move to the side it was more of a dismissive hand-gesture as he talked round me. The guy was so rude and arrogant. Thankfully he seemed to have nicer staff who noticed his behaviour and offered to take over serving me. Overall I'd say the experience was a total disappointment, we'd waited a year to visit and were really looking forward to sampling the food but my advice to anyone thinking of visiting would be to walk past this place and check out the other amazing looking eateries Borough Market has to offer- I wish we had!

I have been told by my partner that no trip to London will be complete without a visit to this place, to get the potatoes with raclette.

很特別的吐司，但味道偏濃偏鹹，且吐司的份量適合二人吃，一人吃會覺得份量過多且味道太重想喝飲料；所以反而會讓你少吃了其他的市場美食。 現在的市場已經不像13世紀的單純批發生鮮食材，而是走精緻職人精神的零售攤販，需使用季節性的食材、高品質食物原料、價位符合市場供需。 市場的營業時間每天都不大一樣，早上10:00-14:00這段時間是每天都有營業的，怕記錯時間，就抓個吃早午餐的節奏去就不用怕撲空。

This was the best place in all of borough market for me. The raclette was amazing and the cheese sandwich was out of this world. as soon as you come to Borough market, check out this place because it was amazing

So, you’re at Borough Market overwhelmed with the abundance of delicious, quality produce tempting you at every turn. And then, you see it - the queue for a cheese toastie. And not just any toastie! A mix of cheddars, onions and leeks. Perfectly melted between slices of Poilane bread. Simple, delicious, filling. I wish I had two stomachs…

What a fantastic cheese toastie! £8 for the small size is quite a lot but the taste is just amazing and breathtaking. I never had such a good cheese toast in my life. The was a queue of cause and the stand isn’t open every day but it’s still worth waiting! 🧀🥪

I love grilled cheese sandwiches and make it a point to stop here whenever I'm in London. I always think I'll try their raclette but as soon as I get there my mind immediately goes to the most perfectly grilled cheese ever crafted.

Despite long queue, the queue moves quite quickly. Limited operating hours, be sure to do some homework before visiting. The sourdough bread is crispy and cheese is perfect! (I've gotten toasted cheese sandwich) Sexy toasted bread on point! Strongly recommended. You can go to Borough Market just right beside for more foods later.

Wow. We were on a quest to try their Rachlette. Deliciously served on smashed red potatoes. No line for the Rachlette, because everyone else was getting a toastie, a grilled cheese sandwich made with a generous heap of grated cheese. The Rachlette was one of the trip food highlights, but we are coming back for the toastie.

チーズトーストを頂きました。 めちゃめちゃ美味しいです。3日連続でバラマーケット行きましたがこれが一番美味しかったかもしれません。 カード払いがなぜか上手くいかずちょっと焦りましたが店員さんが優しく対応てくれてなんとかなりました。8£で安くはないですが他のお店と比べるとリーズナブルかなと思います。

Crispy grilled cheese on the outside and melted on the inside with a bit of chopped onion. Delicious. I wondered whether it would be worth it for £8, for what is at the end of the day a cheese toastie, but considering what you get in a standard cafe for not much less, on balance it is reasonable value. Would not be able to make a cheese toastie as tasty as this at home, which for me makes it worth it!!

Visited after a few months away and what’s happened? The sandwich seems a lot thinner. Less cheese? Also it wasn’t even all that hot this time. Finished it and was still hungry. Disappointed.

Was a good toasty, but for me it didn't live up to the hype. It was also quite pricey at £8.00. We got there early so didn't have to queue, but I've heard it gets super busy.

I wanted to love this toastie...the smell and sight of it being made with all the cheesy goodness oozing out of the crusty sour dough bread....but it was so darn SALTY that I couldn't stomach it !! They should have a gallon of water on hand to drown out all the SALT ! So disappointed ~!

Great cheese toasties, but be prepared to queue especially during lunchtime. They use great sourdough bread and cheese, so you know it's good. It's not open everyday - only Thurs to Sunday so do take note of the day to avoid disappointment!

I came here after watching somebody feed phil; having eaten their toastie, i deff came super satisfied. The cheese…wowwwww!! Salty and crispy at the same time, also, i like having leeks and onions in this toastie too!!! In short, i would say that this is the best and most fulfilling toast i have ever eaten. Hence, if u want to safe some spaces to try other food in borough market, i may suggest sharing this toastie with ur friend(s). Chef kiss! Ps. Come early and expect a bit of waiting time in queue.

It’s always getting rave reviews whenever I introduce this shop to someone new to London! It’s a London classic, made by a shop that does it extremely well! What are you waiting for?

Delicious cheese toastie, asks grilled cheese. But this is pricey for the high quality cheese, well worth it and the wait in line.

Somewhat limited opening hours but absolutely worth making a special journey. The best grilled cheese I’ve tried this side of the Atlantic and normally a queue to fairly match it. I dunno why but getting one of these on a Saturday morning while walking along the river (to burn off the calories) gives you an inner glow and wellbeing that can’t be matched. 🥰

Outstanding! We saw this place on Somebody Feed Phil - London episode. Hands down the best toastie I've ever had!!! If you ever find yourself near the Borough Market, come get one of these!!! SO FREAKIN GOOD! I wanted another as soon as I finished. Fat n Happy!

The woman on the raclete queue is extremely slow and dumb. She stops wherever a person on the toastie queue asks for a raclete and then she stands doing nothing waiting for the person to gets the toastie and comes to get a raclete while during the same time she could be taking anothers people order from the raclete line

Really delicious grilled cheese. Tasted fresh and you can have a refreshing experience how they make your grilled cheese. The downside however is the price. 7 pounds for a small grilled cheese is a rip off and therefore wouldn’t return. The grilled cheese is delicious but if you pay that price, you have too high expectations looking at what you get.

Ordered a cheese toast, it was not bad, just that you have to eat it with some drink, else that amount of cheese is too salty and will cause you to become thirsty real quick.

Best in Borough Market if you love cheese. It is all about cheese. The menu is restricted to two dishes: cheese sandwich and raclette. Both are incredible!
