Watery lamb curry, no taste and delayed delivery. Won’t bother to order from here again.

I spoke to the manager and he was very disrespectful i spoke to him about the missing item in my order and he refused to help and kept saying deal with just eating even though I am regular customer

Food is delicious everytime however, there are quite a lot of black burnt pieces and should have the grill properly scraped before meat goes on the grill. Otherwise wonderful as always.

Salad was old n smelly Rice was good and karahi was okish

Part of the order was wrong but the main complaint is there was hardly any meat. It’s a big bone and small amount of meat. Not good

I was unwell so decided to order as I couldn't go out. Food was very nice, but delivery took two and a half hours.

I never have a bad meal from here. They did forget the scoop of ice cream with my cake today, but they gave me a little salad instead which I can eat tomorrow with lunch 🤣 always delicious.

Either I was too hungry or the food was real good. Enjoyed it

Food arrived earlier than predicted on app- which was okay but meant I had to leave it in the oven to keep warm. Food was okay, not worth the amount I paid though.

We ordered chicken biryani and chicken/lamb chapli kebabs with naan. Arrived piping hot. Tasted absolutely delicious! Very generous portions too. Would definitely recommend.

Not what I ordered was masala lamb bones with few meat bits - too much oil and grease - was meant to be half kilo lamb karahi but was like a red onion since and mainly bones why charging for 1/2 kg lamb and not sending the meat also the naan was soggy where the bag had become wet from grease leaking from curry. Order arrived on time - had to order as in past this restaurant was favourite and my kitchen not working so needed out meal from somewhere after fasting

Food was good and driver brought it piping hot. Taste wise I wanted the charsi karahi and it was not exactly that. Never the less good food.

Although the food was late it was worth it, really tasty full of flavour

They forgot my order when I called them then they send my food 50 minutes late

Very bad food, curry was few pieces of chicken swimming in too much sauce, everything tasted weird, it was clearly not fresh. Salmon was way too overpriced for only 2 small pieces. Won't be ordering again.

Nice food great option which save u going to hounslow or southall for traditional afghani food. And price was decent as well. I would definitely recommend it. And last but not least the delivery driver was suberb a great advert on how to communicate and deliver food. 👍👍👍👍

Restaurant gave extremely small portions of Sauces. I even rang them and requested about the sauces. I spent £28 but they still sent the tiniest amount of sauces.. Pleaae be a bit generous

Saw this restaurant by chance in the High Street and it looked nice from the outside so decided to order a delivery for the evening . Really nice that our order was delivered at the earliest estimated time on a Saturday. The food was delicious and the delivery guy took the time to say hi to all of us since we all rushed to the door due to hunger. Thank you, the food and delivery service was really appreciated.

My instructions where not followed with the delivery timings. Food was delivered an hour earlier then requested. No condiments were provided and the salad was not fresh and had starting to turn yellow. I’m a regular customer who finds Kabul palace consistent with its food quality and service. I find the food absolutely delicious However, I was very disappointed this time round.

Grill with naan has to be stopped and prices updated accordingly. 4 prawns for £15 is not acceptable. Biryani unfortunately was not fresh. Sea bass was hard with bones and cooked from frozen as the fish was hard. Chaplain kebab and grills always good and fresh.

Ordered the Chapli kebab with Naan, ended up with food poisoning that night and for a further 2 days!!!

Ordered 6 soups. All soups taste amazing. The delivery though spoiled the whole experience. Ordered 5:58pm, expected delivery was 18:45pm arrived at 19:45pm. Had to wait 1:45 mins for delivery. And when it arrived 1 soup was spilled in the bag.

Sent me substitute ice cream with nuts instead of calling me to ask. I am allergic to nuts, I called back was told they can't do anything because they are busy and next time I can have something for free. Didn't take note of the fact I told them I am allergic to nuts

After placing an order it said delivery time would be an hour (which is a lot anyway) then it was a further 20mins late. Food was cold so was very disappointed as we paid a lot of money for such a small portion!! Didn’t really enjoy eating cold food (kebabs became hard). Very disappointed.

The best takeaway I have had in a long time without a doubt!.Hummus and bread seriously good and the bread was freshly made, Yum! Chicken Karahi was amazing!!! Very spicy but I couldn’t stop eating it!

I visited Kabul palace restaurant With my friends, we were welcomed by a polite member of staff and were seated. The food came quite quickly and was of great portion sizes, defo a good value for money and the grill and chapli kebab was out of this world. Would definitely recommend. The staff were so friendly and outgoing, we felt very welcomed and would give 5* for service. They were very busy at the time but still ensured that we received the best service and the most delicious food. Would definitely visit Again and again!

Good food, polite service, portions too small. Atmosphere slightly dull/dark interior. Meat was tasty, red meat a little on the salty side, chicken very tender. Qabuli pilau brilliant - came hot , well presented and meat was very tender. No hard rice which is always a pleasant surprise in restaurants Curries flavoursome however portion sizes again very small and disappointing.

The portion was awesome! I was surprised by the prices but when I get food and portion make me happy!! Professional driver and so helpful!!! Best of luck

Our family are regulars at this place, as the only Afghan restaurant in the area, and always book for big events use and regular family dinners. The food has always been good but the service used to be rather slow and inattentive (we'd never get asked about drinks, or if we needed anything else etc).Come eat-out-to-help-out and chaos has ensued. There is no such thing as social distancing inside or outside the restaurant, and in true Slough fashion I was sworn at for asking someone in the queue to step back a few paces to maintain a distance (not the restaurant's fault but it set the tone for the evening). During EOTHO they aren't taking reservations like other restaurants so we had to queue in the cold for 1.5 hours. When we were seated, I wrote the entire group of 6's orders down on a phone note so I could read it out to the waitress to avoid confusion. They didn't have a few of the dishes so I had to change a couple of things but changed the note accordingly so I had a record of what to expect. She didn't double check the order or ask about drinks but I had been very clear so I didn't think anyone could mess it up.I was wrong. 2 of our family were left without food well after everyone had received theirs and a random extra item turned up. '?Zahra' the waitress was very blunt and unapologetic when she realised she had input the order incorrectly on their system and told us we'd have to wait at least another 20 minutes to somewhat rectify the situation (it was 11pm by this point and we'd been queuing since 9pm). I went up to the desk to check with the pleasant lady that had given us our table, as she was in charge. At this point ?Zahra approached and became very verbally aggressive and defensive, and actually changed her tune and insisted I'd told her the order wrong, having admitted her mistake a few minutes before. I was appalled at the way she spoke to me and denied that I'd literally read the order out to her and had a copy. Everything was sorted by the other lady in the end and food was fine but our extended family of 20 regular customers won't ever be returning if they think they can treat people like that. Summary- never encountered such a rude waitress. I understand they are busy and it was the end of the day but that's never an excuse to speak to a customer in such a way. Time to find a new Afghan restaurant!

I ordered vegetarian food .Paneer sabji : salty and very low quality food . Lentil is ok . Frankly i can nade better lentil than that .

First there were missing items, rang the restaurant to deliver remaining and although they promised will be within 20mins it took more than an hour for the remaining items we went to sleep by that time was really inconvenient

The food itself was great, but I was disappointed in that I ordered two Chapli kebabs, but only received one set of sauces, this was not acceptable to me.

spent around £50 for a small gathering and it was hardly enough for 2-3 people. When i called the restaraunt they said it was my fault for ordering the food that have high prices and low portion. They were very rude on the phone and did not care about not being able to feed our guests. We had to order pizza in the end.

First time happened that Kabul Palace’s lamb chops were not properly grilled. Other items were just ok. Just chapli kebab were the best.

Unfortunately food didn't taste like curry at all. Plus was almost cold and packed in carry bag... Which doesn't keep food warm 😬 disappointed

Went with family the grill was good but small portions when you buy worth £100 not much in your plate too expensive on small portions The 4 curry’s were all awful had koftas had too much ginger was bitter and the rest were bland served in plates WHEN YOU ORDER LARGE CURRY!!!

The food was amazing. Please keep the food less oily. I didn’t get the mint chutney this time which I loved in every order.
