Juve Lounge in Newcastle upon Tyne

I could not recommend the Juve Lounge any higher. We recently booked the Juve Lounge to celebrate the recent passing of my beautiful young sister Tina. From the moment we arrived, Steve, Debbie and their team could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The great sized room was amazing and presented beautifully, The food was exceptional. We were also allowed to play my sisters favourite music though the Bluetooth sound system as well as all our favourite photographic memories showing on the 3 large screen TV's. All in all The Juve is a perfect venue for all occasions and I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Steve, Debbie and your great team for everything you did to help give my little sister the best ever send off, it was very much appreciated by our all family and friends xx

We heard good comments about the Juve so decided to hold my brothers funeral wake there. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you to Margaret for the beautiful buffet and to Lisa and David behind the bar. Special thanks to Steve for going above and beyond to ensure that everything went well. Special touches such as a welcoming speech to celebrate my brothers life, beautifully decorated tables and a condolence book were very much appreciated. I would say to anyone, dont hesitate to book the Juve. It's a very special venue.

Without a doubt one of the best local venues to hold a function. Steve & staff have been incredible hosting my mother in laws funeral at Juve lounge. From initial contact to on the day the experience & service has been second to none, so personal. Thanks again for being such great hosts. I was at the Juve Lounge yesterday to celebrate the life of my mother in law. On a sad day my first words upon entering the venue was 'wow'. Staff great, facilities perfect, food 2nd to none for a hot/cold buffet.

Booked for a christening today, amazing place we’ve had a few parties here before - all I can say is it’s amazing!! Friendly staff who engage with you too.

We held a Wake here immediately after my Dad's funeral. From the moment we had our initial meetinf, until the very end of the wake, the service and care we received was unbelievable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially the woman who prepared the food (I am sorry I forgot her name). The room was tastefully laid out and the food was above and beyond what we expected. The venue also allowed for us to play a slideshow of photos on their TV's, as well as using our own music playlist. Our guests were very impressed with the venus as a whole, and it was the perfect event to pay tribute to my Dad.

We booked the Juve Lounge for a family Wake. We couldn't fault the service we received from the owners Steve and Debbie. Nothing was a problem for them. The level of professionalism is superb and they go the extra mile with the little extras that meant such a lot to us. The buffet was exeptional. Margaret, the catering manager is very proud of her food and we can certainly recommend it. The room is lovely and feels special, set out perfectly. The prices of the buffet and room hire are perfect. The staff are respectful and willing to help with everything and anything we needed. Thankyou so much to alĺ at the Juve Lounge. You made a very hard day easier for us.

Funeral tea hosted here in July 22 .Beautiful room , excellent buffet, lovely staff , reasonable price Would highly recommend.

We had booked the Juve Lounge for a funeral for my Uncle on the 5th May 2022 and can honestly say from the first visit we knew we had chose the right place. From the second we walked in, we were welcomed by Steve whose professionalism is second to none, they accommodated our requests and went above and beyond to make the day perfect. They really did look after us from start to finish. The buffet was amazing - so many people commented on the day that it was the best buffet they’d ever had. The little touches such as giving us a memory book, and Steve & Debbie greeting the guests at the entrance was just lovely. The large screens dotted around the room was a big thing for us as we wanted to share photos with everyone throughout the day. The room is big, spacious, lovely decorated and exceptionally clean. A big big thank you from us all, we would highly recommend this place!! X

Excellent buffet helpful and friendly service

Lovely place for any function. The room was spotless. Toilets were too. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the buffet was well presented with hot and cold food which tasted great. Isn't a big room - not sure how many it holds - but well worth looking at if needing a venue.

We were recommended this place for an after funeral do. The owners are the nicest couple you could meet, they ensured that everything was set out as requested and the food was delicious. The selection of, ( very reasonably priced ) drinks both in the pumps and bottled would put some city centre bars to shame. The provision of 4 large TV screens to play a montage of pictures and the sound system to play your own playlist is a brilliant touch. No longer will you have to endure the local social club and their resident alcoholics watching the Racing Channel for functions, this place is in a whole different class. Thanks.

At a very difficult time Steve and Debbie could not have been more caring and helpful. The whole process of arranging this event was made all the easier by their professionalism. The room was beautifully presented as was the buffet table. The selection and standard of food was excellent. Everyone remarked what a good buffet it was. The extra touches of the book of condolences and Steve greeting us at the door were much appreciated. Many, many thanks.

Father in Laws wake held here in November. From our first contact Steve and his team were professional and empathetic without being fussy. Lots of attention to small details and very easy communication helped us get what we wanted from the day. Food was excellent both in terms of quality and value. Absolutely amazing venue and buffet ❤❤❤ I would like to thank Steve and all the staff for making this a really special evening for my friend from the very start Steve helped me out of a tricky spot when I had been let down by another venue offering to contact a previous booking move them to another date to free up the room for my guests. On the day he was there early to allow us to put up decorations and let the DJ and balloon lady set up and then the room was absolutely immaculate which all the guests loved and made lovely comments. The buffet was outstanding with a great choice of hot and cold food for all, including a lavish cheese board and to die for cakes! 🍰 I would highly recommend this venue for any event and will definitely use again, thanks again to everyone who created a fabulous evening.

Asistí a la Juve Lounge el 27 de noviembre de 2019 para el funeral del suegro de mi suegro.Había leído todas las excelentes críticas en Trip Adviser y tengo que decir que todas son ciertas.Este es un lugar moderno y encantador con un personal excelente. A nuestra llegada nos recibió Steve, el hombre a cargo, quien estuvo impecablemente asistido y fue a ayudarnos durante todo el día.Se proporcionó un libro de condolencias en el lugar y se exhibió una presentación de diapositivas de las fotos en las salas de muchas pantallas de TV. Esto significaba que todos veían fotos que grababan una vida vivida.El buffet era de un nivel muy alto con platos fríos y calientes que incluían panes de buena calidad y productos horneados, todo muy bien en una mesa vestida con flores y muchos otros toques adicionales.Había un excelente servicio del bar y precios muy razonables. 3 Gin & Tonics, un Martini y limonada y un Guinness llegando a 18. 00. Held a funeral reception here on 15.10.2019. The staff were so helpful and considerate, the food was fantastic and the venue bright, clean and welcoming. Massive thanks to all the staff who made the day run so smoothly.

What can I say; we all want to ensure we give our loved ones the best send off possible, its probably one of the most difficult and important decisions we will ever make but I can honestly say from the first moment i met Steve and Debbie I knew this was the place I wanted to celebrate my dads life with our family and friends.The venue and the food was amazing but it was the small personal touches from the heart that made it the more special.. The Juve Lounge recently catered for a wake for our family, from the onset of enquiry to final day the attention given was exemplary. Steve, the owner ensured nothing was too much bother. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The service, staff and setting were excellent. The venue very clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue for any sort of party.

The Juve lounge catered for my step fathers funeral. The staff were great and catered to our every move. I was even allowed to bake my step fathers favourite pie for him, even though they catered for the wake. We loved the fact that they did a condolence book and that we could have a collarge of photos on the tv:s with happy memories of him which we talked about all afternoon. The feedback from people who attended said the food was amazing and we even took photos of the cheese board and the other food. I do recommend them for any occasion as the attention to detail with Steve and Mandy was great. Greeting people into the lounge was a good thing to do as people felt welcome. Excellent service throughout from first meeting to arranging funeral tea till the actual day of funeral.

Whilst a very sad occasion this was an ideal place to hold the wake as not far from the Crematorium which made it convenient for family members travelling from other parts of the Country.

Can't stress how fantastic this venue is everything about it Steve and his partner and staff were so lovely the food was lovely if a funeral could have been any better all the staff made it so stress free can't say anymore than that I hope I have the pleasure of another function at this venue thank you so much x

We attended the juve lounge today could not of got a nicer place Steven was great looked after us all & the staff are brilliant the food was excellent would definitely use this place in the future would recommend to anyone if they have a function coming up thanks again Steven

My mum and sister hosted a 30th party here for me and due to it being December month not a lot of people showed up and catering was paid for in abundance. We were informed my staff that left over could be kept till following day and they offered to wrap it and keep refridgerated. They themselves offered this service. We were informed that we could collect following day but no one was there. When we contacted Steve told us that we could could the next day at 9am and assured us things would be kept fresh and refrigerated. Then a following text a few hours later I was told the hot food had been chucked out and he would see what was put away and refrigerated, to then be told he has a ‘policy’ for taking food 2 hours post function. Very unprofessional, the fact my family paid a lot of money and we were offered this service only to have them change their mind several times and be messed about to be than told they have this ‘policy’ this should of been told from the start then all food would have been taken on the night. Really unprofessional communication would not recommend

We could not have chosen a better venue for the Reception following our mother's funeral. Steve and Debbie and their staff were welcoming, kind, thoughtful and flexible. They welcomed everyone and nothing was too much trouble.

We hired the juve lounge for my aunties wake yesterday. Everything was first class, Steve and Debbie were extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and everyone commented on how lovely it was.we will definitely hire the juve lounge again for future functions. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone as it was superb thanks again.

I had my husbands funeral reception at the Juve Lounge on 22nd October 2018 and cannot fault anything, from the warm welcome Steve and his staff gave us to the food, it was definately the best food anyone had ever had at a funeral reception, in fact my friend is planning on booking it for her 80th birthday bash.

My daughter and her husband had their wedding reception here on the 6th October and it was absolutely fabulous. The dressing of the room was beautiful, food was fantastic and the staff are wonderful. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone.

Huge thank you to Steve Debbie and the team at Juve lounge we held my grandmas wake here on 10th aug and honestly could not have picked anywhere better. Fabulous food and sweet little touches made the event so classy and perfect for the send off of my grandma. Steve said we could make a playlist of songs for the day. We had all her favourite music played and a slideshow of photos straight onto the TVs so everyone could watch photos from her life, showing what a truly wonderful woman she was, this special lady had the best tribute. The book on condolences supplied of behalf of Juve lounge was another beautiful tribute to her-thank you for that.

Steve, Debbie and staff were so professional and helpful throughout the day. Any questions we had were promptly dealt with to ensure the day went smoothly. We were all greeted at the door by Steve and Debbie, a lovely touch! The venue is in a lovely setting with loads of parking. The room itself is well decorated, spacious and very clean. Easy access for anyone in a wheelchair. The buffet was absolutely lovely and there was plenty of variety. Highly recommend this venue for all occasions.

Couldn’t have asked for a better day. The room looked beautiful, the staff were brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. They did a fantastic job with the catering and the food looked and tasted amazing. They made our little girls day a day to remember.

We had our home wedding party here and it was amazing. Steve and his wife were amazing. The venue is very clean and smart. Would recommend it to anyone. Will defo be using it in the future for any further events.

I held our daughters christening here at weekend and what can I say....well first of all fabulous owners Debbie and Steve they helped me from start to finish..outstanding service. The room is perfect and very modern , as it was raining Steve let us have bouncy castle in gym which was ideal for kids, i can't recommended this room and the service enough! Lovely welcome by staff. Delicious food best I've ever seen at a funeral. Our guests all complimented the food. Staff all very professional and friendly and smartly dressed.

I recently booked this venue for a 50th birthday party,and it was an excellent choice.Steve and Debbie could not have done more to make sure the party was a huge success.The decor is brilliant if you are a Newcastle United fan,with murals in the function room and toilets and tasteful black and white colour scheme,but really it's suitable for any occasion.We used our own disco and caterers and the venue was very helpful and accommodating to them both.The venue is wheelchair friendly,and all of the facilities are top-notch.I would highly recommend this venue

Booked this venue for my sons christening and it was superb. Venue is new, modern and clean. The manager and his team were faultless and couldn't do enough to help make it a really special occasion... including the use of the outdoor space which kept all the children entertained. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

I have been here on a few occasions the latest being a christening party. The room is perfect and very modern. It would be great for any type of occasion. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Other family members and friends have also complimented how lovely the place is and are planning on booking here for future special occasions one being a wedding and also a 50th birthday party. I would highly recommend Juve lounge you will not be let down. Looking forward to going there again.
