Jumbo Chinese and Thai Take Away in Horsham

Perfect quality food and excellent delivery ...

We are NOT happy with our order this evening- I ordered at 6pm for a delivery at 9.30pm. I called at 10pm and was 'hung up on' before I could speak. The order arrived at 10.10pm- which was much too late to eat- VERY disappointing. we will not order from JUMBO again 😒

ordered 20 too 6 arrived 25 past 6 only had to take a 5 min journey by car to my home ??? 45mins journey ? i ordered on line and it told me it was on the way 20 too 6 it also told me online it had arrived at appointed time lol but it had not arrived it was 45 mins late for a journey that takes 5 mins by car so tell me what went wrong eh ?? fortunately we ALWAYS heat our takeaways up when we we get then

Was fab and early and hot and tasty

The special chow mein was lots of noodles, with a tiny bit of meat and veg and certainly not worth £8.10. The rest of the order was fine but I won't be ordering chow mein again.

Bland dry rice. Noodles in chow mien over cooked!

Really disappointed with the food tonight. Having ordered from Jumbo many time and have always been pleased with the quality and tastes Tonight’s meal have a number of items that were over cooked and very chewy. The prawn toast was a most burnt , the sweet and sour balls tasted as if they had been reheated 5 times very chewy chicken and overcooked batter, the lemon chicken was very thin, tasted like the end part of chicken and again reheated 5 times not very nice at the salt and chilly squid was

Everything tasted sweet. Unfortunately we won't order again from this restaurant.

Our new fave Chinese by far. Wish we'd tried before. Food was outstanding and delivered piping hot in half the quoted time. Highly recommend!!

There was a mix up with collection & jumbo really accommodated us - unfortunately the wrong order was delivered but they cooked all our food fresh and got it to us regardless!! Amazing food as always, thanks Jumbo 🖤

Food arrived quickly, chilli beef was chewy and chicken didn’t seem very nice quality. Spring rolls nice. We usually go elsewhere but based on reviews went here but probably wouldn’t again

The food wasn't nice at all tonight. The wings were too well done or not done enough, the prawn toast was burnt. The crispy beef wasn't anything to do with beef and was just one big lump in the box. The food in general wasn't nice at all. Definitely don't think I'll be ordering from there again. Very disappointed

food very late i called to tell jumbos it was late at 6 o clock should of been delivered at 20 too 6 i was told it was on its way waited and waited its now 6.30 when it arrived driver tells me he only got order 20 minutes ago? which is strange as jumbos told me much earlyer it doesnt take 45 mins / 30 mins / even 20 mins to deliver up the road to me from jumbos ???

The spring rolls were OK but had an odd sour taste, the noodled were burned, yes, burned, the chicken was very tender but utterly tasteless, the salt & chilli prawns were not at all like they are supposed to be and were cold - whereas everything else was very hot so that cannot even be blamed on delivery.

Food arrives on time but was stone cold. Was like they had cooked it ages ago but it had sat waiting for a driver. Poor food and quality, won’t be ordering again

The food as ok. Very brown with no greenery, even the veg dish was mostly onions and still brown in colour. I liked the satay sauce and the veg pancake rolls. The prawn toast had a very strange taste though. Almost meaty. Which isn’t great as my daughter who wanted them is a pescatarian. I am wondering if they were off. So we only ate a little and binned the rest. Such a shame. The food was delivered before the App even said it was on its way, so don’t know what happened there. All in all a bit disappointing.

Food was really delicious, arrived early and the food was nice and hot.

Only fault we had was that we ordered 4 crispy pancake rolls but only got 2 but paid for 4

Beautifully fresh tasting and lovely as always!

Food was great, crispy beef was crispy and spicy, pancake rolls meaty and loads of duck from the 1/4 duck. We just had to wait an hour and a half for it.

It was ok. Loads of sauce, although somewhat lacking in flavor.

Placed an order for delivery to my work, set to deliver just before my 30min lunch break, order was 30 minutes late meaning I missed my lunch break waiting for delivery

Munchie box was lovely! Wasn't impressed with the other dishes unfortunately, beef in black bean was mainly just Peppers, Singapore noodles just tasted of curry powder and the crispy chicken wasn't crispy. Delivery was good and quick, was just disappointed in the food

Jumbo are always good, however this time the Satay only had 2 skewers in. Which was a shame. Error in the kitchen.

The food was pretty hit and miss. The ribs and seaweed were nice, and the spring rolls we're the best we've had. Unfortunately, the meat and squid dishes were overcooked, with the chicken and pork being dry and the deep fried squid going into chewy territory.

All of the food had a strong lemon taste even though we didn’t order any citrus based dishes. The BBQ chicken tasted like Marzipan and chicken satay was very tough. Not sure how this place is so raved about…

I have ordered food many times from jumbo but is the worst food I've ever had , I ordered q of duck which is usually on the bone , this wasn't and was pre cut and dry , and to be fair all of my other dishes were dry like they had been re-heated . I am so disappointed as I've always loved the food, but your standards have seriously dropped, bit ur prices haven't. Unless you contact me I will not be using you again . What a shame 😔 😕

The order arrived 15 minutes after the delivery driver originally drove past our house and left The food ALL arrived cold Rice was freezing, fish dishes cold. We binned it - couldn’t even eat it. I used to order from Jumbo but won’t touch them again ever tee we’re told the food would be delivered in heat bags the driver got it out of his boot no heat bags to be seen. Appalling ! Then they refuse a refund Disgusting

We got a lovely greeting on arrival and the food was very tasty.

Food quality was shocking overcooked, chewy very disappointed with pretty much all of it. Was 30 minutes late for delivery time asked for partial refund to be given a poor excuse of driver stuck in heavy traffic I live 15 minutes away from the restaurant at the most there's no way it took 40 minutes from them leaving and notifying me at 18:45 to them delivering at 19:25 won't be ordering again disgusting service.

Foods delivery slot was between 7:05pm and 7:25pm, it turned up at 7:50pm odd, just about warm and by then the food was a bit meh. Chicken ball batter soggy etc. Shame, as the delivery lad was nice. But was left disappointed, for the price paid.

Always use them. Food is top draw.

I order from here all the time, today just really missed the mark. The food was cold, poor quality and just wasn’t what we’re used to having from Jumbo!

Relatives who aren’t from around the area came for Chinese food tonight. All expressed how good it was…(some saying best Chinese takeaway they’ve had) full of flavour, hot, the crispy dishes were crispy and not soggy. Overall 10/10, always our go to Chinese in Horsham.

We did have to chase the restaurant as the delivery was half an hour later than the final delivery time given, however, the staff were extremely apologetic and gave complimentary dishes to apologise. Food was amazing and well worth the wait.

Sweet and sour prawns were soft and very greasy, it would have been better if they had been cooked longer to be crispier. All the other dishes were nice.

Amazing food, amazing delivery time. 10/10 recommended.

Excellent food, the best Chinese I’ve had from a takeaway in Horsham since Jade shut at the Iron Bridge.

All amazing as usual but for the first time (we usually order over the phone directly with Jumbo) they forgot the hoisin sauce, cucumber and spring onions for the duck!!!!

Delivery was predicted over 80 min (seemed long time) came 5-10 min early

Ten minutes before estimated time and it was lovely we had a busy day and we really appreciated that we could then eat and relax

Food is normally good from Jumbo, but the fact it was 15 mins early was an added bonus!

Normal the food is good or very good but it was rather poor tonight. The battered squid was inedible. The Satay chicken was overrun with onions and the lemon honey chicken was average - not crispy. Even the egg fried rice was so so.

Noodles weren’t nice but the rest was great. Will order again without the noodles.

Food arrived on time, was piping hot, but the special fried rice was bland, the chips were over seasoned, both the satay chicken and curry was overly spicy, the chicken in the sweet and sour and the satay skewers was dry. Not good, which is disappointing as we have ordered from there before and the food was amazing.

For the price of the food it’s amazing however I had a fe issues. the egg fried rice tasted abit fishy which put me off the rice. The chicken curry was watery. My food came really quickly which made me feel like maybe it wasn’t fresh to order.

Great all round really. We got our order in early, it arrived on time and food was delicious!

Just finished eating our order and wow! Every dish we received was so good. Nothing disappointing at all which often happens with other restaurants. Our order also came slightly early which was a welcome surprise. Thanks Jumbo ☺️

Good Food. Good Quality. Delivery was a bit slow but its a Saturday so I can understand it. If you are looking for a quick order I wouldnt go hear. But its well worth the wait.

Food tasted so good! Would have liked sweet chilli sauce with the prawn crackers. Usually they come with these sauces but this restaurant didn't. The food was 20 mons earlier which was selected a time for a reason. I would have liked it around 5 mins early

Ordered around 3pm for delivery at 17:45pm on new years eve. At 17:39pm my order was cancelled leaving no way of getting an order where needed, phones off the hook. It’s disgusting to treat customers like this.
