My wife and I have visited the Joshua tree twice now since it opened and have really enjoyed the experience both times! They offer all the usual Indian dishes but also a variety of different options to try. The service is really attentive and atmosphere is great - it's great to have an Indian meal in a pub environment. Highly recommend.

Tried The Joshua Tree for the first time tonight, absolutely lovely tasting, tried the Gobi Manchurian never heard of it before... Wow was amazing. Had become fed up with previous places we had tried, so glad we I tried here!

Went there for mothers day and the food and service were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One of the nicest thing was that they gave mum a Mothers day card, free glass of excellent wine as well as an excelant side dish for free. This is the best service given

Peaceful atmosphere and very calm outside place to relax and enjoy your drink 24-2-2024 As a South Indian, I recently used Joshua Tree Pub and Indian Restaurant for my baby's 1st birthday party catering. The food was authentic and flavorful, reminding me of home-cooked meals. Every dish impressed my guests. The staff's professionalism made the experience seamless. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine for their special events or everyday dining.

It’s the best and most authentic Indian food (with an emphasis on South Indian flavor). Their chicken lollipop is to die for; it’s so delicious. We moved to Redhill, and our kitchen was not set for a couple of days. We looked at Uber Eats and started scrolling through online food joints. We stumbled upon the Jousha tree and looked at its menu. We saw chicken lollipops, and it was no going back from there. My partner is absolutely obsessed with chiken Lolis. We ordered a couple of times from there, and the taste was consistent. We absolutely loved their South Indian flavor infused, non-vegetarian curry. We have never visited this place in person; hopefully we will soon, or maybe today? Who knows.

The restaurant was great. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food had a variety of tasty options and was well-prepared. I had a good time and would recommend it.

I recently joined some friends for a birthday celebration on a Tuesday night at the Joshua Tree. I hadn't been there before but had heard some good secondhand reviews. On entering I was a little wary but the setup of a pub at the front of the building and a curry restaurant at the back, but the staff made us feel welcome. It was quite quiet, with two other tables occupied, so the service was swift and the food came out pretty quickly. And as for the food - wow. I am no expert, but everything I ordered tasted amazing. A guest in our party was a self proclaimed curry expert and they were impressed as well. We chatted to our waiter and how long they had owned the restaurant and where the food originated from. He was very chatty and lovely to talk to. Overly it was a fun and feast-ful evening. Looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent Indian food! Amazing service - Tom who served us was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended us some delicious options that we had never tried before. You can tell the chefs are highly skilled. We will definitely be back again.

The food is delicious but a bit pricey when compared to other similar places.

Finally a very good Indian takeaway in the area. The kids absolutely loved the paneer masala and the lamb curry and butter chicken was delicious. Definitely will be dining in next time!!

Had a delivery from here last night they delivered wrong food after speaking to two different people ? How can a chicken curry be mistaken for a varutharacha chicken curry ? The food was very dark in colour and very oily . The meal we had for two was expensive and was charged 20 per cent tax on top as well for delivery ?. All in all extremely disappointed about the whole experience after reading all the good reviews ..Been eating Curry's for 40 years all over London and this place certainly is not any where near up to scratch will definitely not ordering from here again wrong order oily food and very expensive not much more I can say be warned. oh and the fella answering for delivery speaks very little English £44.65 for 2 chicken curries 1 boiled rice 1 Bombay potato 1 aloo Gobi 1 keema nan 1 plain nan Very pricey Would like to point out after your reply that there was no discussion regarding the different chicken curry so that's untrue. The man I spoke to didn't speak good English I was passed on to a young lady and no discussion whatsoever was made re the curry you sent that I never ordered. I have not made any false claims all very true. As for refund how would I have a card machine to get refund I'm not a business ? Funny how you can take a payment on your machine but cannot do a refund on your machine ?? I'm more than happy to come to your premises to get refund , Also nothing was mentioned regarding £5 delivery charge another untrue statement. Just updating the situation after complaint nothing was ever refunded .. No wonder the restaurant is empty every night of the week including weekends .. Please don't waste Ur money in this expensive below par restaurant 😞

The real deal! Authentic Indian cuisine. Delicious regional dishes that you don't get in most Indian restaurants. Feel very lucky to have it so close to home. Everyone should try the dosa! Generous helpings and fantastic service. Thank you!!!

Such a warm and welcoming service, immediately made comfortable and on 1st name terms, the food is delicious and is unlike any Indian food I have had locally, I would recommend to anyone that cares to listen, you won't be disappointed!

Food was excellent. Good sized portions and incredibly tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive. Knocked a star off because there was very little meat on the fish in the Fish Volcano dish, but the rest was very good indeed.

Good food if you know what to order. I've been here twice, and liked fried items such as Gobi Manchurian and Schezwan fried rice. Haven't been a fan of their chats as they feel like they are off the shelf. Service, though is excellent. Staff are very accommodating and offer you all the help you need in ordering and making yourself comfortable. If only veg options were more and made better, I would update the place with full 5 stars.

We had here great staff party. I ate here the best chicken lollies and American chop suey ever. Great flavours not too spicy. Big portions and burning hot. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Really nice place to spend time. I will be back here for sure! Thanks guys!

Best curry i have had in ages. Tradtional indian food. Highly recommended the chicken tikka massala. Pilau rice was outstanding. Used to love the old Joshua tree, so was apprehensive at first but wasn't disappointed in the least. Will be trying the takeaway option as well soon.

Amazing turnaround in recent times in the Joshua tree in redhill .. From the staffs , service and food this is the best place to go in and around the area .. Serving authentic Indian cuisine with personal recommendations from the staffs , it makes the whole experience pleasant .. I have been a frequent visitor to this place after the change and haven’t regretted any of my visits .. a must try place !

Visited the Joshua Tree for the first time since it has changed hands. Considering it was circa 3pm on Saturday afternoon I was a bit nervous, hardly peak time for any food outlet. Having said that, I was very impressed, the food was excellent, the staff highly efficient and friendly. I will be visiting again soon, highly recommended.

The best Indian food in the area, without doubt. It's authentic food cooked to a high standard, full of flavour, with lots of lovely South Indian twists that you can't get anywhere else round here, like little kerala parathas or various dosas. Can't wait to return. And great to see Tony at the helm, who also runs the best hardware store around, SH Hardware

We ordered from the website last night. Easy website to navigate with photos. Very delicious. Definitely the best Indian food in redhill! We never order Indian takeaway, I just make it at home. But we will definitely order again! Only lost a star because the lamb was a little tough and the curry I had was a little bit one dimensional in flavour. However everything else was absolutely delicious. We will return! Reasonably priced for the quality provided

It was my first time, and I did a takeaway. The food service was good, and the staff was very attentive to customers. But I must have a meal in which would be more exciting and hot to eat on the premises. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Indian. Excellent!!👍🏻

Really great food, full South Indian menu which is a nice change in Earlswood. The service was excellent and really welcoming to the children, lots of football chat. A really nice pub to have Indian food in which makes for a nice chilled out atmosphere. A nice addition to Earlswood, worth a visit to support them as they get going.

Ordered takeaway a couple nights ago for my partner's birthday. Although they had a few issues with the online ordering system, it was their first night testing it, I'm happy to report that the food was amazing, everybody enjoyed it. The pub/restaurant has the right balance and feel.

We order tandoori king prawns totally disappointed even size also too small, not even marinated properly. Chicken lollipops should be cooked more and crispy decent portion size.Nadan beef curry was good. Varuthacha chicken curry was not Up to the the real taste. NAAN was good . But the Chapathi & kerala poratta Okey. Beef ularthiyath also below average. Service should be improved. l feel like they are open recently and trying to get in the track.

Great food and good beer. Highly recommend the starters, especially the beef dry fry and the squid roast. Kudos to the team for taking good care of us inspite being a very busy Friday evening. All the best to the new team. Will be back for more food and beer 🙂

The food took extremely long to come out, despite the pub/restaurant being empty (we were the only customers). May I suggest you give a description of each food item? Not everyone knows all indian meals off by heart. You'll lose a lot of customers by assuming we do....

Popped in this evening for the first time since changing hands. The cleanliness of the place was exceptional and its rend much bright cleaner and more welcoming. The staff were friendly and polite. I didn’t have time to eat but the menu and smell looked good! Will definitely be going back to dine!

Do yourself a favour and visit this newly opened Indian restaurant/ pub in Earlswood. Incredible food with an extensive menu of North Indian Street food and South Indian traditional dishes. Hospitable hosts, beautiful presentation and the most delicious pineapple mocktails(!) I recommend it to everyone. They catered impeccably to my gluten free eating requirements and were quick to offer me rice in lieu of the naan. The ambiance is very welcoming, yet charming. The new owners have softened the decor adding pretty blinds at the windows and low soft lighting in the back space. With the addition of the new sign outside and a stunning lick of paint, you can't miss it. Plus you can still have drinks on the common opposite. I was honoured to be invited to the Grand Opening, along with the owner's family & friends, a smattering of local councillors and the Mayor and Mayoress of Reigate & Banstead (scroll to photo 4). I was served by owner Tony and Mia. They made us feel very welcome and gave us an amazing experience and ultimately left a great taste in my mouth!

Went for a late dinner with friends. Tried the Chaats( dahi puri highly recommended) My son enjoyed the butter chicken masala. Not sweet and the sauce was smooth and creamy. The next dish was beef and parotta ( Kerala style) A must try for every one.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, boasting an exceptional, authentic South Indian menu that will satisfy even the most discerning palates. I can’t get over how tasty and flavourful the food is especially at such a competitive price. We had the the chicken lollipop, Manchurian, chicken roast with kerala parothas all comparable to Indian food you get back in Kerala. But what truly left a lasting impression was the attentive and friendly staff. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to guide diners through the South Indian culinary journey was commendable. Set in an English pub, the atmosphere, decor is very warm and inviting. Once again I highly recommend this place if you want incredible, mouthwatering and authentic Indian food.

Finally a good Indian food restaurant in Redhill. Great food. Great stuff and Great atmosphere. Ticks all the boxes and very happy that I tried this restaurant.

I think there has been a change of management - it's Indian food now and finally a really good local Indian restaurant. Amazing Keralan food. Friendly staff. All-round great evening out. Highly recommended the chicken 65. Temporary menu but I hope it stays the same- can not wait to try the other dishes.

Some of the best food in the area. The Joshua Tree has friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It is on the edge of a massive common to enjoy in the summer. I took my mother there for mother's day and we had a fantastic meal and on our exit they gave my mum a lovely plant to take home.

Visited midweek, food was really good but pub was so quiet as only a handful of other customers so atmosphere was a bit lacking, a real shame as worth a visit for the food.

Sit and eat and you swiftly realise that the chef is true quality. The sauces, all individually prepared, are just perfection. From the outside the pub looks like many country pubs. Look at the menu and you realise you may be in for a treat, and you are .....

Sunday lunch, Yorkshire puds to die for, perfect meats,hot vegetables and extra gravy!

It's old school but in a really nice way, staff were in incredible, good beer, food was lovely, better than you would think looking at the menu items, special was really good, really good price.

Lovely Sunday roast dinner with the family ,value for money ,also great specials would thoroughly recommend, and don't forget the pies 😀

Back from yet another delicious meal at The Joshua Tree. Tracey and Kev always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The food is exceptional, from the presentation to the taste, it’s all flawless. The staff are attentive and really do make you feel welcome. I cannot recommend eating here enough, a must do for anyone looking for a truly perfect meal.

Lovely food and great that smaller meals option was available. We will come again.

Best Sunday Roast in town! Great pub!

My son took me for a lovely Mother’s Day meal treat to this great eatery. They were very busy with lots of Mothers there and children/toddlers being catered for too. Nothing too much for staff and the food was gorgeous. A lovely treat given to all mothers taking home a pot of daffodils with a few sweet treats arranged around the base. Hats off to the Joshua Tree.

Nice environment, friendly service and excellent food. It is worth the effort to go from Redhill (around a mile) The walk (there are frequent buses, a rail station a short walk away and parking nearby and a taxi shouldn't be too pricey) was pleasant enough. The food is clearly cooked fresh and is excellent, the lamb steak and kidney pie had large chunks of meat. The fruit crumble was lovely, the rhubarb, apple and gooseberry mix was perfectly balanced for sweetness with an excellent crumble. Well worth a visit.

The service was welcoming, and attentive without being obtrusive and the wine menu provided a good selection at reasonable prices. I went to the Joshua Tree as a large group for a birthday meal. A 3 course meal had been pre-booked and ordered. The pub was very welcoming, staff attentive, and the food was hot, tasty and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

After deciding last minute to book for mother's day early dinner, I wasn't expecting much and I must say the food was amazing. Me and my had their homemade soup which tasted lovely and then I had a chicken roast very decent portion, my husband had the brisket I thinknit was and demolished it. My little boy had chicken nuggets and chips then chocolate ice cream after. The service was good, only thing I'd say is it felt like it took abit long for food to come out but its all homemade and honestly so worth the wait. I ha e been alot of places and this is the first time I've had chicken roast out and the chicken not be dry and actually really well cooked. We will definitely be back soon.

I've had a few meals out in the last few months and have 95% of the time been left feeling disappointed. Usually it's simply that the food is nothing worth shouting about, and so therefore, not really worth returning. Or it's the portion sizes, which are sometimes exaggerated. I'm not a large chap, but I'm paying for a service and like my food to be visible on my plate! Not the Joshua Tree! The service is fantastic, whilst the meals took a bit long, I appreciate they're made from scratch and it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered rump and chips accompanied with blue cheese sauce, whilst initially I thought the meal was a bit small, I was certainly satisfied once I'd completed the teleportation process. Steak was rare like I'd asked and was a great cut, chips were properly crispy like they should be, as well as the salad being nice, fresh and crispy. My girlfriend had a chicken meal off the main menu, WOWZERS, that was good! Value for money is good too and a pint of ale under £5. Is it worth shouting about? Yes, I certainly think so, and I will therefore happily return.
