Joe's Ice Cream in Swansea

As a life long eater of this ice cream it’s the best I’ve ever tasted Thankfully Joes have 5 outlets as well as numerous shops that sell this superb ice cream My all time favourite is the strawberry marshmallow sundae numerous other flavours are available as well as toppings This award winning ice cream has been in Swansea for over 100 years and now has 3 shops in Swansea as well as Llanelli and even in Cardiff The ice cream I had in this photo is a new edition to the menu A blueberry crumble flavour with lashings of ice cream

Spent over £25 one purchase being the largest tub asked for loose wafers and was given 2 . You would think that when you spend that much they would give you at least 6 wafers. The worst one for doing this is St. Helens Road

I visit St Helens Joe's regularly as can be seen on my bank (3× week) as my partner is obsessed with the ice-cream and each visit we spend over £20. On this occasion I visited the Llansamlet one due to being in the area and found that their items are different prices and descriptions from the other branch! When I asked why they menu is different and more expensive the girl looked at me stupid. We ordered a special Sunday and 2 small thermal containers, then had to pay for toppings and when I asked for the wafers that I normally receive, the girl advised we do not get them! Considering you give them out for all ice-creams regardless of price and I just paid a lot on a single visit I was disappointed with the lack of service provided. The product quality is amazing can't beat a joes ice-cream shame about the inconsistencies in menu and prices. Plus the lack of customer care, I shall not be returning to this store again.

Had 2 sundaes here and they were horrible. They tasted like plastic which is unusual because we love Joe's normally. My sister who was with me at the time goes almost every week. When we raised this with a member of staff and he made brand new sundaes without a question. Opened new products etc. But the second batch tasted the same. When we asked for a refund, the manager spoke to my sister like she was a liar. She spoke with accusation and defensiveness saying "what do you mean it tastes plasticy? We all had one at lunch and none of us think that" Ultimately, it doesn't matter what the staff thinks, if a customer has bought a product they are not happy with, they are entitled to a refund. A week later we drove by without getting one. Sure, the ice cream may have been a one off, but the poor customer service from the manager tasted worse than the off ice cream. I won't go again

If you don't go to Joe's, heaven you really been to Wales. Been my favourite since I was a kid 40yrs on and every visit feels like the first

I grew up with Joe's Ice Cream and always make sure to come here when I visit Swansea.

What can I say, a smooth and fluffy ice cream that us full in flavor. Such a perfect way to end your day in Swansea and chill with a cold treat in a cold rainy weather. Loved it!

This is clearly a very popular place in the area, but the quality of the ice cream explains why. The Turkish delight tasted just like Fry's while the vanilla is creamy and not overpowering.

Joes ice cream is an institution in swansea, and this branch, much like the Mumbles location, never fails to hold up that status. Friendly staff and a really clean shop front. Top notch products and always my first choice when it comes to going out to get a sweet treat

Staff were unenthusiastic and not particularly helpful. I asked if there were any pictures of the Sundays and all I got was a shrug. I didn’t get much more of a response when I asked what toppings they had. There was nowhere to sit. The ice cream was ok but I won’t be bothering again.

Ice cream is stupendous. Best in the UK. This particular outlet has a parking area which is shared with the other food shops and its just too small!

It's Joe's Ice Cream, it really is incredible ice cream it puts the premium brands in the supermarkets to shame. The tub sizes are great there's such a selection you're sure to find the right size for you, also the ice cream menu is wonderful, I do love the strawberry marshmallow sundae plus they sell tubes that you can take home, I wish there were branches nationwide. This particular branch is great for parking plus you can get your lunch next door then pop in here for your desert, just make sure to leave plenty of room for a large sundae as you will want more and it's worth it. If you want a suit down experience then I'd recommend the Swansea branch or the Mumbles branch (expect to queue here on a hot day).

Simply the richest flavoured icecream this side of Sardinia! We have nice icecream in Britain, but having tried various flavours in many different venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales, several in Germany, Belgium France Spain and Austria, the only place I've had as good as Joe's Icecream, is Italy! If you haven't tried some yet, you are in for a treat. The taste at the shops that actually make it in house, are definitely better than stockists, but it's difficult to pick the best of all, it's that good. I tend to get a tub two scoops is nice, 3 is better though. There are different flavours on offer, with a variety of toppings. My "go-to" is vanilla and it is amazingly creamy, the other flavours follow suit. It is one of our treats in and around the Swansea Bay area, I cannot recommend it enough.

Very friendly staff, Joes is the best ice cream you can get. There is no waiting around in long queues as there are plenty of staff there to take and prepare your orders. It is a well oiled machine, slick operation.

JOE'S ICE CREAM if you are ever in Swansea go to one of the JOE'S , parlours you will not regret it. Bad points it is on the expensive side but when we do go past one of JOE'S shops can't stop myself lol 😂
