Jim's Supper Bar in Flintshire

5 meals. 3 Chinese which they said was OK. One sausage was OK. One fish dinner which was very disappointing.

All my family including me have been eating amazing food from jims for years. I personally like the super hot food and jim always makes the hottest best quality food around. The portions are enough to feed you for two meals the price is very fair for the quality and quantity. We have never had bad food from jims i really cant say enough good things about jims a great place run by a great family. Ten out of ten service yen out of ten food!

The food here is absolutely gorgeous. They really know how to make beautiful Chinese food. Would like to be able to order home delivery from an app for this place but it's cash only.

Lovely amazing staff and the best Curry and Chips I've had so far 1st time I've fully finished a medium box of chips and curry really nice.

Omnomnom! Edit. Got fried rice, chips and curry from there last night and the chips were mega dry and the rice wasn't cooked. I'm putting it down to a bad though because its the first time I've had a bad one from there since it's been open.

Well, tonight we tried a meal from Jim's, the reviews on here are great, so what have you been eating? Here's what we had. The Mrs had the meal for one, which was fine. I ordered the special omelet that comes with chips and pea as per their menu, which we specifically asked for, my omelete came on a bed of fried rice and was so salty I couldn't eat it, who on earth has rice with an omelete anyway. I also ordered a yung chow fried rice and a pot of sweet and sour sauce, the sweet and sour sauce was vile. Personally, I will never eat from there again, my food was horrible. On the plus side the wife likes their curry. Never again for us unfortunately.

Not bothered about social distancing, dont have door open to help with ventilation, 4 people inside and no covid signs up.

If you like a good hot Chinese style curry then this is your best choice locally. Meals a little on the small side but good quality.

Jim's has forever been my absolute favourite Chinese in Deeside but after tonight I'm not so sure. To find out that the chips are now frozen chips shocked me, salt & pepper chicken wings overcooked and just general dissatisfaction with the meal. I'll definitely be finding a new favourite

Not real chips ! ordered salt & pepper chicken with salt & pepper chips not much taste a tiny few onions no peppers. Chicken chow mien ok good portion size. Must have been an error in the charge as it was £16.70! Can't see menu on line but I usually pay around £13 . Will only take cash not good in a pandemic .

Had food from here for the 1st time at the weekend. It's now my favourite takeaway. The food was lovely, set meals are great if your wanting a few dishes to share. It was all hit, fresh & tasty. They do deliver but we phoned then picked up. We will return soon!

Normally okay and reliable delivery, but not yesterday, ordered food at 17.00 hrs to be delivered at 19.00 hrs, food didn't turn up until 19.35 hrs, disappointed in that

Most delicious food,it could be quick on delivery, but the waiting is worth it when you have it on the end. Would recommend it.

Had delivery service for 4 people.I had fish and chips that were excellent the others had Chinese meals.two had fried rice one had boiled. All agreed meals were excellent. 4 clean plates says it all.

We had delivery last night - starters were excellent with the salt and pepper wings very hot with chilli. Duck spring rolls were crispy and tasty. Mains were also very good. King prawn satay and chicken in black bean. We will be back!

Discousting food, never again. Sauce made from sugar, vinegar and some artificial flavours. So disappointed. Not even close to Chinese food.

Fair doos this place is good. The staff are friendly, the chef will adjust meals for you. My fiancee always wants volcanic curry so he will add more spice. That also is one thing with this place if you like your food spicy you are sorted. If it's a hot meal like chilli and ginger... Its hot!! The curry too is not the pleasant if a little lame usual chippy type, this stuff is spicy! Portions are huge and good service. Excellent chinese takeaway, recommended.

Jim’s is a great place, been going here for years and no matter who owns it it always seems to be good quality nice food.

Food Excellent, sometimes busy although shop looks empty as half of Deeside phone order as food is so good. Midweek is a good time for a swift feast. Jim will adjust meals for you too, make it hotter add subtract ingredients etc but no need as his recipes are fit!

Went here one late night on way home from work, had a fantastic take out meal and I am now looking forward to going back for more.

every Saturday my family has a takeout tonight we decided to have a change from our local Saturday treat so chose jims supper bar well let me tell you this is the best Chinese takeaway we have had for a long time one family member had fish and chips and said that it was the best for a long time they have eaten hats off to you at jims supper bar friendly staff and exquisite food well recommended and will definetly be back for more

Didn't cover my expectations. Waiting long time and on the end .... not happy at all!

We collected a takeaway recently. Ribs and salt and pepper chicken were superb..... mains were excellent also. Very tasty and piping hot. We will be making a return visit!

Food and delivery very good also with very good choice of menue the only thing I would be negative about is on Friday/sat if you want a delivery around 8pm ring a couple hours before to get your slot x

We ordered some food from here and I've got to say it was very good. Particularly the Singapore vermicelli noodles! Best in desiderata by a long way!

The best chinese food in deeside flintshire. Uses less oils for a better flavour. Lots of fresh veg in the meals and the spicey meals are spicey. My favourite is chilli and garlic sauce dishes. 😋

Creo que, a lo largo de los años, hemos probado la mayoría de las probablemente extenso menú y tenemos sinceramente nunca había incluso una comida mediocre. Todo está preparado a la perfección y Jim estará encantado de adaptar las comidas para todos. Todo el personal es encantador y lo muy felizmente a familiares y amigos. Las entregas pueden tomar un tiempo pero las cosas buenas vienen a aquellos que esperar, como dicen.

Staff were very pleasant, the chicken curry is very tasty and spicy compared to other Chinese takeaways which is good, chips/rice nice and fresh, chicken with green peppers and black bean sauce was ok but sauce very bland and ridiculous amounts of onion. Would return and try another dish again.

Estamos malacostumbrados por tiendas en esta zona, así que lleva algo especial para destacar de la multitud. Mi favorito personal es de jim. Hemos recopilado y tenía los alimentos entregados en varias ocasiones. El personal siempre nos dio una bienvenida feliz, era profesional y competente en su trabajo. La selección de la comida es interminable, y de muy buena calidad, con buenas porciones, todo a un precio competitivo. Yo le llamaremos de nuevo.

Excellent quality food and good sized portions too. We had Chicken Curry, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, Spicy Beef, Singapore Noodles, Rices etc. All excellent. Chicken was freshly cooked breast, not reheated pieces. Children had Chicken Burgers with Chips. Whole family loved it. Definitely use them again.

I have had a takeaway from here only a few times as it is not my usual chippy. The food is always lovely and portion sizes are good. Service can be slow, but they are a very busy chippy. Always pleased by the food and service quality.

This chinese takeaway really does have the best chinese curry sauce ever. I no longer live in the area but still come back to buy a load of chinese curry takeaways to take home and freeze. My personal favourite is the beef curry, but my husbands is the prawn curry.In fact, we have also bought takeaways from here to give as birthday presents to friends that also rate it as the best but who also no longer live on Deeside.

Regularly use Jim's Supper Bar and in all fairness I cant fault it. Would have to say its the best Chinese takeaway in Deeside, food is fresh, enjoyable and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Would recommend to all. Portion sizes are also decent!

Great food nothing to much trouble jim will hot up the curries to you liking and makes the biggest chop suey rolls ive ever seen we love it .

Always go for singapore vermacelli and personally think it does the best noodles around. Service is quick and always seems to be doing well so not just me tat keeps going back for more!

This is a clean friendly Chinese take away. the prices are very reasonable and the size of the portions are excellent. All the food appears cooked to order and so a wait is sometimes necessary but I would rather wait than have something pre-cooked and stale. Good place for a Chinese Takeaway.
