Wow the food from here really is delicious. Everything clearly made fresh, treated with care and so so tasty.

Great food, all staff were fantastic apart from a lady who took our payment she was quite rude and had a poor attitude, this ruined it for all the staff who were amazing

Great restaurant with a good knowledge of gluten free. They make authentic pakoras with gram flour, meaning they are gluten free. Perfect for those that are gluten intolerant or coeliac. Great starters, curries and poppadoms. Lovely touches and a great service and experience. They were really busy with takeaways so we did wait a little for our starters. Amazing selection of gins. Really pleased we decided to go there.

I was hungry so decided to visit my local curry restaurant quite late at about 21:50 in the middle of the week ( Wednesday it was ). When I entered the premises the manager told me they were about to close, but they cannot send me away hungry so they accommodated me anyway. Lovely curry, nice wine, and amazing hospitality and customer service.

Excellent Indian restaurant. I had the Naga Lamb, which was delightfully fruity and had a nice kick. Bread was fresh out the Tandoor, lovely , soft, fluffy and delicious. Will defo be back and recommend.

Food was very good. It's really worth the money spent. We were family of ten and were greeted and warm welcome by the staff. They do give pappadams when you just sit on the table. At the end they gave orange slices which was my favourite. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in Aberdeen. Defo go.

Very nice food, spicy and made very well. The only problem was the noise, we were in the basement floor and had a big group on the other two tables. It was extremely noisy and we couldn’t talk together. Also quite warm, the air was just still and with 40 people on the basement it got unbearably warm.

Went as part of the local restaurant week on a Sunday sfternoon and the place was packed , food was fantastic and service was superb and a £10 for 2 courses of great food , I had the pakoras followed by the Chicken tikka masala , will definitely be back for a full meal

It is not often that I find a restaurant that I can give a 10 to, but this place is the exception. In general we have found UK restaurants to be overpriced. These guys weren’t cheap, but they were certainly value for money. Food, again exceptional. Won’t go through our list, but I could not fault the quality or the volumes. Service again, exemplary. Well dressed, polite and nothing seemed to much trouble. We were privileged to meet dad, who, whilst being the head chef, was also a thorough gentleman and I took this opportunity to thank him and his team for their efforts

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Hors d'oeuvres, poppadoms, mixed starters, then a huge, truly delicious naan! Lamb, yoghurt and mint was very nice too. I was pleasantly surprised to be presented with orange slices and hot flannels after the meal, as well as chocolate mints. Fantastic place

Really friendly, inviting service. The staff were very welcoming to my son, my friend, and I. The food is pretty good, but the downstairs room is somewhat dull of a space. All the same, really enjoyed our dinner here!

A true 💎 gem with a befitting name for a restaurant. Tables were beautifully set with white crisp table cloths and napkins/serviettes. We were warmly greeted by a staff member and promptly served with fresh gigantic poppadoms and chutney. The food was served piping hot, full of flavours and a good mix of spices. The serving crew who attended to us were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely return and also recommend this restaurant. I rated the ambience/atmosphere 4 stars because I thought that the lighting could’ve been better. One gesture we truly appreciated was that they provided reading glasses for their customers for their convenience. To summarise we appreciated their genuine interest in their patrons. Thank you for making our long day a treasured one.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here, with my family, mid last week. Each meal that we ordered was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. We eat out quite a lot, and sometimes our taste buds feel jaded. But not on this occassion. It was a wonderful dinner experience. Highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Very friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, fast service, reasonable prices and incredible food. Seated almost immediately and then we were welcomed by a delicious starter. Didn't have to wait long for the main meal either which was of very high quality. The waiter was very helpful when sharing his professional opinion on the meals, and helped give recommendations. When we were finished with our meals, we were given oranges, chocolates and freshly steamed towels. Pricing was adequate. Thank you very much. We will certainly be coming back.

We had a lovely time here for a work night out. The food was great and the service was very good. I would recommend this restaurant again. There was fresh chillis in my chicken madras which is really good and a sign of high quality. Some restaurants just use chilli powder. Great job!

I had the chicken biryani which was okay, but not cheap at just over £17. The nan bread was great! 2 bottles of sparking mineral water cost over £11. Service was efficient and friendly.

From the service to the tasty food, wow this place was a treat ! The wait staff was so kind & accommodating for our vegan needs. We even got steamed towels at the end and some oranges for dessert. Thank you so much for making an incredible experience for dinner. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants some delicious food, kind service, and an inviting atmosphere. A bonus was it was someone’s birthday and they were so sweet and sang happy birthday and had a cake. It made the place feel extra warm.

Great Food, great staff, good price, let me explain. This restaurant is off the main Street but well worth the extra five minute walk. The restaurant is a basement premises but is clean well appointed and well lit. The welcome warm and friendly, popodoms dips and pickles provided immediately then drinks order taken and finally after ample time to make a selection the food order taken. The food was served hot with portions that should satisfy all but the largest appetite. The balance of spices was perfect allowing each to come through on the palate. The staff were attentive, not intrusive. If I had one criticism the table top was so thickly laid with cloth I found it a little soft. Will I go back, yes.

I've been fortunate to have travelled all over the world and have eaten in some really good Indian restaurants, but I have to say this ranks up there with the best, whether its during week or at weekends, always the same, Easily my favourite restaurant in The old Granite city

Good food but have waited over 45 minutes the last two times i have been in.

First time visit and have to say their service and food where perfect. We had 3 very different dishes and they where all amazing.

Car park easy to find and before you turn off the engine you can smell the food being cooked and filtering through the air vents to welcome you. Service is faultless and the food is incredible. Lovely atmosphere and tasteful decor. Would recommend and book again.

Not enough stars to choose as 5 not enough. I've eaten in many places over the years but not one has ever made me go WOW with every bite until now. Just had a takeaway as a treat for my birthday, very disappointed have been to the restaurant for over 25 years food arrived 2 hour after ordering cold nan’s smells of disinfectant inedible To pay over £50 for a meal for two people and pay £4.00 for delivery just isn’t good enough.
