The first time I have tried take-away from here and it was AMAZING. The best Chinese I’ve had in a long time, I will definitely go there again! The food tasted so fresh and has put a big smile on my face.

Just ordered tonight (29th December) and it’s everything you want - arrived hot, didn’t wait too long, generous portions, tasty and they even gave us some bits on the house.

Wow have had some great chinese takeaway bit this really not good. Chicken fried rice basically boiled with a few bits if chicken and nothing else. Certainly not fried rice in any sense of the word. Chicken chow mein anemic to say the least. The only good point was the crispy duck pre done. Certainly on this never use again.

Tonight ordered, it was all horrible, chicken batter rubber hard preheated ,beef curry not nice, chicken chow mein not nice. Have had enough with plain bland disgusting salty takeaways, why can't any Southern English takeaway make decent food. miss good old fashioned,tasty normal food Chinese takeaway... even the pizza places down here, are small salty expensive rubbish.. anyway We Came to this Chinese, due to our local getting to salty,bland then closing. At first we were happy, good tasting food , brilliant portions&price&freebies. But over the past few years, it's been not as good, some days we discovered the food tastes better,so we tried to order only those days, they said same chef everyday?? The chicken dishes are all tasteless, we tried different 1s to find 1 worth it. Such a shame as so many our favourite, but we just can't get from here, as watery, bland here. The beef chow mein, another favourite we can't have from here ever! As tastes odd especially the beef sigh! But least the beef curry always good! No!! Because even recently past years so it's been days where it doesn't taste the same or as good. I do wish all Chinese takeaway s stop using so much salt, esp on their seaweed& in their won tons actually filings, not greasy crunchy batter.

Obviously caught them on a busy night, as I had trouble getting through on the phone, but despite this, our order arrived exactly as promised, and everything was piping hot and delicious. The receipt fell out of the bag as we were unpacking it, and the comment was "Is that all this lot cost?" Great value for money!

If u like onions with ur onions.... far too expensive for a bag of onions.. where was tha meat n veg?????

Pre ordered a birthday dinner to arrive at 7pm ..7.30 called 8pm after numeral chases food arrived semi warm Such a shame you’d think in the current climate they would want to wow

Food was excellent but they missed a part of the order. I was a little annoyed at first but mistakes happen and I’ve not had any issues in the past with this place. Lady on the counter is always very pleasant.

We work nightshift at the hospital and on our shift change we ordered a delivery from Jersey Farm Chinese.They were very kind and the meal was lovely. it was my colleges birthday and they took care in remembering the extras I asked for. real 5 star treatment. Thank you so much

Used for the first time tonight and won’t be using again. Food was bland,colourless & Greasy. The sweet and sour sauce was the worst I’ve ever tasted. The portions were very large and value for money.

Just finished our meal, was pleasantly surprised with the prompt service. The food was great value for money and quite delicious, with large servings. Only downside was that one of our meals had too much sauce, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu.

Got a takeaway last night and thought id try these guys out and did not disappoint! Lady on the phone was lovely and didnt have to wait too long for it to arrive. They also put a few free side dishes in our order aswell which was nice of them! Deffo will order again

Lovely women on the phone! Said 45 mins came in about 25 mins! Amazing food! even threw in a few freebies! Huge portions! I have enough for tomorrow too! Can’t wait to order again:)

Value for money, just be careful which dishes you choose, Noodles are great but lemon chicken is not. Great to have a delivery for an order over £12 and it arrived at the time suggested so happy with that.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I've ordered from here many many times and everything has been fantastic, every order. The tofu is, for me amazing, has a texture like no where else, I'm vegan and they are always happy to tell me whatever I need to know and adapt things where necessary, they are also willing to include/exclude a vegetable from a dish if you request it. I also ordered from them before being vegan and all the other dishes I had were incredible. My kids love the chicken balls, everyone that works there is polite and provides great customer service. I've tried many other chinese takeaways locally and there is simply no contest. I don't care about msg but they don't use it there for those that do, and the food isn't laden with oil, it's perfect. I have over 20 orders in my history and they are consistently excellent. I highly recommend this Chinese.

Can't understand people saying very good. It is not good at all! Very poor Chinese food, was ok some years back, not now.

So glad we took notice of the menu that dropped onto our mat earlier in the week. I read the quotes about ‘no MSG, low salt, less oil’ and thought we’d give it whirl. I’m pleased to say their claims are true! Delicious fresh crunchy veg in the rice. Tasty tofu main and the freebie spicy cabbage was crunchy tangy-tastic! Great to have a place prioritising vegetables and flavours over gloopy sauces. As a vegetarian it was refreshing to actually taste the carrot and broccoli not overpowered by salt and oil. Thank you Jersey Farm.

We have been looking for a good Chinese takeaway in the Harpenden area but didn’t find one. We came across this and the menu was extensive, you can order online and you receive a confirmation email and text when you order. Friendly and helpful staff - the lady rang me to inform me of the delivery time, very impressed! The food was soooo tasty and great portion sizes for the price. Will definitely be buying from here again.

Ordered from here as I was caring for my Grandfather for the evening and wanted to treat him. We had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for the food which was not very hot when it arrived. It was reasonably price but would not order again. The rice just came as a single lump squashed together and the lemon sauce was very thin but like water. So reasonable price but slow and average food.

Our usual chinese was closed so we gave Jersey Farm a try and were really glad we did. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous.

Enjoyed our Chinese would definitely return, food tasted fresh and you could tell there was no added msg

Nice food but one thing that I don't understand about the Kung po chicken . Kung po chicken cook with nut and dark soy sauce not red spicy with ginger 🤔

Casi ningún carne, verduras mixtas, incluso no sólo blanda col. El pollo y la carne de vacuno, el bateador era tan duro que apenas podía hincarle. Langostinos picantes no tenía sabor. Arroz y fideos eran el único buenos platos. Toda la carne era pobre. No pedir de nuevo aquí

Como nuestro habitual para llevar estaba cerrado, este fue el siguiente más cercano. Qué sorpresa tan agradable! Cada plato que pedimos estaba delicioso, y el precio era muy razonable. Elegimos para cobrar como Estábamos regresando de un viaje, y había pedido en línea por adelantado...

Ordenados casi 2 horas antes de la hora de entrega solicitada. Eran casi media hora tarde, cuando nos llamó para pedir que se rieron de nosotros y dijo que eran solo dejar. La comida estaba perfectamente bien, pero no vale la pena por este servicio.

Ordenados para la entrega que es gratis si pasas más de una cierta cantidad, pedimos un menú de Peking festín para 2 personas. Este fue entregado en menos de 30 minutos y todo era fresco y aún caliente, a pesar de estar a 10 minutos...

I have lived local to this Chinese for about 15 years and only very recently tried it out. The reason I have only just tried it out is that I always thought it looked a bit tired and being honest a touch "grimy" - my daughter, who is obviously not as fussy as I am, was the first member of the family to place an order and what was presented was really very good, so much so that I have started using it.We have since placed a few orders and the food has always been consistently good and tasty.So to the owners - spend some serious money and smarten up your shop, take down the tired old photo's of food and move forward. There is a lot of money in this area, your food is good but I suspect like myself many others walk by your shop.

first and probably last time I'll order from here. Poor quality food, kebab boxes mainly consisted of Salad and minimal meat. This place doesn't compare to the other takeaways in the area. Guess the objective was not to gain returning customers.

This is my regular Chinese and every meal i have had from there has been hot fresh tasting and great value. My particular favourite is the Thai rice a thing of beauty!Portion sizes are generous and no negative experiences in over two years of use now.

It arrived within 30mins of ordering. Great you might think - but sadly there was no way it could have been freshly prepared and delivered in that time. The chicken in the kebabs was dry and clearly reheated - the burger had a brown dehydrated coating around the edge and the chips had clearly been reheated. A car crash of a meal - never again!

Delivered on the dot, burgers were okay. The chicken Donner however was just full of fat and just tasted like water. I have had it before and it was good but this time was very bad I'm afraid.

We've used Jersey Farm Chinese Takeaway on many occasions. Food is great (MSG free) and delivery service always speedy with food arriving hot!

The burger patties were over cooked and lacked sauce. However, the chicken kebab was moist and tasty. Garlic mayo not provided as requested, instead plain, but tasty all the same. Chips arrived in polystyrene containers, making them soggy but they were hot. I'd certainly order a chicken kebab from them again, especially as the delivery was prompt and friendly.

The food was wonderful but delivery service was very rude. I ordered food for 6pm but it was delivered early and was spoken to very rudely. I paid for the food and just got grunted at.

delivery guy was incredibly rude. told us that next time he has to take the stairs, he would take the food back, and we can pick it up from the store. he probably drives fast though.... fairly good delivery time

Very disappointed with my order! Ordered two large doner kebabs, size came in small compared to other places. Not only that it wasn't much, food quality itself was below average. It looked dry and uncooked! After few bits I threw it away. It also didnt smell very nice. Probably not fresh. Not impressed!

We had shish kebabs from here, they were absolute delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and the was tonnes of salad which was very fresh. Will definitely be ordering from here again, best kebab I've ever had.
