We always love it here. The food is amazing.

Not good. The chicken butter masala lacks flavor Chili paneer needs better coating for paneer Naan and paratha were raw.

Food is always fresh and tastes just like home cooked!!

We went with whole family of 9 people. We ordered many dishes. Not one dish was nice. Biriyani was awful too much spicy. 6 peoples stomach was upset for next couple of days after eating food here. The server who took care of was very bad. She gave attitude and treated us badly. I would never go here in my life

I ordered 3 items to go and all of them were uncooked or cooked partially. Did not enjoy the experience at all. It was my first time there and definitely the last. Tried calling management to address this but was offered no good response.

The food and service was excellent! I was happy to see that they now have an express lunch! The buffet looked delicious, but I stood by my favorite, lamb korma. The only issue- the acoustics is not great - much louder than it should be. Will go back!

My dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to Jenifer's rude and neglectful service. She forgot about our table, failed to refill drinks, and ignored our attempts to get her attention, while seemingly prioritizing others, particularly those who were white. Thankfully, another staff member, Bryson, eventually stepped in to assist. Unfortunately, the overall poor service leaves me with no intention of returning. I was visiting a family member and heard this restaurant was top tier, yet I was again sadly disappointed.

I ordered a Lamb methi with vegetable rice and okra The lamb Methi was outstanding The okra was outstanding The veg rice had proper vegetables in and not that rubbish from a bag of frozen tiny chopped muck If you want decent Indian then go here.

We've been going to Zeera for years and have enjoyed it, but this last visit left a sour taste (2/23). We were there with friends and appeared to be the last patrons there. The waitress seemed none too happy to wait on us, but the service was good as usual. However, when 9:00pm rolled around someone from the back asked for dishes and our waitress grabbed all 4 of our waters (fingers down in the glasses) so there was nothing left on the table. We checked the time and it was 9:02. I get that you want to close, but that doesn't mean you make the people who are left in the restaurant feel uncomfortable. It had the feeling like there was no adult running the place. And I'm serious when I say that the waitstaff was out the door right behind us. Just seemed ridiculous.

Haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. Excellent food and service. Very open facility, so it can be noisier / less intimate than I'd like for a dinner out with my wife, but that is the ONLY negative I can think of.

One of the two places as of now(Feb 2024) in fuquay varina that serves Indian Food but it seems for a reason I did not see any Indian here coming for food. The reason being the food has literally no flavors of India and it is a scam in the name of Indian food. It is important to let all Americans know that what you get here is not true authentic Indian food (rather nowhere near it). I am typing this will I am here eating in the restaurant and being an Indian, am super disappointed with the quality of food here. Restaurant staff, ambiance all good but we go to restaurants primarily for food.

Just the most incredible flavor and totally delicious. I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world including India and this was the best. So happy to find this place.

Visiting family in Fishguard and we all decided that Monday night was curry night. It was the first time there for us all and we were certainly not disappointed! From the excellent poppadoms, chutneys, (including the homemade tomato based chutney - wow!) to the different curries we all chose, everything was superb. Best biryani I've had anywhere. Lovely service. Can't wait to go back.

After 20 minutes waiting my Order to go, I had to leave because they and my Order got lost.

Takeaway. King prawn biryani contains about 2 prawns cut up into small pieces that you could miss. Accompanied vegetable curry is tasteless. Onion bhajis are greasy and small. Really overpriced for poor food. Poppdums are nice

This place are the worst place to dinner in the food are not cook by Indian people an the owner are very rude to employees an customers I will never never eat here again at all.... The owner don't like black people to dinner with her. She hate blacks I heard her talking about black people to her employees..

It's little busy but all good food and service.

The resto customer target is local non-Indian, the taste seems westernized and a lot of order to go and the customer who eat in the resto none of them from India. Ordered lamb Britain n mango lassi.. taste so-so..

It was okay. Certainly not the worst I've ever had, but far from the best. I went with the Roganjosh chicken. The flavor was good, though the chicken wasn't nice whole white meat pieces like I would prefer. Kind of like the scrap ends of pieces. The rice was. Ice and fluffy. My server wasn't the greatest, either. Rather unattentive. I may give them another try. I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving it a try. It could have just be an off day.

This was my first time eating here & I was very impressed by the variety of options on their buffet. The seasonings weren't overpowering & cooked thoroughly. I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if it's your first time trying Indian Food.

I don’t understand the high reviews. The food is totally bland, no flavor or spice. If people think this is a best Indian food can be, they haven’t had truly delicious Indian food. Try Lime & Lemon.

*Roaches* This was my first experience with Indian food and my friend highly recommended this place. But unfortunately dinner did not go as planned. The waitress was very sweet and helpful with choosing something for a first timer. But during dinner I noticed a bug on the wall under the from window, that I thought maybe was a fly that came in the door. But 10 minutes later there was a ROACH on my table! And we got the waitress over who saw it herself and then immediately got the manager The manager was completely aware of the roach problem and said that they did have pest control. Then she left. Later came back and offered to comp one meal. I was pretty calm despite feeling sick to my stomach about all of this. I have no plans of ever returning, as I don't think it was handle properly despite me trying to be discreet in the restaurants benefit as there is clearly a roach infestation here.

Everything was amazing. The flavors and level of heat. Was fantastic. I ordered for pick up from DoorDash. The food was still finger tip burning hot when we returned home. I Highly recommend.

Okay fusion Indian food place with great ambiance. Exorbitant prices for okaish food for an Indian palate. Spiciness added was only by red chilli powder. Have had way better Indian food at other places. But this is an only option for Indian food in Fuquay for a decent seat in restaurant. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Chilli prawns for appetizer which were okay and gets 3* For lunch we had daal tadka 4*, butter chicken 2*, navratan kurma 4*, veg jalfrezi 4*. Garlic naan gets 1* from me. It was like a roti with no fluff for a naan and too small for a naan. Tandoor roti was good and gets 4* They were understaffed for a weekend afternoon. Staff were not very attentive. Spacious with good distance between tables. Ample parking in the front.

Outstanding. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. I went twice while visiting last week. The first time I tried a curry dish and thew second time I had their fried rice. The Naan is awesome as well. I cannot say enough and plan to return

Fine dining atmosphere with a casual vibe. All food made to order, so be patient. Even appetizers are made to order. All dishes spiced according to your heat preference.

Amazing food!!!! We’ve eaten lots of Indian food and this is certainly one of the best. The chef even came out to ask whether we enjoyed it. We most definitely did. We did the banquet evening. Starter, main and rice or nan. We couldn’t fault it. Unfortunately we live in Plymouth, too far too make this our local. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Thank you.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered two appetizers the food quantity was horrible for the price what i paid and food taste was not that great. Don't recommend going there next time.

The Butter Masala is so delicious I had to come back to enjoy it again! Ordered the medium spice level and was happy. It had a kick to it, but wasn’t so hot that your nose runs. Their naan is also good. Tried both the garlic naan and the garlic cheese naan.

The food was so so yummy!! The medium spice chicken curry was pretty spicy! So if you’re sensitive to that I’d get the mild. I didn’t mind but it did stop me from eating it as fast as I would’ve liked to!

Lovely restaurant. Prawn South Indian was fabulous. Had a lovely chat with the friendly waiter. Would highly recommend although they do not stock alcohol.

hello. we were staying in Newport fir a week and the last night we decided to hsve an odisn as a treat for us. we spent 39.00 something which in the current climate is a lot of money..anyways the first thing o had to wait longer than I was told, I appreciate ur busy but I should have been told a more accurate time. The second thing I couldn't find the barjes, as normally barjes are round. I phoned and firstly I was told I'd have a refund then told to pop in, I said I would the next day, I didn't as its 20 minute away and was busy with other stuff. anyways we found the barjes, however they were disguising and hard the korma hardly had any meet in it anx the maylain which i had ordered was like a korma. I've had a maylian many times, this was not a maylian, which i feel I was given a korma on the pretense that I wouldn't know. my guests didn't eat there's as it was bad,and put then off, the chips, which were fries were hard. very disappointed with all of it. finally not that u expect extra but with nearly 40 pounds not even a popdom. I will not be returning or recommend u again. just so u know. I will put review online too

Food was tasty. Service was very chaotic. There were not enough front of house staff on duty and the one that was on duty was prioritising taking take away phone orders rather than taking the orders for the tables waiting to be served in the restaurant. We waited close to 25 mins for a member of staff to come and take out drinks order.

Excellent service and food. Restaurant was reasonably busy, takeaway was very busy - it was only a Monday evening! We turned up on the off chance and got a table for 5. They have soft drinks but if you want alcohol bring your own. Great meal, will return.

Me and Partner are here in Fishguard for two weeks and we really fancied an Indian. Hot chilli is the only Indian in Fishguard so we went and booked a table. We were a little late, my partner apologised but it wasn't a problem. So we sat down wad greeted by a lovely man (Forgot his name) very chatty 😂. He looked after us and all the people dining. We where then told we can bring our own alcohol ( me and my partner thought wow, how bizarre!) So we did the honorable thing and brought some cobras 🤣. We tucked into the poppadoms and chutneys ( I love tamarind sauce ) was so tasty! Did have slight issues with the order but that wad rectified within minutes. All in all lovley place, lovely staff and will be back. Thankyou for the laughter and even tastier food. 👍🏻🫶

I found this place to be a Joke.I went after reading reviews on Google, but obviously those reviews came from people who have not had a proper made Indian meal . Never been to a India restaurant where they have run out of onion bargi at seven o'clock in the evening.Cooking was so bad, the worst I've had.To top it all no drink licence either . Honestly save your money.

This is one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. The owners greeted us when we entered, they were both polite and friendly. We were given time to choose from the menu, our food was cooked and served quickly. The nan bread was amazing, along with everything else. I highly recommend and we will definitely go back next time we're in Fishgaurd.

We called in early on a Monday evening to order a takeaway but on arrival we were advised that they would be happy for us to eat in and that having our dog with us would not be a problem. We ordered popadoms and pickles while we chose our main meal. Once ordered I popped over to the Co-op next door to buy some drinks as the restaurant is not licensed. My chicken tikka dupiaza was really tasty. My wife ordered a chicken balti and enjoyed it very much. We also shared a large portion of mushroom pilau rice and a naan bread both were excellent. Our dog enjoyed the popadoms and naan as well! The staff bagged up the left over naan for us to take home for the dog without even being asked. Very friendly people offering a good service at s reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

We took a chance on our holiday to eat here and we are so glad we did! Fast, friendly service and extremely tasty food. We go to a lot of curry houses back home and honestly, this was up there with the top on taste. Thank you, we will be back. Be sure to pop into Co-op opposite for wine and bring your own as they don't sell alcohol.

The food is absolutely delicious, so fresh and tasty and light in the belly! They are such great cooks and so warm and inviting as people. They are nice people to chat with too and make one feel comfortable. It’s also incredibly good value for what they serve. The naan is fresh too and the poppadoms. I highly recommend eating here or getting a take-away to please your tastebuds and to fill up on high quality good food.

Poppadoms were nice. Biryani huge and brown - nothing fragrant or subtle about that. Tandoori mixed grill - chewy lamb (to be fair it seems to be everywhere) and tandoori chicken so over-cooked it was disintegrating to powder on one side and inedible.

Excellent food and good service.

The food is good I can’t complain on that however, the service is horrible. It feels like I’m in the walking dead. The servers don’t speak nor greet upon arrival. We got there 145 and they told us order everything now pretty much kitchen closed at 215. Only person that said a word was the guy that ran the food out. Staff needs some manners or need to address working in hospitality industry. Then rushing us out at 220. We paid the bill and just finished our meal.

First time Indian food and fell in love

Fuquay gem! Great food and wonderful service. The portions are massive, so what friends and I usually do is order 2 or 3 entrees and split them. Highly recommend giving this one a visit even if you’ve never had Indian food - they will guide you and you can order dishes mild to very spicy based on your preference. We went for lunch, and the service was great and food came out quickly. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I am a bit shocked at the number of 5 stars this restaurant gets. I recently moved from the Morrisville area so I've eaten and thoroughly enjoyed lots of Indian food both at restaurants and home cooked. I can honestly say this was the most flavorless Indian food I've ever eaten - ever. The dishes even looked watery or thinned out. The prices were that of a higher end restaurant but the food does not reflect this at all. The odd thing is the food is edible and the taste isn't bad per se - it just doesn't taste like anything at all which is highly unusual for this type of cuisine. Lots of better choices in Cary/Morrisville.

2nd time visiting and the food was great. My only issue is that their service is a big slow. We went on a Sunday as they opened and we're one of two couples in the restaurant and it took about 20 minutes for our food to come out. Reminded me of the 1st visit. If you don't mind the wait, you will not be disappointed, their food is delicious.

Our meal was delicious and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Zeera to those who love Indian food and those who would be trying for the first time. We enjoyed Samosas with plum sauce, malai kofta and palak paneer. The restaurant is very spacious and well layed out. There is a good amount of space between tables. We were so excited about food we forgot to take pictures before we dug in.

Too me Desi inspired food is 50/50. Either the spices are off, or the protein is dry. Zeera does it the RIGHT WAY! Spices are where they need to be, the proteins are cooked, and infused with the flavors, and moist! Naan was the right consistency,and the garlic and Rosemary additions were just right! Definitely a great little spot. The prices are WELL BELOW other places, which is great!!

Ordered here last night. They informed us that the chicken butter masala had cashews in it, and I have a severe allergy. The girl on the phone said that they wouldn’t put any in, and when we got the receipt it had a large “NO NUTS” written on it. Long story short I took a taste to find the entire container had cashews mixed into it. I had a severe reaction and spent the rest of the night absolutely miserable. Please avoid this place if you have allergies of any sort.

Eating at this establishment has been one of my worst dining experiences! If I could give it a "0" rating I would. Let me start by saying that I am of Indian decent and have been raised on Indian food. I am certain I am qualified to tell the difference between common Indian food and actual restaurant grade food. First however, in all honesty there is nothing wrong with food at this establishment. It is perfectly edible and probably nutritious. The major problem I have with this establishment is that the food offered (Or at least the dish I ordered, Chicken Curry) Was very common tasting as if an unprofessional and untrained chef had prepared it. Certainly, not worth the $17.00 I am relatively new to NC but have visited a few different Indian restaurants such as Bawarchi in Apex, priced very similarly but the quality and taste far exceed that of Zeera. In my personal opinion the owner of Zeera is offering very common sub-par home prepared food and charging customers premium restaurant prices. Not to mention, offering very small portion sizes. Manipulating the general local fan base who most likely does not know the difference. This is easy to do if you do not have much competition in the area. There is a lack of Indian restaurants in NC as a whole. However, that does not mean that an establishment should take advantage of it's patron's due to the lack of local competing restaurants and the knowledge base of it's patrons (Or the lack of) Most diners that frequent Zera probably have very limited knowledge about quality Indian food to begin with (Which Zeera takes full advantage of) The next time you are seeking a fine dining experience and Indian/Pakistani food is what you crave, checkout Kababish, in Cary. They are also similarly priced but you will have a much more satisfying dining experience with about the same out of pocket cost. So, my message to the owner of Zeera is to leave the amateur-ly prepared home-style food where it belong, at home!

Had a wonderful time with my family for my daughter's birthday. The atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. Our server, John, was patient, helpful and attentive. The food...I mean what can I say? It's Zeera. If you've eaten there, you know. If you haven't, you owe to yourself to find out. You won't be disappointed.

It's a below average indian restaurant because of the taste of the food and quantity. Serving was not done sensibly as it should be with serving appetizers and then the main course. Whatever was ready was being served at the moment. Honestly being from the capital of India and being a foodie. I can clearly say the food is not the buck. The restaurant really needs to improve in a lot of aspects. Just being a sole Indian restaurant in Fuquay Varina is the advantage.

SLLLOOOOW!!! Like take out and delivery just go ahead and estimate a three hour wait. No embellishment 3 hours for either of those. The food taste is a solid four stars though so I continue to eat it. Just order dinner at lunch if it’s for more than 3 people.

I am from North of India and I know the spices and food. I am vegetarian. So whatever I am writing, writing from my experience of taste of North India cuisine. On New year's eve, we dined there and we did not have a good experience. I went there with lot of expectations but came out having a bad experience. First of all, food being served there is an Americanized version of India food. I can understand there position. 99% Non-Indian families were dining there so it made sense from business point of view. We order Samosa chat and it was 3/5, as I already stated, it was American version of real Samosa Chat. Then in main course we ordered, Paneer Tikka Masala and Daal Makhani (buttered Whole lentils). 1. Daal Makhani was average. Not cooked properly. 2. Paneer Tika Masala was horrible actually. It is $16 dish but if you see the quantity, it was not work 5$. one family cannot eat that. And, top of that Paneer was so hard and chewy, it was literally as if you were chewing the rubber. Then the actual game changer came, failure wise. We ordered a Laccha Paratha (Multi-layered whole wheat bread, lightly buttered.) and Naan ( Plain traditional clay oven baked bread.) When Laccha Paratha and Naan were served, we could not make a difference between both(See the first photo, If you can make a difference between the breads, please leave your comment). Both looked same and raw and not cooked properly. they were not near to what they should have looked like. Look at the actual photos. We asked the server and she confirmed that they are not what they are supposed to look like. they took back and then brought new ones and they were also same. Then the server confirmed that Chef did not know how to cook them and he made it somehow. Question is that if you do not have a chef who can cook them, why would you have them on your menu to begin with. We could not eat them and then server took them out of the final bill. Overall, the server, Emma, was so nice to us that did pay good tip to her, even though we had a bad experience on New Year's eve. We did not want to ruin a good service form her. I would not recommend this place, not because I had a bad experience, but due the Americanized version if India food they are serving. And I was so disappointed with the quality of food, On new year, I decided to cook both dishes and had actual fun. Please the second photo. This is how the Laccha Parantha should look like.

Me my husband and 5 people went here and the waiter is amazing he is the kindest most caring waitress I've met in a while I definitely give the food a 5 star if I could give them a 100 stars I would!!
