I recently visited Jamaica Blue and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed while I enjoyed my time there. I ordered a cappuccino and I can honestly say it was the nicest cup of coffee I have ever had. Overall, I highly recommend Jamaica Blue if you're looking for a pleasant place to unwind whilst enjoying a great cup of coffee. My friends and I really enjoy our time here. The staff are delightful, we all enjoy the various coffees and pastries.

We enjoyed the most delicious breakfast this morning. Food was hot and plenty of it. My husband hadn't eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Compliments to the chef, we'll definitely be back. A pot of tea made 3 cups of tea so more than enough for one person and had a lovely taste to it. Thanks again and we'll see you soon.

The coffee was lukewarm and extremely overpriced for the size of the cup. Charged 60p extra for oat milk!! £8.40 for 2 tiny flat whites!!! The fabric on the chairs was absolutely filthy, really stained yuk! All in all definitely won’t be going there again

We sat at a table today and the upholstery on the seats were very stained. It looked very unpleasant. I mentioned it to the staff who cleared the table , she just smiled ? The coffee was very nice , however my sister had to pay an extra 60p for oat milk , I thought that was a bit steep ? Sadly won’t return or recommend. Refurbishing needed !

Today i had Chicken Souvlaki and Hot honey Hallumi both with fresh naan bread. So tasty, so yummi so good. I love it. And red valve cake with double espresso make my day. Thank you Jamaica blue, see you again

Yesterday i visit your place and we had the best Chicken Souvlaki in the town. Perfect balance between tzatziki sauce and perfect grilled chicken with fresh, hot and super tasty naan bread. After that amazing food with beautiful coffee, we got pistachio cheesecake and raspberry cake.... 1 word... TOP.

Appalling, ordered a chicken Slovaki , which is chicken breast on a skewer. We got brown slivers of meat which looked like bacon. My husband does not eat bacon and didn’t touch it. The manager said these slivers were chicken snd dismissed me like I came in on her shoe! We were three times a week regulars, never again!

Delicious food especially the vegan salted caramel cheesecake. So pleased this establishment offers alternative eating requirements and lists allergens/intolerances clearly in their descriptions. Customer Service really good here too. My only gripe was that, although the table was cleared when we asked, it wasn't cleaned. With flu being rife at the moment, it make sense to clean tables hence a star being knocked off.

This is our go to place for a fabulous breakfast on what is now a regular occurance. Staff lovely, food lovely and the best coffee ever. Highly recommended. 💕

First time visit but not really great for a lunch treat. Very limited simple menu. No frills such as side garnish. Cappuccino was nice and hot but I wouldn't count it as good value for money or worth a revisit. Staff were pleasant.

The other day, I went to Jamaica Blue for the first time, and it was brilliant! The staff are extremely friendly and appreciative. If someone asked me to suggest a café then I would say Jamaica Blue without hesitation! The price is perfect for the quality of the food and drinks. I had a great experience at Jamaica Blue! The coffee was absolutely amazing – rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. It’s easily one of the best cups I’ve had in a while. The service was also top-notch. Jarka was so nice and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. She was attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the overall atmosphere. Yes I have been there for my breakfast was delicious and so amazing staff looking after me very nicely and specially Girl Jarka but it’s all are amazing there

The food is always lovely and fresh. Really varied cakes/bagels/ciabatta’s. They clearly put effort into their menus. Staff are super friendly and always smile/chat with my little girl. Been here numerous times now and it’s always a high standard.

Got served by Mital whose the manager and she is so lovely always helpful and makes really nice coffees my favourite is Flat white Highly recommend this place.

We ordered 2 portions of 3 banana pancakes, and also regular pancakes with maple syrup. They were very fluffy and light and came out warm. The sweetness of the maple syrup works well with the soft pancakes. After, I went to ask who made the pancakes, it was Nisha. I highly recommend Jamaica Blue to anyone, and I definitely recommend the pancakes for breakfast and brunch. 😊

Just ate a very simple chicken ceasar salad but it was the best I've EVER tasted (I've eaten a few) very very good quality!

My fiancée and I have dined in at this cafe a number of times and the food is great every time. What was particularly notable was the great attitude of the staff, never failing to answer questions and give recommendations. The friendliness of the staff and the general atmosphere of the cafe is what keeps us returning again and again.

Ate here for the first time recently, loved the food so so much. There is a wide variety of vegetarian options, including so many drink options too. Reasonable prices and top notch quality, great atmosphere overall alongside lovely service.

Okay let's start with pure facts 1 big breakfast and 1 scrambled egg on toast with a bite size portion of chips and two drinks 40 quid ... If that isn't overpriced for what I have in front of me let's talk about the quality of said food Big breakfast- sausage I must say was nice and hot, bacon come out cold, beans came out cold, egg came out cold, A simple scrambled egg on toast- all cold to the touch the lack of any seasoning such a salt or pepper on the table left me feeling that McDonald's would have been a better choice If your looking for pastrys and drinks Costa is opposite If your looking for hot food M and S have you covered for shockingly a smaller price for a higher quality taste ... Or at this point the Sainsbury's opposite would be better Safe to say I will not be returning but am looking forward to the reply from this company telling me how I'm wrong and that there mediocre breakfasts are popular

I came here with my family for breakfast. Once we arrived, we was greeted immediately by staff. We sat down and decided to order 2 Big Brekkies and Pancakes for the kids with 2 lattes and 2 hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, with fantastic service. The shop's atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The food came on time, still hot. The plates had great presentation and they were delicious. The coffee was excellent, rich and flavoursome, the hot chocolate being luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and drinks. I highly recommend Jamaica Blue (Hempstead Valley) and I will definitely be coming back for more.

Good service excellent coffee nice atmosphere

I decided to go fir breakfast here today, but quickly changed my mind. Th four tables that I walked up to in turn were all dirty with coffee/ tea stains and crumbs. When I told the staff all I got was a raised eyebrow and no word of apology. Their loss, I would have been spending over £30 in there on breakfast and drinks.

Visited Jamaica Blue recently and left thoroughly disappointed. While the venue itself was clean with nice decor, and the staff were pleasant enough, the food was a huge letdown, especially considering the price. First off, the food was incredibly expensive for what it was. I had the Korean BBQ, which was drenched in so much BBQ sauce that it overpowered any other flavours. I the chicken was bland and the chips were cheap, undercooked, and soggy, leaving much to be desired. My smoothie was the only redeeming factor, but at nearly £6, it certainly wasn’t worth it. My partner’s traditional breakfast was subpar and honestly tasted worse than what you’d get at Wetherspoons. We ended up paying just under £40, which is ridiculous given the poor quality and lack of flavor in the food. To make matters worse, the smell of cooking clung to our clothes for the rest of the day. Overall, the high prices and low quality of food make this a place I wouldn't recommend or return to. There are far better options out there for the same, if not less, money.

I would not recommend this place. It is very overpriced for portion sizes and the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is not well ventilated as myself and my party smelled of the cooking for the rest of the day. The staff were neither bad or overly pleasant. If you’re just going there for a pastry and a hot drink, then it serves a purpose (if you can’t get into a Costa or starbucks) but as couple of people for a sit down meal then I’d give this a wide birth as it’s a complete waste of money. Very disappointed and we will not be going back.

We always visit this café when shopping in Hempstead Valley. The coffee is lovely, always hot and the cake we usually treat ourselves too is very tasty. It is clean in there, not too crowded and staff very friendly.

Definitely the best coffee shop in Hampstead Valley. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Chef Nisha did tasty and well presented Chicken tikka ciabatta and Yorkshire Gurus and Ritika made sure we are fully happy on the table. My sister and I met up at Jamaica Blue in Hempstead Valley last Sunday. I can honestly say that the breakfasts that we ordered were heavenly! There had been such a great choice on the menu, that it was tough to make a decision. We decided to order one of each of our top choices and we had half each. The staff were very friendly - Grace, Shauna, Scarlet and Grace. They were helpful, friendly, professional and very well-turned out. I felt like I had just stepped into a Jamaican Top Class bistro. Thank you ladies, really, really loved my 1 hr 30 mins catch up with my Sis and this was mostly down to such lovely staff, customer service was second to none and I felt 'at home'. The food was del-ic-ious :)
