Jade garden has always been a good Chinese , unfortunately the same cannot be said this time x food took 1.5 hrs and arrived cold , called to complain and was told a new order would be sent on next order . Another 45 minutes wait and the new order cold again . Very little meat in special fried rice

Special fried rice was tasteless, the chicken in it seemed hard and warmed back up. Chips seemed preheated . Guess that's what you get going there before 6pm warmed up food from previous night. Well thats what it tasted like.Chicken balls were nice and fresh tho. Use to be the best Chinese around. Last twice I've been there this year very poor...Won't be returning...

Left items out of order twice, noticed my order has prawns ignored notes about no prawns due to allergies, then refuse to answer the call to resolve the issue. Not good

Tasteless and looked terrible, delivery was over three hours late even tho we had pre-booked a delivery, terrible attitude on the delivery driver, not even an apology from the takeaway for being so late. If I could give no stars I definitely would.

Food was not fresh. Chips had been reheated and prawn crackers were soft and hard. Sweet and sour sauce was bland. Very disappointed!

I have used jade Garden for years. I'm live away from pontyclun but return home once a month. Every visit alway get a Chinese from jade Garden. I have not been to jade Garden in a couple of mo the for various reasons but able to get there tonight as bit was on my mind coming down the M4. I don't know what has happened there, new owners maybe but my food tonight was tastless not pleasant and the beef was not eight. The chow mein was mot a chow mein. It was was dry, no juice jus horrible. Best part of the meal was the prawn crackers. After tonight I won't be going there again. Shame though as .praised it for years and one bad experience has killed it for me.

Been a loyal customer for 20 years! Imagine my daughters 10 th birthday no lettuce rolls turned up .. called up they resent them with no lettuce . Rang back up after 1.5 hrs to be told by Wayne who works there I need to understand problems my little girl had no food whilst I rang for a refund to be told ok we’ll collect all the food how unbelievably shocking!!! And to be charged a extra £2.30 for there mix up! After tonight jade garden you have lost a hood handful of customers all from having the wrong staff.. and ruining my little ones cinema family night with a Chibese

Not worth any star’s. Wait 2hrs for food and when they get here they only try the back gate, so take the food back to the restaurant. Didn’t have the intelligence to walk around to the front of the house and knock the door! Rang them and the cocky little girl on the phone was blaming us and that if we wanted the food we would either have to pick up or pay £3 delivery again. Will never use them again, absolutely disgusting service. Shame on you!!!!

First time that I've used Jade Garden and was impressed by both the quality and service. My only criticism if you call it one, was that I found the Beef/ginger had to many onions but otherwise 5 stars.

Prompt delivery, food delivered was hot and tasted wonderful. Very polite delivery man. Would definitely order again!

Continue to visit Jade Garden as they produce excellent vegan produce. Huge portions and extremely tasty food, with a fantastic variety, any meal can be made to a vegan recipe. Bean curd dishes outstanding. Time scales excellent, if they say ten minutes they mean ten minutes.

Just ordered a takeaway over their website. Arrived pretty quick and ordering on the website was straightforward. We ordered a Thai green curry king prawn and veg Singapore noodles. Really impressed with this, I wasn't expecting the Thai green curry to be great the curry was actually quite authentic and tasted lovely. Apparently the noodles were nice too. Will definitely be ordering again!

Horrendous! Ordered a simple three item meal. They have been our go-to and usually know me and my addresses. Not an issue so gave them the details but its a first for us in many, many years and unusual. I didn’t recognise the server. They delivered incorrect food and so I called them right away. They offered to replace it if we would wait for two hours. I said I couldn’t wait that long and what arrived is unsuitable. “Owner” said she would replace it if I could collect. I explained that I wasn’t confident driving because I had a glass of wine and that’s why I paid for delivery. She said I must be the blame, I must have ordered incorrectly because I had wine! It was too much hassle for a basic sweet and sour pork and rice! I am disappointed. In one conversation she destroyed 20 years of loyal custom because she argued over a mistake they made that would cost them pence to rectify! Food never came.

I don't know what's happened to this place. It's awful now. Been ordering from them for years but lately orders not right, not enough meat in orders (loads of onions to fill the container), and snarky service. It's sad that we won't order again, because they were our top takeaway once...

Food has always been good but the service and attitude has been ready awful as of late. Food arrived on time and hot but was incorrect. When asked for the correct meal the owner said it was unlikely to arrive for several hours despite being a 5 minute drive away. Had I not been on medication I would have collected it. The server was rude and made excuses. I won't be ordering again.

Was quite disappointed this time. We often use Jade Garden when we order a Chinese as the food is always lovely and also hot by the time it arrives. New years eve I pre ordered the meal for 6pm that evening. Pre ordered to ensure we wouldn't have to wait and we would definitely get our food at the specified time. 6.15pm arrived and I had not received my oder, so I went online to check the status of my order, it was only now being prepared. 6.30 arrived and still no order so I tried contacting the shop to ask where was, after numerous calls, nobody answered. We eventually had the meal at 7.15pm, and it was all cold. I'll be staying away from Jade Garden for a while as I was extremely disappointed.

Lovely food prompt service and online ordering to boot.

This used to be one of the best Chinese Take Aways. The Honey Dew Spare Ribs were excellent. The new Honey Spare Ribs were full of fat. The good thing about them is they still take orders early so they deliver when they open, but they still only accept cash.

Highly recommend any other Chinese!Ordered at 18:20 told hour and half for delivery seeing how its saturday thats fine! But then it didnt turn up till 21:35 asked for egg fried rice gave us boiled asked for chicken balls no chciken balls! More salt in the bbq sauce than in the ocean!!

Egg fried rice had just two small pieces of egg. Chicken balls were sodden with oil and were really horrible to eat. Other items we ordered were also really poor standard. Won’t be ordering again.

We visit this wonderful restaurant every few weeks and have never had a bad meal.Staff are both friendly and attentive.

Have come here a few times and every time there was an issue. Tonight popped in and specifically asked for an ingredient not to be purposely added. Kid behind the counter didn’t even want the custom. Left and went to order at another establishment.

I am really gutted that this Chinese has been taken under new ownership. Since it has opened in the new hands I ordered a Chinese which came late and was cold and the meat was awful. I spoke to the lady over the phone and explained how bad my meal had been, she then said that she would make a note on the system and put a credit on my account so I thought that was fair enough and even though I was disappointed I would of returned to see if they were just having a bad day. I then spoke to the same lady this evening and explained that she said she had made a note on the system and asked if I could deduct it from my order, she told me she had no recollection of saying it and there was no note to say. I wouldn’t lie over something so silly but to be told I’m a liar on the phone when she was the person who offered me the money back next time was an absolute joke. Won’t ever be going there again, it’s already gone so downhill horrible food and not very nice staff!!

I called in here on the off chance (because my usual Chinese takeaway was closed) and have to say, I was pleasantly pleased. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming and able to recommend a few dishes and answer a handful of questions about what was in some of the meals (fussy eaters back home with very specific dietary requirements). I ordered a fair bit of food at the time (because their was a crowd of us) and the other thing I distinctly remember is that it wasn't particularly expensive and even better, I wasn't waiting for long before it was all ready. It was all ready to take away within about 15 minutes of ordering and when I got home, it was all still hot and everyone agreed, all very tasty indeed. In summary, I'd definitely recommend. 👍

Only ordered egg fried rice and red curry sauce and ended up with boiled rice and a different curry. I had to repeat my self several times as the woman on the counter was to busy chatting. Think she wants to do her job better, first time there and last time I'll b there

As the title says this place has changed ownership in the past few months. First meal with the new proprietors. Excellent, slightly different, but excellent. Bean Curd dishes cooked to perfection, rice as it should be and noodles bang on the money. Under £20 provides more than enough for two hungry vegetarians. Will certainly continue to use as its the best place for Bean Curd dishes by far and trust me I've tried numerous local establishments within a ten-mile radius over the past few months.

I keep reviewing this place on a very regular basis due to the high quality of their food. Ive never had a dish thats remotely average! As a vegetarian its often hard to find anything other than the traditional dish, ie curried veg. But not here! Tofu (Bean Curd) dishes are second to none, cooked fresh with massive chunks of Curd in a high quality sauce. It really is excellent and has become our reliable go to Take Away for under £20.

From a vegetarian / vegan perspective, Tofu (Bean Curd) is an essential when eating Asian food. This place cooks the best Tofu I have ever eaten and they even do "bespoke" dishes upon request! First time I had food from here it was not good, really oily and the noodles weren’t ate with how bad they tasted. Thought it was just a bad night so tonight we thought we’d try again. Even worse than the first night, the egg fried rice had a horrible smell to it the pancake roll was probably the worst thing I’ve tasted in a long time along with the chicken and fried rice there was black bits in it I couldn’t even figure out what they were. Anyways, that was the last “meal” I’ll ever have from there. Disgusting.

Reviewed Jade Garden recently, but feel the need to do again. This is based on the wonderful takeaway meals I have experienced over the past three months. Being a vegetarian, there is a nice selection of food including a number of bean curd dishes. Now this is not unique, as many Asian food emporiums provide this produce. However, to cook it to perfection takes some doing. Jade Garden really hit the spot, not only with quality but also with portion size and value for money. Food is piping hot, tasteful and non greasy. The Tofu / Bean Curd dishes are massive, crammed full of curd and other tasty produce. Ordering times are spot on to and the staff are really friendly and obliging. This has now become my regular haunt.

I have lived in the area for 12 years and regret never trying Jade Garden. We had our first takeaway yesterday and I couldn't have been more impressed. The lady taking my order was very friendly and advised me on different options. The lemon chicken was fantastic as was the salt n pepper spare ribs. They were incredibly tasty. I didn't realise they offer home delivery too which is a plus if you live locally. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

Only gave 2 stars as some of the chicken balls weren't cooked properly, still cold in the middle which, is a shame as the ones that were cooked properly were very hot & tasted great. The beef in hot blackbean sauce wasn't very "hot" to the taste, more like a bog standard beef in blackbean sauce. The other meals we had were very hot & properly cooked.

This place has been around for what seems like ever. Parking is usually at a premium so it makes it difficult to stop, especially when busy, consequently I haven't been here in years. However, on a quiet Sunday night I decided to order a number of vegetable and tofu based items. I'm certainly glad I did! Not only was it ready in ten minutes, but the food was great. Fresh, cooked to perfection with what appeared to be top quality ingredients, including speciality mushrooms. The bean curd (Tofu) dishes are fantastic and unlike many places which pack their Tofu dishes out with vegetables there was a massive amount of curd. Two different Tofu dishes with two different style cooking methods. As a vegetarian this place hits the mark and I will certainly be returning as not only is the food great but the menu is extensive and creative with very large portions. Well done Jade Garden on moving with the times and raising the bar.

Ordered a take away got back to find there was a main dish missing and both sauce cartons were missing. When I phone to ask them be delivered. They said no such order was made and I'd have to pay again. Not a great Chinese definitely won't be coming back

Great varied menu and very busy as so popular. The lettuce wraps are a must, heaven, and feel healthy! I also recommend the chilli and blackbean dishes.

I find it odd why a business in this day and age would opt to accept cash only as payments. They do not accept card and definitely not chip and pin on our visit. The way in which were informed of this also made me feel quite unwelcome and put off frankly. One wonders why on earth there's a cash only policy.......

Food was ok. 3 star hygiene isn't the best and normally I would avoid, but ordered before I saw it! Doh! Cash payments only, but luckily there are banks around the corner.

I must have eaten from here nearly 200 hundred times over the last 7 years. Always reliable on quality. Great value. Prompt even at busy times. Also delivers reliably for our squash teams many times a week during the season's months. Also, the fastest phone order take downs you'll ever experience. Avg. 30 seconds an order! Highly recommend the dry salt and pepper ribs (vh), stuffed lettuce wraps, and most chow meins and Chinese dishes like satay, black bean sauce and crispy beef.

Good, tasty Chiese takeaway. Great spring rolls, great special fried rice. Generous portions, and well priced. I always pick up my takeaways from her rather than getting it delivered as it gets pretty busy.
