Can get a good lunch if tables aren't reserved! It would be better first come, first served

To slow the weak before she refused to serve me with a hot meal it was 2 minutes past 2 scones was hard in my eyes the cafe is going down what a improvement keep it up well done

Even though we no longer live local to jacksdale its worth it for the quality of the plants

Brilliant little garden centre with a great cafe!

Seems to have got a lot better this year. You can tell they have spent money on the centre. The plants are good quality and most are a good price

Lots of variety, chilled and helpful staff

Always quality goods, choices of other products well presented. Coffee shop great has gluten free cakes a bonus, but I feel its a little unfair as some people reserved tables but didn't access the plants or garden products. Just there for coffee and cake

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea here today. The food was excellent and the staff very welcoming and attentive. Lovely place.

Arrived 10.20 and ordered breakfast. Saw table reserved from noon 12.oo and thought shouldn't be an issue OH IT WAS Hassled by waitress saying table reserved YEAH from noon 90 mins from order late order delivery and rushed breakfast can't see us rushing back sadly as its on our doorstep

Seasoned gardeners may find some plant selections lacking, but as a general purpose garden centre, plants, compost, tools and pots worth a visit. Small cafe serves quality fare. 2024 - Extending the cafe by enclosing the balcony, looks like it will quadruple seating 👍

Nice garden centre with cafe but 10minute standing in queue then told 40 plus minute for chip cob, then another 10 minute wait for our tea! Not a good first visit. Nah not worth it.

What a lovely garden centre. Great choice of plants, ornaments and furniture. We tried the cafe and the food was very tasty couple with friendly service. If you are near, pop in you won't be disappointed

We popped in today, thinking that we would have to sit outside with our little dog to have a coffee, but when we got there We could see that they have got a new covered over dog friendly area. It’s totally enclosed and has lovely faux grass. Felt nice and warm in this winter weather. Plenty of tables in the area. It was so nice to have an area that we could take our dog and have a nice meal without sitting in the cold. Had a lovely breakfast. Thank you Jacksdale Garden Centre thinking about us with dogs.

Tried the tea rooms at jacksdale garden centre for the first time today and it was lovely, a very relaxing atmosphere; the staff was super friendly and the hot chocolate was a work of art (unfortunately I tucked straight into it before I could take a picture as it was too delicious not to!) However here's a picture of my toasted teacake. The food was fresh, tasty and obviously of really good quality and reasonably priced. Anyone wondering whether to give this place a try or not should absolutely go for it you won't regret it. We will be back again soon!!

I visited with friends for the first time today and it is such a lovely little tea room with fab food and fab prices too! I had an excellent cuppa and Jam on toast! I think we may have found our new meetup place! the staff are so friendly!

Lovely garden centre with so much choice and especially lovely at Christmas, the displays are great. The tea rooms is without a doubt one of if not the best in the area. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is brilliant! The staff are so friendly and always make us feel so welcome. My 1 year old Eve cheers when we pull up in the car park. Highly recommended!

Good garden centre but the food in the cafeteria is poor . We had a tuna panini and. Sausage sandwich, Tuna was old and the sausages were advertised as Butchers but were poor quality commercial ones.

Pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly service. The nicest garden centre I know! Doesn't have the overwhelming commercial feel that most do these days.

Called in today on a dog walk, we sat outside, the cafe staff where exceptional, a lovely lady with blonde hair brought our food out & even got the dog some doggie sausage, what a nice thought, nothing was too much trouble for her, she’s an asset to the cafe. The garden centre is amazing now, great selection of plants & the Christmas shop is beautiful. All in all a great visit, garden centres like this one could teach some of the bigger garden centres a thing or too about customer care, very impressive.

Not been for years and it's clearly being ran by someone that cares/knows what they're doing. All the plants are healthy, neat and tidy and displayed well. The outdoor plant area is being revamped with new wooden benches being made so look forward to seeing how that develops. The Christmas area and gift area were really well stocked with some different things I've not seen before and really nicely laid out. Really impressed. First ever visit to the tearoom and wasn't disappointed! The coffee was delicious, Raspberry and white chocolate Scones were to die for. Lovely and warm and cosy in there and the staff were very pleasant.

Lovely garden centre, friendly staff, lovely tea room with delicious food, get my real Christmas trees from here and with the many selections of plants and gifts here, you are spoilt for choice. Highly recommended.

What an all round lovely garden centre. Staff are all so welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The tea room is the best we have ever found by far. The food is really good with healthy portions. The cakes are absolutely delicious and again the staff are so lovely. Nickisha and Kelsey always have a smile and are super welcoming as are all the guys in the coffee shop. Their customer care goes well over and beyond and is very appreciated. They are an absolute credit to you. We have now become regulars and will continue to visit as you feel totally valued as a customer. Keep doing what you are doing and being amazing guys!!

Wonderful little garden centre with a very busy tea rooms! Which speaks for the quality really. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and cake available. The garden centre is currently set up for Christmas in the back rooms but there are plenty of 'normal" garden centre things still available. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Been today and wow, lovely Christmas display but still loads of plants. Also had lunch which was very nice, think they need a bigger place to eat in. Definitely will go again. 5 star staff.

Five star experience, lovely garden centre with wonderful staff and a fantastic coffee shop not to be missed. Good prices and plenty of healthy plants on offer. Also on finding this gem of a garden centre, I don't spend money elsewhere! Love this place. Update - the best hot chocolate in Notts is no more ;( they've had to make cutbacks as its too expensive to buy the chocolate drops from Bookers anymore to make a profit, absolutely devastated, great loss...

Lovely cup of coffee and delicious scones, very friendly staff and quick service.

Jacksdale garden centre is a hidden gem. Loads of stuff for the garden, lovely layout, good cafe and a service second to none. Any heavy compost bags etc? Don't lug it round, just go to checkout order it and they will collect it from their stock in the store and bring it to your car and load it into your boot, all within minutes. You can't beat that, it's wonderful.

Fantastic breakfast and the staff are really lovely. On our visit the Christmas set up was taking over the main seasonal area. Special offers across loads of items from pots to trees ,bedding plants and ornaments. Back soon to grab me a few more plants .

Really enjoyed coffee and cake. Just a heads up they stop serving lunch at 2pm. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious though 😋

Lovely garden centre but the cafe is so disorganised. Queue one way to order and pay, then have to go back through the queue to collect drinks. All that said its a lovely cup of tea and food 😋

Love love love this garden centre!! Has a huge range of plants and pots! Fantastic range of fruit and vegetables plants to! There is a great selection of garden furniture, tools and indoor plants (really cool ones actually) and a wonderful gift shop! The cafe there is amazing to! Offering a great selection of cakes and hot drinks! Cakes are amazing also! Great sales to be had at the right times of year!

Enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea yesterday. The cakes were all delicious especially the giant white chocolate and raspberry scones. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely afternoon tea for my daughter's baby shower. The food was delicious 😋 especially the raspberry and white chocolate scones. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you 😊.

Bought 2 trees and a climber here that were better value than elsewhere. Only lost a star in rating as on one of the days we visited there was a long delay on food.

Very good garden centre, not too expensive and has a great range of plants, shrubs, trees, ornaments, paving, water features etc. Also a good shop for all gardening needs and gifts too. There is a good sized car park which is free to park and a nice cafe with a terrace outside seating area.

My role is transport provider for the head domestic gardener, so I claim little personal horticultural knowledge, but Jacksdale Garden Centre is highly regarded by my dear wife. We have visited several times and always find it well stocked and very reasonably priced.

This is a very good quality garden centre with nice plants that are well looked after. There is also a café. Reasonable prices too.

One of my favourite garden centres. Lots to browse through & the plants are great quality/well looked-after. Visited a few times now & always really happy with my purchases. The cafe is also great & makes the visit even better.

Massive selection of garden needs and decor items. Very nice tea house at the front with delicious cakes and quality coffee. Nice staff ready to help and advise. Family run business, well worth supporting. Reasonable sized parking area, all on level ground for easy access

Got this out of bargain trolley 2/3 years ago x certainly a bargain 😀

Lovely plants but centre is quite pricy. I also asked a member of staff where I could find Rocket and was told to find them in the tunnel. After exploring the tunnel twice I asked another member of staff and was told to look with the herbs, where again there was no rocket to be found. No one took the time to show me to the elusive plant.

Love this garden centre. It's plants always seem to be good quality. It's what I call a proper one not too much over the top selling ornaments clothes etc. Think cafe needs more staff though

The chip cobs have reduced dramatically in size. Less chips and smaller cob. The price has also risen. The staff are good and friendly. The food is still nice.
