Grill is a really nice restaurant, wonderful and very delicious food, prices are very affordable, thank you to the head waiter Ozgur and his team, everything was perfect, we will come again.

Delicious Turkish cuisine filling&freshly prepared in a nice and friendly atmosphere for a fairly reasonable price. Tenderness meat , flavours dishes and best cocktail made by Mr mixologist Özgür 👍👍

The ambiance is fantastic, complemented by upbeat music, cheerful staff, and generously portioned dishes. Please try the chicken wings and lamb ribs—they're personal favorites of mine and absolutely worth a try!

Visited with friends. Food was delicious with lots of vegetarian options. Service was great and nice atmosphere. I will highly recommend and will be back soon !

We decided to come here for Mother’s Day as a last minute idea, and we are so glad that we did! We not only accommodated for us but also allowed us to have our pram next to the table as we have a newborn baby. The food was incredible, we ordered the lamb shish and it was perfect. The waitress even gave us boiled water to disinfect the dummy that got dropped - so very thoughtful and appreciated as a new mother! Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back x

The food and service was good. We went for dinner and particularly loved the starters; hummus kavurma, sucuk, chicken liver and kibbeh. From the mains, the meat moussaka was the highlight and I would highly recommend it.

This is the second time at Izgara the whetstone the service is always on point and the food also the waiter made our Christmas celebration dinner memorable. We will definitely go back the staff always makes our night extra special with their laughters.

We had a good time. The service was slow and the lentil soup not as flavoursome as normal. But overall a nice time and as usual great value for money.

We ate here for dinner earlier this week and although I have dined in many a Turkish restaurants, Ive never dined in one like this. I got to experience the ambience of a great atmosphere and authentic turkish cuisine. Not only was it the real deal but it totally rocked. (Im not sure about the Raki which is an acquired taste) But the service was off the charts. Would I eat there again? Absolutely. Should you? The answer should be a ressounding yes.

Enjoyed a really lovely night out with our best friends. Very convivial atmosphere. Food very nice, reasonable value for money, presentation 'OK' nothing special. To be a 4/5 star it's got to be something else and although it's seemingly cheaper than Skewd in Cockfosters it's nowhere near as nice presentation or amount as far as food is concerned. I'd still go there again no problem as it's really nice.

Recommended by a friend so came here for lunch. Given complimentary bread and olives, which were very nice. Had the charcoaled chicken thighs with salad and rice, so damn tasty with their garlic and chilli sauces. Lovely place with nice seating and friendly, attentive staff

Nice service dried overcooked lamb shish

Definitely highly recommended in terms of the suitability of my taste, esp. for a novice of Turkish food. I love the cold Meze very much and the warm "bread" served together. At the end of the meal, when paying, the free Turkish delight was excellent for not being too sweet but having a good chewy and nutty texture. Will definitely visit again or even just order a takeaway or a delivery.

Fabulous restaurant serving food full of flavour in a restaurant close to Totteridge and Whetstone station. Staff are friendly and accommodating, plenty of choices for vegetarians like me! Opted for the veggie platter to start with (swapped the fish for olives) and for main course I went for the vegetable moussaka which was a big portion, I couldn't finish the rice. Definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed I will definitely return.

Gave it one star because it won't allow zero. A Turkish restaurant that doesn't have the UK most popular dish , doner kebab is already a failure IMO. An owner who sees a disgruntled customer and 100% ignores that person is also a failure. A Turkish restaurant that refuses to offer salad to their customers when they want it,ie as you sit down but told ONLY with the main course, is a failure... say no more. One to definitely not revisit for me! Yeauk

Food portion size was generous. However price to match. But service was disappointing.

Just had an abysmal experience made worse by the couldn't care less attitude of the owner but lovely place and nice staff,shame about the food and management!

Food nice but sides need to be done seperately which can work out expensive. Felt a little rushed when waiters tried to take away dishes before everyone had finished.

A late lunch was ours, It was our first visit at the restaurant however familiar with their menu as was ordering delivery previously. Very welcoming and good looking room, also has outside seating too. We had soup, a hot starter and 2 sides! Nice choices for mains and specials... also there is a set menu option. Lentil soup is the most popular soup you might find in a Turkish restaurant, I love it! Liver was our choice from starters, tasty and tender... Surprisingly as most Turkish restaurants here we did not received a salad, but the classic chilli and yogurt sauces arrived with the liver... Wished we had the boulgour with the liver but to be fair I didn't asked. It arrived with the grilled vegetables which were tasty fresh off the grill. As per dessert loved Helva made of semolina... is a traditional sweet often made in home and rarely found on restaurant menus... at least not in London! I been to several turkish restaurants ;) Was great to remember the taste from Istanbul... finished with Turkish Tea and got offered Turkish delight ❤ If in the area will definetly return!

Everything was very good the food service everyone was very friendly

Nice food - very noisy and quite cramped - it felt oppressive. Also had a hair in the tarama didn't say anything as they were so busy. Parking is terrible.

Went to eat here yesterday and had such a nice time. Service was excellent, food was amazing and the ambience of the restaurant is just really nice. We were having cocktails and then were given 2 free shots and they were both made with a twist, something I’ve never tried and was honestly soooo nice!! Amazing!!! We booked in advance 3ish - expecting to be rushed out within the 1hour. Staff gave outstanding service; freshly made seafood dishes, alongside perfect cocktails. Think this is my fave Izgara of them all ;) Its always great & full of atmosphere! 2 of us shared the cold mix meze & the mixed fish shish which was delicious, well cooked and tasty. We shared a hot dessert that had a custard hug, totally delicious...Will be back. Also, they made me a fab decaf expresso martini

Lovely food and very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff. They were happy for me to have two starters in place of a main (liver, and beetroot salad), other half had a generous sea bass fillet and our son had lamb shish. All beautifully prepared and cooked. Top notch.

My experience last night started off with a friendly greeting from a waiter who sat us both down at a spacious table of 4. For starters, I'm super pleased with the portions and quality of the food. Our main was chicken shish which was so delicious. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long to get served. Towards the end of our night the waiters gave us complimentary Baklava on the house which was a lovely surpise, so kind of them . Will definitely go back there, they really looked after us and treated us incredibly well. I did not feel rushed at all to leave, it was very welcoming. Defo recommende

After eating at the Edgware branch, I'm disappointed I thought I'd be having the same flavoursome experience but I didn’t. Its not the same flavours. I didn't enjoy it. Not happy

Loved it. My lamb ribs were delicious. Same about the starters. Nephews said their falafel and kofta rolls were very tasty and huge in size. Very good and friendly service And very good hygiene. I recommend Izgara to everyone and I will return soon even if not 8n my area.

We have been to this restaurant few times now . I have only good words to say about everything. Staff always welcome,polite , helpful and willing to make the client happy always . Quality of food is just excellent . I can't start saying which food is the best cos I won't finish . Desert is also outstanding. Serving the food hot just as I like it !!! Thank you Izgara team!!!!

Great food reasonably priced, visited today after a few years due to lock down, friendly staff and a great choice of foods.

Disappointing experience. Meal was tasty but not as tasty as other similar restaurants. Fish was over cooked. Several dishes we tried to order were unavailable. On the final bill the restaurant forgot to charge for the drinks we had consumed.
