Good food. Pleasant atmosphere.

I went with my mum on Mother's Day and the food was delicious and well presented and the service friendly, fast and efficient. We will be going again!

Izgara is my favourite restaurant in Finchley. The venue has a classy, quality ambience with good music, I’ve had dinner here plenty of times with my friends and associates. They have been operating in this location for 20+ years so the management have good experience catering to the tastes of the customers. I frequently see large groups dining or having lunch here with plenty of options to choose from in the menu, also families are quite regular. You should definitely discover some of the hot and cold starters, I recommend getting lamb or chicken shish, which comes with plenty of salad and pilav rice on the side. In the menu you will find some essential Turkish delicacies. After your main, try some Turkish tea or Turkish coffee, which go really well. Ask for sütlaç (Turkish rice pudding), which is delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you will leave with a belly full of goodness 😊

We were seated with a warm welcome, from the moment when we sat to the end of our meal, the service has been amazing! we had the mix grill for 2 which was enough to feed more than 3 people and both the meat and chicken tasted good and cooked perfectly. Marve was our amazing host, she was so nice and friendly and catered to all our needs!

The restaurant is very clean, the staff is superb (especially the waiter Cihan), paid attention to us, food was served within a very reasonable time and tasted amazing. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Ladies who looked after us tonight were also extremely great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat Turkish food. We tried Iskender, Beyti, izgara kofte and mix cold starters. We loved every single bite of our meals.

Best salad I have had in a very long while, and I dony normally do the green stuff! The lamb was lovely, though a little salty, but tasted good. It's not cheap, but what is... Parking is challenging.

Really good food, albeit a bit pricey. Next time we'll leave a gap between ordering starters and mains as we over ordered and then couldn't finish the mains. Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. Disappointed that we didn't get a Turkish delight at the end of the meal... But would recommend!

I enjoyed a really nice lunch there last week. Great for vegetarians. Such a great choice.

I visited again here yesterday for dinner . Believe me everything was opposite. I was so dissapointed with the customer service being so careless that I will never go here again. Very cogested and unorganised. After 30 min of ordering food we were told that the colegue forgot the order. Then after 30 more min we received food but no plates, another 30 min drinks, another 10 min to get the cutlery,then napkins. Oh one of the worst experience in my life . Similarly the portion was half of the previous visit and was not cooked properly. Today I learnt that customer service counts above everything in food industry.I will never visit here again. If you visit there monday to friday they do soup of the day, starter and main for 15.90. They charge you seperatly for the soup and dont mention it upfront.

Even though it was Monday was quite full for dinner. Its a beautiful place with a stylish decoration and lovely service. We ordered the cold an hot sharing plates and were very tasty and big. I love it because it was quite tapas style and a good combination of different finger food. I Could see that for music they have a latin vibe.Good choice with Juanes.

The best Turkish food I've had in Finchley!

The food is definitely the best thing in this place. Really tasty and perfectly prepared. I had a kofte which was juicy and tasteful. Portions are not great. Service a bit of a bit and miss. Atmosphere not really the best. If you like Turkish food this is definitely a place to visit.

We have dined here several times. The lamb shish, which is my favourite, has been cooked to perfection every single time. It is very hard to find good Adana kebap even in Turkey most of the times, but Izgara's was great! One plate is more than enough for one person with its salad and rice. The ambiance is perfect, the light, decoration, music and everything... Service is always great, very kind and friendly people... We will visit here more often, worth every penny 👏🏻👏🏻

Beautiful venue, Fabulous service. I only have 4 stars for the food because my chicken thighs, although barbequed and went back to cook some more, were rubbery and unpleasant to eat. Having said that, they took this off the bill which was greatly appreciated and the right thing to do. The rest of the food was excellent and huge portions. My friends had lamb shish which was delicious. Would definitely go again.

Meh.... It was ok. A bit over priced for the same food you get in other Turkish kebap houses!! Food was ok but didn't woo me. In simple english : Food tastes the same as in every other kebap house.

Very disappointed with this local restaurant. Took my 93 year old Mum for her Birthday and my son..informed them it was a birthday and they didn't do anything..found a hair in my Aperitiv and the Waitress ignored the complaint..had to send one of the mezze plates back as was off..all in all a complete disappointment. Complete rip off ,£150 for a very secondary experience. Never again. My son did a takeaway and after warning him not to bother he has promised never again..cold and tasteless. THATS IT..NO BLOODY MORE

Great Turkish restaurant near Finchley Central, staff were quite friendly and managed to find us a walk in table for four on Friday evening. Food is nice, enjoyed the starters, minced chicken and lamb kebabs were also good.

My husband's Turkish and he said this is the BEST Turkish food he's ever had in the UK. Say no more, it's not even worth elaborating - it's simply exceptional. We will be back!

Really enjoyable experience eating lunch here on a Sunday. Very generous portion sizes (maybe a little too big for me but they helpfully packed up leftovers to go) and beautifully flavoured chicken beyti. Food also tasted fresh and I think it’s pretty healthy ~ most dishes served with fresh salad. Have visited twice and will be back again soon.

Let's start by saying that if you are served with a smiling face and a friendly voice, an ordinary meal feels like a feast. Nad ( Junaid) has that kind of magic. He has a very kind disposition. Complements to the chef. He/she has blessed hands. I had lunch and dinner here on seperate days and the food was equally tasty. It would be difficult to choose between my Mantar dolma at lunch and Salmon fillet at dinner, which melted in my mouth and made me eat all of a portion size i would never be able to finish. Absolutely divine. If my stay in London was a little longer I would have visited here again. The sauces with the complementary starters are yummm.... The food is halal, but if you enjoy alcohol with your food, you can get that too. I am not too sure about the desert because honestly, I couldn't get to those, but by the looks of them they look nice too. I did not see a wheel chair access but till winters you can sit outside. This is my regular Turkish restaurant ‘to go to’ when I crave hummus, Turkish coffee and to feel welcomed and looked after. We stopped by for snacks with a colleague after work. Could not resist and ordered a cocktail on special offer. I love soup so had ‘homemade’ style chicken soup and pita and hummus. My friend enjoyed SIGARA BOREGI The cocktail was worth the sin haha Thank you - excellent service as always and will come back soon!

Yet again, the manager walked through the restaurant taking a video of all customers on his personal noble phone. Why? There was no notice saying this would happen. Hot, airless, cramped, tables too close together. However, Delicious food, lovely waitress.

Well presented very nice food. I find Turkish food to be lacking in spice generally but aside from this I enjoyed it. We ordered 2 Royal platters for 9 adults and it turned out to be way more than enough. Next time I think I’d go for 1 Royal and maybe supplement it with a couple of other dishes for variety.

Lamb shish is healthy and very tasty. Although prices seem to have gone up a fair bit over the years.

We absolutely love this restaurant. One of the best places to eat in North London.

Overall I'll say it's manageable. There's definitely room for improvement regarding overall food flavour and taste. Service was slightly shaky but I am not a fussed diner. I suggest Customers should be attended to once they are seated. The cocktail was really good. I got the Mango and coconut mojito. The Flavours shine through. I would visit again before recommending but try it out and make up your own mind.

Went to Izgara Turkish restaurant. The staff was quite lovely.. The food was great..I loved the bread, it was so fresh and warm right out the oven. I had the lamb cutlets as my main which was tender, juicy and tasty.
