Izgara Restaurant in Harrow

The service was exceptional, the staff were welcoming and attentive. Special commendations to Demetri and Saed as well as the young lady who was in front of house, who helped us get a table on a busy Saturday night. It was a bit noisy, but we were seated in the back area which was a little quieter. Otherwise we really enjoyed the food. Will look forward to visiting again soon

I had the pleasure of dining here with my wife , was served by a gentleman named Cetin, what exceptional service he provided made us feel welcome, was very warm and went above and beyond what you would regularly receive at a restaurant. The atmosphere in here is splendid the lighting was perfect the music not too loud. On top of all of this the food served was remarkable, I got a mixed grill and let me tell you the meat was cooked to perfection, same goes for the sea food grill also, the flavours are tremendous everything just melts in your mouth highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Turkish grill. Thank you Cetin and Izgara for a wonderful experience will 100% be visiting again.

My boyfriend just tried to make a reservation over the phone as the website wasn’t working for either of us across multiple browsers but the man on the phone insisted the website was fine and that we were lying. We were both sat listening in disbelief as if we had anything to gain by lying about not being able to use the (much more convenient) website. Will not be dining there again after two years of otherwise very pleasant experiences.

Really lovely food, sea bass was seasoned and cooked to perfection, starters were great. The chilli sauce and garlic sauce were👌Cocktails.could have been a little stronger. Service was really good too, will definitely visit again.

I’ll just leave a review of the Hummus which it seems comes straight off a supermarket fridge. All the mains were terribly bland and the staff were so miserable as if doing everyone a favour. To top it the prices are from Knightsbridge. Ha!

Ate here on a Monday lunchtime, we were celebrating my husband's birthday. We were given the main menu, and the lunch time set menu, which has a good amount of choice. We actually decided to eat off of the a la carte menu, we shared 3 starters to include falafel, mains were a mixed kebab, and mixed kofta, both served with a delicious salad, and a side of bulgar. Everything came up hot, tasty, and nice portion. Plenty of parking, plus car park at the rear, we will definitely return, and probably eat off of the set lunch menu next time

Food was delicious. Most of the staff was also very friendly, except our waiter who was very rude to us most of the time. Their lamb shish and lamb chops were really good

We loved it! Fantastic food, lovely staff, and a great experience. We went as a family group with mixed aged children. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh, cooked well and full of flavour! From the Foodies to the fussy diners, the entire group was happy!

This is a review of izgara delivery food and I will start but saying how repulsive it was. We ordered Chicken shish and chicken beyti as our mains along with chips and salad through Uber. Firstly the food we ordered was completely cold. Following every step with Uber, I can see the food was collected promptly and delivered promptly. (We only live less than 3min away from the restaurant). So why the cold food? Secondly it was all overcooked and too chewy which was unpleasant to eat. Finally, and the biggest complaint is the reduced portion of food when delivered . You could clearly see that the beyti was much smaller than the portion you get at the restaurant. You can clearly see it was broken in half and only provided one portion. It's a shame to see this restaurant go from bad to worse!!! If you really want to have Izgara, I suggest taking that extra journey and go to the Northwood branch. They provide a much better service and superior quality of food.

We went to Izgara Hatch end for a family meal. We ordered a few starters to share and lamb cutlets , chicken shish and mixed grill for mains. The starters were nice but the mains were nothing special. Dry food with hardly any flavour. There was more flavour in the salad than the meat. We could have done with vegetables on the skewer or a dipping sauce maybe. (Nice atmosphere and parking available ).

Izgara is one of the best Turkish restaurant I’ve visited till now. The food was exceptional. I had dinner on Friday and I ordered some cold starters, lamb cutlets and sea food grill. Everything was amazing. I loved the vibe and the staff were very attentive. Dumitri, a staff member made our experience even better. He was welcoming, professional and smiling. Thank you! I will come certainly again.

I had dinner at Izgara last Friday. It was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere fantastic. The staff were polite and professional. I have been served by a really courteous staff member, Dimitri. He was all the time available, polite, smiling and professional! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

food was excellent, good menu and all was very good. let down by all the birthday songs - why does the music need to be so loud? and the service was not great - when 3 people have stopped eating and 1 is still eating you do not remove plates. toilets could do with a check and a clean mid service. will go again and recommend

Wow. Poor quality food. Items came out cold. Flavours were a miss. We ordered a wide range and was surprised that the food was at average or at worse why it is even being served? Why would a Turkish restaurant serve brie and mango ( someone on our table ordered it and it was a poor choice). Lamb was over cooked and under seasoned. I do not mind restaurants asking for a higher price, but please make sure the kitchen makes good to hit the standard.

What a disappointment was my favourite how it has gone down hill service at 4/30 in thee afternoon was terrible food came out cold and the portions were about half of what they were not going back again most of the staff didn’t understand English

The food was impressive the octopus and salmon on the seafood grill were cooked to perfection. And the service from dimitri was very at tentative and made the whole table feel well looked after so thanks Izgara for making my nephews birthday a memorable evening for the food aswell as the company 👍🏽

Absolutely loved it! This was my first experience at the hatch end Izgara (my usual spot used to be Izgara Whetstone) and wow I was super impressed. My friend had booked a table for 5pm on a Saturday however we then wanted to change it to 6pm and the lady at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. She even had friendly banter whilst she was going into the system to change our timings. When we went back to the restaurant, not only was the food super delicious but the service was spot on. We had the mushrooms with hallomi for starters and i ordered the chicken with asparagus and it was super tasty! It was also a very healthy portion. It’s no wonder the place was super packed by 8pm. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

I had a lovely dinner with my friend, our waiter was said he offered us a very lovevly wine follow by the nice and juicy lamb cutlets. Hes very sweet and helpful. Many thanks to him and the restaurant.

Only complaint was that the music was too loud, made it difficult for the group to talk. EVERYTHING ELSE was awesome, food, service, portion size, cannot complain in the slightest. So tasty, so efficient and the cost was surprisingly reasonable considering the quality.

Great service Java!! Highly recommend!!!

This place was a big underwhelming. The food was average and lacked flavour. The background music was super loud making any conversation completely impossible. I was having to shout myself and coupled with the high temperature setting inside, I found the experience quite draining. We ordered a cocktail and some wine and for starters, chicken balls in creamy sauce which could have done with more seasoning. The fried brie with the mango sauce was nice and the Babaganoush was average. Portion sizes were OK. For mains we had the chicken shish and the lamb, again nothing more than average. Overall a pleasant enough space but too loud for my liking.

Despite it being a bit too loud, the service by Syed was great.

The Izgara is a large restaurant with impressive décor and a pleasant ambience. It was not particularly busy on a Wednesday afternoon, so no problem getting a table. Service was friendly and attentive and our food arrived quickly. The meals were tasty, although the portions were moderate. The bill for 4 of us, adding 5 beers between us came to £114.00, which I felt was a little on the high side for the amount of food we had and with us having taken advantage of the lunchtime deal. Probably more in line with what I would expect to pay for dinner rather than lunch. Overall, however, an enjoyable dining experience.

Restaurant is absolutely amazing, ambience was perfect, food was absolutely delicious and service was 10/10. We had a Gentleman called Java serve us and his service is impeccable, kept making sure we were good throughout our time there. Would definitely recommend and go again! Thank you Java!

I recently dined with my family at this charming Turkish restaurant. It was an absolute delight! The manager Baris is creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a delicious selection of Turkish cold and hot meze starters including a selection of mains - sea food was a culinary delight. Absolutely delicious baklava for dessert of course with traditional Turkish coffee. Also bar offers a wide range of cocktails. Baris explained us all dishes and cocktails what helped us with great choice. What's even better is that the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and service we receive. It's a hidden gem for those seeking a taste of Turkey without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this spot for a fantastic Turkish dining experience!

Went Friday night. Service was on point and our waiter Said was incredibly attentive and responsive whilst serving other tables simultaneously. When we were unsure, he gave recommendations which were valuable. Would 100% go back and recommend. Especially happy as they had vegetarian and gluten free options too.

Just walked in on a weekday lunchtime, first visit.. warm reception, fast service & delicious food. Serving staff were pretty attentive. Overall a great lunch!

Very nice interior and atmosphere. Waiting-staff was overly keen to please. Emptying our red wine into our glasses until they looked over full and then angling to sell us another bottle or offering more bread, knowing it would be added to the bill. I was there to chill and enjoy my birthday, not to be rushed and sold to. Food was very nice.
