Great authentic food that everyone should try.

Food which was provided was nice however missing all salads & dips.

Very disappointed. Chicken Shish was dry, lamb Shish was fatty and over cooked. Lamb donor was dry. Chips were not edible. The bread and garlic dip were nice. Salad had way to much coriander

Absolutely 💯 % worth a visit. The customer service is exceptional, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. I ordered a Shawarma meal, the portion size is amazing, more than I could eat in one serving. If you are hungry and want some really tasty food, I definitely recommend it. I will be back to try another dish

Lovely food but unfortunately missing chill sauce and salad. Which made it not as top notch as usual. Also there were only 3 pieces of baklava. For the price you expect a full delivery. Disappointing

This is the second time we have ordered from here first time was brilliant average delivery time and lovely and hot, and this time it was 45 minutes late I rang and they said it’s on its way, there was no sorry it’s so late, does not take 45 minutes to deliver and when it arrived it was cold :( never tastes the same when it’s warmed up, has put us of from ordering from here again :(

The food is always good quality from here and that is why we keep coming back. However in our most recent order there was no salad or cacik in my wife’s chicken doner wrap so it was literally just wrap and chicken which was a little bit disappointing. The halloumi wrap was as good as ever though.

Second time visiting - this time we are in. The food is so delicious, beautifully presented and is plentiful. The staff are very friendly and was keen for us to try Turkish tea and some baklava which were both so good. The first time we ordered to take out and we couldn’t believe how much food there was. Great to have meat served with rice rather than chips. Salad was amazing. Great to try so many new delicacies knowing they are authentically marinated, spiced and cooked. Look forward to many more meals with you!

Food was fantastic, I got a strawberry cake instead of chocolate fudge that’s ok I still ate it.

Been coming here for years, the food and hospitality never disappoint. Be careful how much you order though as the portion sizes always have been massive.

I order very regularly with this restaurant, however the past 2 times (today and last Friday) the meat has been inedible!! I thought it was a one off the last Friday, as normally the food is better than most other Turkish peer restaurants. So I was surprised to get very poor meat again (and also no bread!) tonight which I could not eat!! It would be good to receive some feedback.

The food is just incredible. Had a slight issue with my hummus being missed but they dealt with it brilliantly and got some sent straight out to me. My absolute favourite place for food.

I recently ordered a takeaway from Istanbul, and I have to say, it was a truly disappointing experience. My partner (who suffers from coeliac) called prior to ordering to clearly indicate their allergies when making the order. The restaurant completely failed to recognise their dietary restrictions. Not only did this put her health at risk, but it also showed a shocking level of negligence on the part of the staff and kitchen. I expected much better from a supposedly reputable establishment. This lack of attention to allergies is not only dangerous but also reflects a complete disregard for customer safety and satisfaction. I would strongly advise against dining at Istanbul if you have any food allergies, as they clearly do not take them seriously.

Gluten free choices for me as a celiac were superb. Walked me through the menu and adjusted our order for my needs. The Turkish tea given to us while we waited made us wish we were staying longer. We ordered the shared mix platter and it was huge! Best Turkish food I’ve had outside of Turkey. We stumbled upon this place because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. VERY glad.

Ordered a takeaway for my sons birthday my daughter has celiac disease, she rung the restaurant before we ordered and checked against the dishes we had ordered, we were informed no gluten, she double checked and asked again, no gluten, well it did and has made her very ILL this morning, this is not good enough what more can you do them phone and double check, WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN, I do hope they read this and reply!!!!!! Please beware if you have any allergies!!!!

Do not eat here if you have allergies. I was assured the rice served is not mixed with any type of wheat (I am celiac). We spent almost £100 on food only for the rice to have wheat mixed in. I am now extremely ill from this experience.

Did not get my stamp reward which would have saved me £24.00 on my order so although I would normally rate this restaurant as very good I was disappointed tonight.

Great Turkish food and lovely staff. The chef said this will be the best Turkish meal that you have ever had as he was serving us, I was sceptical at first as I have had many great Turkish meals as my partner is Turkish, Well he was 100% correct, what an amazing meal full of flavour from extra herbs and fresh ingredients plus perfect cooking. Thank you!!!!

Really amazing food but that's not all. Their chef and the staff is so welcoming and polite which is rare to see in other restaurants. Do not forget to have their amazing tea. I have been to Turkish restaurant more than 500 times but never had such a refreshing tea. I hope they can give me the recipe 😋. Overall they deserve 5🌟 rating. I wish them good luck and hope that they maintain the same standards.

Delicious food to eat near Southend-on-Sea. The service was superb. Special thanks to brother Ilyas, who helped us find the perfect platter for two and gave us complementary meze and turkish Baklava. Will to be back again soon.

I have always visited this restaurant, today I took my parents and they enjoyed the food. Their starter was delicious, everything grilled was juicy and flavourful. Their baklava and Turkish tea was great . Overall the Service was excellent. Thank you 😊 5⭐️

One of the worst resturant food quality really bad Table was dirty and very sticky Price is not worth of food.. so expensive and small portions Do not waste ur money.

Order received was incorrect. One dosh was something we didn't order,don't know what was but not nice.

Many times I have ordered the lamb shish, but this time I received half the amount of food than usual. I will order again but hope for the usual amount so I don't feel hungry after my meal.

Ordered 3 chicken shish, which to be fair was lovely (albeit quite small). 1 salad was missing and so was the sauce. Also Missing Coban salad that I paid for! Won’t use again! Also prefer for 7:40 as was out, got here at 7:20, 20 mins early

The meat could off been cooked more some the chicken was a little bit undercooked but the rest was very nice.

When food arrived 20mins past the 1hr20min delivery time. All food was cold. The shish wrap was cold and like a wet paper towel and when taken out of paper wrap split and went everywhere!!

Absolute great food,I had kasiki grill as soon as I walked in was greeted pleasantly. The waitress was very efficient and also got a free sweet which just finished off the meal perfectly great value for money. Thankyou.

Great food, bit expensive but it is worth it. Not too be compared to your usual cheap kebab.

We waited over two hours for a take away and didn’t even get it as we had to leave!

Popped in today and asked extra vegetable instead of rice on my kebab order. Came home found no vegetables no rice have been charged as usual. Very disappointed today

Kofte arrived instead of a lamb/chicken shish. And also the fish was very fishy. Ordered the sea bream, didn’t expect it to arrive whole and had to fillet it aswel. Couldn’t eat it as the smell and look was very off putting. Will not be reordering!

just had a delivery service and the food was not good . the main dish was chicken tavak . the chicken was over cooked and tough which spoilt the rest of the meal . I will not be ordering again

Delivery was great, really friendly driver but the food was awful. Really disappointed as normally a decent restaurant but the meat was all dry, lacking flavour and was a really small portion.

Order was late, chicken didn’t taste great either and sauces all leaked in the bag handed to me. Disappointed as normally they are quite good.

Ordered the shared platter for 4 but the portion size was soo huge that you could feed 8 with that. Food was very delicious, but the overall menu is far too expensive for a small business based in Southend. London Turkish restaurants are way cheaper. But nonetheless, lovely staff and food.

My order was an adna kebab wrap with chili sauce, salad, and a few grilled vegetables, and the other wrap was lamp shish with chickpeas and garlic sauce. The taste was very nice, and the staff was flexible in dealing, as I asked to change the type of bread, and they accepted it kindly. I recommend the restaurant, but I hope the owner justifies the big price difference for the same items between takeout and sitting in the restaurant.

There isn't enough stars to give Neset and the team. Always welcoming and always the best food and service. If your in Southend you HAVE to come here, its absolutely banging 👌 Won't use another restaurant whether it's takeawy or eat in.

I went to the restaurant looking for halal options. Found it horribly expensive for a takeaway/small restaurant. Food was quite average. Seating was quite cramped as one would expect in a small eating place. It’s mainly the price that was a massive shock. I’ve eaten Turkish food in better restaurants in London at half to two-thirds of the price! Will never go again and never recommend anyone.

it must've around arrived 1 hour early and the driver left the food by the hedges of my house outside so it was hard to see in the 1st place and there was no knock to tell me its there by the time i saw it and got the notification it arrived it was sitting there for ages all cold. This is my first time using just eat, id appreciate some sort of refund as it has restaurants that i use regularly and id like to use it more often. Kindest regards, Michael

First time order, food was about 20 mins early which was great as this was a late night last minute order! Everything was delivered hot and food was actually really nice, pleasantly surprised. We also go a few free extras - im guessing because my order was quite big, which was a nice gesture and much appreciated. Thanks for the nice food and service, will order again!
