Good food and friendly customer service.

Didn’t update the order tracking function of the app.

Was this even from the place ordered. Chips usually wrapped separately from wrapped fish were shoved in a box under the fish leading to greasy and less chips than normal.

Had such a lovely meal at this restaurant, food was beautiful. Service was great would highly recommend!! Will definitely be our new go to Turkish Thank you ferman

I received someone else's order and then when mine arrived the chips were hard and not edible I've been ordering from here for the last 5 years at least and the quality is getting worse and worse

Lamb Donner Kebab was cold, i asked for salad but nothing, no onions, cabbage, cucumber and no pickles. The chips were also cold and looked not fresh. I have been using Istanbul for a long time and over the passed months its gone down hill.

Lovely ! Portions size are massive and really nice lamb kebab ! Kids meals are huge.. proper fish and chippie chips ! Loved it

The original delivery time was 35-50 minutes and said our order would be delivered by 7.45 latest. This time then kept moving back and was delivered at 8:20 after having to call the restaurant.

Outstanding food! Service impeccable. Lovely place, will visit again. Happened to pass on way to theatre and stopped for dinner as almost every where else was shut. So glad they were!

The fish batter was soggy and under cooked the chips were also soggy and could have done with longer in the fryer also the gherkins were old and not particularly tasty this is a shame as we have had food from here before and it was decent

Not happy with the delivery taking far too long. order was confirmed at 18:33 and finally delivered to my door 2 hours later. Was informed order would be with me from 19:30 to 19:45, delivered at 20:30 hrs . I normally pick up as only 2 mins drive away but had people over so decided to use the just eat app. Shocking !!! is all I can say. Normally great food but as it was cold and all the chilly sauce had totally drained out of the container and was now absorbed into the wrapping paper. Called the restaurant to be told it was out for delivery which I was informed of 45 mins before my food acually got to me via the app..Food was barely warm so as you would expect not very nice. Won't be using this app again, very very disappointed and not very happy.

The fish is always so fresh - and massive. The batter is just right. I forgot to order chips and they sent a huge portion free with the fish, with a note saying they suspected I'd forgotten to order them. They are simply the best and always have been!

Great food. Fish is delicious - batter was perfect. No too much not too thin. Missed part of my order and turned up quite quickly with the missing meal and a bottle of tango. Will order again.

Took 1 hour and 45 minutes for my delivery of 1 dish. Food was due 13:55 and arrived at 14:50. When I called to query where my food was, I was told rudely "I've sent the food, what do you want me to do?" When I suggested they call the driver and see where they are and how long it would be, I was told 5 minutes, which actually turned out to be 35 minutes. They also stopped answering my calls. To top it off, food was not even lukewarm when it arrived, the bread was clearly recycled stale bread as as soon as it touched the air, it turned into a chewy cracker, and the ribs/rice had barely any flavour, I had to add my own salt. Only decent thing was a miniscule pot of salad. I ordered from elsewhere afterwards and received it before this original order! Appalling service and sub-par food.

Sorry , the food was dripping in Grease. I had to throw most of it away ,really gone downhill .

Delicious food they forgot my chips however once called they came within 10 minutes, with some hot chips, even gave me a free bottle of drink would definitely order again. Great service.

It was a busy night, we wanted the delivery a.s.a.p, the estimated time slowly being watched on the clock. The food arrived hot, fresh, and very tasty.

Today the kebab was covered in grease dripping through the wrapper and the chicken burger isn’t real chicken it’s artificial and in edible very disappointing to be honest as I order here all the time

Delivery driver needs to be paid more

Ordered to be collected and recieved a message to say it was ready, so why did I have to wait 20 mins when I got there ?? No point in telling me it’s ready if I have to wait in a queue, that’s why I preordered!!!

Food is always great, poor delivery time tonight.

App said on its way for about 30 mins, I'm 10 mins away. Then said enjoy your food, I hadn't received it. I called the restaurant, they said it was leaving now, got it 10 mins later. Why say on its way if its not? Ridiculous. So ate cold food an hour and 20 after ordering. This happened with the previous order from them, won't be using again. Disappointing, used to be quick and piping hot food.

Massive kebab the xl size unreal big but worth it if your hungry.

We had a wonderful fish and chips dinner, the service was impeccable, and the food tasted as you expected it to taste. I will definitely use Istanbul again, and I recommend it to anybody how like good food and plenty of it.

Tasty food and plenty of it. Even had a friendly driver, just a shame he forgot our drink (little one didn’t appreciate!)

The greedy delivery driver ate my sausage and half my chips on the way round with the delivery. I know this because the bag of chips was open when he delivered it and he looked like he had just eaten a sausage. An absolute liberty although I could never prove it! Normally an impeccable service from Istanbul!

Chicken Shish wraps are our favourite. Never disappointed!

Used to be a great restaurant and our go to takeaway as not only was their food good quality but they were very generous with portion sizes, especially for loyal customers. Now you get very average food, some below average (pickled onions the last two times were horrible!) and the portions are shocking! For example, when you ordered a spring roll in the past they used to give you at least two (as their spring rolls are fairly small in size) or they would give you a generous replacement item if they ran out. Tonight I paid £7.80 for 3 small spring rolls, ridiculous! We had the same service on our last order here a few weeks ago but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered from them again tonight. Unfortunately we recieved the same result. I hope they go back to how they used to be but for us tonight, I'm sad to say, was our last order.

Not the usual high standard and they have given us a wrong order, we've ordered a large cod and was given small cod with chips. The lamb shish kebab was also on the tough side.

The food tasted rancid...it was very strange. The chips also tasted very odd, noticed that the container they were in had melted to them so that might explain why, ended up chucking it out. Shame.

It was quiet but the manager looked after us well. The food was excellent. We had mixed kebabs and you get free starter, salad and if you're good he might give you some baklava.

Wrong food delivered twice First order wrong completely and second missing a complete meal and only half portion of scampi

The food portions were great - Literally couldn’t finish it all it was that much. The only downside I would say about the chips (both portions) is that they weren’t very warm.. We had to reheat them.

Food tonight was poor quality I’m really shocked as we are regular diners with Istanbul’s very shocked.

Ordered Cod & Chips - the portion size beats any other locally and tastes really good! I've now made they my regular after trying a few within a 3 mile radius. Oh and the Kebabs are really good too.

The Perfect Hosts, With The Perfect Food! Sunday evening, before a show at the Palace Theatre. It was quiet inside, but the welcome was warm! We had two mains, and a baklava takeaway. The ingredients were fresh, plentiful and the dishes explained. When we got home, we had extra baklava in our dish! Its clear they enjoy pleasing people, and they do it very well! Definitely going to return!
