Food is great and it is the best kebab I have had in Reading. The downside is delivery. It took roughly 50 mins for me to get food delivered and it is cold.

I went in today and was greeted with friendly, smiling and talkative staff. This is exactly what I look for and makes a great impression for the whole experience. The conversation while I waited for my food was a lovely bonus which you can't get at a lot of places! The food was also hot fresh and tasty :) I do recommend!

Authentic donner and their sauces are home made! Would definitely try out their chilli sauce as it’s the reason why everyone keeps going back there. Portion sizes are huge and they are generous with everything. Service is amazing too.

Well done Istanbul,I have to say I've just eaten the best Chicken shish,tender chicken,fresh salad and pitta with lovely crispy chips. On the odd occasion chicken has been over cooked but today and the last order I had was cooked to perfection. Top marks.

We come from out of town to order from here and we have never been let down. The food is always tasty and full of flavor. The staff/owner is always friendly and treats you like a friend or family member and not just a customer. Highly recommend the shisha wraps!

Walked in and even though they were busy we only waited 10 minutes for our kebabs, delicious food, fries still crispy when we got home, kebab was huge but munched the lot it was that good. Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Will be back again.

We walked in and waited a bit as they were very busy but the wait was worth it. Portions are huge and I couldn't finish my meal at one go so will have the rest for lunch tomorrow. The food is absolutely delicious and would highly recommend this place. Was happy to see that they are sticking to the old traditional way and only take cash.

Still sat here waiting nearly two hours for our delivery and have called back once , we used to order every week and stopped because of this , gave them another go but repeatly it keeps happening … such a shame because the food is always amazing … again will be loosing customer after tonight’s delivery

One of the absolute worst! Gave me diarhea for 2 days! Oh! and to top it up, you start getting spam emails straight away, even if you explicitly state to NOT get marketing emails! AVOID AT ALL!!!!

Istanbul Grill is a lovely place to eat your kebabs, one of the best kebabs I ever ate. The kebabs are mouth watering, Especially the chicken shish and the chicken Doner; I really recommend people to try.

Excellent takeaway. I had a lamb doner, with garlic sauce, chilli sauce, onions, lettuce and tomato. The meat was thick and of good quality, in fact the whole portion was huge! The staff were friendly too. Thoroughly recommend!

Ordered late kebab wrap via Deliveroo. No salad, no sauce, dry meat...in a wrap. Guess they couldn't be bothered to re open the salad and sauce boxes! Avoid.

Istanbul grill is a fantastic kebab spot. I have been coming here since I remember… since I was a kid . The food is always fresh with high quality meat, great tasting sauces and nice salad. They also have a wide range of burgers and some of the best chips in town. The guys are super friendly and it’s a pleasure coming here. Highly reccommend !!

First time tried, I really enjoyed it; I definitely recommend, if you ask what was your favourite my favourite was their Lamb Doners and Chicken Shish.

Friendly service. Big fan of the chicken Shish which has a nice marinade and is cooked on the charcoal grill. The homemade garlic mayo and chilli sauces are great. They do not take card but there’s a free cash point next door.

I have ordered from here a few times. Mainly because I prefer a chicken doner over other kebabs. In the main the food is great. However on a number of occasions they have messed up my experience by leaving out the chilli sauce or supplying a lack lustre kebab because I've ordered close to closing time.

I haven't used them a while until yesterday and forgot how mighty fine the food is. The smell as its cooking is incredible and the look of the food in the counter makes your mouth water. I'm a fan of home made chilli sauce and their sauce does not disappoint. Will be back again soon for sure

Absolutely amazing food. Very quick delivery service and food came fresh and hot. Ordered the XL mixed kebab. The taste was awesome. The dips would be a definite recommendation especially the hot dip. Will be having this again if I'm ever in Reading again.
