Food is ok not superb. Service could have been better. I used to visit this restaurant as it was one of my favourites before covid. It just have recently changed management because my favourite large T-Bone steak is no longer in the menu and the waiters are not Italian. (They used to be). I miss the old Isolabella. The only good thing is that the meal was very cheap, it's 50% off if you book via OpenTable. So for that I'd give it 5 stars 🌟

Don't be put off by the uninspiring frontage. This is a great little Italian restaurant that few people know about, but many more people should. If you can't get a table at nearby Ciao Bella on Lamb's Conduit Street (and really, why do you want to so much?) then try here. You won't be disappointed.

This was a lucky find as it was so close to Christmas. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Everyone raved about the food on my table. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. Also very good value for money for London. Will definitely be going back in the new year.

I had a party with about 40 people. We had a lovely afternoon, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive and made our celebrations special.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we did not have any expectations but this place is fantastic. The food was impeccable; the portions are generous too! The customer service was excellent and thanks to our waiter Fred who was amazing during our meal. Definitely recommend! UPDATE : Following the first visit, we went there a second time for a birthday meal and were actually quite disappointed with the quality of our food and customer service. The food tasted completely different from the first time we tried it; the lasagna was very watery, almost like a soup. The rest of pastas were tasteless and not to mention customer service. The manager was a different lady this time who would not acknowledge us or ask how the food was, say hello or goodbye even though we were the only people in the restaurant. I’m not sure what happened since the first review, whether the staff have changed since or they just don’t care but it’s unfortunate as the place would have had a great potential.

Fish was raw and incredibly salty. Cannelloni only tasted of cheese, fried courgettes flavourless. They replaced the two fish dishes at no extra charge, and were apologetic, which is why they got 2 stars. I will not be returning.

We had to wait 45 mins for our orders to be taken, then another hour and quarter to actually receive our food ! Which was not cooked properly

I had my birthday dinner here and can attest to the fact that is a perfect place for big group dinners! Their service is lovely and staff are so friendly and give you great recommendations. They have a good veggie selection which I love! I would recommend their cannelloni (if you love cheese) or their funghi pasta. Their tiramisu is also really good albeit a bit overpriced. Overall, I had a lovely time at Isolabella and I look forward to coming here again!

Très beau restaurant, en plus de ça les plats sont bons et sont servis rapidement. De plus les serveurs Ricardo et Claudia sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients. Si vous passer par là ça vaut le détour.

Almost empty lunchtime, over cooked the cod, which also had several bones in it. Basics done badly.

Not a single smile or friendly gesture from any of the serving staff. All boring men in black! Food was average at best.

Brilliant Italian food, the Vongole was fantastic. Starters were huge, main course perfect, desserts were delicious. Staff friendly, swift and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing place with authentic Italian food !

Went here to celebrates a friends birthday. There was a large party of us (34). The restaurant and staff couldn't have been more helpful, in that they allowed us to put up banners and pictures of the person whose birthday it was, also throughout the evening they were really attentive and nothing was too much for them. Service wasn't rushed so it made for a great dining experience as well allowing time to chat to friends between courses (we were probably in the restaurant for 3 hours). The food was plentiful and really tasty and everyone in the party sat near be seemed to think the same. If there was one criticism (and it in no way affects my thoughts on the service and staff) was those who had ordered sides had to wait for them whilst the staff served everyone their main dishes. However with 34 of us you can't expect to have everything at once. I am just amazed, as I always am in restaurants, how the chefs managed to get everyone's main dishes to come at the same time, especially given there was 34 of us !!!! Another thing which shows how good this place is was I noticed that there was very rarely an empty table and there were customers coming and going all the time we were in there, not sure if they had booked or reserved but that is always a good sign. I would also add that the price I have shown below would be an average across all 34 of us. Some had more expensive meals whilst some had Wine to drink whilst others just had beer

Had an excellent meal here. There was a large choice on the menu and the dishes were well presented with lots of flavour. Service was pleasant. It did start to get busy at around 6pm on a weekday so I'd recommend reserving a table in advance.

Friendly service, great food and pleasant atmosphere. Recommend the mozzarella sticks and cannelloni. You won't be disappointed.

Such a wonderful place, everyone was just lovely, especially a Portuguese waiter, he was very friendly, helpful and patient with us. The food is tasty, good portions and very well presented, good timing in between starters and mains, we also had desserts that were delicious. Price are good! We had 2 bottles of Prosecco and still was a very good price each.

Having used this restaurant several times before covid I was looking forward to returning but sadly the food did not live up to expectation on this occasion. The cannelloni was very dry and the rest of my party were also disappointed with their choices. Perhaps we were just unlucky but I'm not sure we will return.

I am sorry, but unfortunately this is not a real italian restaurant. So I would not recommend it. The service is super nice tho. Also expensive for what it is. It is hard for me to leave a bad review.

Had a great meal at Isolabella. I ordered the sea bass. All side dishes are extra at around £6. The sautéed potatoes were excellent, Prices are acceptable, a meal for 2 with drinks came to £78. The good thing is there is no service charge. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Located at the top end of red lion street. Quite busy during a recent visit. Had the chicken pasta which was very good. Would certainly visit again.

Tastecard finds: We found this spot on Tastecard whilst we were out and about and it did not disappoint! The interior was very cosy and welcoming; got seated and the waitress took care of us immediately. The menu was quite extensive covering from pasta/risotto dishes all the way to fantastic desserts. They didn’t lack when it came to flavours and we were quite impressed, especially with the lamb shank being tender and falling off the bone. The spaghetti carbonara was not overly salty, which I was very glad about. The desserts came well presented and their taste matched their looks. Overall we enjoyed our visit and we would definitely recommend you coming here for your next date especially if you’re looking for authentic Italian dishes that come with great taste.🥰

Visited as part of a large group for a friend's birthday. The service was friendly and the food delicious. Would definitely return. Next time I hope to try the tiramisu as we were on a schedule and didn't have time to stay for dessert!

Lovely little traditional Italian restaurant with authentic Italian-speaking, polite waiters. I would definitely class the restaurant as ‘higher end’, however I have noticed it caters to all crowds; from lunching families all the way to office folk for brunch! Seemingly always busy around peak times. The food is authentic and the portion sizes healthy; the buzz of the crowds tightly packed (table to table) in this lovely, little restaurant speaks for itself! I have visited twice. Both times I ordered the Bruschetta starter; crispy toast with garlic and balsamic tossed, fresh tomatoes. One word; Heavenly! However beware if you’re not a garlic fan! … not for the faint hearted! (: Mains: Grilled sirloin steak with a side of fries and cream and mushroom sauce at my request (as opposed to pepper corn, steak sauce) The steak was flavoursome, albeit a tad bit fatty and as a result thereof a bit chewy. The mushroom sauce was delicious, as were there crispy fries. (Please find Photos below) Another time I had the Veal in tomato sauce,- also delicious and tender, however the meat portion was significantly smaller than the steak was, and the tomato sauce a bit bland for my liking.

A fantastic Italian Restaurant with amazing food and away from the hustle and bustle of central London whilst still being in central! Had a family dinner and ordered a variety of starters, the star of which was the chicken livers and bacon in a sage butter sauce. Fritto Misto was also very nicely prepared with good quality seafood and light batter coating. A lot of reviews have mentioned generous portion sizes and I would have to agree. Pasta dishes were packed full of ingredients and does not skimp on quality. My wife had the devonshire crab linguine and every bite had crab meat. The linguine a la vongolle and a la scoglio are also sublime. Desserts are traditional and also well portioned although the gelatos are probably enough for two to share if ypu have had starters and mains beforehand. Decor is clean and modern, however because of the size of the room it can be quite loud if there are large groups which make conversation a little hard to hear at times.

I’d usually walk past a place like this, but it has some really good authentic Italian cuisine at reasonable prices

Ordered a medium Sirloin steak, got one cooked to Well. Other than that the atmosphere is undistinguished. Service was generally decent. Tricolore and steamed broccoli dishes were pretty good.

Eating 1pm on Friday is probably not the best time to judge the atmosphere of a restaurant, so 3* may be a little unfair. From the moment I arrived, the service was superb. As I was short on time, I went straight for a mains, whilst my two guests went for two courses. I had a steak with sautéed potatoes and it was very good. Whilst I can't remember the prices, as I was a guest and my colleague was paying, I can remember that I thought the prices were good value for London.

Enjoyable evening, dinner for 5, great service, food was tasty, we had a variety of dishes, generous portion sizes, the tiramisu was excellent. A charming restaurant!

Posto che di Italiano non ha nemmeno i camerieri. Finito qui per puro caso e necessità di mangiare disperatamente qualcosa. Prezzi altissimi, una Caesar salad, un piatto di pasta quasi, un’acqua e due caffè per £50. Qualità del cibo alquanto deplorevole. Ma capisco che sia cosa i local apprezzano. Fatevi un favore: statene ben alla larga.

We had a fantastic Friday night dinner here. Great staff and host. Fine attention to detail. Simply the best spaghetti carbonara I’ve _ever_ had. The server was skilled enough to identify our bottle was off and brought a new one unprompted. Everything we had was well prepared and served professionally. Can’t say enough good things about this meal and our last night in the city before flying out. Thanks for a great evening!

2nd visit to London and decided to book a meal close to our hotel. Garlic bread to share which can only be described as stale French loaf with a hint of garlic. I had the steak. Sirloin medium. Battered to within an inch of its life to create something that represented a flip flop. My wife had what was advertised as chicken in white wine with mushrooms but was in fact a non descrict white meat in a bland wall paper like paste served with anemic mushrooms. On the plus side our waiter did have a pulse. Very poor and would be bankrupt in a week back up north where its said to be grim. At least we know a good meal when we see it and this was not one.avoid.

Absolutely amazing experience. From service to food quality! Staff is very polite and friendly, they were also very helpful and gave recommendations. Every single dish we ordered was exquisite. We ordered calamari, garlic bread, seafood risotto, lamb with mash potatoes, cheesecake and profiteroles. Everything was delicious and the home made cheesecake was the best one we had ever tried!! Thanks so much we are definitely coming back again!

프리미어인 홀본 바로 앞 이탈리안 레스토랑. 맛있고 양도 많습니다. 아이와 함께 방문했는데 너무 만족스러운 식사였어요. 까르보나라는 베이컨 맛이 강한 편이고 양이 아주 많습니다. 마르게리타피자 대만족. 영국음식들 다 간이 세거나 소스가 없거나.. 불만족이었는데 여기는 간도 딱 좋고 신선해서 행복한 식사였어요. 특히 샐러드는 신선함 그자체. 시키길 너무 잘했다 생각했습니다.
