ALWAYS absolutely love ishmails the food is SO nice, it's quite expensive but really worth the money & l always recommend them!

Flavourless and cold food. Ordered 3 curries, two of them looked and tasted the exact same. Tikka was gritty. Ended up ordering from somewhere else. Order was 30 minutes late

Order arrived earlier than expected which was good, ordered aLamb bhuna chicken rogan Josh and garlic naan, onion bhajis and mushrooms and garlic starters. All food was really tasty and hot lamb and chicken were so tender, delicious! Will definitely order again soon.

Everything slightly grey food wise. Bhajis very greasy. I’ve definitely had better. Thought I’d try as they have more than 4 stars. Very let down.

What an absolute joke of a place! The delivery Guy couldnt be arsed to get out his car and bring the food to our flat door when I have a child in bed and can hardly leave him in bed when he is just over 1 years old!!! And I spent iver £37 on an order! Avoid these at all costs !

The chicken tikka masala was lovely but we found the rice soggy and unable to eat it. My husband ordered a peshawari naan but received a cheese one that he couldn’t eat.

6 pieces of chicken for nearly £10 is not it. I know we're in a cost of living crisis but really? This used to be a great place but has seriously gone down hill.

Decided to order for a change from regular Indian takeaway due to good reviews. Hot and on time but unfortunately hardly any meat and all sauce. The balti dish was nothing like a balti and just blended sauce and bland. 😩

I tried to but they wanted upfront payment. One, I only wanted to pay by cash and 2, I wanted to check what I ordered was actually what I got before This place wouldn't let me do either! Give this a miss

this is my local Indian, so I suppose I am somewhat biased, however the food is great, the prices are good, the menu is varied and so I am happy.

Our usual was closed, this place used to be ok, not anymore, £10 more expensive than our usual and no taste at all, the sauce was watery and bland . Waste of £40

Food was so salty I couldn't eat it but husband said his was ok, so I must have got the bad lot.

As always, lovely food with great flavours and delivered either bang on time or early. Generous portion sizes too. We've never been disappointed with Ishmael's, no idea what any of the negative reviews are talking about :)

The food arrived late and stone cold. The dishes only had 5 pieces of chicken.

The starter was very nice. The main had very little meat in it and seemed to have far too much sauce in comparison to the meat. And the chips were soggy and horrible

Ordered on Just Eat; service was excellent with prompt delivery. I had lamb dopiaza. Lamb was good, not chewy or dry. Shame the dopiaza was bland. Peshwari nan was nice but on the dry side. Wife had the korma. Nice creamy flavour. Chicken was also nice and not dry. For a bog standard Friday night curry at a reasonable price overall I’m satisfied.

Though the food was delivered on time the lamb in the lamb dupiaza was very tough and my wife's pasanda was tasteless!...as if there was a missing ingredient. It was missing some kind of sweet ingredient.

Bloody awful food. Way too much salt. Avoid this at all costs. Premises now in grassroot. Go elsewhere for better food. They have gone completely downhill. I will never use again

I had about six tiny pieces of chicken in my curry! They were the side of a 10p coin. Not worth the money. Everything else was nice so that was a shame.
